24/07/2024: Nice pub. Good atmosphere. Service was pretty slow, but there was a birthday party so I'm willing to believe that was the reason. The problem for me was the lack of vegetarian options: the only vegetarian options were a plate of pesto pasta and 2 pizzas. As an Italian visiting Ireland, I'm not going to a "traditional Irish pub" to eat Italian food. I expected at least one slightly typical vegetarian option (even a burger would have made it tbh). My boyfriend's stew was excellent though. Fair prices for a fancy Irish pub. Big extra point for the desserts which were excellent.

21/05/2025: La primera vez que vienes con un amigo. He oído hablar de este lugar durante años en Cork. Trató con dos miembros del personal, Nathan y Rodríguez. Tuve un problema muy pequeño y ambos fueron educados, respetuosos y súper eficientes al tratar de rectificar un problema pequeño. Servicio al cliente muy impresionante. La comida era fresca y muy agradable. Volveré y recomendaré tanto para el servicio, como para la comida. Servicio al cliente realmente profesional. .

18/06/2025: I was genuinely shocked by what I witnessed at Gym Plus Cork in Mahon Point during my recent visit. A female member was working out in what was essentially a bikini bra and shorts so short and see-through that her private areas were clearly visible as she walked around and during squats. This level of exposure is completely inappropriate for any public gym, and it created an uncomfortable atmosphere for others, myself included. Even more disturbing was the fact that there were adolescents present at the time. In my view, this goes beyond poor judgement — it amounts to public indecency, and I believe the Gardaí should be made aware. Gym Plus urgently needs to enforce a clear and reasonable dress code to ensure a respectful, safe, and professional environment for all members, including families and young people. This kind of negligence is unacceptable.

05/06/2025: Lovely and affordable place to go for a friendly Lunch or evening date with your significant other. Staff makes you feel welcome and the atmosphere is naturally vibrant. I will definitely visit again.

20/05/2025: Good restaurant. The pizza was really good. The base is very thin and crispy, reminiscent of tarte flambée. The staff was super friendly! I highly recommend it.

07/06/2025: The restaurant is a nice setting off the lobby of hotel. I didn't think the food was anything special, but the service provided by the staff was excellent.

26/05/2025: Beautiful restaurant, staff are warm and attentive. Lunch menu is small but perfectly formed, covers lighter bites and a more substantial meal. The stuffed chicken breast was 11/10. Lovely for a group catch up or solo dining. I will be back!

12/01/2025: I am ABSOLUTELY APPALLED by the service my family member got today !! We are regulars for years and that is the way they were treated today, and for it the be the owner to have that reaction towards a regular customer is an absolute disgrace. The ladies that work there are fantastic they always greet you with a smile, but safe to say because of the owner!! they will NOT be getting a thing from us after that. I’m sickened!!

13/10/2024: It is trange we came at 16:28 to eat their grate soup, but their staff lady sad that it is only take away service👀, but there are was a lot of other people sitting and having food inside, free places was too. Very strange why they didn’t want see us as clients inside 🤷‍♀️

22/04/2025: I had a great time at Old Reliable Irish Pub! I picked it off Google just wanting a quick pint, and I am so glad I did. It use to be a Mens only pub 20 years ago. 14/04/2025: Starbucks came to Cork to stay and came at the right time, bringing added value to Cork City. These multinationals are spread all over the world, this is very positive for Cork. Anyone can open a Starbucks, they just have to pay the franchise fee, and then the sky's the limit. Whoever acquires a Starbucks franchise has a great advantage: it has a well-known name, has been in the market for many years, doesn't have to prove anything in terms of quality, and it's almost like having half a house already built.
