The best restaurants in Cork city council

21/06/2025: I've been coming to Cafe Eco for coffee and a bit of work for several months now, and honestly they deserve more than 5 stars! The staff are absolutely fantastic, and the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. Colette, the manager, is especially lovely always friendly, attentive, and helpful. The entire team consistently goes above and beyond every single day. What started as a spot to work from has now become one of my favorite places to just relax, enjoy the great vibes, sip amazing coffee, and indulge in their delicious sandwiches. Highly recommend!

29/06/2025: Brian was an excellent host, professional and and attentive. His knowledge of drinks on offer and suggestions of choice by our descriptions were top notch. I highly recommend the bar at Clayton Silver Springs for any drink conisour.

Theres one girl with a serious attitude problem , customer service appauling from her all rush , rush , rush stressed out of her head. Strange , id say shes a right treat at home , wont be going there anymore after the way i was spoken too , especially after choosing to spend 50 euro there . The way she spoke , how someone would employ a fool like that , Ill never know 🙄

08/06/2025: The most slow service bar I have ever experienced.In my life.Across continents.They clearly serve locals first,even locals acknowledged it.And it was not even busy.Dont waste your time going here.I only went as at a party.The service is REALLY slow.

04/06/2025: Please teach your rude staff how to talk to customers (specially with ladies). We order from this outlet very regularly because they serve delicious food but my wife had an unpleasant experience with the staff member today while placing the order. The Burrito and Taco were very tasty though. But we will give it a second thought before going here again next time. We don't want to have a bad experience before having food.

23/04/2025: Very well known pub, I have been a few times for a couple pints of Murphy’s and I was delighted myself, is a pub with his own loyal customers and every week with live music I always remember this pub here in cork and looks like is a pub to be here for many years to come I hope so.

24/06/2025: We had a lovely meal in the Tung Sing! The food was fabulous and the service prompt, friendly and efficient. A great range of food and a really great value early bird menu.

30/05/2025: Waitress was so rude and food was awful, you could tell the oil hadn’t been changed in days. The girl acted like it was bothering her that she had to do her job, she shouted across the bar talking about how “manky” a group of customers were to another coworker, didn’t come check on us once to see if we liked the food and when i asked her could i get the sauce on the side for the food i was ordering she rolled her eyes and said no. She also had to ask the table next to us what was on the menu because she didn’t know herself. She got their food wrong and tried to convince them that was what the ordered and what they wanted wasn’t on the menu when it was! Food was drenched in oil, soggy in some parts and dry in others. I didn’t know it was possible for food to be both dry and greasy at the same time.

14/04/2025: A true Irish pub, here you can say it is 100% Irish, Irish food is served here and of course a full Irish breakfast, and I can tell after the full Irish breakfast you don’t need food for the rest of the day, but it all depends on how much money you intend to spend.

10/07/2025: Staff are so friendly. The reviews saying otherwise must be expecting a foot massage whilst having their coffee. Paul the owner is an absolute gentleman, his engagement with customers is fantastic. Coffee is always great. Well done 🙏🏼
