09/05/2026: Got a takeaway tonight, chicken and sweetcorn soup and duck in plum sauce with fried rice. The duck was actually beautifully cooked. Nothing worked after that the chicken and sweetcorn soup was just so gloopy and lacking in flavour and the chicken had no real consistency of chicken. This is the first time I've ever been disappointed with chicken and sweetcorn soup in any Chinese ? The duck in Plum sauce was flavourless and no flavour in the fried rice, you couldn't even add soy sauce to enhance it. If flavour could've been added to it, it would've been very good because the duck itself was cooked perfectly. Very disappointing.

15/03/2026: Drove half an hour to the location , have ordered multiple times before , have had sit down meals multiple times before also,rang twice for collection and no answer , got there at 8:20pm and lady at desk told me I couldn’t order they are closed as a “special day” , this was advertised nowhere , really unprofessional for people travelling in to order and they did not seen apologetic . After years of attending I won’t be attending again .

28/10/2025: Always forgets a part of an order usually drinks or a side , rang them to say my prawn crackers were not in my bag from getting a delivery I was told over the phone “well there only prawn crackers” if I pay for something I expect to get it

16/01/2026: Absolutely disgusting service from Panda Tree. We ordered delivery and waited almost two hours, but it never arrived. No explanation, no apology — just a complete waste of time. I will never order from this place again.

25/12/2025: We had a booking for Xmas eve for 10 people, when we arrived were told, no booking, even though we had to pay €25 deposit. We just went in an sat down as we were not taking no for an answer, ( big mistake we should have walked away) place was empty… ( on Xmas eve not good sign) first meal arrived, then half a meal arrived( this was after over an hour waiting) another20 min or so b4 any more food came out. Only one young lad serving, taking orders and cleaning tables. Crispy duck came out soggy, was told if I wanted crispy duck meat would also be crispy… not so… I’ve had plenty crispy duck with skin crispy and meat tender.. if u can’t make crispy duck it should not be on the menu… but eventually 2 of us had to leave as meal had not arrived ( they had appointment) waiting so long they had to leave. Food was tasteless … disgraceful service, and not getting meals all together was just terrible, I’ve never experienced such terrible service.. and food… will never be returning here, I was so disappointed as we had changed to here for family Xmas eve meal and it was ruined… I’ll be returning to my original restaurant for next year… would not waste my money going here they have no idea how to run a good business… all the while we waited for our food to arrive at the table the take aways kept coming out and we were left waiting… very badly organised… expecting one boy to do all the running around .. food was tasteless… and duck ended up being cremated…

28/02/2026: Put in an order of over €100 tonight. The chicken and cheese rolls were disgusting, and they’re normally good. The chips were soggy and we ordered a portion of meat sung and we were given shreds of brown putrid leaves - it looked like it was left in the back of a fridge for a year. Pls avoid this place if you don’t want to 💀 early 🫶🫶

28/04/2026: The food and service was amazing. I had the Meat Sung and my daughter had the veggie satay. We both had Sesame prawn toast and it was unbelievable!

25/03/2026: Very bad food they didn’t listen to a word of my order this isn’t the first time either I even went into them in person and pointed at the vegetable option on the menu and they still put chicken in it… then also my order was sitting on the counter and was cold when I got home then also women was very rude I would not recommend your better off going to ballina

13/03/2026: Absolutely dreadful spice bag. There was more salt in it than anything else, like a crazy amount of salt. Very little chicken or onions no chilli's. The chicken balls are 85% dough with a sliver of chicken in the middle. This place wasn't bad a few years ago but has really, really gone down hill.

12/12/2025: Like all places in Carrick starts off well, then quality just goes down hill so quickly. Bought 3 spice bag yesterday, all 3 had stale tasting chicken and chips that tasted like the day before leftover thrown back in the oil and on top of that all 3 bag were so bland had no taste no flavor no seasoning no veg just stale old breaded chicken and chips. DISAPPOINTING. NEVER AGAIN

14/02/2026: Said give it a go again after many years .Wrong sauce in my duck and side portion missing and no answer to phone. Lesson learned i will not be returning

21/01/2026: We ordered 2 dinners both were watered down and it looked as if the veggies weren’t properly cooked. Ordered veggie spring rolls, they were however not veg as there was both meat and a shrimp in the roll. And there was a back blob in the boiled rice, I have no clue what that was.

01/01/2026: I wouldnt even give this place a 1 star only you have to give it something. Ordered from here got raw chicken in my spice bag. Said they would refund me but it never came back to my bank. Then had to ring up and argue with them over it and eventually they said i could come up and collect the refund in cash. Only giving €50 back and then had the audacity to tell me they wouldnt be taking anymore orderes from my adress 🤣🤣🤣 I would never order out of the shithole again anyway serving raw chicken two days before xmas aswell.

19/11/2025: Tiny portions and very expensive. Ordered a few times and they are miserable with the amount of food they give you.

04/06/2026: I spent nearly 60 on my meals. The crispy chicken was harder than a rock—how long had it been fried? I really don’t know if the chef fell asleep. I’m not coming back again.

11/05/2026: Me and my wife had food poison from here. Thanks God we didn't give or child some of the food. Never again and if they keep carrying on like this probably will be close soon. Please if you have no other options but ordering from this place please do not give it to a child. Update. My mother in law got very sick too after eating from this place. We all had chicken.

25/04/2026: Got a spice bag last night and shared it with a friend. We both felt very unwell after had stomach cramps and threw up. Awful

21/03/2026: I came here tonight for the second time to order a spice bag from Lee’s Kitchen, and unfortunately had the exact same issue again. Both times I asked for the fries to be lightly seasoned plus no spicy seasonings , and both times they came out extremely over-seasoned and very spicy. It wasn’t just a bit too much, it was overwhelming to the point where it made the food hard to eat and actually made me feel sick (see photos). The frustrating part is that the food itself is good, which makes this even more disappointing. It feels like specific requests just aren’t being listened to or taken seriously. After two identical experiences, I won’t be returning.
