25/06/2025: Bought a brownie and Focaccia here last weekend. It was super tasty and well recommended. The portions are generous and it really was homely food.

30/05/2025: When you see a queue like this you know it’s gotta be good and my god I was not wrong. Pastries, sourdough bread and coffee were all fantastic.

03/11/2025: Always a good place to meet up. We regularly come to Geoffs for the consistency of the food. We have never had a bad meal here. We have a few meals which we choose to, from the chowder or fish and chips to the curry or the excellent specials, we are never disappointed. Plus the music and ambience is always good and the staff are excellent too.

05/08/2025: The most amazing service and staff. They cater to everyone and even offer smaller portions which is amazing. Food is amazing and price is very reasonable. Serious wouldn't go past it even for a coffee and scone well worth a visit.

22/08/2025: My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary in Waterford and on a whim went into Bell Pepper as we never eat this type of food. The setting was very modern clean and tidy with a really nice atmosphere. There was a great selection on the menu and our starters and main course came very efficiently and were really delicious. Our waiter Shalu was very nice and friendly and gave us great service and attention. To get such a great meal for two including wine and beer for under €50 was an added bonus. Definitely would strongly recommend and will definitely go back if I’m ever in Waterford again.

27/10/2025: En route to Dunmore East. Popped into this little gem. The food is absolutely beautiful. Staff very friendly and very professional. There's a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Tried Ferrero roche cheesecake. It was beautiful. The risotto was amazing. Just a great place food amazing.

05/09/2025: We visited in August and had to wait in a long queue, as many people said the food was worth it. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The food tasted worse than average – more like a cheap jar of pasta sauce from Lidl than anything freshly prepared. To make matters worse, I was served a dirty beer glass and dirty cutlery. Overall, a very unpleasant experience and definitely not worth the wait.

03/07/2025: Rib roast 17:50 per portion. 2 of us ordered this. To say it was inedible is an understatement. Full of fat and tough as a boot The veg was like there was a film of grease on them Left most of it and just left. I heard its changed hands in the past year. It shows !!! Definitely wont be going there again

01/09/2025: I really love Kyoto Waterford, but I’m taking a couple of stars off because every single time we order chef’s selection of sushi (even the larger portion), it only comprises of nigiri & never any maki or uramaki. It’s really frustrating (I like the mix of types, but nigiri is my least favourite). This hardly represents a variety or selection. I had thought that maybe it was because they didn’t want to prepare a whole maki roll & o my use some of it in the platter, but they use a couple of pieces per bento box, so that’s not the reason. I really wish they would change this, or at least actually call it what it is: Chef’s nigiri selection, not a chef’s sushi selection. As it stands, it’s very misleading. If they remedied this, it’d be 5 stars from me.

07/09/2025: Had been hoping to try Mara for a while now and went for their Harvest Festival tapas menu last night - it did not disappoint! The atmosphere of the restaurant feels really special, the service was great and the food was unique and delicious. Special mention for the burnt basque cheesecake which was amazing! Looking forward to visiting again soon.

03/09/2025: On a quiet Sunday evening we had a ovely inventive tasting menu with Luis fusing Japanese cuisine with Irish produce and his Spanish influences. Also great wine pairings!

07/10/2025: Lovely spot, great staff. Excellent for having parties. It needs a vegan option so I wouldn't come to eat here. On request it does offer a vegan platter for parties but sadly no vegan option any other time.

07/10/2025: Popped in here recently whilst on a family trip to the area, 2 adults 2 kids 8 & 4. We as a couple had a great experience in this restaurant 8.5 yrs prior so we thought we’d give it a go. It didn’t disappoint. No booking no problem, nice little table. Colours for the kids from get go, very attentive staff. We only had mains so can only guess how good the starters may have been. Mains were tops. Kids then walked over to the ice cream counter were a very patient staff member called out each ice cream flavour. A must visit for food, comfy atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Hoping it won’t be years again I return 😊

17/09/2025: "Coriander plays no role in Italian pasta," but unfortunately, this very eager chef didn't seem to know that. The pasta wasn't described as containing coriander, but rather as Pasta Azurro with king prawns and chilli lime sauce. In the end, there was so much coriander in the pasta that I could only eat the prawns, and even they tasted of coriander. Perhaps the chef doesn't know what Italian pasta means and occasionally confuses coriander and basil... It's a shame that they wanted €21.95 for this inedible dish, because even if it were free, I would never want to eat this pasta again. My mistake for ordering takeaway, otherwise I would have sent this pasta straight back to this incredibly Italian chef in his kitchen with my best regards. I will never eat there again and I would only recommend eating there if you don't want Italian quality but a cheap imitation at overpriced prices.

10/07/2025: I love this place, the staff is lovely and helpful, the food is delicious (I recommend the salmon and avocado on sourdough toast) and the place is so good decorated. My partner and I try to go as often as we can.
