The best restaurants in Cork city council

23/08/2025: I have just left the internet cafe and am absolutely disgusted in what they are charging. I was on an old computer for a few minutes only to fill out an online form and they charged me six euros. I got no printing or no paperwork whatsoever, am outraged at the new ownership there. Daylight robbery, no thanks shame on ye.

22/08/2025: The place has changed alot sense it changed owners. Knowledge of pc workings needs to be updated. Cafe on site with food and coffee.

21/06/2025: Came in for a drink tonight and was met with arrogance from barmaid she was not polite to us but was very friendly to her regulars

04/06/2025: Cosy pub with friendly service, good beer selection. I only had a drink here.

30/08/2025: Tried their Chai latte and its pretyy good.

26/08/2025: What a disappointment this order has been. Since when we have switched to paying 3,5€ for a Barry’s tea?

28/09/2025: 4 weeks ago we had a fantastic experience here. Food incredible and very reasonable price.. Vegan gf options too. Staff super kind and very attentive. We went back again this evening and like before it was a great experience. Food, staff, all super good and very reasonable price. Best in Cork.

24/08/2025: Atmosphere is nice, staff pleasant, toilets clean and ice cream is lovely. Food is a disappointment. Far too much sauce, flavorings and salt. Completely overwhelms the taste of the ingredients

21/09/2025: Very unwelcoming staff. Food was sad and miserable. My pork roast was completely dried out, the rest of the food wasn't much better.

27/08/2025: Ate lunch here before flying out of Cork airport. We both ordered burgers. I noticed how quickly they came out and how fast other tables got their food too. I worked in hotels myself for years and that is not necessarily a good sign. The burgers themselves were ok but they seemed somewhat ready made. We both had upset stomachs by the evening time. I do not recommend. The staff and service were excellent. I can’t give more than 1 star because of the food issue.

26/09/2025: Good food, pizza was good and so we're the curries

13/09/2025: I came into this establishment after a long day working late, I did come into at 11:15pm in the hope of getting a pizza, they were so kind and offered me a seat and said no problem even though they were finishing up for the night, I can’t even begin to thank them for just being genuinely kind and understanding that I was tired and hungry after a long day, they even added fresh tomatoes and rocket to my pizza and it was yummy thank you so much guys you were amazing great end to a long day!!

03/10/2025: Fidd was grand, nothing wrong with it, but nothing special either! One chicken burger and 1 vegan burger, both with chips and bit of mixed lettuce on the side. Very quiet Friday lunchtime in there, due to excessive rainfall outside. Helpful, friendly staff.

02/10/2025: Stopped by on a rainy day and basically had the place to ourselves. Beautiful place and good food. Service started fantastic but our servers shift ended before we finished and the person that took over wasn't the best.

17/01/2025: Had a Irish ham, salad sandwich , which was fine and tasty. Also choose a spiced apple slice, equally as fine and tasty!

14/01/2025: We mentioned this bakery, in the ratings for the park. Really nice food and drink, it's just a shame we don't live closer, so we can go every weekend.

17/09/2025: The girl serving behind the counter was unfriendly, as if she didn’t want to be there and didn’t want to serve us. The milk was served in it’s original 2L jug and again just thrown there almost with words to the effect, if you want some milk here you go. The toilets had just been cleaned but they never replaced the soap and the soap dispenser was completely empty. All of this when the café was practically empty and the staff had not much to do. Never going back there again.

05/08/2025: Very YUMMY drinks food yummy one thing i ordered and payed for a tall aka large strawberry acai refresher guess what they gave me a small done in 5 minutes literally but VERY nice service 4/5 well done very good food and the only starbucks i ever go to!!

24/07/2025: I recently stayed at this hotel, and I have to say, the staff was a major letdown. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was bothering them. The front desk staff (Martha) seemed uninterested and gave off the vibe that they'd rather be anywhere else. Throughout my stay, I encountered similar attitudes from other staff members. Requests were met with delays, and it felt like pulling teeth to get any kind of assistance. It's a shame because the hotel itself had potential, but the poor service really dragged down the whole experience. I won't be returning, and I'd advise others to consider other options where the staff actually cares about their guests. We had tried to complain to the manager Joe about the attitude of his staff, he told us “customers like you are not worth being customers”.

29/08/2025: Always excellent service, cold beer, and ambient music. The space is super spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. Service is fast, and the food always arrives piping hot and quickly, with fresh and delicious flavors! The place also has table reservations, making it easy on busier days. Wednesdays feature wings for $0.30, and Thursdays offer goujons for $0.50 (which are huge and super crispy). Great for enjoying with friends, family, dates, or even solo. One of the best pubs in the area.

05/08/2025: Best bar outside the city center, amazing little nooks to be left alone as well as large open areas for large party's or functions. Amazing bar food. Id like to see some unusual Irish whiskey on the shelf to complement the already unusual mezcals and other cool bottles. Top marks.

13/09/2025: As an italian person this isn't a real pizza. We bought 3 medium pizza and some ingredients were missing. We paid too much.

19/08/2025: The food is great. I can't say much about atmosphere cause I get delivery but they redid the place recently so I assume it's nice

07/04/2025: Called in for quiet casual drinks. Very unfriendly team. We both said hello. Non verbal back. Not even a smile. Thankfully no food served here. Toilets disgraceful, filty. Toilet roll dispensers and hand soaps dispensers all opened and hanging down. 3 toilets filthy. 1 toilet sanitary bucket on top of lid with a stand on floor as not to go in. Loose taps. Hand drys blowing cold hair. Very run down place.

29/11/2024: Como local siempre me ha gustado este lugar, pero tengo que decir que ha cambiado completamente en el último año. Si bien las pintas son un € 5 que es genial, la calidad de las instalaciones no es grande. La falta de mantenimiento parece ser el mayor problema, especialmente en los baños femeninos. Es una lástima ya que podría ser un establecimiento fantástico para todos.

06/06/2025: Collection time in the app said 9-14 minutes for the order to be ready, it took 20 minutes. I had to wait still for it to be made when I got there.
