The best restaurants in Cork city council

19/08/2026: my dad brought me here when i was younger out of spite that his 70 year old mother wouldn't make dinner for he and i. watched him put his head in his hands and start crying after his first bite of potato. that shi must have been bussin.

13/08/2026: A very big bar in Blackpool. The staff are always very helpful and the food (breakfast) is nice. Very little to atmosphere in the place as its so big, could be due to the time we went there during the day. It was clean, toilets were decent. I wouldn't be going there for a pint.

09/08/2026: Messed up my order back to back times food was brutal

09/08/2026: Delivery is absolute joke. 2 hours 20 mins waiting today. Always over 2 hours for delivery. Food is never fresh. Genuinely the worst food I’ve ever eaten in my life.This was my third time ordering takeaway. My own fault really.

25/07/2026: Ordered caesar salad and linguine... salad was fine, never got my main dish. Long wait, understaffed, food didn't come out in time, when i cancelled my order after 15 minutes waiting, server got visibly angry... felt bad but was not a pleasant experience unfortunately.

14/06/2026: The staff here were very welcoming and professional! Our food and dessert came out quickly and were delicious. Junior went above and beyond, making us some lovely coffees to go with dessert. Junior’s service and the restaurant as a whole were spot-on, high recommend!

15/08/2026: Food is edible, service isn't the fastest and its usually quite busy as its in a shopping centre so its convenient....

24/07/2026: In my opinion micky Ds has gotten far too expensive, I go in hungry and come out starving.

07/06/2026: Absolute misers. Paid 9 euro for chips cheese garlic.. and it was half empty. Never again. Go to hillbilly's. Spice route. Or mizzonis (poor enough aswell but better than this shite)

03/05/2026: finger lickin good, toilet facility’s are adequately set up to cope with the aftermath of the banquet of kings. Arguably the finest culinary establishment In ireland.

07/07/2026: Food is standard for McD , but service is poor for a disabled person as their not interested in helping to bring the meal to customer . Disabled Toilet Smelled bad and washing of hands facility leaves a lot to desire .

29/06/2026: Low portions of fries when you take the large size meal. Very disappointed… and I will never come back over there

28/08/2026: They recommended Disco Fries as one of their most popular dishes. They didn't taste or look fresh. I thought the ingredients were poor. It didn't taste nice at all. Disappointing.

29/08/2026: Worst pizza ever, dough felt like hard sponge, I would never repeat. Only pro is servers are polite and places looks clean.

19/05/2026: Very rude stuff Unfortunately, I had a negative experience. I tried to place an order 15 minutes before 9 but they refused in a way that felt rude. I hope their customer service improves in the future.

11/09/2026: Was waiting at the door at 6am to get stuff, shop was still closed. Staff member finally arrived (late) and said we open at 6.15 not 6. I said it was 6am advertised and got told well I've no till ready anyway so cant help you.

10/07/2026: Possibly the best refrigerated water I’ve ever had, it truly quenched my thirst like no other. It was kept at the best possible temperature, not too hot & not too cold where it attacked your throat. Great service from the woman at the desk and what a recommendation with the water (refrigerated edition). They had really nice prawn toast also.

27/08/2026: Man with ponytail had a really bad attitude. Not friendly at all

16/08/2026: The coffee is fine but as with most places these days it's expensive. My main issue though is with the fact that the person on the till said nothing during our exchange. I ordered a coffee, a treat and asked her to sign my loyalty card. In return, there was no hello. No thank you. No 'enjoy!' Nothing... As a paying customer, the very least I expect is 'thank you'. Poor form, really.

11/06/2026: Busy and kind of dirty. Food was your typical McDonald’s

06/06/2026: Went in with my son who is autistic. Ordered a happy meal with a plain burger. Went to a sit down tables were filthy and also and there was a smell of piss. I got out the burger that was a double cheeseburger and I went to get it rectified. The guy at the till looked at the receipt and burger without saying a word and brought out the manager who looked further I was watching that they weren't going to peel the cheese off. I finally got the plain burger that I ordered without any kind of apologies. This place is a absolute kip and shouldn't be called McDonald's. A place for kids. The staff were so unaccomadating I will never go in there again.
