06/11/2025: Food is always impeccable, great staff and lovely atmosphere. We are regular diners here and would highly recommend!

25/10/2025: Ordered the beef cheek and the chicken curry dish, no words, simply mouth watering.👌 And of course, deserts put a smile on my face. Ordered the Creme brulee and the Panna Cotta. The cream brulee was so good that İ was considering ordering again, but too bad İ'm on a diet. As for the Panna Cotta, there is room for improvement, as it was a bit too sour. Staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. A very good dining experience overall.

16/10/2025: Great atmosphere, lighting is spot on, especially if you have sensory issues. The staff treat you with great respect. The food is perfect. Ideally sized portions with incredible flavours. We love coming here and highly recommend this restaurant.

21/09/2025: every time my family go to cavan we always go to dinner here!! the staff are so lovely and attentive and we’ve never had any problems with our food. They also offer gluten free and can cater to other options. Definitely recommend this place!! :)

14/11/2025: Group of friends meeting for lunch. All ordered chicken curry which was extremely salty. Waiter was informed and his excuse was that they use McDonnells curry sauce!! We were flabbergasted along with very disappointed with the meal. All plates went back with only half the curry eaten. Very very disappointed.

19/11/2025: Booking/check in wasn't great. I was very clear with the booking requirements well in advance via email, they still messed it up. As a result, I had to deal with the family issue aftermath whilst celebrating a family evening - Not great. Food was lovely. They respect food allergies which is great. There was an anticlimax an hour an a half after the meal. It was a Tuesday night - 1 year wait for a reservation and €400+ per person. Last orders was 11:30ish, we all wanted a drink afterwards & couldn't get one. No residents bar. The cost and no residents bar, the tortorous drive isn't worth it. If you live near this place, go visit for a special event.

05/11/2025: We had a wonderful experience today at the Lakeside Manor Hotel. We were greeted by a lovely gentleman at the bar and received our drinks and menus straight away. The place had such a cosy, calm atmosphere with a beautiful setting by the lake. The food was absolutely delicious — every bite was perfect! All of the staff were fantastic and so professional . The views of the lake were just gorgeous. Fabulous service, delicious food, and a warm, welcoming team. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back soon

12/11/2025: The hotel is great, friendly staff as you'd expect. Nice rooms, cozy lobby and of course a fantastic bar area called "The Killykeen Bar". Photo attached is an apple pie with vanilla ice-cream and custard sauce, couldn't have done it any better! Overall, easy 5 star for everything.

03/11/2025: We eat here a few times each year and always choose the cod and chips. Quite simply it is the best I have ever tasted. The staff are 200% friendly, they love dogs (even give treats) and have a good chat with you. If you are in the area, this is the best place to eat.dawn and Colin Kirk
