18/01/2026: We heard so much about mamarich before, we thought of going here and trying the dishes to see why everyone loves this place so much! But to be honest, I didn’t like it so much or maybe I didn’t try the right dishes. Also, the portions of the starter dishes are so small but nevertheless the mains have good large portions to it! 🍽️ What we tried: - Japanese udon Pad Thai Korean fried wings Skewers Cramberry juice

16/01/2026: Love this place!! Tried yesterday for the first time and 5/5 recommend! The staff were so lovely, the restaurant has such a nice relaxed and warm environment. The food were delicious, and portions huge, got some yummy leftovers to take home. Lot of options to choose from and they were very accommodating with gluten free options. I got the mojito alcohol free as well, so they are truly kind and take great care of their customers and their different needs. Their location is superb. Only piece of advice is that the space is limited, so I recommend booking a table for a bigger party. Thanks for everything!

16/02/2026: great buzzy restaurant very busy but a cool interior and asian small plates of delicious food more than made up by a few service hiccups gochujang wagyu brisket was delicious pork dumplings were good but stuck to the banana leaf in the steamer basket amazing spicy kung po chicken with fried rice and a good bowl of pak choi great cocktails and drinks definitely would recommend

15/02/2026: Extremely disappointed how the standards have dropped, the food was spoilt with nothing but salt, that in turn made us thirsty. I ordered prawns but it was topped with chicken, not ideal if you're a pescatarian. We were served straight up vodka, disguised as tequila. And the experience cost us almost 200 hundred euros. I am allergic to vodka and have been in agony since.. It's such a pity because i used to really rate this place. Now businesses are fooling their customers with cheap food and alcohol and customers are paying a hefty price. After that experience I won't be eating or drinking at Hang Dai again. I spent the next day in bed in agony and I'm still feeling unwell.

17/01/2026: I came down from Belfast to try this place after some good reviews. The food is very well presented, portions are OK, can be a bit small for some. The service is OK, can afford to be a bit more attentive. Bathrooms are clean.

10/12/2025: I have just finished my dinner from here, I will say the breast chicken in the 4 in 1 is absolutely beautiful and very good size but you definitely need more curry sauce, and more rice not enough rice or curry for the amount of chicken. Also ordered chicken cheese rolls !!... very unsatisfied with them, they were dripping with grease and barely any meat inside them :( wouldn't recommend them !!! But the veggie king do dish with boiled rice is beautiful, a good few different types of veg :) 3 out 5 stars

05/08/2025: You don't want to miss the Golden Palace Chinese in Dungloe! The food is absolutely incredible—I can honestly say it's some of the best Chinese food I've had in a very long time. ​Beyond the delicious food, the staff are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. They make the dining experience even more enjoyable with their warm and attentive service. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is a must-visit spot for a fantastic meal and great atmosphere. Highly recommended! We will be back again soon.

03/01/2026: We’ve been regular customers up until this visit, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. We waited around 30 minutes just to place our order, and then another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. It was disheartening to see a table seated after us receive their starter before our food was served, with no explanation or apology offered. When the food eventually arrived, it appeared to have been microwaved rather than freshly prepared, which made the long wait even harder to understand. Overall, the experience fell short of what we’d come to expect. We hope this was a once-off, but unfortunately it has made us reconsider returning unless there’s a noticeable improvement.

09/05/2025: It is a great place for a takeaway, I ordered a medium munch box and it was absolutely huge, A family of 4 couldn't finish it completely, An extra portion of noodles included and massive sauce, will defo come back with the next visit

31/01/2026: Ordered from here Friday evening. Unfortunately the sweet and sour chicken wasn’t good. The chicken had a tough, stringy texture and the sauce tasted flat and overly sweet. Won’t be ordering again.

28/01/2026: I am eating from here since 2019 and every time it’s so tasty and fresh, maybe this is the 3rd time give a 5 star in last 7 year, the food is outstanding and so yummy……never had a bad meal here well done.

29/11/2025: Great atmosphere, if it’s not because of the fried rice I would give it a 5 star very easily. All the main dishes were well served and super tasteful. The only late that was very disappointing was the egg fried rice. It seems that they just added an omelette on top of the white rice… 😩

10/08/2025: Best restaurant in gorey the food it is always fresh and tasty.The staff are really nice .Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.We order take away from it when we visit Gorey and have a meal in it too.Prices are great and portions are very generous too.

28/07/2025: While on holidays in Gorey we noticed this restaurant and decided to go on the last night. This was the best decision the food was outstanding and that was agreed by a fussy eater. Food came out hot brought kids meals out with starters, never rushed the taste was so good. The staff were friendly and kind to the kids especially. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend.
