The best restaurants in Dublin

03/08/2025: We were not allowed to enter because one of my friends was wearing sportswear, we all have normal jobs and were intending to have a pint. DISCRIMINATION based on appearance. Shame and disrespect together with rudeness from the manager. At the same time security manager was smoking vape while talking to us (apparently it was ok according to their policies). The lowest hospitality standard I saw in Dublin.

18/07/2025: Just illegal behaviour, not allowing me to pay cash that the ATM gave me 'just because'. It is illegal to refuse taking cahs, that, and I was refused to be served when I told them. I'm not surprised that the previous company that owned that place went bankrupt. I wanted to buy drinks and pay, and I was refused because of using a 100 euro.

09/02/2025: Semi self service, industrial finish ..all part of design. Food fresh n fantastic ,great staff friendly..

08/04/2025: Great atmosphere. Julie mcCabe sings here on Monday nights 7 -10pm and she is absolutely brilliant. Everyone is welcome to sing and Julie gives great support. Always a great night. Spin the wheel is great fun too. 😀

04/02/2025: Owners are very friendly people as is the staff the pint is only 5 euros £5 50c if you pay by card witch is good by me cash is king customers great craic a real Dublin pub in James street

08/10/2025: Very good food, the menu changes everyday. Prices are alright for the portion you get. I got the morrocon chicken tenders with couscous which was 7 euro and it was so refreshing and nice. The queue was quite long though and many of the seats were taken up

06/10/2025: The overall experience is positive but there is a lot of food and service quality issues here. The food ranges from good to poor and it's like a lotto depending on which chef is working. The catering staff are inexperienced, some of them have no idea how to prepare food so you sometimes get very sloppy serving and inconsistent portion size depending on who is serving you so there is no "standard". The final thing is, and usually it would be fine but considering this is a food business in a university catering to students, it's terrible that they are earning tens of thousands a day from students but yet still charge .30 cent fee for takeout boxes + .50 cent for wooden cutlery with every purchase!

13/09/2025: Their coffee used to be great, But it has really gone downhill. The mocha more like a plain latte with almost no chocolate flavour, maybe it was because of a new barista.

09/11/2025: Akhil made our night. It was my partner's birthday and we were starved after an evening in Dublin and looking for somewhere very late to eat. He never made us feel like we were imposing despite the closeness to closing. We were asked after getting food if we would be interested in ordering anything else before the kitchen closed, they quite literally kept it open until we made up our minds. They also catered to the tastes of the older french tourists with us who only wanted light meals, and we're just super accommodating in every sense. There was never a rush on us, the food was absolutely amazing on top of it then, plus the tourists want to go back so total success. Thank you to Akhil and the other servers and kitchen staff for making our brief visit so memorable!

11/11/2025: This place has gone to the dogs since it changed ownership. If you are looking for Chinese near Cabra go to Thaido or Pearl River instead.

01/11/2025: Got the 9" Kabo box it didn't disappoint everything was so fresh and the salt and chilli fish bites are delicious I will be back for them. That box fed 3 of us there was some over too

27/11/2025: Like the food was stale and pieces of plastic were inside it and there was a rat outside near the counter. U gotta check that out cuz that was acc rank.

15/07/2025: This is the second time that happens, its 18.40 and is closed already when is showing that in fact it should be closing at 19.00. The last time that I will go here. The worst service ever.

14/07/2025: Arrived 6.35pm. Opening hours on door says open until 7pm. Worker inside door said closed early. Save your money for a reliable business.

10/10/2025: There is a lot of discrimination in this pub, they don't let foreigners in normally dressed and speaking English.

11/10/2025: One of the worst experiences I have had, and I didn’t even try their food. We waited just under 20 minutes before someone came to our table, and that was after I had to go up to the host and ask if we could order. Keeping our 5yo entertained was not easy. When we then said that my wife was a coeliac the waitress said everything on their menu had gluten in it. Literally no options for a Coeliac. This made no sense as they had chicken, salads. Their burgers must be terrible, if they have flour in them! We left immediately, and they couldn’t care less. As we left we saw others with food and it looked cheap and nasty. Avoid at all costs

29/09/2025: Food is normally amazing just a few times recently it’s tasted like quite a bit worse when the food is good I’d recommend with flying colours

06/11/2025: All good. This place is highly crowded on weekends. Parking is available.

06/11/2025: The crew is very disrispectful!! The night security guard, a skinny security was cursing me all the time, he said a lot of bad word to my mom and my daughter. It was horrible! How a company this big let a monster like that work in there? I will never come back to this place again.

05/11/2025: Avoid! My burger bun had mould on it.
