14/06/2025: Another small Irish pub to enjoy a pint at. Hot in there.

23/04/2025: Brilliant stop there by accident and drink a coca-cola but the pub was a good few people inside like local people but they joke with me all ready because I was ask for coca - cola I was driving, I would like to stay there for a few pints I could see I will enjoy a lot I know the cork people it’s great laugh good craic but I will pass there someday for sure.

10/07/2025: I was in here before the Celtic match. The place was mobbed but the staff were superb at getting people served. A good boozer with a good atmosphere and a decent pint of Murphys.

24/06/2025: Nice bar and the beer was above average but maybe they could do with a visit from the dispense teams to bring it up to top notch standard. Overall it is a pub that if you are close by you won't be disappointed.

16/06/2025: We had a dinner reservation for 3 people and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. We waited over an hour for our food with little to no communication from the staff. Service was inattentive throughout and the waitress assigned to our table had an awful attitude and even mimicked us in a mocking way which was completely unprofessional. People who arrived after us were served before us. I think our food was forgotten about and sat out for a while as when they brought it out it was stone cold, soggy and no freshness whatsoever Toward the end of the meal, another staff member came to check in on us and was very kind which we appreciated but unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing Definitely not the level of service or quality you’d expect when eating out !!

26/06/2025: I know authentic Chinese dimsum and this is the best I've had in Europe, and I lived a bit everywhere. All of it seemed freshly made and was as good as one can possibly hope. Salt and pepper squid was the best I ever had, including in China!

30/05/2025: Easily the best Chinese restaurant in the city. Could not recommend this place enough. It deserves far more recognition.

23/07/2025: Dropped in for a few cocktails. Love music, great atmosphere, and cocktails only 10 Euro a go (2025) which is good for Cork.

20/07/2025: I might be a bit old fashioned but when I go out for something to eat, I usually tell the server what I want. If I’m eating a sandwich or a burger and I want something left out, I usually ask the server to leave it out. This kind of request would be common enough. Businesses usually give their paying customers what they want, servers usually do their jobs with the paying customer in mind etc. The kitchen here — supposedly — doesn’t entertain people who want to leave something out of their burger or sandwich or make changes to what’s stated on their menu. It’s a simple request that I’m sure many people regularly ask for. A lot of the staff in here could do with a refresher course on how the world works. There is some seriously pig-ignorant behaviour going on in this place towards the public. While we ate, we saw a Spanish woman standing at the smaller bar for over 5 minutes while 6-7 of them walked in and out numerous times, blatantly avoiding eye contact and ignoring her, before she eventually asked someone for a drink. Only then was she told go to to the main bar for service. There are no signs or anything to warn people of the fact that it’s not a service area, and the rudeness of it all was simply disgusting to watch. For a bar that does so much sloganeering to appeal to a certain cohort of infantilised adults, it’s not surprising to see that so many of their own staff behave like spoilt brats.

13/07/2025: Nice location to walk the city. The service was great. I was going to switch to a smaller room, since my husband and son had to leave early and they just told me to just stay in the current room at no extra charge. Super accommodating.

12/07/2025: Great hotel in a central location in Cork city Staff are friendly and attentive. Special mention for Nicola at breakfast as she was so helpful and lovely. Rooms are very comfortable and beds equally so. Hope to return soon.

19/07/2025: Weird situation here. I just wanted to order a pizza inside the restaurant. they began asking me for personal data such as a full name and phone number. When I refused, they refused to take an order. Is it even legal? The food is great anyway. Update after Domino’s pizza response to this review: They wouldn’t sell me a pizza if I didn’t provide my last name. Please respect customers privacy and write the truth, thank you🙂

05/07/2025: This"Chinese" food is truly awful!!! Absolutely the worst Chinese meal I've ever had, and I've been on this earth for 58 years now. So that's saying something. The waiter did NOT take my meal off the bill, so I paid them over 20 euros to dump it in the trash. Or maybe back in the pot - I'm not sure.

30/04/2025: Great little restaurant with excellent food. Amongst us we had several Chinese restaurant 'classics' catering to the carnivores, vegetarians and kids and they were all really good. Friendly, efficient service on a busy evening (big hurling match just finished). Re. the comments about no alcohol licence, perhaps that has changed because we most certainly had beer with our meal. We were only visiting the city but we'll be back when we next visit.

15/07/2025: The planes weren't necessarily on time, but that's okay, the crew was very welcoming and homophobes were frowned upon.

18/06/2025: We enjoyed our experience here. The pizza was good, and the nachos were great. Bartenders David and Amy went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We would happily go back.

28/06/2025: I popped into Costa the staff were lovely and attentive but the place is very “tired” and run down, it is in need of painting and furniture update throughout as there are stains etc. I have to say the bathrooms were very bad, there is a lot of damp and mould and there was excrement on the wall. There was a man having a full blown one on one online session with a client in the cafe which was very off putting and inappropriate of him, understandably staff had no control over this, I have often worked “silently” on my laptop in a Costa but being part of somebody’s meeting was bizarre.

29/04/2025: Very nice coffee place. Very clean. Varsity of cakes and coffees. Really nice atmosphere.

20/05/2025: Ordered various items from this bakery, customer service was top class, everything tasted great and was freshly made. Best gluten free bakery I have ever been to. Couldn’t ask for anymore !!!

07/05/2025: I got a cake and a brownie delivered for my mothers birthday and the service was incredible lovely baked goods and they had very nice packaging and sent me a thank you note along with a note for my mother that I had asked to say love you for her birthday overall im impressed with the service and would definitely go back especially if you have dietary restrictions like my brother does (hence why I gjt a gluten free cake so he can eat it) should highly recommend 🎂
