06/08/2025: Had such a lovely day out recently with my mom for some lunch, really nice vibe, friendly staff and good food and coffee ☕️ dealt with a lovely girl at the till Courtney, very helpful when I had questions about the menu as I’m a picky eater 😅

04/03/2025: Terrible, I ordered a lamb kebab with only lettuce and garlic sauce, I talked three times to the attendant, and he in front of me told the boy, and even so they gave me a kebab with all the ingredients, a lot of incompetence. I don't recommend it.

11/02/2025: Good fried chicken restaurant. Alternative for KFC. I would say better than KFC. Unfortunately last time I went to this restaurant they stopped Chicking. Now as an alternative they started pizza and shawarma. And also they sell South Indian dishes. South Indian dishes are the best. Need to try.

17/12/2025: Below average! I was served a doner from a day before (if not older hopefully) with attitude! A shame for Turkish doner restaurants especially in a city like Cork.

14/12/2025: Omg I've eaten in here for years in Dublin Kilkenny etc this was worst service and food tbh food lyingng in the shoot for ages asian girl very nice in fairness kept taking orders not bagging up food while 5 lads in the back looking at her I don't complain tbh but lads come get your house in order simples and my my food was cold and there's more salt ce than taco mince which is disappointing

30/08/2025: Very good coffee shop and very good for a morning stop for breakfast and to drink a quality coffee. I really liked the coffee. I'm a fan of good coffee and I know what good coffee and bad coffee are, and here you have quality. Congratulations on transforming this place into a very high-quality coffee shop, above average, despite the competition not liking it and trying to say otherwise, but time is the best thing to put to the test. I highly recommend it; you won't leave here unsatisfied.

06/06/2025: Cafe is small and seating cramped, decor a bit depressing. Coffee was OK though the cappuccino was very milky . There are better coffee shops around for the same price.

12/10/2025: Went to the Brasserie Bar, and it was great. The vibe was just okay, initially I felt a bit bored. But the service made me really happy, especially thanks to Aisling and Vitor. They were amazing, so friendly and made me feel comfortable. They truly made the night easy and fun.Definitely a go-back spot for a drink and a good chat!

30/09/2025: Nice very clean chip shop in Cork. Staff here were friendly. These were probably the best chips I've had in a few years. The chicken fillet burger was good too, nice and crispy. The only thing that wasn't that good were the mushy peas. They were a bit watery and didn't taste of much, so I probably wouldn't have those again. I definitely recommend this place for a good feed if you're in the northside of the city.

27/09/2025: We went there on a Sunday but turns out it was closed.

27/09/2025: Went there last night. We enjoyed the food but I think I got food poisoning, as that same night I woke up with severe tummy pain and afterwards I vomited non stop until I’ve nothing to vomit anymore. Should I be contacting them to inform them of my ordeal?

03/09/2025: Why I hadn’t tried this before , I don’t know ! Had heard of the breast in a bun, but just thought it’d be cheap rubbish . Turned out it was a lovely fillet breast in delicious seasoning . I liked it so much, i went out searching for it the following day (and minus beers haha) and it was just as good ! 😋

09/08/2025: Closed Sunday Bank Holiday. Joke Downhill last 5 years. August 2025 at midnight no chicken left... No chicken, in Hillbillys. Closes before 12.30 too. This used to be open till after 2am.

