03/04/2025: A hidden treasure in the city to grab a cup of coffee with a friend. Nestled in amongst the small shops at Winthrop arcade, Cocoa is a fantastic independent coffee shop to support in a Cork City.

08/01/2025: Always meant to visit this café and safe to say it will be the first and last. The café is cramped, tables outside but it's shared with another popular café and it's within a narrow hallway so it's not appealing. Café has an upcharge for dairy alternatives/plant drinks, predatory to those with dietary sensitivities. No toilet facilities on site. They claim their hot chocolates are made with 'real chocolate' but it was powdered chocolate. Gritty after taste and it was nothing special, for the price point we were expecting more. Tables were dirty, with some patrons clearing tables to get a table to sit at. Service staff were busy and were kind enough to bring out our beverages outside the shop as there isn't sufficient space to wait inside.

05/04/2025: Nice place to start a night out of your getting of the train. Service is very good just hand one or two pints and cocktails for her self. Service is very good.

03/04/2025: Was excited to come in and try a Zambrero burrito and was firstly met with the girl who was working at the desk not even noticing me standing at the desk for about 5 minutes as she was on her phone faced away.... when she realized, there was of course no apology and a half witted what can i get you...instantly I knew what i had signed up for. The whole ordering process was grueling and it felt as though I was imposing on her day. The burrito itself was just a mess, it was 90% rice which was cold and bland. It was wrapped like an infant did it and honestly I was livid having spent 15 euro. Save your losses and go to the better spot in the city. Management need to have a talk with that rude staff member who is reading this and knows who they are!!!

28/03/2025: I am extremely disappointed. I placed an order on Just Eat for Zambrero which was showing as ONLINE, only for the order to be changed for delivery the next day. If a restaurant cannot accept orders, it should be marked as OFFLINE! This is incredibly frustrating and disrespectful. Now, an hour later, I have to start all over again. This is unacceptable.

13/02/2025: Típicamente un lugar encantador y uno que tendría nombres de una de las mejores pizzas en corcho, pero gracias al gerente (Ciara) nunca pedirá desde aquí de nuevo. Tono grosero y terrible la comida se enfrió incluso que viven a poca distancia y no hay satisfacción solo un gerente que no conseguiría un trabajo para la peor empresa de servicios al cliente que existe

22/03/2025: I ordered the massaman curry and the pad thai from here and it was by far the best pad thai I've had. The massaman curry was also amazing. I'll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend.

24/12/2024: The Massaman curry was very good and I did expect that considering the chef was from Malaysia. Other items are good as well and the seafood seemed fresh. One thing I did not like is the serving bowls, it is quite hard to eat from it. Hope they can change it to something tried and tested. Overall would recommend for east Asian food in the black market.

15/04/2025: We have rarely eaten such good Indian food. For our taste it was excellent. The Batura is not on the menu, but was freshly prepared especially for us.

15/01/2025: A really lovely and unexpected find. I was invited to a small gathering on a January night. There was a roaring fire, dim lights, lovely ecor and cosy comfy seating. There's no food served, just drinks, but all served with a smile and no fuss. I'd definitely return.

14/04/2025: True Irish pub here you can say 100% Irish, Irish food is served here and of course a full Irish breakfast, and I can tell after the full Irish breakfast you don’t need food for the rest of the day, but it all depends on how much money you intend to spend.

18/02/2025: The best Chinese take away in Cork. Really good Chinese take away, food always arrives piping hot and they used good meat in their dishes. Curry , satay and Kung Pao chicken have been great. Really nice family run business.

17/03/2025: Got some coffee from McDonald's as there were long ques elsewhere. The coffee was cold and tasted burnt.
