10/01/2026: Of the €40 spent, everything except rice and chips was burnt. Could not stomach majority of it. Straight in the nearest bin. Didn’t even get everything I ordered - I won’t be returning.

14/02/2026: Said give it a go again after many years .Wrong sauce in my duck and side portion missing and no answer to phone. Lesson learned i will not be returning

14/04/2026: Yet another price increase. Totally not worth it. Food was substandard. Chips were obviously reheated. Interior needs a new coat of paint. Everything looks tired, I cannot understand how they keep raising the price despite the decline in overall food quality. Ridiculous

04/04/2026: Gone far too expensive now for what you get. My same order is 3€ cheaper in the red rice. I have been a very regular customer there for a long time and go into collect the same order once a week. It comes to 24.80 but they refuse to give me a small bag of free prawn crackers unless I spend 25€. I have even offered to make up the difference or even give a tip which would bring the order over 25€ but they won’t do it. Given I spend at €1000 a year in the place I find this incredible. The girl behind the counter would hardly look at you never mind say hello to you. Incredibly stingy and very poor customer service.

04/06/2026: I spent nearly 60 on my meals. The crispy chicken was harder than a rock—how long had it been fried? I really don’t know if the chef fell asleep. I’m not coming back again.

11/05/2026: Me and my wife had food poison from here. Thanks God we didn't give or child some of the food. Never again and if they keep carrying on like this probably will be close soon. Please if you have no other options but ordering from this place please do not give it to a child. Update. My mother in law got very sick too after eating from this place. We all had chicken.

18/04/2026: Had a anniversary meal with my friend they spilled a bottle of wine on me and they when complained I was told not to cry about it absolutely disgusting service avoid at all cost

14/05/2026: Generous portions, everything super hot and freshly cooked when we came to pick up. Ordered right before closing time too but they still made it work! Defo going back!

15/08/2026: I got a Lemon Tree munchy box delivered to my mates house so both of us can share. It cost 25 euros which is quite steep for the quality of food that was served. The curry and barbecue sauces were actually decent in fairness, but they lacked flavour. The munchbox was a bit of a disaster though, due to the chicken balls having a slimy texture to them, which ain't normal for any chicken ball, as they should be somewhat crunchy. The chicken was processed too, as it felt like jelly in your mouth, which needs to be sorted. There was also a lack of seasoning, in which it made the food somewhat tasteless. The spring rolls and chips tasted what was expected, so no complaints about that, and the ribs tasted decent, as the meat was not hard as a brick. I gave the service and atmosphere 0 stars as I did not go into the restaurant and i was not the one collecting the delivery. Sort your food out and maybe you might get more customers in the future. Thanks.

09/08/2026: Very disappointed we got 5 bags of spice bags and there was only 2 pieces chicken each in it. Was spoke to one of the staff about it but unfortunately he wasn't helpful at all. He told me this is normal. My question is why they charged you nearly €10 for a few chips.

05/05/2026: Very bad customer service. Placed an order on deliveroo. They confirmed the order and started preparing the food,but it never arrived. When called the restaurant the manager said he won't deliver and asked us to cancel the order as its far away. After almost an hour-wait for the food, our dinner was ruined. Not recommended.

05/05/2026: Delivery time shown 30mins on Deliveroo, placed order, order confirmed by restaurant, food being prepared by restaurant- 30mins later no update, rang the restaurant and was told it’s too far they can’t deliver, asked me to cancel the order. Why confirm the order in the first place? Why wait till the customer rings to inform you can’t deliver? Ridiculous!

05/07/2026: Sat down on my own ,empty restaurant, order starter and main course. Starter came but not what I ordered, main course was over half an hr later , wasn't good at all very greasy and the meat was tiny little pieces. Sorry won't be back.

18/07/2026: They claim to be premium. I ordered duck and received it in three minutes. You can't roast duck in three minutes. Besides, the duck looked like it had been bought fried and frozen. They just thawed it and microwaved it. It wasn't juicy. It was just a regular duck.

