23/10/2026: Just wow!!! This place is wonderful, my husband and I still talking about those damn chicken wings. They were sooooo good. Great food, wonderful people. Highly highly recommend.

20/10/2026: Excellent food and excellent service! We had lunch at Mama Rich and tried the Tiga Rasa chicken and prawns. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, full of flavour and perfectly prepared. If you're Brazilian and missing a good rice-based meal, this is a great place to visit! We also enjoyed Asahi and Peroni beers. Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and a wonderful lunch in Galway. Highly recommended!

14/10/2026: Chai-Yo restaurant is on Lower Baggot Street in Dublin. It is more than a typical sit down restaurant. Split across two levels, the venue features a traditional basement dining room with lively, interactive teppanyaki tables upstairs and downstairs. If you opt for the teppanyaki experience, there are skilled chefs that put on an impressive show right at your table, involving flashing spatulas, fire tricks, and plenty of humor. Teppanyaki is derived from the word “teppan” in Japan, which means metal plate. “Yaki” means grilled, fried, and pan-fried. So, the literal translation would be grilling or frying on a metal plate. The portions are very generous, and the tasting menus covers steak, chicken, prawns, and sea bass, accompanied by classic egg fried rice and potatoes. There is japanese beer options available which is fantastic. The service is very good. The staff frequently break into guitar songs, sing alongs and personalized celebrations for birthdays or group nights out. While the sprawling pan Asia menu leans towards entertainment and broad appeal rather than strict regional authenticity, and the windowless lower level can get a bit loud and cozy, the overall vibe is endlessly entertaining. It is moderately priced and good place for a group party.

17/10/2026: I found a pretty big bone in the duck fried rice, when I mentioned it to the server, he left and came back and said the kitchen told him it’s normal as there bones in ducks. It didn’t even get removed from the bill, no offer for a free drink or anything. I was there Saturday 17th, 6pm, booking for three, under Cormac.

14/10/2026: We opted for the sharing menu. Food was really good but on the negative I found that the portion size for the amount of our party was a bit on the small side so I was not impressed with that. Service was not great we had to ask a number of times for the drinks we ordered throughout the night. And they forgot about out deserts which we also had to point out. Apart from them negatives we had a good night atmosphere was good cocktails were lovely . Would I go back again probably not but I would recommend to try this place at least once.

18/10/2026: Noodles were fantastic. Especially the braised beef noodle and the signature Lanzhou hand pulled noodles. Very affordable too with huge portions.

18/10/2026: Great food at a great price! The food arrived very quickly, and the portion sizes were generous. I wasn't a huge fan of the small fried rice, but considering the price, I thought the portion size was very fair. Along with the fried rice, I ordered the Braised Beef Noodle Soup... Man, it was amazing! The noodles were delicious, the broth was incredibly rich and flavorful, and the beef had a firm texture but was so tender when you bit into it that it practically melted in your mouth. Overall, a fantastic experience! I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

04/10/2026: The onion bhaji is the best I have ever had. The lamb madras is perfect spiced. They delivered a long distance to me but the food was fresh. Poppadoms were still crunchy. Will be ordering again.

01/10/2026: Went in with low expectations as the restaurant is quite run down. It fell below these expectations. The atmosphere was tired and sad. Dirty and in need of some serious updating. The staff did not care at all about their guests. No talking, no asking how we were doing... no nothing. Some of the staff were severely dressed down, looking like they were right off the street. The food: The broccoli, which I usually enjoy in buffets, had tons of shrimp in it (when you stirred). Why not call it shrimp and broccoli! Two of us are allergic and we should not have to search out on a tiny little disclaimer when the main protein was clearly shrimp. The rest of the food was VERY basic. The choices were limited and it was clear that the freshness was lacking. Money well wasted.

17/09/2026: Great experience for the birthday of our son, staff was super friendly they even sang the happy birthday song and brought a cake, also gave a present to him. How lovely!!

25/09/2026: I like the food here but I feel very unsafe when I sit down to eat due to aggressive people coming in and demanding money. A disclaimer - of course I'm empathetic to their situation and what they are going through, the crisis in Dublin overall is genuinely awful, and I acknowledge it is generally a broader systemic problem. The issue is I've been intimidated by people asking for money, who sit down opposite you uninvited or stand above you while sitting down having a meal, sometimes with others. At one point I was physically approached when I stood up to leave my table. You feel vulnerable as they demand and persist from you, and there is little you can do. Like you're physically sat down in the middle of having food, you feel sort of trapped. Unfortunately it keeps happening. While till staff may eventually approach them, it's not always immediately effective. It's a shame as I like the food. But I cannot sit down here and enjoy a meal as due to the lack of security I feel unsafe.

04/10/2026: On my stay in Dublin I detected this dim sum place the food was extraordinary, different than I know from Hongkong or guangdong but still it was tasty. The place was pretty crowded and the service was more or less under stress, still enjoyed a nice meal there

21/09/2026: I'm a Cantonese, and this place truly serves the best authentic Dim Sum in Dublin! ⭐ I ordered quite a lot and finished everything!! The glutinous rice with lotus leaf was my favorite—so aromatic and soooo good! 🤤 The tea is also proper, a strong Chinese tea, unlike the plain water I had at another dim sum shop nearby. The service was really friendly and welcoming too. They clearly know what they're doing! Absolutely fantastic Dim Sum. Will definitely come back to try their other Chinese dishes next time! 🥢 Must try the dim sum here! My personal recommendations: classic siu mai, shrimp dumplings, xiao long bao, and lotus leaf sticky rice! The aroma of the lotus leaf is unforgettable! 🤤 The service is also excellent; a truly rare find!

01/09/2026: This dinner seems to have quite a few customers as they have high turnover. The price is cheap comparing to anywhere else and the taste is decent. A good place for a quick fix.

30/08/2026: I've tried a few Chinese restaurants lately, so I can't say this is the best yet, but personally, we loved this one. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. Perhaps the only downside, if there's one thing that could be improved, is the smell, since they serve hot pot, and of course, you leave with that smell on your clothes.
