The best restaurants in Cork city council

01/10/2026: I have visited this place on two occasions and, unfortunately, the service from the afternoon waitstaff leaves a lot to be desired. They are extremely rude, ill-mannered, and discriminatory. Without a doubt, a terrible service experience. I would not recommend this place.

22/09/2026: Really disappointing and very basic food quality. I ordered a cake, and it was completely dry and seemed like it had been frozen. I couldn’t even finish it. This was definitely my last time there.

04/10/2026: Really good food. Very good portion size.

25/09/2026: Ramen Douglas, it was a good place to eat many many years ago but I went last night and what I got served up was awful. I will never go back again that's for certain

13/09/2026: Always good grub, lovely staff.

25/09/2026: I have to tell you, the South African release spray, both Cook and Spray, and Cook and Bake are miles ahead of your Schneider Release Spray, which still leaves stuff behind. Wish I could get those in Ireland

22/07/2026: Alice in your cork office showroom is brilliant. Went in today to buy about €100 of stock for our business. Came out spending €800.

12/06/2026: Jose honestly have my kids Serious skills on his Very fast with the burger and it was serious grub Give him a raise The fries rice serrrrrrrrious bai

21/05/2026: It was the smell that hit me first when I got the delivery this went straight in the bin I still feel nauseous thinking about it

27/08/2026: The chips were poor quality (I don't know if they were reheated or what caused this issue). Hard and chewy texture, I ended up having to throw the chips away. First time experiencing poor standard of food from Dinos Takeaway. Will not be returning.

19/08/2026: I usually wouldn't be one to comment on these things. But we were very disappointed today. While the delivery driver was so lovely and even arrived early. However the food was horrendous. All the food tasted reheated. It was very obvious the chips were reheated and not fresh., they were hard dry and chewy. The chil coating was obvious they were not fresh. The Chicken strips also cold and dry. Only part of the food that was nice was the bits which would not be regularly ordered which led us to believe they wouldve been made fresh.

02/10/2026: Went to the Mint Restaurant in the Macau Sporting Club with a group. Was fantastic. Teriffic food and really good prices. The staff were excellent.

18/09/2026: I’ve played here 20+ times… I walked in and the guy on reception asked me for ID. I gave him my drivers licence and he says he can’t find me on the system and I can’t sign up tonight. No explanation. Just “sorry about that” and he walks me to the door. I have no idea how they are running this place. I completely sober and wasn’t rude. Weird. I wonder if I’ll ever go back. Doubt it. Had a grand in my pocket

07/04/2026: Absolutely terrible service! All staff extremely slow. Very quiet but to wait for food took ages. Our food got cold till we get it. Kids meal without kids meal box which is very unsual.

31/03/2026: Absolutely dog food, I asked for no tomato and I got tamato, the other wrap was soaking wet, very unhappy, asked for money back and said no

30/03/2026: We got a takeaway and it was absolutely disgusting. The food was congealed, only warm, and tasted awful. Went straight in the bin. Never Again

29/08/2026: Lovely pizza, absolutely delicious!

28/08/2026: This place used to be very good. Perfect example of cheaping out on produce to maximise profit. I get the same meal all the time what cost me 13.50 before (2-3 years ago) now costs me 19.50. not only that the food is substantially worse and less than before. Staff are nice though

05/10/2026: Went here today and left with two little girls crying. The person serving was incredibly rude. And after being rude the food was terrible, to the point I brought the food back We couldn't eat it. They very rudely "DEMAND" that you tell them which items you want before they start loading so they can fill your tray with the cheapest item, ie rice, which is cold, and then a tiny bit of the more expensive item, ie chicken, which is also not great at all. Very rude staff, I would not recommend this restaurant to an animal, do not go there.. AVOID.......

13/09/2026: A nice Chinese/ Pan Asian Street food. Always a delight.

28/08/2026: Extremely disappointing , I purchased a tuna sandwich, made in store but located in the fridge. When I got home, I found the white bread to be gone yellow and there was green mould/fungus on the crust. This cannot be allowed to continue by management. Deli staff need to be spoke to by management.

28/06/2026: Don’t go there young staff with attitude not a friendly person in the place will not be going back

22/09/2026: Great food. Good value and service

10/06/2026: Delicious Chinese food. Very reliable.

11/09/2026: delivery driver ate all my food before it arrived. not even a prawn cracker to be spared

08/09/2026: Nice food but horrible delivery driver won't be ordering delivery again. So rude and aggressive

09/10/2026: Too salty pizza, bad behaviour from store manager

09/10/2026: The pizza was so damn salty we couldn’t even take a bite. To make matters worse, the store manager was rude as hell and didn’t give a shit about our complaint. Terrible food and piss-poor customer service.
