29/03/2026: Great atmosphere all year round – the place has its own unique charm no matter the season. On selected days, there is live music which really adds to the vibe. The pub is large and spacious, so it’s perfect both for meeting friends and for a relaxed evening. Highly recommended!

08/07/2026: Great staff made up for poor seating arrangements in this busy italian sryle restaurant and take out. Food was fresh if somewhat under whelming.

14/07/2026: Busy little place on the prom. Lovely, helpful staff. Vegan options. Lots of locals as well as tourists. Noisy and packed and happy holiday type atmosphere. No complaints. Would recommend but you may be in a queue. Who cares. You're in a tourist beach town. It just shows it's popular. 10/10

12/07/2026: The shopping centre security guard doesn’t take harassment reports on women seriously, A man around 30 to 40 was caught touching and harassing a young woman and it was reported and the security guard brushed it off. The security guard was foreign with dark hair and not affiliated with Tesco just the shopping centre.

30/05/2026: Our stay was nice enough. The room had many amenities, the bathroom was great, especiallythe shower. The weather was warm and there is no AC, so the room was quite stuffy, no air movement. The breakfast was a good spread of hot items, fruit, cereal, pastries, juices, tea and coffee. If you are planning to golf you'll have something to do, otherwise not so much. Our dinner was very tasty and the service was good.

28/05/2026: After we had already booked and paid for this hotel, we received an email saying that there was going to be a private event, and we wouldn't have access to the castle for a 24-hour period. We were staying in one of the lodges. Reading the reviews after the fact, we realized that this has happened to others before. Since the hotel and lodges are on an island, this is particularly problematic. The only other place to get food on the island was at the golf club. The night we went there, they were having a golf event, so we were seated by ourselves in the banquet room. They had run out of the one dish we could eat. The food and wine were mediocre. This hotel needs to do a MUCH better job accommodating its other guests when it is having a private event.

22/04/2026: The best Sunday roast in town now that the greenway manor is closed. Portions are great and its got a varied menu.

08/07/2026: Hidden gem with an amazing view! Don't let the small entrance fool you—once you step inside, the place opens up into a fantastic, spacious bar! The food was absolutely great, the staff were incredibly friendly, and you just can't beat the fabulous sea views. Highly recommend stopping by!

06/07/2026: Cool building but staff were weird. Really weird guy with a beard (I think a bartender/waiter named John or john joe or or something similar) in the staff made my group super uncomfortable. Could feel him watching the woman in my group non stop. Then he kept going out of his way to try talk to them and we left early bc of this. Felt like a dog waiting for his dinner 😭 He tried to mention hanging out with one of the woman in my group and it got so awkward in a creepy way. It’s a shame as the rest of the staff were so professional. all the woman were not impressed

28/06/2026: Ate in this establishment on Friday 26th June. Had fish and chips and it was inedible and service was basic. A member of my party had lamb burger presented soaked in gravy and flavourless
