03/09/2025: Why I hadn’t tried this before , I don’t know ! Had heard of the breast in a bun, but just thought it’d be cheap rubbish . Turned out it was a lovely fillet breast in delicious seasoning . I liked it so much, i went out searching for it the following day (and minus beers haha) and it was just as good ! 😋

09/08/2025: Closed Sunday Bank Holiday. Joke Downhill last 5 years. August 2025 at midnight no chicken left... No chicken, in Hillbillys. Closes before 12.30 too. This used to be open till after 2am.

14/02/2025: Very friendly staff and good service but food wasn’t good. Pasta al limone was inedible because it was so bitter and the tiramisu was frozen in the middle. Disappointing.

08/02/2025: recently visited Don gregorio, a fresh pasta spot in the city, with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was a mixed bag. I ordered the spicy pasta with guanciale, and I was disappointed to find that the dish didn’t include any guanciale at all. The pasta itself was clumped together, likely because it wasn’t loosened enough with sauce, and the sauce lacked flavor. For a restaurant specializing in fresh pasta, this was a letdown. On a positive note, the **mortadella focaccia** was excellent—well-prepared and flavorful. The **coffee and cannoli** were also highlights of the meal, and I’d definitely recommend them. One frustration was missing out on the **ragu special**, which is one of my favorites. I wasn’t informed about it by the staff but overheard the waiter telling other customers. It would have been nice to have been given the same opportunity to try it. Overall, while there were some bright spots, the inconsistency in the food and service left me underwhelmed. I might give it another try in the future, but for now, I’d recommend sticking to the appetizers and desserts.

08/06/2025: Go to place for good pizza. They have amazing options of pizza and you can customize your pizzas as well. You should order double deal pizza which has 2 large pizza at a stealing price. Good for a big gathering party.

10/10/2025: Food nothing special — I don’t know where they’re from, but here in Ireland, we usually say thank you when someone buys something from us. It’s called manners.

16/09/2025: They don’t wash their vegetables properly, I even found a live bug in my salad. When I told them about it, they just said, ‘Okay, put your tray in the tray station,’ without even looking at what I was showing them. Their reaction made it seem like they’re used to this happening.

28/08/2025: Food is good and the staff are amazing! Went to see the Naked Gun and I had the best service at any place that sells food in my life. I hope they get a raise.

02/10/2025: Sorry to say but this has gone down hill. Used to love this place, was always consistently great but the last 3 times I've visited its been poor, on this most recent occasion the Chicken meat was poor and are the chips getting skinnier?Looks like meat from the Chicken Thigh, bring back the Mini Fillets or even use Breast Meat, prices are too high for what it is now, had to leave it behind as it was inedible. Good luck, would love to see this place back serving fantastic food again 👍

04/03/2025: Terrible, I ordered a lamb kebab with only lettuce and garlic sauce, I talked three times to the attendant, and he in front of me told the boy, and even so they gave me a kebab with all the ingredients, a lot of incompetence. I don't recommend it.

11/02/2025: Good fried chicken restaurant. Alternative for KFC. I would say better than KFC. Unfortunately last time I went to this restaurant they stopped Chicking. Now as an alternative they started pizza and shawarma. And also they sell South Indian dishes. South Indian dishes are the best. Need to try.

12/06/2025: Order take away. Food delivered promptly but it was truly awful. Covered in sugar and salt...crunchy and inedible the snack box. Then the chicken fried rice had some gelatinous cubes of God knows what in it. It certainly wasn't chicken. I like to know what is in my food. It's very expensive food to have to throw it away. What was the gelatinous cubes I don't know....gave me the ick. Sorry won't be buying from here again.

04/05/2025: Went for a meal here tonight with my partner , we were the only ones sitting down to eat in there , prices are expensive enough everything was seperately priced on the menu wasnt made aware of if they offered a set menu per person for some much or not , we got the combi tray platter to start with for two people to share was too much food on it for 2 people if we had known we would have just got it for 1 person and shared it for main course i ordered crispy shredded chicken in sweet sour and chilli sauce with boiled rice , the rice was the nicest part of it the chicken part came served in a white cereal bowl where the veg and sauce was in the bottom of the boel and the chicken completely dry was sitting on top so you could tell the chicken hadnt been cooked in the sauce and there was very little sauce in the bowl it was more like a portion of salt & chilli chicken had been put on top of the sauce in the bowl was given no plate or bowl of prawn crackers like you would usually get in a chinese , my partner got the chi chi chicken it was meant to be a mix of chicken and pork he said the pork was more like pieces of spam we didnt like or enjoy it at all i know all chinese restaurants can differ with food but this one was a no for us .

