15/10/2025: Called here during the week and got a 5 Tenders meal with Gravy and a Kids Popcorn Chicken meal. It's fair to say they do good chicken and gravy here. Portion size was also very good, For me Hillbillies is the best chicken in Cork but this is up their, well worth a try if you like Fried Chicken and Gravy 👍

04/09/2025: I haven't eaten anything worse in a long time. This place has lost a lot of its quality. The fries were half-raw, and the garlic sauce was greasy and topped with the cheapest cheese.

28/10/2025: Got Chicken Katsu curry. Not bad but not great either. They advertise fluffy rice and it is. Rice shouldn't be fluffy despite what (uncle)Ben's says. Curry was not the most flavourful.

22/08/2025: Have a very bad experience after ordering a chicken burrito from this place through Deliveroo on the 20.8 around noon. Within a few hours, I started feeling extremely bloated and unwell, and soon after I developed severe diarrhea that has continued for two days now. I have been feeling very weak and unable to eat properly two days in a row now.
I noticed that another customer mentioned that they and three of their friends also suffered food poisoning here, which makes me strongly believe that this was the source of my illness as well.
This has been one of the worst food-related experiences I’ve ever had, and I would advise others to be very cautious. I'm burritos and blues customer for the 10 years.

12/09/2025: We’ve been a few times just for the price point but the last time we went we were really blown away! The young woman with the short red hair and glasses is an absolute credit to you, she’s so sweet and friendly and the table near us was really running her ragged and she was so sweet and let it run off her back. Thank you for becoming a regular treat for our family!
The food is also amazing. I think about the hot honey constantly.
04/09/2025: Absolute joke of a place, a manager who in way in over her head with zero knowledge of good customer service, massively under staffed, served cold pizza after waiting almost 40mins for same. I made the manager aware of the issue and she just looked blankly at me and said she would only charge for the starters 😂😂😂 When she did arrive with the bill there was a 2nd round of drinks on it which we hadn’t received, I pointed this out and said the least she could do is not charge us at all but again looked at me blankly and pushed a card machine in my face. Needless to say we won’t be eating here again

27/06/2025: I'm a regular here and have always been a fan of their doner. Got the doner last week and it was a greasy mess. Thought it was a one time thing. Had doner again last night and its just awful. doesnt even taste like meat anymore. Don't know what happened here lads.
14/04/2025: Pedí comida de apache en ballyvolane Nunca antes había experimentado un servicio al cliente como este no solo no recibí mi comida, sino que la persona que entregaba la comida era ignorante no me mostró respeto trató de culparme por mi timbre no funcionaba me dijo que me llamó timbre 4 / 5 veces, pero obviamente no lo hizo No recomendaría este lugar a nadie servicio impactante

01/09/2025: The bartender is a sight to behold! Effective and highly professional.
We stopped by because it was on our way home and thought we'd have the "second to last" one.
The atmosphere was masculine and, above all, older... But it was worth it.
08/08/2025: I adored O'Driscolls.
Ben the barman was accommodating knowledgeable and welcoming. I saw him, several times remember anything order that the punter had forgotten themselves.
I had great conversations with the customers, over several nights.
Its such a great pub. I'd recommend it to anyone.

29/04/2025: Just had a delivery from Pizza Daddy. We had the fried chicken kebab, chicken tikka kebab, taco fries and a burger. Extremely happy with the food and quality.
Fast delivery through Just Eat, and a loyalty card system with Pizza Daddy through just eat! Love loyalty systems!
We will definitely buy again, not just because of the loyalty program, but the brilliant food. Thanks Pizza Daddy.
