Murphy’s has been a family go to for years and years. I’ve started going back recently.
I can’t understand why they won’t salt and vinegar the food while it’s hot out of the oil. The sloppy foley was a 10/10, but with the lack of salt and vinegar chips inside it, it’s easily brought down to at 6/10.
Please bring back the use of salt and vinegar behind the counter. Sachets are no good.

Was there the other night and put 26 on 20 and it hit but the girl gave me back 25 chip and left 1 euro chip on the number and said the word 25. i didnt understand what she meant so i was about to ask and the ball was spinning and the 20 hit and I was told that I was told but it was confeusing.
after a while i waited in confeusion and asked the table in charge guy and he was just rude and said he couldnt do anything yet what they should have done was paid 25 on the number and said well give you back the 1 euro chip as you could only bet 26 which i found out after.
staff were rude and id avoid the place if you want to be robbed.

15/02/2025: We placed the order through their website and it was super simple. We arrived in 15 minutes and they already had our order ready! The girls who attended us were very friendly.
Regarding the food, we ordered the cheese burger, the chicken pita bread, a small pizza and a garlic and cheese bread and it was more than enough for two people.
Everything was very very good and the price is quite affordable.
I definitely recommend it and would order there again!
27/12/2024: Love the place! Delivery drivers are gents 👏 if a mistake is made with the order, which is rare, they'll sort it in no time at all.

03/01/2025: Ordered food for delivery on the website which I’ve done numerous times in the past without any hassle.
The restaurant proceeded to ring and demand an extra five euro in cash or otherwise they wouldn’t deliver my food? This has to be illegal, could hear the delivery driver saying “this is bullshit” on the phone too. He also told the girl on the phone that where we lived was “ages away” which it isn’t obviously because the website allowed us to order it, and it had charged us €5 already for delivery.
Used to order from here all the time but I’m going to order from Lucianos now instead.

Please visit some other good Indian Food restaurant in cork and you better skip this

14/02/2025: The bar staff kept skipping songs half way through - absolutely ruins the atmosphere.
26/01/2025: Went for bottomless brunch. I will give credit that the drinks actually felt bottomless even with it being quite busy however, the chicken and waffles I got was a pretty small portion and the chicken was dry and just felt like it was in the freezer for a long time and the waffle was so dry it would get caught in my throat. In the past the food here used to be exceptional. Really disappointed that the quality has really gone downhill