13/10/2025: I have been getting Apache (Burgerhut Hollyhill) for a good few years. When the food is good, it's really enjoyable. But the food isn't always good (particularly the chips), and as a consequence, I feel the need, to write a review, in the hope, it will encourage Apache, to make some improvements. When ordering chips from Apache, staff will often serve you chips, that have been lying in the tray, for God only knows how long, mixed in with some freshly cooked chips.. Can I ask Apache management, why serve customers, old cooked chips, mixed in with fresh cooked chips..???? Its a very mean act, and I have to throw these chips in the bin, as they are hard & horrible. Why mix old, hard, precooked chips, that have been lying in the tray, with fresh cooked chips, and then serve them to a customer..?? Customers, should only be served, FRESHLY COOKED CHIPS..!! Can I ask Apache management, why you don't automatically serve your pizza's box's, in a paper bag..? If a customer orders a pizza, they may have to walk for 15 or 20 minutes, to get home. Carrying the pizza box, with no bag, means the Pizza, will lose a lot of heat, and the pizza can be cold, when the customer gets home. Also why don't you automatically serve the donor box, and chicken spice box, in a paper bag..? Again, these food boxes, are cold, by the time a customer walks home. Also the donor & chicken spice box, can leak sauce, which can destroy a car seat (if the customer is driving home) The stout, middle aged, short haired lady, that works in Apache, gets a bad pain, if a customer asks for a bag, to put a pizza box in, or donor/chicken spice box into.. Can I ask Apache management, to please supply, proper fitting, paper bags, and to offer them to customers, who are being served food, served in a box. Its really frustrating, having to continuously ask staff, for a proper fitting paper bag, to carry pizzas and spice boxes home in. I must say, most of the staff, are very obliging, when you ask them for a bag, with the exception, of the stout, middle aged, short haired lady, who always seems, to always have an issue, and an excuse, when a customer asks for a bag. If Apache, could introduce a policy, of not serving old, precooked chips to customers, and sort out the issue of supplying customers, with proper fitting, brown paper bags, to customers ordering food in boxes, (Particularly the issue, the stout, middle aged, short haired lady has, of placing food boxes into a paper bag) I will come back and give an up to date review. 08/06/2025: Go to place for good pizza. They have amazing options of pizza and you can customize your pizzas as well. You should order double deal pizza which has 2 large pizza at a stealing price. Good for a big gathering party.

26/10/2025: I ordered a chicken pizza but received what can only be described as an egg shell pizza. There was a big chunk of egg shell baked right into it....completely disgusting! I reported it to Deliveroo, but got no reply and no refund. Pathetic customer service and horrible food quality. Don’t waste your money here. If I could, I’d give this place a negative rating instead of zero.

24/08/2025: Customer service is a disgrace told to go order somewhere else because a trainee mixed up the order. Asked could i get chicken and large pizza combo at the start of the call which i was told yes i could. Then told it wasn't possible so had to speak to someone else who didn't want to listen to what i had to say and told me go order elsewhere.

21/11/2025: This food is gorgeous and the staff and the owner are really nice really nice place to get food, will be going back again next time we are in Cork, thanks for making us so welcome, and for looking after my sister who just came out of hospital! Thank you.

02/11/2025: Let's start with the fact that a place called Ramen doesn't have ramen on the menu. The only dish with "ramen" in the name is the one in the photo. It tasted like overcooked instant noodles with chicken and vegetables. As for the staff, they don't care at all. The girl continued chatting with a colleague even after she saw me approach the counter. The guy doesn't know what ramen is, so I had to explain it to him. He eventually said the dish in the photo is ramen, which is simply ridiculous. The atmosphere is completely inconsistent with the Asian setting. It's a simple eatery with indifferent staff and low-quality food.

29/10/2025: Be careful with closing hours was told at 20:15 had to order for takeaway as they were under staffed (we’re quite pushy about making that point) we clarified with them about their opening hours and they stated they’re closing early. The food is good but was let down by service. Has never been an issue previously.

17/11/2025: The staff was rude and the customer service was terrible. I had to beg the waiter to come to my table. The wings were so heavily salted that I burned my entire mouth, to which they replied, "You could have asked for less salt." None of us knew the salt content beforehand. It was impossible to eat, and we were forced to pay for it. I'm pregnant, and I was very upset that immediately after my complaint, the entire staff started yelling and complaining. We paid for something we couldn't eat due to the chef's fault.

09/10/2025: Great place and delicious food for really little money. I recommend it to everyone.

02/07/2025: This is our place to drink our coffee, we like they give us a card and we can get a free one occasionally. I don't understand why they can't let us have a cold coffee for free like they do with the hot coffees. Also they should ask if we are drinking in there or to take out. We get plastic recipients when we are staying in the place, it should be nice to have the right one when we are in the area.
