The Plaza
Cork
05/09/2026: 2 over cooked buns on burgers - i had worked out the bill would be about 65 but when my husband went to pay it was nearly 82 - when I looked at receipt it just says open food for everything- I think a portion of chips was a fiver - v over priced for what we got- will not be back - no one in restaurant at 1.45pm on a sat!!!!
05/09/2026: Food is just about average both mind and the wifes burger buns were hard side salad was roughly about a teaspoon of coleslaw and few bits of lettuce burger was small for a steak burger daughter's pizza the pepperoni was burnt plus the place looks very dated inside very expensive for what we got would have been better of going to dinos around the corner will definitely not be going back staff were friendly is the only positive tng about the place

30/09/2026: Crispy chilli beef was beautiful! My buddy had the 4 in 1 and said it was delicious. Thanks Jumbo!
01/09/2026: Great meals in general, the spice bag is on the saltier side, but still very solid, definetly one of the best takeaways in the city.

Aye
Cork
26/06/2026: We had a lovely meal but I would steer clear of the Pil Pil dish. €18 and we got 5 prawns. This was also supposed to be a sharing dish so we made sure we enjoyed our 2.5 prawns each!
19/06/2026: Fantastic restaurant and Bar. Live music and the atmosphere is vibrant. Definitely worth visiting!

Maureen's
Cork
09/10/2026: Super charming and already one of my favorites. The perfect spot for an HSP that seeks hygge vibes 🤍
02/10/2026: No just no!
As close to the League of Gentlemen as you’ll ever find.
If I had 6 fingers I may have got in.
Horrible place.
Worse people.
Just avoid at all costs.

McDonald's
Cork
22/10/2026: Another MacDonalds but we macs are loving it .recent refurbishment has made this macdonals the most uncomfortable fast food outlet i have ever sat in my life except for winthorp street in city centre far from loving it my bottom was numb.
15/10/2026: You get so many average takeaway fries 🫣 you had to wait so long for an order that everything was cold.

Milano
Cork
14/10/2026: Veg and chicken salad was lovely thanks - tiny portion though for 20 e
No garlic pizza dip available as the restaurant “ran out” - that was disappointing
Service was very slow as other guests have pointed out
Staff were very nice - I think they just need more staff to speed service up in the kitchen and on the floor
The food is expensive but that would be OK if there was a quicker turnaround
Thanks
13/10/2026: The girl at reception assumed we were delivery guys, even though we had neither a bike nor a rider’s jacket or delivery bag. The way she judged us without any reasonable basis felt bad.

Nectar Coffee
Cork
06/10/2026: Very nice staff. Very nice coffee.
19/09/2026: Poor rate as the amount of coffee is very little, I asked for large Americano , the waiter brought small size , I ask to change to large size, she filled the small cup in a large cup then added hot water, I ask her you should do a new one or add coffee, she said the small and large size are the same 2 shots of coffee but the difference is the hot waler amount , not recommended at all . If there is zero rating I would give them 0

SOMA 2
Cork
07/08/2026: Great coffee, nice staff, seating right under the trees. All they got is paper cups though. I'd give more stars if they served coffee in proper mugs.
05/08/2026: Best coffee in Cork ! Nice outdoor seating, for when the weather is fine.

McDonald's
Cork
08/09/2026: Worst McDonald's I've ever visited , hands down!
There seems to be an issue every time . This time , I gave an order 3 times at the drive thru . The girl could not understand through the intercom so I drove to the window , repeated my order and she still got it wrong . Why would you put a person that can't understand orders in English on an order window !!
I'll drive to other branches in future
15/08/2026: Thanks McDonalds for putting wrap of the day behind the horrible app. Also under impression chicken selects are becoming more like a batter selects. Seems like some cover cost savings are going on instead of raising prices... 🤔
