22/06/2025: We ordered from here for delivery. The food never showed up and the money had already been charged to the card. We had to wait until 4 pm the next day to contact them about it, when contacted they could’ve been nicer about the situation.

21/06/2025: I’ve consistently had issues with my orders from Canton City. The order is rarely correct the first time, and I often have to call back to get it fixed. On top of that, the wait times on the phone are very long, and it’s difficult to get proper assistance. I hope the management takes steps to improve accuracy and responsiveness.

26/01/2025: I ordered a takeaway tonight, it arrived one hour after ordering ( that was not the problem) I understand that they were very busy. The guy taking the order couldn’t have been nicer he was extremely polite and friendly, however when the food arrived it was lukewarm the temperature that you would feed to a baby! When I rang to inform the restaurant that the food was lukewarm, I was put on to a Chinese man that was extremely rude,he asked me what I wanted him to do about it! I informed him that I wasnt looking for a freebie and that I just wanted to let them know that the food was cold and that maybe I was the last on the delivery list ( I live 10 minutes away from the shop ) and to my utter shock and disbelief he said “ I don’t believe you,you must be lying! ) Unbelievable!!! Never again. Back to Bennys for me.

18/01/2025: Food was really good . Especially the ribs but it's impossible to get in contact with the restaurant Our food took over 2 hours to get here.

19/07/2025: Take out only, great vegan options, very flavorful, service was really fast. It does close at midnight! I got the fried tofu with Szechuan sauce and the veg fried rice, no egg.

01/04/2025: This place has fallen from the best Chinese Takeaway to the Worst. Food is over priced and wasn’t nice. There seems to be a difference in chefs and food is hit and miss during the week Owners have become greedy with their pricing , quantity of food and quality. Wooden recommend it

10/09/2024: Standardized Asian fast food of acceptable quality. The service was friendly. The kitchen is open to view. Here we cook piecework for take-away and restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very simple and functional. The toilets were clean, but not really suitable or sufficient for a restaurant. The food came quickly and was hot. Compared to a good Chinese restaurant, it tasted rather average. The prices were fair and there was free soft ice cream for dessert.

12/07/2024: It was closed today also, walk to the point and came back. Google map day before yesterday said it was closed, but today it says open till 10 pm

25/06/2025: Chicken gone off rice reheated in the microwave prawn crackers stale this place has really deteriorated as of late what was once a quality Chinese now leaves alot to be desired all food returned this evening and money returned because they know what they are serving people yesterday's left overs !! Have a good mind to call the HSA

12/06/2025: We got half portions tonight!! We spent €40 on literally half filled containers and they literally forgot the spice on the spice box and chicken balls we ordered! The kung po was not a kung po and again half filled our first and last time ordering here

07/07/2025: Got wrappo from summer inn swords ,, the slandered of food is diabolical, the chicken in the wrappo tasted and smelled rank i had to put it in the bin or I would of got very sick ,, how the charge people to serve them this dirt ,its disgusting, won't be buying from here again .

06/07/2025: Very disappointed that they scammed. Ordered a 4 in 1 only got chips. Rang to fix. No reply. Never order here. Was waiting to feed my kids and they pull this scam.

30/06/2025: Ordered a takeaway consisting king prawn and cashew nuts in oyster sauce and chicken chow mein. Lots of prawns in the dish but sadly all of it was utterly tasteless. Threw most of it away.

19/05/2025: I visited here as a family of 2 adults & 2 children . My bill was 75 euro. There were no starters included and the 2 adults drank tap water only, and one fizzy drink each for the kids. The price of the rice and chips is added on afterwards so if you don't see the line at the bottom of the menu stating that, they are not included ( which I didn't until we went to pay) the price of your meal goes up by 4 euro per meal. Both rice and chips are 4 euro each so it doesn't make sense not to include them as I don't know who orders a Chinese dish without rice, chips or noodles. So in my case the chicken curry went from being 16.90 to 20.90. This should be pointed out to the customer when they are ordering it's a very sneaky way of raising their bill! The kids chicken nuggets are 9.90. Again very pricey for a plate of chips and unappetising looking nuggets. I've gotten lovely quality chicken goujons on kids menus before for less than this price! When we arrived in the place was empty we were the only sitting customers so maybe this should have being a red flag when it was a beautiful Sunday evening at 7.pm and you'd imagine it would be a bit busier with people having a meal before they went home for the evening. On a positive note my chicken curry tasted nice. I won't be visiting here again and unfortunately I won't recommend this place to anyone.

19/04/2025: the prawn crackers came uncooked and were not fried the fried rice was smelly and had a strange taste while i was waiting for my food i had paid and a cat came in through the door..it disgusted me it was my first time in castle island since i was travelling through castle island to get home to dublin. so i was hungry and decided to stop for food don't get me wrong castle island is a lovely rural irish town.. but this really let it down so unhygienic the noodles were hard! smelt of utter cow sh*t im sorry but never again animals roaming through a kitchen is disgraceful.. im sorry for this bad review and im not one to complain but when i asked the manager where my food was he decided to call me a fat bastard and to wait my turn and then started to aggressively rub his hands into his hair and let his dandruff into the frying pan and started touching my food with his hamds wouldnt even want to walk past that kip smells of pure poop too..

22/02/2025: Do not eat from here! Absolutely shocking. They have there sons at the counter answering the phone and they are about 12. The food is terrible. The sooner another Chinese opens in town the better.
