18/01/2026: We heard so much about mamarich before, we thought of going here and trying the dishes to see why everyone loves this place so much! But to be honest, I didn’t like it so much or maybe I didn’t try the right dishes. Also, the portions of the starter dishes are so small but nevertheless the mains have good large portions to it! 🍽️ What we tried: - Japanese udon Pad Thai Korean fried wings Skewers Cramberry juice

16/01/2026: Love this place!! Tried yesterday for the first time and 5/5 recommend! The staff were so lovely, the restaurant has such a nice relaxed and warm environment. The food were delicious, and portions huge, got some yummy leftovers to take home. Lot of options to choose from and they were very accommodating with gluten free options. I got the mojito alcohol free as well, so they are truly kind and take great care of their customers and their different needs. Their location is superb. Only piece of advice is that the space is limited, so I recommend booking a table for a bigger party. Thanks for everything!

16/01/2026: We had a meal for our 1st wedding anniversary and it was a great experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was very well presented and the mains portions were large. Food was delicious. I would definitely recommend to a friend and we will be returning. Great atmosphere!

03/01/2026: We’ve been regular customers up until this visit, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. We waited around 30 minutes just to place our order, and then another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. It was disheartening to see a table seated after us receive their starter before our food was served, with no explanation or apology offered. When the food eventually arrived, it appeared to have been microwaved rather than freshly prepared, which made the long wait even harder to understand. Overall, the experience fell short of what we’d come to expect. We hope this was a once-off, but unfortunately it has made us reconsider returning unless there’s a noticeable improvement.

18/01/2026: Attended for a work Christmas lunch and had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely delicious, cooked in front of us. Lots of interaction from the chef and a singsong at the end. The restaurant opened early to accommodate us which was really appreciated by us country folk having to travel a distance! Will definitely be back and would highly recommend, especially for groups. Staff were so attentive and friendly.

17/01/2026: I came down from Belfast to try this place after some good reviews. The food is very well presented, portions are OK, can be a bit small for some. The service is OK, can afford to be a bit more attentive. Bathrooms are clean.

19/11/2025: Order: chicken chop suey with fried noodles. Received: chicken chop suey with fried rice. It is a busy and noisy area, so mishearing happens. Not ideal, but not tragic. 5/10 Food: one of the better chop suey dishes I have had from Chinese takeaways. Not excellent, slightly too salty, but they followed my instruction no celery, and the tray wasn't overloaded with onion. Solid effort. 7/10 Portion: standard size, nothing exaggerated, but fully fair. The best part: only 10.80, while others charge 13-15+ for the same dish. 10/10 Service: simple packaging - plastic tray for the main, aluminium tray for the side, basic brown paper bag. No napkins, no chopsticks, no cutlery. Functional but minimalistic. 6/10 Price: for Dublin standards, extremely affordable. Genuinely surprising in a positive way. 10/10 Overall: 8/10. Good value, good taste, and very fair pricing. Despite the mix-up, I will definitely return.

06/11/2025: 10/10 every time, open tray 4 in 1 is deffo the best in Dublin. Get some amount of chicken. Deffo on the pricier side for a 4 in 1 but actually not the worst for the amount you get. LOVE, struggle to get from other Chinese since having this.

31/12/2025: The price was reasonable, but the food was really unrefined. The vegetables were undercooked and tough, the nuggets were tasteless, the chicken curry seemed to be made with reconstituted chicken—in short, I wouldn't recommend it. The stomach ache I had when I got back to the hotel is proof enough.

30/12/2025: All I can say is PERFECTO this place is perfect 👌 👍 everywhere clean. Nice workers

18/01/2026: Highly recommend! The stir-fried vegetables were delicious, with a great thickening sauce and excellent wok hei (wok aroma). Other stir-fried dishes were also very good. For dinner, they also offer freshly grilled teppanyaki and freshly cooked mala tang (spicy hot pot). The teppanyaki was even better than the mala tang! Overall, I would definitely visit again! 💗 The only major drawback was the extremely smelly toilet… The toilet wasn't flushed; it used a vacuum system, which was very inefficient. The toilet was very dirty. I hope the restaurant can replace it with a flush toilet.

09/05/2025: It is a great place for a takeaway, I ordered a medium munch box and it was absolutely huge, A family of 4 couldn't finish it completely, An extra portion of noodles included and massive sauce, will defo come back with the next visit

15/11/2025: I tried the prawn green curry, beef muddles, chicken satay, and fried prawns, and I found the food really excellent. I don’t eat Chinese food often, but everything was very tasty and fresh. Highly recommend this place! I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but this is my honest experience.

29/11/2025: Great atmosphere, if it’s not because of the fried rice I would give it a 5 star very easily. All the main dishes were well served and super tasteful. The only late that was very disappointing was the egg fried rice. It seems that they just added an omelette on top of the white rice… 😩

05/08/2025: You don't want to miss the Golden Palace Chinese in Dungloe! The food is absolutely incredible—I can honestly say it's some of the best Chinese food I've had in a very long time. ​Beyond the delicious food, the staff are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. They make the dining experience even more enjoyable with their warm and attentive service. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is a must-visit spot for a fantastic meal and great atmosphere. Highly recommended! We will be back again soon.

10/08/2025: Best restaurant in gorey the food it is always fresh and tasty.The staff are really nice .Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.We order take away from it when we visit Gorey and have a meal in it too.Prices are great and portions are very generous too.

28/07/2025: While on holidays in Gorey we noticed this restaurant and decided to go on the last night. This was the best decision the food was outstanding and that was agreed by a fussy eater. Food came out hot brought kids meals out with starters, never rushed the taste was so good. The staff were friendly and kind to the kids especially. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend.
