24/06/2025: Room tired, chipped bath, solid bed. Very expensive for what you got

21/06/2025: We booked a baby shower in the hotel, from start to finish the staff were brilliant to deal with. From ease of booking, to the efficency of the staff and cleanliness of hotel I couldn't recommend enough. The food was beautiful and nothing was too much for the staff. A special thanks to vivenne who went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Will definitely return. Thanks to all who were working today

08/06/2025: Go to place for good pizza. They have amazing options of pizza and you can customize your pizzas as well. You should order double deal pizza which has 2 large pizza at a stealing price. Good for a big gathering party.

11/05/2025: Lovely people :). Accidentally ordered the wrong size and they sorted it no problem! Received the wrong pizza by accident and they sent a replacement in under 20 mins. :)

04/07/2025: Nice, Irish (English)-style pub and with superheroes! It’s a bit quirky (to us Americans ;-) but quaint. The food is solid, focused on meat & potatoes but they do chips well! In love with the Brown sauce! Guinness was great as was the cider - bravo!

13/05/2025: The place is very cute inside and always a good atmosphere, Khloe is always very fast and friendly when serving . Food always taste amazing I love the fact there is options of non healthy and healthy so there is a bit of something for everyone . I have got it delivered to my workplace a few times for all the staff and nothing but good complaints were given .

22/03/2025: We went at 1 o clock on a Saturday it said it was open at google and it wasn’t. We took the bus all over here and nobody was there, they weren’t serving food/drinks. Shame.

08/06/2025: Classic local pub in a quiet neighborhood. We visited during the hurling match and had a great time with our fellow patrons. Ursula and her staff made us feel welcome and gave us a history lesson about the pub and area. Thank you for a great time.

04/06/2025: Visited the English market and wanted a sandwich, we chose the sandwich stall and we both would rate our sandwiches very highly. My partner had the spicy beef and I had the mozzarella and sun dried tomato. Sandwiches are pricey but worth it as portion size is massive and you can tell quality ingredients are used.

18/06/2025: Guys you just kicked out my friend from club for no reason. Your security people are abusing their power. Security guy told me they are kicking him out for “too much alcohol”. What does that reason even means? He wasnt falling down, he wasnt disrespecting anyone, and you kicked him out for using the product that you are making business on. He spent money to end up being disrespected by staff. I said to security guy what is the logicl reason of kicking out the person for ‘too much alcohol’. What is his metric of ‘too much alcohol’? In that case I can say I had too much alcohol, he had to much alcohol, anyone had too much alcohol. Hes like, ye fair, thats your opinion. Yes my man, but my opinion doesnt matter nothing while your opinion means abusing the power. This is the last time coming to this place.

03/06/2025: The place is amazing, with great music and fun weekly activities. However, there’s something more important than everything else to me: the staff! I visited on a public holiday, and one of the staff members was incredibly aggressive and unhappy. An alternative lady, who was supposed to be helpful, had an inadequate posture with me and my friend because we didn’t want to participate in the Quiz. It was unnecessary and some people really don’t know how to work in a hospitality service. Unfortunately, it seems like the company is lost in this situation because there are 100 others pubs in Cork where this kind of behavior is not tolerated.

08/06/2025: Got it today for the first time in years and the curry was so sweet it was sickening, literally none of us can stomach it, won't be ordering again unless they change the curry

17/06/2025: New Yorker is best option in neighborhood. New Yorker is rather expensive but fund here is good quality. American and local dishes and fine wines. Like for restaurant in hotel very decent.

15/04/2025: Go occassionally for their Italian hot chocolate which is really good. Went for breakfast bap (microwaved) and mineral yesterday morning and told it came to e9.00 (on menu inc recycling would be e8.94) so handed e10 to lady on till. I was going to put the e1.oo change in tip jar until I realised she wasn't going to give me any change! I stood waiting until till was reopened and I put it in my pocket so just be mindful if you go there. First time this has happened there as probably this employee as hadn't seen her before.

18/02/2025: Great place to print and have a coffee. Staff are very helpful. Colette in particular is very warm, friendly and has a great sense of humour 😄

01/06/2025: One of the largest Costas I’ve come across. It has a drive-through, ample outdoor seating, and loads of space inside. The interior is modern, clean, and welcoming – a great spot to get some work done over a coffee.

31/05/2025: Really nice staff, great spot, refurbishment looks fantastic and the drive thru is very handy in the morning if you are running late!
