The best restaurants in Cork city council

19/05/2025: I had the potato gnocchi and the raspberry soufflé, and both were delicious. My husband had the duck and the sticky toffee pudding and really enjoyed them as well. We would definitely come here again in the future.

02/04/2025: Seis de nosotros cenamos anoche en el Hotel Montenotte para celebrar un cumpleaños. Quedamos amargamente decepcionados con la calidad de la comida, los sabores, el tamaño de las porciones y el servicio. El coste de un filete a 42€ era ridículo teniendo en cuenta que tenemos una cucharada de puré y una pequeña porción de verduras O patatas fritas con él. Los servidores eran gente muy agradable, pero la espera entre los cursos era demasiado largo y tuvimos que recordarles que traer nuestro pedido de bebidas. Una experiencia muy decepcionante que dejó a los hombres en la fiesta con hambre. 14 € por un postre fue indignante.

19/05/2025: Very unfriendly staff with no manners no urjency whatsoever and the place was full large chips were very small the box was half the size of the box I get in my usual Dinos Bishopstown. Chips were over cooked and same with my breast n bun I will not be returning

27/04/2025: I’m disappointed to be writing this review as have never had an issue before with Dino’s, we ordered two burgers a king Dino and breast in a bun and had to throw them both out as they were complete slop covered in sauce There’s no way anyone could have found this appetizing or would want their food this way so I’m not sure how this happened The order was also incorrect with the wrong items on the burgers Hopefully this is a one time thing as like I said earlier have never had an issue before

11/10/2024: The worst kebab I had in my life. If you can call a bit of a ready made döner meat on a stale wholemeal wrap a kebab. I regret I didn’t look inside when I got it, would definitely return it. The worst spent €10 in a long time. Also, food was freezing cold. I tried their food multiple times and each time it was genuinely disappointing.

24/12/2024: I said that I came to Starbucks yesterday and drank coffee and while drinking it I smelled a bitter and burnt smell in the coffee and now I taste the same burnt coffee. And DAMLA made me a new coffee, it was a coffee without a burnt taste, it was really great, thank you very much. What I mean is, preparing coffee varies from person to person. She know this job. I hope everything goes well.

07/04/2025: Lovely staff: kind and always welcoming. We come here after school and I usually order a kids hot chocolate, the service is fast and everyone is really caring. ❤️

27/03/2025: A few days ago, I visited the café—wonderful muffins and outstanding service! The two girls who speak Spanish assisted me very well and helped me with my order. Congratulations to them, as despite how busy it was, they took the time to serve me well and with a smile! Tks!

22/04/2025: I only had coffee there. The food looked ok. The service was not great, a gentleman in front of me had been waiting 15 minutes and the guy behind the counter did not listen to what he had asked for at all.

02/06/2025: Do not waste your money on the new Dirty Louisiana box meal at €15.30 went with the regular size thinking a box meal would be filling but the amount of chips served was a disgrace. You could literally count the chips I reckon they came from one medium sized potato. The chips were served in a large rectangular box next to a chicken tender that was way too salty why the big box for so few chips for €15.30? The burger itself was a squishy mess covered in cheese and a hash brown could not get the taste of the chicken in the burger with all the cheese and the BBQ sauce. The side of rice was honestly the worst rice I tasted. I have tried many rice from microwavable to boiled but this tasted like it was definitely microwaved or reheated, uneatable so that was a waste. For such a large chain of drive through restaurants the portion ratio of chips was unbelievably scant. I have often got food from KFC and never had a problem but something is definitely wrong with this meal from either the serving process or the meal itself it was a mess. Maybe it's because the staff work hard and are paid so low and the meal itself could have been much better. Service was quick. Not worth paying the price for this and hope it leaves the menu soon. Buyer beware.

04/05/2025: Went for a meal here tonight with my partner , we were the only ones sitting down to eat in there , prices are expensive enough everything was seperately priced on the menu wasnt made aware of if they offered a set menu per person for some much or not , we got the combi tray platter to start with for two people to share was too much food on it for 2 people if we had known we would have just got it for 1 person and shared it for main course i ordered crispy shredded chicken in sweet sour and chilli sauce with boiled rice , the rice was the nicest part of it the chicken part came served in a white cereal bowl where the veg and sauce was in the bottom of the boel and the chicken completely dry was sitting on top so you could tell the chicken hadnt been cooked in the sauce and there was very little sauce in the bowl it was more like a portion of salt & chilli chicken had been put on top of the sauce in the bowl was given no plate or bowl of prawn crackers like you would usually get in a chinese , my partner got the chi chi chicken it was meant to be a mix of chicken and pork he said the pork was more like pieces of spam we didnt like or enjoy it at all i know all chinese restaurants can differ with food but this one was a no for us .

30/03/2025: The food was delicious, and the service was quick. I especially enjoyed the chow mein. It’s a quiet place, great for a conversation. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, though vegetarian options are limited.

09/06/2025: The women working at the till very ignorant! I was reading the menu and she got impatient and asked me to stop wasting mine and her time. This is not customer service we want in our take aways in our villages and towns Very upset and will never come and eat here again as I did order online regularly. Shame on her!

18/03/2025: Wow! What can i say? 5 stars is not enough! Service was impeccable with zero waiting times despite the vast amount of hungry hippos in the shop. The atmosphere felt just like turkey, i could almost hear the waves in the ocean as i walked in, wading my way through the water to the front counter for my scrumptious chicken garlic kebab. Would absolutely recommend this place and it is a MUST-SEE sight in the humble town of Corcaigh. I thank you beyond words for your excellent service and delightful munch.

18/03/2025: Absolutely the best meal I’ve ever had, I had 2 mix doner wrap got it 2 secs after ordering and ive never had anything like it before. Soon as I ate I wanted another, unfortunately my pals wouldn’t let me go back but I would have. P.S. I’m English from London and this is the best place P.S.S don’t listen to the haters go there but only get the mix doner wraps!

15/12/2024: This place is gone to the dogs food is rotten over charged n tastless 48euro fr beef curry n munchies box won't be returning here again this place used to be lovely food 👌💯 now whoever took over has ran it into ground again stsy clear horrible overcharged tastless food

21/03/2025: Ordered on just eat for delivery. The order was accepted, one hour later I received a notification saying the food was delivered, but nothing. Rang the restaurant, was told that they can’t deliver cause their delivery driver broke down. The ordered was accepted even though they can’t provide a service, never made aware of it and barely a sorry, shocking.
