18/01/2025: Collected a takeaway and arrived home to discover the fried rice was burned, chips were reheats and over cooked, chicken was cremated, called to make a complaint about the shoddy food received and was met with an irate chef roaring and shout down the phone, never again would I eat out of this place !! Disgusting and rude.

06/12/2024: i oredered a spice bag after a grueling day a work until. I opened the spice bag and found john pork. He winked at me and blew a kiss, he then jumped out and morphed into his true form, I couldn't believe my eyes. My hero jhonny pork was here, he took my hand and kissed it like the prince he is. I blushed he then took us onto a white horse, we had a bunch of slurpy kisses and had a sword fight with our weiners while we rode into the sunset.

17/03/2025: We ordered a spice bag, chicken balls, and fried rice. To be honest — everything was absolutely delicious! As locals, we used to order from another Chinese takeaway, but this one is even better. The lady at the counter is lovely and really makes an effort to communicate. Highly recommend.

23/02/2025: Absolutely horrible starters was ok mains the duck was like rubber no taste the curry was like water and the chicken was black we eat it one hour ago and the three of us have stomach aches I definitely do not recommend and I would advise anyone to stay far away it’s dirt and a rip off if you could eat it you would not mind the price but we didn’t touch the duck or chicken and still got charged told them it was bad and for no satisfaction

07/05/2025: Me and my girlfriend went here on one of our first dates and loved the food in the restaurant, 2 years later and we decided to order for delivery. The food was all soggy, so bland neither of us could finish it due to it just being unenjoyable and ended up throwing it out, also ordered sweet and sour sauce which they instead gave curry sauce which neither of us eat so that also ended up in the bin. Poor experience overall I won't be ordering from here again

18/03/2025: We have being customers of Richards for years but the food quality has declined, tastes different looks different. One time the quality and consistency was by far the best you would find sadly not now. Make changes for the good guys people won't put up with this much longer

27/04/2025: Was about to order via just eat and then noticed you could order directly from the restaurant. Was slightly put off by the google reviews compared to those on just eat but I’m glad I went ahead and ordered. Food arrived quickly, rice wasn’t very warm but other dishes were. Curry was really flavourful as were the other dishes. Plenty of food and good value for money. Delivery driver also seemed really nice. Will definitely use again.

05/05/2025: Ordered a takeaway set dinner B . There was a bit of a want in the wanton very chewy. The ribs? I've seen more meat on a stone. The beef dish tasted like it had been cooked in bleach or cleaning agent cause it didn't taste like beef. The sweet and sour chicken like the wanton the chicken was chewy and didn't taste like chicken. I won't be ordering anything from hear again.

19/04/2025: Had a takeaway yesterday, can’t say anything about service or atmosphere but food was quite bad. Had a few dishes between us (crispy chicken, crispy beef and the chicken fried rice) and none of them were good…fried rice was oily and salty and the crispy dishes were anything but crispy…not gonna order from this place again

21/04/2025: Horrendous takeaway, waited far too long for the food as there seemed to only be 1 worker, never go there if you are in a rush as the wait time was 40mins to 1 hour.

23/05/2025: Just got a takeaway for 2. We both loved it. It was “old fashioned “ Chinese was water chestnut and bean sprouts. Delicious. Staff were very friendly. Will be back!

27/03/2025: Tasteless, bland food, that is not at all like stir fry, and for that price? No way. It was like one of those cheap ramen packs just with some extra ingredients. They put some vegetables in there and beef (I had beef stir fried noodles) but it was more like a soup and stir fry at all. The carrots were overcooked. I am sure they just strain the water from a soup and serve this as "stir fry". If this food was inside a wok, then I'm the pope. Also no plastic cutlery, just the cheapest wooden ones you can get, and despite being asian, not even chopsticks. The woman who served me was friendly but that's really the only nice thing about this place. Takeaway only.

10/09/2024: Standardized Asian fast food of acceptable quality. The service was friendly. The kitchen is open to view. Here we cook piecework for take-away and restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very simple and functional. The toilets were clean, but not really suitable or sufficient for a restaurant. The food came quickly and was hot. Compared to a good Chinese restaurant, it tasted rather average. The prices were fair and there was free soft ice cream for dessert.

12/07/2024: It was closed today also, walk to the point and came back. Google map day before yesterday said it was closed, but today it says open till 10 pm

22/02/2025: Do not eat from here! Absolutely shocking. They have there sons at the counter answering the phone and they are about 12. The food is terrible. The sooner another Chinese opens in town the better.

02/04/2025: Awful service and food, ordered the salt chili salmon and had asked if it came with steamed veggies to which the waitress said yes- when served come to find it was deep fried salmon pieces (skin on!)slathered in raw onions and peppers- tried a bite and almost got sick, onions overpowered the flavor with the salmon absolutely dried out from deep frying in batter. Had one bite yet was charged €18.50 for a dish that I had been lied to about, offered a simple egg fried rice for free if I was to change the dish (to which I would also have to pay full price for) I’ve never seen salmon deep fried and I think majority of people would not assume it would be so. The restaurant was empty and I can see why! Avoid avoid avoid
