22/07/2026: It is my favorite restaurant in Galway. There are a lot of choices, and all the ones I tried were delicious. Portions are very generous, and the price is reasonable. The staff is also very kind.

19/07/2026: The service is head and shoulders above anything else I have experienced recently. Friendly, personable and genuine. The restaurant - in essence one large room - was jammed with animated diners. It reminded me of places I used to eat at in Wanchai Hong Kong - noisy, but the noise of happy hungry human beings. The food was exceptional - the portions verging on huge. I was sceptical about the wine on tap, but the carafe of Albariño we ordered hit the spot and worked perfectly with the food. The spice-coated beef on the Spicy Beef Salad had a BBQ’d vibe which was excellent. A tad more fresh chilli in the salad may have provided more oomph, but a moot point. The Mamak Goreng and Wok Fried Duck were packed with a myriad of flavours; the kind of food you keep eating even when full! Highly recommended.

17/07/2026: Plz try the beef braised noodle. Their handmade noodle are perfect and beef is so tender. Me and my bf had a happy meal.

20/08/2026: Waitresses were so lovely as soon as we walked in, really informative about the menu and kind overall. The restaurant was near the back and the lighting made the place look gorgeous, our table was well set and it looked beautiful inside. The booking was for 5 of us and we ordered 5 sharing dishes. The food was amazing and definitely worth the money for the quantity. The starters were smaller but that’s a given and they were so tasty. For our mains we ordered the duck fried rice, stirloin steak and prawn curry. Everything was immaculate in flavor and well-cooked. Would 100% come back and definitely would recommend to others! They even brought out a mini ice cream and candle for our friend’s birthday! Lovely time!!

20/08/2026: Food was fantastic, and the main portion sizes were generous. Staff were incredibly friendly and so helpful the whole evening. Really unique interior and a really nice atmosphere about the place would 100% recommend.

23/07/2026: A pleasant and entertaining setting. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly and funny. We had a lovely time enjoying a very good meal. I highly recommend it.

25/07/2026: **Very unprofessional service.** We were told to finish our food within 15 minutes because they were about to close. The staff also told us that all the other restaurants would be closed, so we wouldn't be able to find anywhere else to eat. We felt rushed throughout our meal, which made the experience very unpleasant. Better customer service and communication would have made a big difference.

01/08/2026: Downstairs was busy so ended upstairs and there was only two occupied tables. The vibe of the place is old school, the pop music playing did not match the atmosphere. The menu is old and wrecked. The drinks came, wine was off, and Guinness tasted bad. The glasses were dirty. Food came fast, the chips were dry and floury, is arid too harsh? The steak was well done and it's sauce obviously came from a bottle (the type poured over sdws at Spar or Centra) the onions weren't caramelized, black pepper sauce would have been better especially with mushrooms. The ciabatta seemed fresh. The fish was edible. Popcorn chicken was dry. Welcome to 1974.

27/07/2026: We had lunch here and were extremely satisfied. The food was delicious and plentiful. The price was absolutely reasonable for the quality. The service was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

02/07/2026: This is a family run business.The head man is a legend in the village consistently providing great takeaway Chinese food for all. They should erect a statue to the man.

22/07/2026: I visited with my 3 daughters 21,11 & 7 wanted to charge me adult price for my 11 year daughter I asked to speak to the manger to discuss pricing, manger refused to speak to me and charged me teen price for my 11 year old. Charged €103 absolutely disgusting. Staff member had horrible attitude. Will never visit again. Waiter kept sweeping beside us as we were eating felt deliberate. The only reason I paid and stayed because we were celebrating and my daughter really liked global.

20/07/2026: Came for a takeaway and got my food in less than 5 minutes. Thomas that works there is a nice and friendly guy and the food was delicious.

06/07/2026: The claypot rice is very authentic! The rice noodle rolls and stir-fried rice noodles are also good; it's worth coming back often.

20/07/2026: Young lady with glasses was so rude laughed in my face the whole time of ordering then gave me cold reheated food! Ridiculous carry on stay clear of this place if your an Irish looking for good Chinese

12/07/2026: Terrible food, ordered fride rice and came extremely spicy, even on the menue didnt said anything abut being spicy. When asked if this is how supossed to be, was said that is this what you ordered and turned around and didn't said anything. Avoid this place.

20/07/2026: Got their version of kang pao chicken and pork with garlic stem. The pork with the garlic stem was our favorite... the kang pao was ok, needed more seasoning and little bit more of spice.

07/07/2026: We ordered takeaway and dined in multiple times food is delicious, portions very generous very difficult to outcompete when we are choosing where to eat in city centre 😅
