10/07/2025: The place is littered with signs of rules from the moment you walk in. It's not a welcoming restaurant, more like they are doing you a favour. They point at the "rules" as you walk in as if it's a prison camp!!!!! Food absolutely disgusting, curry sauce was more like cheese sauce. Was charged 2 euro to have my "curry" sauce seperate!! Zero flavour and ABSOLUTELY ZERO customer service. Obviously the restaurant was empty. I never ever have written a review on Google but this place in 1 word. DISCRACE....

25/07/2025: Got a spice bag, there was no veg in it (peppers or onions) the chicken was chewy and undercooked at the same time . The saltiest thing I've eaten in a while

25/06/2025: Chicken gone off rice reheated in the microwave prawn crackers stale this place has really deteriorated as of late what was once a quality Chinese now leaves alot to be desired all food returned this evening and money returned because they know what they are serving people yesterday's left overs !! Have a good mind to call the HSA

01/08/2025: The woman behind the counter is the most ignorant person ever! Started shouting at me because I wanted to pay by card and my order was a couple or euro short of there 15euro minium to pay by card, I asked if I could order something else small to bring the price up and was told to leave the shop and never come back! Pity I didn't read some of the reviews before I went there, seems she's very aggressive with everyone

17/08/2025: Worst pad Thai I've ever eaten, if you could call it pad Thai! It was noodles with loads of chilli's in chilli sauce, with a few pieces of chicken and carrot. Don't waste your money.

02/08/2025: I ordered chicken pad thai to be delivered via deliveroo. And what i got was noodles drenched in red sauce. No peanuts. nothing compared to a pad thai. It was extremely appaling. I called the restaurant to check and the lady who picked the call didnt even apologize or try to offer a solution. All she said was "that is how we cook pad thai"!!! Disgusting food and service!

01/04/2025: This place has fallen from the best Chinese Takeaway to the Worst. Food is over priced and wasn’t nice. There seems to be a difference in chefs and food is hit and miss during the week Owners have become greedy with their pricing , quantity of food and quality. Wooden recommend it

30/06/2025: Ordered a takeaway consisting king prawn and cashew nuts in oyster sauce and chicken chow mein. Lots of prawns in the dish but sadly all of it was utterly tasteless. Threw most of it away.

19/05/2025: I visited here as a family of 2 adults & 2 children . My bill was 75 euro. There were no starters included and the 2 adults drank tap water only, and one fizzy drink each for the kids. The price of the rice and chips is added on afterwards so if you don't see the line at the bottom of the menu stating that, they are not included ( which I didn't until we went to pay) the price of your meal goes up by 4 euro per meal. Both rice and chips are 4 euro each so it doesn't make sense not to include them as I don't know who orders a Chinese dish without rice, chips or noodles. So in my case the chicken curry went from being 16.90 to 20.90. This should be pointed out to the customer when they are ordering it's a very sneaky way of raising their bill! The kids chicken nuggets are 9.90. Again very pricey for a plate of chips and unappetising looking nuggets. I've gotten lovely quality chicken goujons on kids menus before for less than this price! When we arrived in the place was empty we were the only sitting customers so maybe this should have being a red flag when it was a beautiful Sunday evening at 7.pm and you'd imagine it would be a bit busier with people having a meal before they went home for the evening. On a positive note my chicken curry tasted nice. I won't be visiting here again and unfortunately I won't recommend this place to anyone.

19/04/2025: the prawn crackers came uncooked and were not fried the fried rice was smelly and had a strange taste while i was waiting for my food i had paid and a cat came in through the door..it disgusted me it was my first time in castle island since i was travelling through castle island to get home to dublin. so i was hungry and decided to stop for food don't get me wrong castle island is a lovely rural irish town.. but this really let it down so unhygienic the noodles were hard! smelt of utter cow sh*t im sorry but never again animals roaming through a kitchen is disgraceful.. im sorry for this bad review and im not one to complain but when i asked the manager where my food was he decided to call me a fat bastard and to wait my turn and then started to aggressively rub his hands into his hair and let his dandruff into the frying pan and started touching my food with his hamds wouldnt even want to walk past that kip smells of pure poop too..

31/08/2025: Ordered €42 worth of food and the only part that didn’t go in the brown bin was the chips and prawn crackers. The chicken was like eating elastic, the satay sauce was like water and why you would put lettuce in the bottom of the tray is beyond me. The pork yuk sung smelt of urine and the lettuce was not fresh. Needless to say I won’t be ordering here again. So much better take aways in Swords.

04/08/2025: Ordered for delivery and answered the door when knocked and proceeded to say he was waiting 10 minutes when there was not a single knock at the door. Then proceeded the have the restaurant lady ring the phone down giving out about the delivery driver having to wait 10 minutes when no one knocked. The food was good but calling the phone to give out when your driver was taking the mick is an absolute joke.

30/07/2025: Food was delicious, thank you! The chips were crispy with not a single drop of oil! Everything was well cooked, delivery was fast and the driver was kind & smiley. Best Chinese I’ve had in a very very long time.

07/08/2025: Ordered for a take away this evening, for my wife, two children and I. I was shocked when told my Chinese was £106.50 and not £79.80. Apparently the menu on here is 5 years old, so dont make the same mistake. (Apparently they were aware) Despite this (after picking up a new menu on collection. New menu photo attached) I went over the prices and my order added up to £98.60. So not sure what happened here? Photo attached also (excuse the handwriting) After a long day and kids getting tired I didnt question it/or realise until I was home and finished eating. Aside from this I thought the food was below par. Lack of cucumber with the duck, pancakes stuck together and ripping (which ive not had before). Poor chicken satay. Abit bland and gloopy sauce(s) Did enjoy the House special fried rice though, on a plus side 👍🏻

01/08/2025: The food is very much an acquired taste, we had dinner for two for 33 euros, the amount of food was surprising, there really was a lot of it, the soup with corn and chicken was not bad, but very sweet and too hot to put it in a plastic container as it was served, it is not just harmful, it is very dangerous in plastic at such temperatures. All the other food is very strange, it is all as if in slime, it was very unpleasant to eat and impossible, the food was unpleasant, only rice was possible to eat and it is very strange that there are many tables in the establishment, but it is impossible to eat inside, I hope they will take into account all the comments and then it will be possible to come to this establishment again

06/09/2025: Well...First time there...Just we wanna try it... Never again... Singapore chow main- very pure and very saltly... Only two shrimps in a whole dish...Unidentified pieces of meat aswell...No much... Duck in plum sauce very chewy...No crispy at all...Looks like is made from old fat duck... Not enough time in owen to melt this fat... At least is cheap...And lady o the canter was nice and helpfull...

31/08/2025: Absolutely awful food everything deep fried cold aswel, old chips, worst Chinese food and extremely expensive! Stay clear
