The best restaurants in Cork city council

16/09/2025: Excellent food at an affordable. Paul was incredibly welcoming and gave us valuable travel advice. If we ever return to Cork, we will definitely put Three Little Piggies at the top of our itenerary. Thanks Paul!

12/10/2025: Waited at counter for 10 min server Did not even greet me. Understood she was busy but a hello let’s someone know your aware of them. Has dropped a lot since I was last here.

29/10/2025: Spacious overall, with a new layout at the till area. Plenty of car parking outside. Toilet facilities available for patrons.

28/09/2025: The Imperial Hotel is a classic Irish hotel with plenty of charm. My room was comfortable and fairly spacious, and I especially liked the bathroom interiors; they had a nice touch of elegance (wish I’d remembered to get a video of them!). 🛁 That said, my room was located in the basement, with a view directly into other rooms, which wasn’t the most inviting. At €220 per night (without breakfast), the value felt a little off for what was offered. The big plus here is the central location, it’s right in the heart of Cork, making it really easy to explore the city. Overall, a decent stay if location is your top priority, though there are a few trade-offs. Ratings: 🛏️ Room Comfort & Design: 3.5/5 🛎 Service & Ambience: 4/5 💸 Money’s Worth: 3/5

09/07/2025: Started off great, our food was really good, our waitress was great to start with but must have been busy or distracted. We asked for wine and had to remind her, same for coffees at the end. A minor complaint, the ambience and pleasantness of the place and staff was excellent.

20/08/2025: It is a bit pricey. I ordered a sandwich which took a while to get into understand as it was busy but I legit was able to go to another place to get a coffee and come back. Then the sandwich I had was medicore. I actually can't remember what it is called it had ham in it and cheese i think and it was the sourdough bread

24/09/2025: Disgusting and Disgraceful………how these people can get away with advertising themselves as a fish and chip shop……the fish was so tough I thought of bringing it home to make a school shoes for me kid…..the chips were dry and tasteless…….oh never again…..I wouldn’t walk past this excuse for a chipper……let alone eat from it………….stay away…..you’ve been warned
