17/08/2025: I had a wonderful experience at People’s Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish full of flavour and clearly made with care. The staff were very attentive and made us feel well looked after throughout the meal. The ambiance was calm and relaxing, perfect for enjoying good food and company. I especially loved the homemade desserts, a real treat to finish off the evening. Overall, excellent value for money. Highly recommended!
07/08/2025: For the first time I was in years disappointed, all the food was very salty, I couldn't taste the fish or sauce flavour. 😢

05/07/2025: My favourite place for breakfast in Cavan. You never leave disappointed. Service is very friendly and timely. Food is amazing and you won't leave with an empty stomach that's for sure. A must visit place to eat in Cavan no matter the occasion.

29/08/2025: Absolutely beautiful meal here last Friday evening. Staff were so helpful with the menu for GF options, and our dinners were divine! One of the best meals we've had out in ages. We would definitely come back again. Great experience!

17/08/2025: We stopped to have dinner, it was fabulous, the service, wine and dinner was excellent. I highly recommend the teriyaki stir-fry ( I had it with prawns) it was delicious.

07/08/2025: we had a great meal here. If Paul Muldoon was a great chef he might have been involved in my hake as well as our beef shin croquette starter. But Seamus Heaney might have had more to do with my wife’s spring lamb which was the star of the meal. Well mannered free verse plates.

09/08/2025: My wife and I called in to Murphys while out for a drive in Cavan.My God were we glad we stopped.From the moment we steped inside the door we were greeted with smiles and the staff were unbelievable.The food was out of this world.The owner came to our table and we had a lovely chat about the history of his business.The pub itself was beautiful and it was immaculate.Cant recommend it enough.
24/06/2025: Group of 6 and we all really enjoyed our meals. Large portions all freshly cooked and great service. Had to ask for the vegetarian menu but a good selection on this.
