14/07/2025: Worst Spice Bag I've had, why bother calling it a spice bag when there is 0 spice? I found 3 tiny pieces of veg, all the other veg was substituted by a hair I found stuck to a piece of chicken.

04/05/2025: Ordered spice bag. Utter waste. Got chips with some chicken pieces. No veg added. If they gave me the salt separate i would have added how much needed. So salty had to waste half portion of the food. No more attempt from this shop.

07/07/2025: I ordered delivery and it came very fast and the food was hot and lovely

17/05/2025: Hadn't ordered from here in over a year before tonight. I stopped because of price, not quality... The food was always excellent. Just got ribs tonight and they were as dry as the Sahara desert. Almost like they were kept warm for hours in a dry oven and just had the sauce added before collection. very disappointing and not what I expected based on past experiences. Sorry to say, but I won't be back

16/03/2025: I've never been to Boyle and my daughter wanted chinese. So with a search online the neatest place was 22 minute drive away. I rang and booked a table. When we arrived the exterior was beyond rough looking, and we drove around to see somewhere else to eat. Arrived back and said look if not good we will just leave. Up the steep staircase, and went to a nice warm small restaurant. Our table was over looking the river. The food was AMAZING, FRESH AND SO TASTY . I would recommend

23/02/2025: Absolutely horrible starters was ok mains the duck was like rubber no taste the curry was like water and the chicken was black we eat it one hour ago and the three of us have stomach aches I definitely do not recommend and I would advise anyone to stay far away it’s dirt and a rip off if you could eat it you would not mind the price but we didn’t touch the duck or chicken and still got charged told them it was bad and for no satisfaction

21/02/2025: Food was lovely with previous owner's, and I have to say I taught it got better with the new owner's, very tasty, that is, when they get your order correct, 2 delivery's in a row now, they sent out a munchie box with no seasoning at all, very bland and tasteless, we ordered online and stated clearly to make sure it had plenty of seasoning, please try and get your customers orders correct, you obviously need someone who can read English and understand the orders, they did offer to send a free one the next time we order, which is something I suppose, I guess we will have to wait and see if the seasoning is included, it's not a munchie box without seasoning in my opinion unless that's what your into.....🤦 i will have no problem upgrading my review in time if our orders are as placed, thanks

17/06/2025: Food came out five minutes after we ordered ,chicken was so dry it was cooked for a long time and deep fried again and coated in sauce ,so poor ,head waiter needs to learn how to smile and greet guests properly,very poor waiter We had sweet & sour chicken ,baby back ribs ,Chinatown beef & Cantonese duck ,the drinks weren't even on the table when the sweet n sour chicken balls came out and the ribs ,which was poor to be honest all dishes were poor and lacked flavour ,the hina town beef was suppose to have five spice in it ,it was no existent the chicken balls were grey inside & dry which meant they were cooked for ages and re cooked again in fryer & sauced up,Duck was over cooked and dry, I paid up to €80 for food that was very poor & the head waiter didn't help with his attitude like he didn't want to be there at all

23/05/2025: From ordering to the delivery 1h 15mins. A bit ridiculous for a Chinese takeaway.. Originally showed on the app as delivered at 7.10pm when in fact it was either still in transit or forgotten about. As I ordered through the justeat, at least I could get just eats help and suddenly magically it updated app to inform that there's a delivery delay. Finally got my food at 7.35pm after ordering it at 6.12pm. Food itself is nice, but I'd prefer to have it still hot when delivered rather than lukewarm..

18/01/2025: Collected a takeaway and arrived home to discover the fried rice was burned, chips were reheats and over cooked, chicken was cremated, called to make a complaint about the shoddy food received and was met with an irate chef roaring and shout down the phone, never again would I eat out of this place !! Disgusting and rude.

06/12/2024: i oredered a spice bag after a grueling day a work until. I opened the spice bag and found john pork. He winked at me and blew a kiss, he then jumped out and morphed into his true form, I couldn't believe my eyes. My hero jhonny pork was here, he took my hand and kissed it like the prince he is. I blushed he then took us onto a white horse, we had a bunch of slurpy kisses and had a sword fight with our weiners while we rode into the sunset.

01/03/2025: On a weekend trip to Letterkenny, some friends and I ordered off the menu from this restaurant, much to my demise. Between five of us, we spent over sixty euro-worth of food to be delivered to a house not far from the location. I will say fair play for the delivery driver getting here much sooner than the estimated delivery time. However, we began to unpack the delivery, and soon realised we were missing food - at least two meals. I phoned the restaurant to let them know of the error, hoping as it wasn’t long delivered that the driver may still be close and be able to drop off what was missed, possibly in the back of their car. The staff member who I spoke to told me that my food was on the way, I reassured her that the driver had already been but we were still missing some food. I was then told all the food was definitely ordered and in the delivered cardboard receptacle. I had to reissue my point that the box was now empty and there were still meals missing from our inventory. The member of staff raised her voice over the phone, often repeating the words, “100% the food is there, I seen it with my own eyes.” This first telephony conversation lasted around five minutes, and clear to both parties it was going no where. The member of staff at Money Tree then ended the call. Following this, there were three more phone calls to have similar conversations. I am generally a glass-half-full-type of person and give everyone the benefit of the doubt, however I was at the end of my tether after my experience with Money Tree, and have never felt so gas-lit by a hospitality industry. As I told Money Tree, they will not be receiving my custom again.

21/04/2025: Horrendous takeaway, waited far too long for the food as there seemed to only be 1 worker, never go there if you are in a rush as the wait time was 40mins to 1 hour.

21/06/2025: Ordered a takeaway at 8pm was told it was going be an hours wait time two hours later rang restaurant still no sign of takeaway and said it would be another 20 minutes and they wouldn't refund my card they said I would have to go into the takeaway to get my refund would not recommend seriously bad service

26/04/2025: Worst Chinese I have ever had, spring rolls had spam in!!! Very expensive for very poor food!!! Would never go there again
