22/05/2026: Security guards are blatantly racist?? I bought two tickets before the MTU final exam event on the 21st may and they refused to allow me as well as a group of other individuals who were all black, but every other person waiting within the queue was given entry. When I demanded a reason as to why I cannot enter I was told "just cause"???? I've checked several of the reviews on the Voodoo and they not only share the same experience but also have pictures of the exact security guards who did not allow me within the premise. The fact that those reviews were written months ago and action has not been taken by the owners/ administration is appalling. I don't usually go out of my way for this kind of thing but I'm seriously considering composing a formal complaint to the Workplace Relations Commission. "According to the law Racial discrimination at the door of licensed premises is illegal in Ireland under the Equal Status Acts."

20/08/2026: Food is amazing but the coffee is actually like water. Definitely will not buy coffee there again. Was nicer a year ago but not drinkable now. Staff is always courteous

07/08/2026: Large coffee is medium at large price. Medium coffee is small at large price. Didn’t reduce prices due to VAT reductions either.

19/09/2026: Arrived at 5:40 today Saturday 19th September to be sorry we are closed! What are opening times for?

12/09/2026: Today was my first experience in this subway and it was delightful. Patrick was the name of the staff member that served me and he was delightful, very professional, kind and quick. I will definitely be back again.

25/10/2026: Best Asian food around. The pad Thai, chicken ramen and general tso's are my personal favorites but everything I've tried was very good and I've been going for years. Run by great people as well. Couldn't recommend enough.

09/05/2026: Ordered a chicken burrito, received it, didn’t look like a burrito, wasn’t wrapped like a burrito, dripping for some reason, the fillings tasted like an old El Paso kit, bland as anything I’ve ever tasted, I ended up throwing half of it away and getting a burger, would 100% never order from hear again.

27/09/2026: I was waiting 20 minutes for a donner and chips with a nann and whilest i was waiting all i saw was a kid touching every he could in the kitchen where all the food was. The donner was dry and tasted like it barely passed the fda, the chips were horrible they were with drenched with oil and had a rotten taste, and the nann wasnt a nann at all instead it was a tosted tortilla wrap

03/10/2026: Delivery took way too long considering we only live 3 mins drive away. The pizza wasn’t warm when it arrived, and the most important part.. the pizza box was covered in sauce from another order that we got (Korean bbq wings) like I mean the pizza box was destroyed. They need to change the packaging of their wings because it was not secure and as I said, the pizza box was dripping with the sauce. Also got on to the bag of chips. Chips were lovely.

02/08/2026: Absolute kip. 30€ for a stale roll and chips. All produce is from tesco as well. Don’t bother going you be better off getting the Tesco meal deal across the road

01/08/2026: Staff were so friendly and gas. We had a chicken stuffing sandwich, a regular smash burger and a ham sandwich. All came with chips that were perfectly cooked to be crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Everything we had was amazing but the smash burger really stood out as the best. The place was immaculately clean.

23/05/2026: Horrible experience. Had one knock on the door and by the time my partner walked to the door they went away. Money wasted. Can’t speak to a member of staff. Don’t waste your time. Never again.

03/09/2026: If I could give this zero stars I would! The one star will remain for the one nice delivery lady they have down there! So to begin, not only have they no idea how to read orders they must just be point blank ignoring them!! Everytime I order they get my order wrong or forget to put things in like the cheese on the chips cheese and curry or another time they said screw it well just forget the cheese and the curry altogether! Just plain chips we received after they charging us €7! Yet again tonight our order was wrong and the girl answered me with “well that’s not actually our problem” it is when I’ve spent €52 on 2 small pizzas chips cheese and curry and a portion of goujons! Apache would want to give their staff a crash course on phone etiquette as a start and maybe throw in a few reading lessons also! I always went back here because I liked the food and I understand staff turn overs etc so things can get mixed up but never will I spend my money somewhere again after being spoken to like that. Spend your hard earned money somewhere where they actually send out the right food to people.

26/07/2026: Pizza came like it was dipped in a bucket off water the whole house was sick after it

06/06/2026: Bagels had processed cheese slices instead of real cheese. Asked for a bagel with unmelted cheese for my son and they said they don't do this. Jacket potato with tuna tasted as if it had been thrown together, with very strong onions in the salad. All bland and poor quality, which was disappointing for the price: we paid 23 Euro for 2 bagels and 1 jacket potato.

29/03/2026: One of the worst coffees I've ever had for €4.90. I had a Flatwhite with plant-based milk, but the foam was completely separated from the coffee, the lid didn't fit the glass (there were two options, and neither worked), and the taste was truly awful—the coffee was completely burnt. The name "Coffee House" is very misleading. Furthermore, when the guy called my order, he never specified that it was made with plant-based milk, which is quite reckless behavior, as I could have been drinking cow's milk, which would have made me sick.

09/10/2026: Very disappointed with this store. I ordered four pieces of chicken thighs but received four portions of chips instead, which were some of the worst I’ve had in a long time. The beef burger was terrible, with a dry bun, and I received garlic mayo instead of regular mayo. Multiple mistakes and poor food quality, really unacceptable.

08/10/2026: Ordered a big takeaway order and kebab was forgotten. This wouldn't be an issue but when rang to explain was accused of lying about it. Won't be ordering from there again as the way it was handled was terrible

30/09/2026: Unfortunately the only place with outdoor seating. And unfortunately the least friendly. The opposite of inviting. Served by a guy that could only be described as pointy, at best. Mediocre coffee and cake, with a flake of something in my coffee.

29/09/2026: I went to Jaye Taylor this morning for breakfast with my mum, We had planned to treat ourselves to a lovely breakfast but unfortunately the experience was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the customer service wasn't great. The girl taking our order at the till came across as quite rude. We ordered Eggs Benedict, French toast (which was advertised as brioche bread with bacon), a coffee and a tea. The total came to around €40 — expensive, but we were happy to pay it. When the food arrived, however, I honestly couldn't believe what I was served. As the waiter handed me my French toast, he said they were "trying a new recipe with the bread" and asked me to let them know what I thought. Interestingly, we'd already heard the exact same explanation being given to another customer nearby. What arrived was nothing like the French toast described on the menu. There was no bacon and no brioche. Instead, the French toast appeared to have been made using what looked like a thin bagel. The egg hadn't properly soaked through the bread at all, leaving the inside completely dry. For €15/€16, this was simply unacceptable. If an advertised ingredient such as brioche or bacon isn't available, customers should be told before they order and pay, and given the choice of ordering something else. Quietly substituting the dish and only explaining afterwards that it's a "new recipe" is not good enough. I brought the plate back to the counter and was immediately refunded. What surprised me even more was that I barely had to explain the problem. There was no apology and no offer to replace the meal or make me something else — I was simply handed my money back. I very rarely feel strongly enough to write a review like this, but the combination of the food, the unexplained substitutions and the customer service was genuinely shocking. Unfortunately, based on our experience this morning, I couldn't recommend it and will never be back!
