26/08/2024: This costa branch had improved 100% over the last year 18 months. Whereas the coffee and food are still the same and excellent 👌 it's the staff that are efficient and friendly. They now have the seating tables and bathrooms spotless. It is mow a pleasure to visit here. 🤗🤗👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

23/04/2024: One of the worst coffees I had, taste of chemicals, luke warm, couldn't drink it. I've been to few costa coffees before but by far this one was the worst. I don't like posting bad reviews but in this case I lost money and time...

26/10/2024: I love the Terrace Restaurant with its fantastic view over Cork harbour and the beautiful hotel gardens below. As a vegan I eat marvelous food there created by a wonderful chef called Rohan who understand what vegans and vegetarians are. The restaurant has a quartet of first class chefs who can cater for every dietary need. Dining in a beautiful restaurant, eating delicious food and taking in the panoramic view below is my idea of heaven. Thank you Rohan for looking after me so well on my recent visit.

20/09/2024: Primero lo bueno. Una vista impresionante, un gran ambiente y un pianista talentoso. Innegablemente una de las mejores vistas desde cualquier comedor en Cork. Si tuviera que elegir a la estrella de la noche, tendría que ser el joven camarero quien escuchara mi pedido y me diera uno de los mejores cócteles que he probado, porque... Ahora lo malo. El primer camarero estaba demasiado ocupado hablando con el personal de camarera, y me dio la bebida equivocada. Cuando hice la reserva, me dijeron que las mesas se asignaban por orden de llegada. A la llegada y expresando una preferencia por una mesa me dijeron amablemente que ciertas mesas estaban reservadas para los huéspedes del hotel. Bastante bien, eso es solo un buen negocio. Estábamos sentados y esperábamos aproximadamente 15 minutos antes de verme obligado a pedir menús, y tuve que ir al bar a buscar una copa de vino para mí y nuestro invitado mientras esperaba la carta de vinos. Los tres habíamos llegado por el wellington de carne, pero tristemente nos dijeron que solo uno estaba disponible para nuestra mesa. Obviamente, nuestro invitado consiguió el wellington, con mi esposa llevándose el pez monje, y sin otra opción, opté por el lomo. Mi esposa disfrutó de su pescado, nuestro invitado disfrutó del wellington, pero lamentablemente el lomo era completamente comestible. Las patatas estaban bien. Simplemente no esperaba pagar más de 400 € solo por parar en un local de hamburguesas de camino a casa. ¿Recomendaciones? En primer lugar, si usted sabe que un plato es tan popular, pedir más en! Curiosamente, si vas a themontenottehotel.com/dining/panorama/ desplázate hacia abajo a la izquierda y haz clic en el enlace del menú de la cena, podrás ver el menú que debe presentarse el 23 de octubre (presumiblemente un error). Verás que el wellington de ternera se ha convertido en un wellington de venado, ¡pero ese filete ahora está en el menú! Una excelente decisión de negocios dado que tener filete refrigerado a mano es mucho más fácil que tener que pedir wellingtons de carne con poca antelación. Ser capaz de tomar un filete de filete anoche habría aumentado mi crítica de hoy.

22/06/2024: The young girl behind the counter taking orders/on tills is a credit to the store. Fabulous personality, exceptionaly welcoming & caring towards customers. Credit where credit is due absolutely excellent customer care skills she has.

18/09/2024: I always bought it, but the last time, my order come wrong, and I asked the manager of Tower Street answered me super badly, asked me for the proof, passed me his WhatsApp I sent my request and he shouted at me on the phone, said that I did not know how to ask, that I was going to do myself a favor in sending another just because he wanted to, I ordered without pepper because I am allergic and he was more rude to me, to the point of screaming on the phone, I totally lost the urge to eat.

28/06/2024: This is a great place to get a take away staff are lovely and the food is delicious and great value food for the price and filling I would recommend everyone, theres variety of food for everyone

11/10/2024: I ordered chicken biryani a few months back. It is so tasty and a good quantity. I like the taste of chicken biryani. I felt the biryani was slightly oily. Overall I enjoyed chicken biryani and the side given with it. Thank you curry corner.

26/10/2024: This is in my opinion the best Indian food in Cork. I've known people who travel from all over Cork to get a curry from the gaylord. My recommended dish is the Chilli Madras very tasty and spicy.

14/10/2024: Food is very nice and tasty but expensive but I was aware of that I thought it was worth it for a birthday celebration. The girl who served us was friendly but the male was rude and indifferent and seemed to want us to go as soon as possible. Shame because he wasn't there last year or I didn't see him. They shouldn't put him at the front as he puts customers off. This affects the whole atmosphere as he is like that with everyone

07/11/2024: Go there once a week or every two weeks, always lovely servers and line moves at a good pace.

04/11/2024: Definitely the best Subway branch in Cork. It’s somehow busier than the city centre ones but is cleaner, faster and quieter than them. Also the bread was deliciously soft. Absolutely prefer Wilton’s Subway to the cramped hot city branches.

21/08/2024: Great sandwiches normally, but I was home visiting and wanted to give my husband a taste of what Cork has to offer. We cued with a toddler at busy lunch time, then had a long journey home on public transport only to find that we had been given the wrong sandwiches (both with meat when we are vegetarian) so had to throw them out and exhausted, prepare a thrown together lunch after a very long day. We were so so disappointed. I'm sure the sandwiches are still amazing, but my disappointment was quite huge today
