The best restaurants in Cork city council

25/09/2024: We went for my birthday. All happy with our food. All full. Service always great

19/09/2024: Just got a takeaway from Tung Sing Chinese in Blarney and it was awful. Noodles tasted like they were cooked yesterday and the crispy chili chicken was mostly just crispy batter, no sauce, and chili was non existent. Never again. Would not recommend to anyone. Order 2334130152,-1

28/10/2024: Likely the worst McDonald’s in Ireland. Dirty regularly. Bins over flowing. Tables left uncleaned for ages. Then the food. The orders are frequently provided with something missing? Pay for a sauce you’d better check you got it before you leave? Assume you got serviettes? Check because they are frequently not given. If your kid dares want the book option with their happy meal then you’ll still get a toy. Broken seating. Tablets for kids gone. Play area for kids gone. Oh and if you select eat in the machine offers table service but of course they’ve hidden the numbers so they can’t be arsed to provide. Then all food comes packed for takeaway which is a green issue. There is McDonald’s France using reusable items and here’s McDonald’s Ballincollig handing out unnecessary packaging. No separation in the bins either so assume everything goes to landfill. Oh also if you dare to need a tray you have to ask and mass confusion ensues. Highly unusual request to want a tray to get to your table. Just bad.

26/10/2024: Toilets are very dirty. Not good for a restaurant. Needs a proper manager.

02/10/2024: Great place, amazing staff and management, epic food and cheap beers and always unbelievably clean, without a doubt I high end establishment

18/10/2024: Very good food and quality. Only reason a 3 for atmosphere is the place was currently only open for delivery and take away at the time.

09/08/2024: The staff and management were very friendly but the food was served in takeaway containers. The ingredients were fresh but it wasn't great.

05/09/2024: Unfortunately the resturaunt has gone downhill in recent months / years. Service has gone extremely slow, large chips are now the size of a small chips. Hard to understand that all dinos are the one chain when the difference between service and quality of found is completely hit and miss

04/09/2024: Lovely quick stop here to pick up some fish and chips. Food was fresh. Fried Chicken was a nice surprise. Curry Sauce is a must. Great service from the staff. Very kind and helpful in explaining the menu and checking for allergies. Will be back if I'm ever in town again.

10/11/2024: It was very quite when we were there at 8.30 of a Saturday night, so the food and service were quick and efficient. Staff were friendly and tje premises was very clean, typical for McDonalds, chip went cold very qui kly

24/08/2024: One word to describe Hot Box: Comfort Food! I wasn’t sure about ordering from Hot Box at 3 a.m., but with limited options, I decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did! The loaded nachos were just like the picture, with a generous portion that hit the spot. My only tweak would be removing the red onions and tomatoes—they didn’t feel right on nachos, so I picked them off. Other than that, everything was spot on, including the hotdog and the rich, creamy milkshake. I’ll definitely be back for more!

10/08/2024: Not a bad place but it feels like a dangerous area at night, food wasn't something that blew me away either

31/10/2024: Terrific chipper, very consistent loses one star because online ordering is a mess and if your card doesn't go through first time (which can happen for no reason) you lose a lot of time queuing up and having to order again, especially at peak times

17/10/2024: The food is delicious, the staff are lovely, the shop is clean, the service is fast, the price is reasonable for the food.

03/10/2024: A great coffee shop with panoramic views and free parking. I enjoy coffee now and then please no more coffee shops we have enough and can pick one up anywhere nowadays. The staff were pleasant and efficient. This star bucks is one that's located in a very busy area, yet it is not very noisy or over crowded and relaxing. For such a large shopping Centre with choices of coffee from the outlets in the food mall. Star bucks is the go to choice.

04/07/2024: One of the worst coffee shop in cork. I order a coffee and they give me a half cup and ask for it, no one bothered. Don’t buy from the Mahon Starbucks

10/10/2024: We had a fundraiser at our office today, Krispy Kreme really looked after us, donuts were delicious everyone enjoyed them!! Conor served me he was a pleasure to deal with, Thank you Conor!! We will definitely see ye soon, Thanks again Krispy Kreme Cork

19/09/2024: Very sound staff member that sounds to be from Dublin was very helpful for directions. Doughnuts themself weren’t amazing but that’s to be expected expecting for an industrial product

19/06/2024: The manger AJ of this store is so ignorant I would let no stars if it was possible bought food here rang to explain I think cheese was off as it did not taste right but all I was getting dwn the phone was the time it was taken out of fridge I would shop ere many times a week but never again when AJ is working he needs some customer service training

01/10/2024: Shocked at all the bad reviews .!! This is my go to chipper as it delivers so convenient to me HOWEVER I must say the food has always been top notch with good portion sizes. Nicest chipper chips ever. Curry sauce is banging and I always order the double quarter bounder with cheese and its always been nasty well cooked and well seasoned. Delivered promptly food roasting hot and nice driver. What more can you ask for . Once they never added cheese to my chips cheese curry however minor mistake that can happen . Keep up the good work lads .

04/10/2024: Curry sauce and Thai curry sauce with full of sticky cornflour, food is salty looks not nice, will never order again.
