30/08/2026: Ordered takeaway, food was hardly edible, portions were small and quality was poor, prices were higher than advertised on their online menu. Every little thing was charged. Total price was ridiciolusy high. I would not recommend this place to anyone, very disappointing.

12/07/2026: They are trying to be dog friendly. Just call a few hours ahead, talk to the owner and she may make arrangements for you to sit Ina cordoned off area.

19/07/2026: Reheated - a slide from average to poor. The spring rolls were perfect, but that's where it stops. The rest of the food has a feeling of bland reheated. Not worth a visit

30/06/2026: Food here is quite overpriced, portions are small as hell, go out as far as Balina, get some stuff from like The Lantern, Julan Julan, ect and you will get the same priced stuff that could last you 2 full meals. It is actually ridiculous. I've even heard the potential of getting some people sick from my own family members! I'm glad I haven't yet but it's a shame. The food is nice enough but they could do better on portions. Also staff can be quite rude, to my mother and grandmother made us walk back upto our house to get a around a single euro or 2 of missing change Update: Found a hair in my rice. Disgusting. And also are the chicken ball portions getting smaller I swear to god they are

21/08/2026: We arrived here as a group of six for a family meal for my sons 21st birthday…To say that this was the most uncomfortable dining experience we have ever had is an understatement purely because of the manager… she was dismissive, rude and ignorant from the moment we arrived and completely belittling to the waiting staff who she had total disregard for even though they were doing a great job, raising her eyebrows when we were giving our order, never once answered us back each time we said thank you with a you’re welcome… the most horrible atmosphere ever… all the staff even those on the front counter looked terrified of her, absolutely no manners whatsoever!!! We have been eating from here with delivery orders for a long time and thought it would be nice to dine in but after this experience we will never eat from here again!!! This is most certainly not a good way to be around customers as you really are letting the name of your restaurant down when this is the person that’s dealing with the public… I feel so sorry for the rest of the staff here as they could do very well working anywhere else and for someone else.

13/09/2026: The food is amazing, I was losing my faith in takeaways in Clonmel. I have a gluten allergy and the lady on the phone taking my order was so helpful and reassuring. I cannot recommend this place enough.

05/07/2026: Sat down on my own ,empty restaurant, order starter and main course. Starter came but not what I ordered, main course was over half an hr later , wasn't good at all very greasy and the meat was tiny little pieces. Sorry won't be back.

05/06/2026: This place takes cash and WeChat pay only. May be they can avoid paying taxes this way but will lose lots customers too.

14/05/2026: Generous portions, everything super hot and freshly cooked when we came to pick up. Ordered right before closing time too but they still made it work! Defo going back!

13/08/2026: We have being customers of Richards for years we are sadly done with them after this last meal. €60 for nothing but rubberised chicken the four of us had the same complaint chewy rubber like chicken. The rice is no longer packed to a honest level in the containers either. Also the satay sauce is gone to some sort of oily consistency in the last number of months so today we are finished for good. Goodbye Richards

21/09/2026: Ordered honey beef ribs.When delivered i couldn't wait to eat. On opening the container the smell of burnt charred meat was terrible. Even the honey at the bottom of the tray tasted burnt. I called them back and said they were burnt. The young man on the phone offered to send out a new one which I thought was brilliant until I got a call back with a message from the chef to say thats how the honey ribs are.......look, im not just having a moan i know what's burnt and what's not. I have also had plenty honey ribs elswhere and from Eastern Promise before where they are succulent and fine. I refused them to send out a new one because if a chef has to call a customer back to say thats how they come (burnt) then I don't want you to send me another order. Your own people would not be happy with that meal. Rainbow Garden it shall be from now on. Pleasant kid on the phone, bad chef in the kitchen

05/08/2026: Hopefully it was still opened when we crossed this amazing little village randomly. Delicious cuisine : we took chicken pineapple and chili beef with rice. Very good spot to take away!
