14/09/2025: Such a lovely atmosphere. Wine was fantastic. Lovely vibe with the candles and music. Absolutely no complaints.

10/08/2025: Wonderful wine bar, been a favourite place of mine for years. Fantastic wine list, lovely atmosphere and the hosts are always so welcoming.

31/10/2025: We went in for some food and were told when we ordered all sandwiches and wraps are already pre-made and we weren’t allowed to make any modifications to them. Upon hearing this information we expected food to be done quickly as toasted sandwiches and wraps don’t take long to make. We waited 40 minutes before our food was brought out to us while multiple tables that ordered after us were served. When the food arrived there was no red onions in the wrap and no sauce, it was meant to be Cajun chicken and there was no flavour at all, the outside was hot but cheese on the inside was not melted. The garlic bread might as well have been just bread and cheese as there wasn’t even the slightest hint of garlic. They also don’t have sweet chili sauce. Not once in the hour that we were there did anyone come up to check on us or offer us anything more. Also the pricing for a bottle of still ballygowan water was €3 the same price as a coke zero and for water that is expensive. Overall very disappointing and probably will not be returning the food wasn’t nice and the service was poor.

20/07/2025: LO MEJOR. La pizza era increíble y el personal era tan agradable. Entramos para un pedido en persona y de alguna manera me las arreglé para perder un piercing mío. El personal lo encontró para mí y fue tan amable la noche. No podíamos habernos sentido más cómodos y la piazza estaba deliciosa. Lo revisaremos.

13/09/2025: I came into this establishment after a long day working late, I did come into at 11:15pm in the hope of getting a pizza, they were so kind and offered me a seat and said no problem even though they were finishing up for the night, I can’t even begin to thank them for just being genuinely kind and understanding that I was tired and hungry after a long day, they even added fresh tomatoes and rocket to my pizza and it was yummy thank you so much guys you were amazing great end to a long day!!

31/03/2025: I wasn't very happy because when I ordered I paid extra for meat.I got two corners of prons for €4 I will never go to you, they are robbing you of your food. I'm not alone, my friend, you want to complain about not enough meat?

21/11/2025: The menu looked great but the quality was very disappointing. I asked if I could have the sauce on the side for the kids pasta and was told this was not possible because the sauce and pasta are already mixed and par cooked. I was pretty surprised to hear that, never heard of this practice outside of maybe an aeroplane! I had a pizza, it was soft and a bit tasteless. Also had the prawn starter which had very few prawns, it was mainly peppers. The service was a bit indifferent. Desserts were surprisingly not too bad. I was also very impressed with the gluten free dough balls, not easy to make good gluten free bread type dishes. We were given colouring for the kids which was appreciated and the space itself is very nice but given how much good food there is in Cork I can't see I would ever go back.

16/11/2025: We couldn't have dinner; at 8 pm, with almost all the tables empty, they told us we didn't have a reservation...

15/10/2025: Called here during the week and got a 5 Tenders meal with Gravy and a Kids Popcorn Chicken meal. It's fair to say they do good chicken and gravy here. Portion size was also very good, For me Hillbillies is the best chicken in Cork but this is up their, well worth a try if you like Fried Chicken and Gravy 👍

23/11/2025: I had a very disappointing experience at Sultan Café in Cork. The staff member who served us was rude and arrogant throughout our visit, and his behaviour felt unwelcoming and borderline discriminatory. Definitely not the kind of treatment any customer deserves. Thanks for the response — it actually proves my point better than my review ever could. Telling customers ‘do not come back again’ is shocking behaviour for a café operating in Ireland, where basic hospitality and respect are expected. Instead of addressing the issue, you doubled down with arrogance and blame. If this is how you treat people publicly, I can only imagine how you behave in person. I hope future customers see this attitude and think twice before visiting.”

22/11/2025: My visit to Sultan’s Café in Cork was horrible. The waiter with glasses was unbelievably rude, didn’t bother taking our order, and made us walk to the till to pay upfront before we were even served. The whole experience felt disrespectful, unprofessional, and nothing like the glowing reviews online ,they seemed to be made up. Based on what I experienced, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—there are plenty of better cafés in Cork that actually know how to treat customers properly.

16/08/2025: We went for dinner and it was closed. Their website said they closed at midnight.

02/10/2025: I was there last night. We didn't know they closed the door at 6pm there was still a queue, so we popped in to grab our coffee. The stuff didn't say anything they will close the shop. There were still a few ppl inside. Anyway, we grab our coffee and sit down on the table, and then the boy named Jose or a very similar name starts screaming "guys we are closing," in a very rude way. We were actually kicked out. The coffee was disgusting. Milk was burnt order were wrong. Was actually a very bad experience. I definitely will not go back there!!

19/08/2025: Outstanding service and very friendly workers all you want see, people full of energy and the customers not wanted wait to much time, it’s like a production line never stop or if something wrong happens only with machines a part of that Starbucks keeps rolling, Starbucks franchise is one of the best you can get is half away for success.

19/09/2025: Chips were okay, warm but not the best, the chicken was horrible, and I genuinely cannot stress that enough it came cold sort of, and some of it was crispy but majority of the pieces were half soggy which is disgusting and I couldn’t eat it.

21/06/2025: Just ordered delivery, never had food in the restaurant but the delivery was so fast, food was so delicious, the portion was great for the price! Highly recommend! We enjoyed the Pad Thai a lot! Thank you!

29/11/2025: We had brunch on Saturday for my friend's 40th birthday. The music and staff were fab and we did have a great time. There were a few things that needed improvement and to be aware of if booking that are not on the website and I found it hard to get the information before hand. If you have bottomless prosecco you have to eat, now some of our party have quite strict dietary requirements and didn't want food they ate before they came, this information is not on the website. I know it's brunch but on the website food looks optional. Some of our party don't drink prosecco they were told they were not allowed food, there was a complaint made and it was sorted quickly. Had the chicken quesadillas (wrap) nice but for 14.50 it could have had some chips with it, compared to the burger that was overflowing with chips and onion rings for an extra €2. If don't like chicken I wouldn't bother. The prosecco was decent and flowing, would recommend it, but do feel website needs updating with clear rules so people know before arrival.

13/10/2025: Great mid-week deals. Altough the quality of food has dropped in recent times, especially the chicken wings for the deal on Wednesdays. Hygiene needs improving also, the tables are sticky from dirt and poor cleaning, door handles are filthy, and the bathrooms are disgusting!

28/11/2025: Overall nice tasting food and made well and fresh. I recommend the garlic pizza bread. The service was fast but in in most recent visit me plus a number of other customers were left waiting for over 10 mins or more due to the new naming logic in their system which chaged to first name rather than surname. Staff could not figure out what order was for who. The app that 4 star offer was ok to use but the new app is terrible and extremely glitchy. The prices have gone up and some items are far to overpriced but they have some good value meal deals so pricing is very mixed. The chips and wedges can be hit and miss here and on numerous occasions they have given us the wrong orders or have failed to give everything you pay for in both situations at the store and delivery.
