05/09/2025: Ordered a steak wrap last night in douglas branch, about x2 strips of steak, more of a lettuce wrap really, not good value for money at all. Same thing happend before with a chicken wrap even orderd double! Both in take away experiences. I wont be going again! As its a waste of time and money. Still hungry.

05/10/2025: A very inspiring well curated breakfast/brunch menu and very reasonably priced. There are vegetarian and gluten free options, and they are happy to adjust a dish to make it fully vegan if you ask the server .
A very cozy atmosphere with warm lights , fireplace and lots of plants and cushions makes you want to relax and sip cocktails for the rest of your Sunday .
The service was friendly, attentive and informative and knowledgeable about allergens on the menu , which was resurging as one of us is a celiac.
A perfect spot for a lazy Sunday catch-up with friends or family , you ll want to try everything on the menu !

28/06/2025: I have been travelling Ireland for a month now. Stopped there for a coffee. The staff is the less friendly I have encountered in the whole Ireland, the tables outside were dirty and still had the coffee from previous people. No wifi for guests (people sometimes go to coffee shops to work). Positive aspect is that the coffee was great and the little sweet I bought too.

16/06/2025: Ristorante tipicamente nord europeo, senza tante apparecchiature, ma con cibo molto buono. Abbiamo mangiato fish&Chips, ben fatto, fritto bene, non unto, ma croccante e leggero. Ottimo anche l'irish coffe. Le porzioni sono abbondanti, tant'è che ci siamo limitati al solo main course, saltando apetizer e dessert. Prezzi nella norma della tipologia di ristorante. Consigliato

09/07/2025: Started off great, our food was really good, our waitress was great to start with but must have been busy or distracted. We asked for wine and had to remind her, same for coffees at the end. A minor complaint, the ambience and pleasantness of the place and staff was excellent.

11/09/2025: I hate doing this, I know it's hard to make a food business work. But hygiene is a non negotiable and the condition of the toilet was so bad we couldn't let the kids use them. There was so much dirt on the wall under the hand drier there were clumps of black mould sprouting from it. In a food business that's a serious danger. I thought long and hard about whether I'd post this review, but I think it's important both to highlight for owners to improve and customers to be informed.

I've being in a lot of KFCs and this one was by far the best I've being in.
The food was excellent and not the usual greasy experience I've had in others and the portion of chips was far more than other kfc franchises.
It was spotless clean

25/09/2025: Haven't got Barties in along time,i got it on a random night passing 2wks back and food was savage,got it tonight aswell and was worth putting in the review,a notified 40 mins delivery time through online order which was on time, lovely grub 👍
29/08/2025: There isn't many traditional chip shops left in Cork but barties ,is one of the very few left around, for both local and visitors alike is well worth a visit, I highly recommend the quarter burger, one of the best you ever eat, and really friendly staff

She was chatty and polite offered us iced water with our lunch,
so annoyed I didn’t get her name.
But we will be back
The soup and salad bagel were delicious and for €21,90 we were full all day.

17/09/2025: Nice book store. But I expected a little better of a selection than what they had for a bookstore a big and centrally located. I know the bookstore business can be tough, but I expected a little more than this. We were even looking for a specific book that was listed as available on their website. The staff were kind enough to look it up, but once they found that they didn't have it in stock they just stopped. They didn't offer to order it in or explain how we could order it on the website. Nothing. Just "no we don't have it." So that was also a little disappointing on the customer service front.
