08/07/2025: Today I went to this cafe for the first time. I live nearby now and wanted coffee. What wonderful girls work here and the coffee is very tasty

11/06/2025: Good food but was only let down by mushrooms being cooked in garlic and butter.

15/07/2025: Called in here today after a funeral, 11 of us hopeful to be seated. Wonderful staff pulled together tables for us and the service and food was outstanding. It was just what we needed. We will definitely be back

23/05/2025: So disappointed in this place . Arrive 10:15pm on a Friday night And the more mature bar man with a white mustache tried to pull a fast one one me . He served me processco a few days prior and never poured it from the tiny bottle. He tried to pull a fast one . I have lupas so my cheeks were completely inflamed . Anyone that has lupas flares knows this can happen in minutes . So i ordered a processco and he poured half into a glass ( so i wouldnt notice it ) Terrible behaviour. I looked at it Poured what he poured back into the processco bottle. It came exactly halfway. He didnt even apologise... Gave me a full one .. Terrible behaviour. Ive spent almost 400 euros in here the last 5 days , tipping the bar staff 2 euros every drink i got . This WAS not a mistake Absolutely disgusted and disturbed. I will never step inside here again

15/06/2025: This is a beautiful relaxing restaurant overlooking the Quay in Dungarvan....the food was gorgeous and the staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. We will be back.

20/06/2025: Dropped in just after they opened on a Friday evening. Greeted by the landlady who was very welcoming. Guiness was the best we've had so far on our trip around Ireland. Definitely a place to go back. If you miss it, you're missing out

17/04/2025: Absolutely lovely bar, the owner was so helpful and knowledgeable about the town, even called other bars to check for live music the evening for us. Decent beer garden out the back and had some great chats with the very friendly locals. Fantastic pint of Guinness too😉

I was working at Mallow home and garden festival and wanted to buy more than one, Charly kept my order in the fridge for me to collect at the end of the day, I popped over at lunch time to get one I couldn’t wait until I got home to taste them. I asked how long they would last because I wanted a few, there really was no need to ask because I’ll have them all gone by tomorrow. Thanks again for your kindness today and the amazing cheesecakes, see you in Mahon Point

29/06/2025: O'Donnacha's Bar Kilmeaden O’Donnachas has ample parking around the rear of the premises, and a back door which is easily wheelchair accessible. It was, and still is a Traditional Irish Pub. It has a lovely feel to it, and you can tell long before it became a foodhouse, it was a genuine traditional local pub. Much of the character and decor of the building remains providing a cosy pub grub atmosphere where one could anticipate a good hearty meal, and a nice cold pint. Seemed quiet when we were there, but not overally quiet, we were in after the lunchtime rush, and there was a nice few customers enjoying their meals, which gave an overall impression of a place that has a loyal and regular customer base. Despite it being an older style pub, it was spotless inside, and despite some of the tables looking a bit worn with age, and use, (which is perfectly acceptable given the setting) they were spotlessly cleaned and bussed immediately when customers left. Service was prompt and efficient. Upon aerial we were greeted by a nice young male staff member who provided us with menu’s and although he was immediately going to direct us to a seat, as he was about to do so,he left it to us to decide, as the place was not too busy, and there was no need to seat customers in particular spaces. When placing an order, an enquiry was made if a slight change could be made, and to his credit, he immediately said that he did not know, as he had not been working there too long, but would check, which he did promptly and returned confirming there was no problem. Everybody is new to their job at one point and dont always know everything, and I always admire those that openly admit that. They are humans not personal servants. I ordered a chicken Burger, which as you can see from the picture, was perfection on a plate. The chicken was well cooked with a deliciously crunchy coating, when you bit into it half the contents didnt fall out of the far side of the bun, all served with a portion of hand cut chips, and side salad. Zero complaints here about the food Toilets were small but adequate, and although the general feeling of this place is now more foodhouse than pub, the toilets definitely come from the time it was solely a pub.

29/06/2025: ordered the beef , got two slices that were wafer thin , NOT value for money , wont be back.