07/09/2025: I had a strawberry milkshake, It was disgusting, too much milk no strawberry flavour at all, Very liquidity, never going there again The staff were fairly stressed out, Not a great atmosphere there , €10 for two cold drinks, Ridiculous!

14/06/2025: Nos alojamos en el hotel y terminamos comiendo aquí varias veces - cada comida era consistentemente delicioso! Se puede pedir en el restaurante o en el menú del bar, y ambos ofrecen fantásticas opciones. El curry tailandés amarillo era absolutamente fenomenal, rico, sabroso y bellamente equilibrado. El pescado y las patatas fritas estaban perfectamente crujientes, y las patatas fritas fueron algunas de las mejores que hemos tenido. ¿Pero el sobresaliente? La costilla de res irlandesa — tierna, jugosa y babosa — ¡digna! Como alguien que no tiene gluten, me emocionó ver un montón de opciones claramente marcadas sin gluten en los menús principales. La única pequeña desventaja eran los limitados postres sin gluten, pero la calidad de todo lo demás lo compensaba con creces. El servicio fue excepcional en todo momento - amable, profesional y atento. El lugar en sí es cómodo y decorado con buen gusto, por lo que es un gran lugar para relajarse y disfrutar de una comida. Recomiendo encarecidamente si se aloja en el hotel o simplemente en busca de una buena comida en la zona!

03/06/2025: No estábamos listos para lo buena que era esta comida. El trampolín de The Kingsley nos dejó boquiabiertos, con las manos abajo la mejor comida que hemos probado. Declaración audaz, pero nos atenemos a ella. ¿Los sabores? Perfecto. ¿El chapado? Gorgeous. ¿La experiencia? Inolvidable. Volveríamos a Cork solo para comer aquí de nuevo, sin duda. Como vegano y aficionado a la comida sin gluten, estoy acostumbrado a la rutina de “puedes tomar la ensalada”. ¡Pero aquí no! El menú de Springboard estaba claramente etiquetado, súper inclusivo y lleno de opciones que eran realmente emocionantes y deliciosas. Sin compromisos, solo sabor de nivel próximo. El ambiente era elegante sin ser congestionado, con unas vistas preciosas del río Lee que configuraban el escenario perfecto para una cena romántica (o en nuestro caso, una segunda onda de luna de miel 💕). Si tuviéramos una pequeña nota — tomó un poco de esfuerzo llamar la atención de un servidor y las cosas se movieron lentamente a veces. ¿Pero honestamente? La comida era tan ridículamente buena, que no nos importaba. Vale cada segundo. ¿En resumen? El trampolín es imprescindible. Venga por la comida, quédese a disfrutar de la vista y salga soñando con lo que pedirá la próxima vez. Porque confía en nosotros, habrá una próxima vez. ¡Volaríamos de Canadá a Irlanda solo para comer aquí de nuevo!

05/10/2025: The pizza is good, not great but for a quick bite this is the please. They have a few seats inside but it's better to takeaway and eat somewhere nice outside or at home.

03/10/2025: The best you can get in Cork City for take away pizza and for big orders delivery hot food wherever you are this is real, big orders not a problem.!!! Toppings classe A mozzarella cheese good tomato sauce proper sauce not watering very important the tomato sauce ( try eat pizza base without proper tomato sauce and tell me after) There are burgers here in Wilton too. For me the best pizzas from four star are made in Wilton probably have the best dough but all four star in town have the same policy serving all customers with education very high quality and high standards, I can see all that. Congratulations to all workers just a good team can do amazing things, very good job doing here.

20/07/2025: Loved our visit to Brendan's Burritos & The Black Market with a group from our summer camp. Everyone had a great time and loved the atmosphere/ venue. Fantastic service from the Burritos Staff, especially looking after a big hungry group. Nachos and Quesadillas were fab and great for sharing. So fresh & tasty! And then the best surprise of all.... Amazing Milkshakes for dessert. Will be back!!

19/07/2025: Lovely staff but food was disappointing. No veg, sauces were bland, meat was over cooked. Tucos is the standard.

16/06/2025: I received the delivery from this store. It was not the first time I ordered. This time I received terrible food. The duck was bad and without sauce at all.. The soup was disgusting.. There was a lot of vinegar and it tasted like a rotten lemon. We called, talked about the problem.. We were offered a discount of 5 euros for the next order. We replied that there would be no next order.. And that we will bring this food and return it to them.. We were told that the cook has been working there for 30 years, and that all the food is prepared at once and according to one recipe.. We brought the food back, we got a refund for the food, but they didn't get it back for the delivery.. The evening is ruined, there are hungry 🤷‍♀️
