18/07/2025: Popped in because we heard live music. Had a quick pint of Storehouse lager, not our favorite but needed to try it.
Open space bar, more modern with the TV and projector so i guess it depends what you are looking for

22/04/2025: I recently visited the pub, and I was genuinely impressed. Lee a man of many talents waiter, barman, and chef and somehow excels at them all. His warm hospitality, quick service, and absolutely delicious food made the experience unforgettable. The aquarium, in particular, adds a unique and calming touch it’s not something you’d expect in a pub, but it works beautifully. The only down side to the night was when he seduced my wife into the kitchen and done her but he put on an episode of family guy for me to watch while I was waiting thought that was proper sound. Would highly recommend
02/01/2025: Wife and I were out for the night, she was all dressed up and hoping to get ploughed. Found this fine establishment but unfortunately, Lee got there first. The wife got rode red raw in the cleanest jax she said she's ever seen.
Enjoyed the nachos but I had to take two stars off because the telly showed the Irish lad getting kicked out of the darts and it was awful noisy in the place. Could have done with some live music. It was hard going alternating between the racket from the kitchen, the bathroom and the wife.
Lee is some man, gave me a commemorative singing fish to take home.

The Cottage fast food takeaway

25/12/2024: We arrived in late on Christmas Eve and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was really good and fresh and tasty and they were able to accommodate 5 different tastes!
19/11/2024: The Cottage serves an absolutely incredible doner kebab! The meat is perfectly seasoned and tender, the salad fresh and crunchy, and the sauces strike the perfect balance of creamy and spicy. Wrapped in soft, warm naan, every bite is pure perfection. Generous portions, great value, and friendly service make this place a must-visit. Five stars without a doubt!

Went to the Marina Market yesterday and asked for a Takeaway Lasagna. The lovely lady behind the counter packaged it all up for me. Gave me extra sauce in a cup and cheese with the reheating instructions on top - it was beyond divine and I'm a lasagna woman anywhere I see it (I'm on par with Garfield). It was so beyond my expectations - I'll be back for more every time when I'm in Cork every few weeks.
The chef needs a pay rise for that quality of food!
01/02/2025: The pasta was great here before they changed the menu. They have now upped the prices from €9 to €13 & reduced the portions. It is no longer fresh and now they serve a reheated pasta bake. Very disappointed 😞😞😞

14/06/2025: Fudi was a lovely place to stop by, the ordering area was neat and tidy, although there was not much in the way of a waiting are to collect your food for takeaway. The website order system can be a bit glitchy, but overall was easy enough to use.
The food was fantastic though, and I would highly recommend it! Large portions, good taste, and a large menu for everyone to enjoy.

25/06/2025: No time for a long review, just wanted to mention that Christy's Pub served up the best beef Irish stew I've had so far in Ireland, and I've had a lot of beef stew!
Chicken club sandwich was okay, easily outshined by the stew. Get the beef!

19/07/2025: I ordered on Deliveroo and received what looked like some used leftovers. I paid €19 so have it delivered. Really disappointed. I have had the one in Douglas and never had an issue but even the photo speaks for itself. I didn’t even try eat it.
04/07/2025: Avid enjoyer of zambreros for years now and hugely disappointed by the size portions of the burritos. Paying 11.30 for a burrito that is tiny is outrageous. The inconsistency of the sizing is horrible. Nearly thought the ingredients were being paid by the workers with how little they were giving.
