15/11/2025: absolutely obsessed with this place. the hand-pulled noodles are everything. soft, moist, springy, and so delicious. the broth is the kind that makes you pause for a second because it’s that good. i tried the braised beef noodles and wow… the beef was cooked to perfection, tender all the way through with just the right seasoning. comforting, flavourful, and honestly one of the best bowls i’ve had in a long time. will definitely be back.

15/11/2025: Everything about this place was unmatched! I am visiting from New York, if you are only in Dublin once in your life you NEED to make Hang Dai a part of your trip. The vibe of the restaurant is incredible, the food and drinks are A+, but the best part is the staff (shoutout Kyle and Sue!!). The DJ Emma was carrying the vibes all night, she does not miss. The Kokomo cocktail is fire (I’ve had 3). I love with this place I hope I get to come back someday!

12/11/2025: Ka Shing is a real gem in the center of Dublin for anyone who loves authentic Cantonese food. The moment you step inside, it feels like a trip back in time in the best possible way. The interior design has an old school charm with red lanterns, classic Chinese artwork, and an overall warmth that gives it a nostalgic feel. It reminds me of the kind of family style restaurants that used to define Chinatown dining before everything became modern and minimal. The food here is excellent, especially the dim sum. Every dish comes out steaming hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The shrimp dumplings are delicate and perfectly cooked, and the siu mai has just the right balance of pork and shrimp. Service is quick and friendly, and even when the place is busy, the staff manage to stay attentive. Do not miss saying hello to the fish in the aquarium at the front of the restaurant. It adds to the charm and makes the atmosphere even more relaxed. Whether you come for lunch or dinner, Ka Shing delivers a consistent, satisfying meal that feels both traditional and comforting. I will definitely be returning the next time I am in Dublin.

14/11/2025: Good fun for a group. Very entertaining and good food.

04/11/2025: We went there for a farewell do for a colleague. Their evening special menu is good value and everybody was happy with the food. The staff was warm and friendly. We didn't go for the Teppanyaki but something I would like to try - it looked like so much fun. The atmosphere was very lively and entertaining so suited us very well. If you are looking for a more intimate or quiet dinner you should check first if they have a separate area for that.

02/12/2025: The food was delicious and the staffs were kind but before entering I asked the receptionist if there is a time limit for how long we can stay and she said the shop closes at 10pm so I assumed there wasn't a time limit. Later on we were asked to leave as it turns out we could only stay for 2 hours. But like I said the food was great for the price, just wish there was a bigger selection of food. I would still recommend going to this buffet. Note: they also doesn't provide free WiFi. Not a big deal but just thought I should put it out there.

02/12/2025: The hot pot buffet on the second floor was delicious! I highly recommend the mushroom broth; it was so fresh and tasty! The tomato broth was also good, very flavorful, like the tomato broth at Haidilao. Definitely don't order the milk broth; it's completely tasteless, just milk and water. The food cooked in it has no saltiness whatsoever, like boiled vegetables—it's awful. The ingredients were all very fresh, including vegetables, glass noodles, white shrimp, basa fish, mussels, and even hot pot ingredients—so thoughtful! The buffet on the first floor is also self-service, which is great! 😎

15/11/2025: The kids loved the buffet; they could choose their favorite foods. The sushi section even had freshly made , which ensured the freshness of the ingredients.

19/11/2025: Order: chicken chop suey with fried noodles. Received: chicken chop suey with fried rice. It is a busy and noisy area, so mishearing happens. Not ideal, but not tragic. 5/10 Food: one of the better chop suey dishes I have had from Chinese takeaways. Not excellent, slightly too salty, but they followed my instruction no celery, and the tray wasn't overloaded with onion. Solid effort. 7/10 Portion: standard size, nothing exaggerated, but fully fair. The best part: only 10.80, while others charge 13-15+ for the same dish. 10/10 Service: simple packaging - plastic tray for the main, aluminium tray for the side, basic brown paper bag. No napkins, no chopsticks, no cutlery. Functional but minimalistic. 6/10 Price: for Dublin standards, extremely affordable. Genuinely surprising in a positive way. 10/10 Overall: 8/10. Good value, good taste, and very fair pricing. Despite the mix-up, I will definitely return.

06/11/2025: 10/10 every time, open tray 4 in 1 is deffo the best in Dublin. Get some amount of chicken. Deffo on the pricier side for a 4 in 1 but actually not the worst for the amount you get. LOVE, struggle to get from other Chinese since having this.

31/10/2025: For months, been ordering their excellent takeaway, this time we sat down and we're so impressed by the quality of their dishes, the menu was extensive with Singapore noodles with orawns , salt and pepper shrimp and the steak and mushrooms in oyster sauce being supremely delicious. Staff are all so attentive and proud of kitchen's dishes. Must admit to truly enjoying the Tsing Tao beer after missing it for years.

02/10/2025: Edit - tried it again today and it was amazing! They changed the packaging and the food was hot tasty and fresh. ———— Worst packaging ever, the paper bag got cut and the food fell on my front door while the delivery man was handling me the food! We only got to taste the sweet and sour chicken which was good but the rice, noodles, and beef all were on the floor

The food is absolutely incredible—I can honestly say it's some of the best Chinese food I've had in a very long time. ​Beyond the delicious food, the staff are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. They make the dining experience even more enjoyable with their warm and attentive service. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is a must-visit spot for a fantastic meal and great atmosphere. Highly recommended! We will be back again soon.
