14/04/2026: Yet another price increase. Totally not worth it. Food was substandard. Chips were obviously reheated. Interior needs a new coat of paint. Everything looks tired, I cannot understand how they keep raising the price despite the decline in overall food quality. Ridiculous

04/04/2026: Gone far too expensive now for what you get. My same order is 3€ cheaper in the red rice. I have been a very regular customer there for a long time and go into collect the same order once a week. It comes to 24.80 but they refuse to give me a small bag of free prawn crackers unless I spend 25€. I have even offered to make up the difference or even give a tip which would bring the order over 25€ but they won’t do it. Given I spend at €1000 a year in the place I find this incredible. The girl behind the counter would hardly look at you never mind say hello to you. Incredibly stingy and very poor customer service.

27/05/2026: I genuinely wasn’t expecting to get one of the nicest Chinese meals I’ve had in a small village.The shared plater for two couldn’t be faulted.Everything on it tasted good. Then the mains. I’ve never seen the size or f these before. Absolutely huge and they were gorgeous. I would recommend it to anyone and will definitely be back next time I’m passing through.

13/05/2026: Well, i believe it’s been order to shut due to rodent infestation Corkbeo - Lily Restaurant was visited by an HSE health inspector on April 24, 2026, who ordered the premises to be closed for a period under the FSAI Act (1998). They noted issues, including "an active rodent infestation" and "the presence of rodent droppings."

16/01/2026: Poor customer service. Ordered a roast duckling with seasonings and spices from the starter section. After one taste, it was immediately clear that the dish was extremely salty. We returned to the shop straight away (we were still in the parking lot) with the food, and informed the staff that it was excessively salty. I also told them they were welcome to taste the dish themselves, as that was the reason I came back with the food. However, the staff refused to acknowledge the complaint or check the food. They insisted it was their “standard seasoning” and said we should specify “mild or strong” next time. There is no mention anywhere on the menu that spice or seasoning levels need to be specified. To be clear, the issue was not spice level — it was excessive saltiness, which made the dish inedible. Very disappointing response and lack of basic customer care. Will not be returning.

25/01/2026: Good food but quality not what it used to be and prices have increased dramatically over the last couple of years , been going here for many years and it was our favourite Chinese Restaurant.. but seriously needs a revamp as it's looking tired now , carpets worn and toilets aren't great , nothing done to it in over 20 odd years and it shows unfortunately.

19/06/2026: Don’t ever order off this Chinese, I have ordered a number times and I don’t eat vegetables so my order would be a chicken curry with no veg and boiled rice. I got a number of times with veg and rang them and told them and they would aurgue with you on the phone about it but they will say you get a free order next time in the end. I was then told they don’t take card over the phone anymore so it has to be done on there app, fair enough the app leaves you a cheff order and it came correct the first time second time full of veg and I will not eat it no matter what if there is veg! I rang them and they will not take back or send another one due to their fault! I will never again order . I pay 7euro delivery to carrigtowhill which is 5mins away and they will not refund me . And as far I know working with public the customer is right but there always against this! Delivery driver told me that they done this several times tonight and that was just one night. I will never again order off this crowd and I always gave in and order again but never again!!! 25euro it’s costing me for chicken curry no veg and boiled rice When I told him go back on my order from the 14th of June today is 19th of June and the order on the 14th of June was perfect and I cannot see on my receipt a chef order he tried to say but we are talking about today but if it doesn’t say it on the 14th why should it say on the 19th. Completely shocking the way they carry on& the order thrown in the bin!

14/05/2026: Generous portions, everything super hot and freshly cooked when we came to pick up. Ordered right before closing time too but they still made it work! Defo going back!

01/03/2026: I ordered a quarter aromatic duck from here yesterday and when I got home I was genuinely shocked to find it was completely burnt. The duck was black, dry, and so overcooked it was totally inedible. This wasn’t a case of it being slightly overdone, it was severely charred and should never have left the kitchen. What’s most concerning is that someone had to see the state of that duck before packaging it. There is no way the condition of it wasn’t obvious. Sending out food that badly burnt shows a serious lack of care, quality control, and basic standards. The other dishes I ordered were acceptable but entirely forgettable, and certainly not good enough to make up for the main item being inedible. I genuinely don’t understand how any chef or kitchen could knowingly put blackened, burnt duck into a carton and hand it to a paying customer. It suggests a complete disregard for both customers and the restaurant’s own reputation.

10/01/2026: Of the €40 spent, everything except rice and chips was burnt. Could not stomach majority of it. Straight in the nearest bin. Didn’t even get everything I ordered - I won’t be returning.

11/04/2026: Ordered the veg chow mein twice (just to be sure) in the last month, and they've changed the noodles and the sauce. Very sad, noodles are thick and the sauce has a ketchup taste. Ive always loved it but its not good now. Their curry sauce is lovely though, thank god that hasn't changed. The prices have also gone up a lot recently.

01/12/2025: I’ve never left a google review before but the chicken in this place was so bad I feel obligated to warn anybody else who tries ordering from here to Stay Away. I got the ginger and spring onion chicken and it was genuinely inedible and cost nearly 13 quid.

05/05/2026: Very bad customer service. Placed an order on deliveroo. They confirmed the order and started preparing the food,but it never arrived. When called the restaurant the manager said he won't deliver and asked us to cancel the order as its far away. After almost an hour-wait for the food, our dinner was ruined. Not recommended.

05/05/2026: Delivery time shown 30mins on Deliveroo, placed order, order confirmed by restaurant, food being prepared by restaurant- 30mins later no update, rang the restaurant and was told it’s too far they can’t deliver, asked me to cancel the order. Why confirm the order in the first place? Why wait till the customer rings to inform you can’t deliver? Ridiculous!
