24/01/2026: Awful experience. All food was mostly cold. Drinks only 2 3rds filled and watery. Daughter didnt even finish milshake as was not mixed properly and mostly water Burgers tiny and fries only half full at best. Asked for an extra mayonaise after paying 54 euro for the meal and the girl insisted on 30cent. Went back up and nice guy gave it for free. Thank you. Rarely if ever goto McDonald's and had heard it was gone very bad ...and rife with shrinkflation while prices keep going up. Never again. Avoid this very poorly staffed and managed McDonalds. Actually avoid this chain in general...its just awful food...that isnt cheap

22/04/2025: I had a great time at Old Reliable Irish Pub! I picked it off Google just wanting a quick pint, and I am so glad I did. It use to be a Mens only pub 20 years ago. 23/10/2025: Seems to be only a haven for racist and fascist ideologies. Walking down the street, I took off a sticker for an openly fascist political party on a pole near the cafe. Almost immediately, three men ran out from the cafe, dressed in clothes that indicated they worked there. They screamed at me, threatened me, and intimated that they had put up the sticker. I have no idea if the owner holds these views or is aware that at least three people working there do so, but it certainly casts doubt on the cafe’s name and reputation.

Although everything is very good – breakfast, lunch, and snacks – the competition is very high here in Cork regarding cafes and snack bars. A few years ago, you wouldn't see a cafe like this anywhere else, so to speak! Now they're everywhere. What I mean is that this cafe, called Noir, needs to create its own brand, its own specialty, so that people become interested and identify with it. I hope it stays open for a long time and I wish it the best of luck in its future endeavors.

31/08/2025: Best of luck to the new owners hopefully they have more respect to their regulars who came week in week out. Planned to come at 3 which was original planned for them to change to 6 pm and them refuse us at door because the lynches said it was too busy. They were well able to take my money when tumble weed was blowing across bar.

23/04/2025: My favourite Pub in town!!! Super friendly Staff!!! A warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a great selection of beers at fair prices. It’s always a pleasure to stop by! I do miss the Cotton Ball beers (hope it makes a return soon)! Overall, just a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy a drink.

20/07/2025: LO MEJOR. La pizza era increíble y el personal era tan agradable. Entramos para un pedido en persona y de alguna manera me las arreglé para perder un piercing mío. El personal lo encontró para mí y fue tan amable la noche. No podíamos habernos sentido más cómodos y la piazza estaba deliciosa. Lo revisaremos.

28/12/2025: If you are tired and hungry after visiting the castle and its giant garden, this place is perfect stop for refreshing lunch or dinner. They have traditional irish dishes including Irish stew. It was really well made and delicious and we really needed such a treat after spending hours walking around Blarney gardens in cold december day. Staff was friendly and service was super fast altough the place was almost full.

17/01/2025: Had a Irish ham, salad sandwich , which was fine and tasty. Also choose a spiced apple slice, equally as fine and tasty!
