Some years back it used to be great coffee and good pastries. Then they changed to cheap coffee over covid and the quality never improved again, although with the shift towards bakery it was still a good spot, with subpar coffee but great pastries.
Every now and then that nostalgia will bring me back but today I paid a fortune for a carrot & rocket sandwich in stale bread to a cashier that didn't really want us there.
I hope whatever the new location is will bring back the old standards.
17/11/2024: My go to place for pastries - cinnamon bun, coffee walnut bun, almond croissant, the cookies… I’ve had them here many times and was never disappointed.

04/10/2025: Poor/Disrespectful Service
I was there, and the service was terrible. It was a cold day, with several girls at the table getting cold from the wind. It took over 25 minutes to turn on the heater. They turned it on gradually, but they didn't even notice where we were. It was disrespectful. I asked if it was broken, and they said it wasn't, but they didn't.
It took a while to clear the plates, and because it was a large table 12 people, the waitresses seemed to disappear.
I don't recommend it...
07/09/2025: All came together perfect food was wonderful. My only knock was the parking. Otherwise I enjoyed every moment.

25/07/2025: Sag aloo is amazing. Peshwari naan is great but much sweeter than it usually is, so depends on your preference. Dal tarka is a bit spicy for me but the flavour is really nice.

08/10/2025: Total rip off and should be avoided at all costs. Do yourself and your wallet a favour and go elsewhere. There are loads of better options unless you want to pay €30 for a mediocre burger and small fries and drink.

20/10/2025: I visited at 14:40 and ordered a Whopper. I asked if it could be cut in half, but the staff member(girl) at the counter responded in a surprisingly disrespectful tone, saying they don’t have knives to do that. I was genuinely shocked by the attitude. I believe that along with food service, basic courtesy and customer service manners should be a priority. This experience was disappointing.

13/10/2025: Had a good experience in Foam the couple of times we’ve visited. Really nice atmosphere. My baby daughter joined both times and staff were so helpful and accommodating. Nice food too - a positive addition to Terenure!

28/10/2025: Food was awful - 20€ for a half a chicken breast in a week old bun and a handful of over cooked horrible chips. Staff were friendly but the food was so unacceptable - such a shame how downhill this restaurant has gone. Defiantly my last time eating there.

11/10/2025: Lovely place at Blackrock market with delicious food and great atmosphere. The food is delicious and prepared with love and care. My favorite is vegan stew. Good selection of delicious and freshly made cakes. I highly recommend this place.

06/10/2025: A wide selection of coffee beans, which you can either pick up ready-made or have roasted right for you. The only inconvenience is that when you order coffee to go, it's always piping hot. In good establishments, coffee is ready to drink right away.