07/07/2026: Got takeaway from here last night and the quality has really declined over the years. We ordered a chicken curry and a sweet and sour chicken both sauces had a very gelatinous/gloopy texture that wasn't one bit appetising, also the rice was very mushy and not cooked properly. It's a shame to see the quality has gone downhill here as it was great before.

03/08/2026: Best spice bags in Navan, and possibly in Meath, best ones I've ever had. They're not dry or soggy spice bags like you'd get in some places, and the chicken is always really nice in these. If your not really big into Chinese, this place might change your view and the spice bags are definitely worth a try. I would highly reccommend this place for any Chinese food, it's my go-to takeaway and the service and food is always top tier.

25/05/2026: Very tasty, piping hot.. not too much sauce as requested on Chow mein. Only suggestion would be to have more vegetables in it. Spring rolls and wonton were crispy and delicious.

09/08/2026: Extremely Disappointing ,Serious Food Safety Concerns This was, without doubt, one of the worst takeaway experiences I have ever had. I had ordered from this restaurant before and even left a positive review because, at the time, everything seemed fine. Looking back, I now feel I was simply fortunate that nothing had gone wrong. Sadly, this will be the last time my family orders from here. Our order included roast duck with boiled rice, chicken chow mein, chow mein, chicken fried rice, spicy chicken fried rice and chicken curry. While serving the food at home, we discovered a fully cooked insect in one of the chow mein dishes. Even more concerning, my mother-in-law had already eaten part of her portion before we noticed the problem. During the meal, she also bit into what appeared to be a piece of metal wire, which left her feeling unwell and seeking medical advice. This made the whole situation extremely distressing for our family. Finding both a foreign object and an insect in the same order raises serious concerns about food preparation and quality control. From a customer’s perspective, it suggests that basic hygiene or inspection procedures may not have been followed. Unfortunately, this was not our first negative experience. Previous orders had arrived with missing items, food that was no longer hot, and issues with receiving the correct change. After discovering the contamination, we contacted the restaurant to request a refund for the food that had not been eaten. We were disappointed by the response. The staff were polite while taking the order, but once we explained the problem and requested a refund, their attitude changed noticeably, leaving us feeling that our concerns were not taken seriously. This experience has completely changed my opinion of this takeaway. It has left me questioning the standards of food handling and customer service. We were fortunate to discover the contamination before more of the food was eaten. Had we not noticed it, the outcome could have been much worse. In my opinion, the food is expensive for the quality provided, the customer service was disappointing, and this experience has left me with serious concerns about food safety. I will not be ordering from here again and cannot recommend it to others.

09/08/2026: Since this restaurant opened, I’ve occasionally ordered takeaway from here. Unfortunately, many of my experiences have been very disappointing. For example, if we don’t pay in cash, they force us to pay by card and charge extra fees. Even after payment, they never provide a receipt. In recent months, the food quality has clearly declined. The meals often arrive undercooked, the stir-fried dishes are burnt and emit a pungent, unpleasant smell. The chips are not fresh, seemingly reheated leftovers that were already spoiled. After eating, I often experience stomach discomfort the following day. Around 6 PM on several evenings in May and June 2025, I ordered two spicy meal boxes and some stir-fried dishes for myself and my girlfriend. She felt unwell within minutes of eating. The next morning, I woke up with severe stomach pain, to the point that I felt like I was dying. The symptoms were very clear — a case of mild food poisoning. I have already visited a doctor, and it is clear that the food caused the illness. This takeaway is challenging the authority of food safety and public health agencies — they clearly do not care about the safety or well-being of their customers. Selling spoiled or mishandled food is not only irresponsible, but also a serious threat to customers’ health, with the potential for severe consequences. I used to stay silent and tolerate the issues — but not anymore. To everyone reading this review: please do not order food from here. Just walking into this restaurant and opening one of their sealed containers, you can see the extremely poor hygiene conditions. They do not meet even the most basic sanitation standards. I deeply regret ever ordering from here. It was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. The doctor’s note clearly links our food poisoning to this takeaway. DO NOT EAT HERE. PROTECT YOUR HEALTH.
