21/05/2024: I just have to say something now. The pizzas are getting smaller and more expensive. Deals only come with 2 toppings on each pizza now and are more expensive than before, which makes no sense to me. they give you far less chips and onion rings than they used to in a deal and in the box.. I mean like 50% less at least compared to when I first ordered from apache. Some sides arrived half burnt again recently and the pizzas were just not as good as before. Apache Hollyhill is steadily going downhill. I am very disappointed now as I used to look forward to ordering from apache. Not so much anymore. There is really no need to overcharge like this.. toppings, chips and onion rings do not cost an arm and a leg. Time to look elsewhere for food for family night.

20/10/2024: Had been looking forward to going here. Had the roast beef on sourdough and wad so disappointed. Seemed like I got the ends of the roast, overcooked and chewy. It was coated in balsamic which was sickly and there was a token slice of cheese and some leaves. €11.50 for a sandwich was an absolute rip off. Would not return

25/07/2024: The owner of this company Kevin has asked me to take down my review.. what a disgrace the way they treat staff.. you have to be on your phone all day doing nothing or a lickh*le to get respect. Nothing for good workers.

15/09/2024: I'm not sure why, but the toffee latte here is consistently really awful. It's delicious in Douglas McDonald's, though. Worth sorting! There's also never any paper for receipts in the self service order screens.

30/04/2024: I worked one morning in this cafe and the truth is that it leaves a lot to be desired. Firstly, said work was not paid, with the excuse that it was a trial day. Secondly, they invent reasons which are not real when it comes to giving feedback on the work done. Thirdly AND THE MOST IMPORTANT FOR YOU READERS, the coffee they serve is poorly made and does not meet the standards which are the following: 1) temperature, if the milk in a coffee reaches boiling point or close to it, the milk It loses its nutritional qualities and becomes a laxative. 2) the handlers at your cafe do not clean the water dispenser after using it, which is why you drink burnt and over-extracted coffee from a previous customer.

26/08/2024: I went in at 7 o’clock on a Saturday and it was super busy. I got in, ordered, paid and got my food in less than 20 minutes. They’re all super friendly and all the food was piping hot. One of my best experiences ever, I love this takeaway.

29/08/2024: The food was pretty good but the curry I received (Thai green) was a lot more liquidy than a normally one. My special requests for extra extra spicy was upheld which I really appreciate. Cost wise, I was surprised that a medium curry (prawn) and a can of diet coke was just under 18€. That said, the food was piping hot and it was incredibly flavoursome and the ingredients insanely fresh. Service was great, the two girls manning the order station were both really nice and very helpful. Atmosphere was a bit strange, the door was left open and the place was completely freezing as a result. Myself and a number of other diners took refuge in the left hand side section of the dining space to try and avoid the draft. Music could be a tiny bit louder as I could hear a couple arguing quietly near me, with the girl in the couple advising her partner she felt ripped off and he should make up a complaint so they could get free stuff by way of compensation. I appreciate that isn't the restaurant's fault, but the place is so quiet it's weird being able to hear other people's conversations so clearly. Will be back to get take away options for sure but reluctant to do dine in again based on how cold and how quiet the place was. Really hope that they might consider keeping the door closed over to keep heat in, and increasing volume of background music so you don't accidentally overhear other people's conversations. Overall, if you're going to pick up a decent take away, definitely spot to hit up.
