02/08/2026: Manager Param does not care about your food, he laughed when I asked would it arrive hot 🤮 no more ordering from these bad attitude people ….. there are loads of other pizza delivery places in our town!

26/06/2026: Insomnia Coffee is a great spot for a variety of food, breakfast or lunch. We ended up eating there twice in 2 different locations. Pastries, hot food, made to order and allergy friendly. It was a pleasant surprise. GF, DF options.

05/06/2026: D'olier street at O'connell bridge- Please train your staff properly on how to make coffee and provide good customer service. Today I ordered a soya matcha with one shot of coffee, and unfortunately the drink was made incorrectly from start to finish. Before steaming the milk, the staff member did not purge the steam wand. She also appeared unfamiliar with basic milk-texturing technique and how to handle the milk jug correctly. I specifically requested the drink extra hot, but it was served cold. The drink was then assembled incorrectly, with the milk poured into the cup first, followed by the coffee and the matcha on top. As a paying customer, I expect a well-made drink and efficient service before heading to work. Instead, I received a disappointing coffee and very slow service, which completely ruined my morning. I would appreciate it if you could provide better training for your staff, both in barista skills and in listening carefully to customer requests. Attention to detail and good service make a huge difference to the customer experience.

29/06/2026: Calling this “healthy” is misleading. It’s made with sugary strawberry (or mango) flavoured ice cream and reconstituted fruit juice, so don’t be fooled by the marketing.

07/08/2026: The Slipper is a proper local with a great cosy atmosphere and also one of the best pints of Guinness around. It’s got an authentic old-school pub feel so perfect to sink a few pints in 👍🏻

06/09/2026: disappointed and very disgusting customer service of this branch and so called pizza as well. i make a call to straight away to manager and try to explain the situation and complain about the pizza that you deliver me a wrong pizza without listen me he just hang up. very very disrespectful

01/09/2026: Do not order for delivery.. got the spice box, which usually costs €14.50. I wasn't expecting much, but the box was half empty.. half.. empty. If I got that for collection I would refuse it. You can't show a medium sized pizza box on the app and then only fill it half way??!! Ridiculous. Especially for that price. To add to the pain, it came very cold.. the pizza was piping hot but not the spice box? Nice.. cool.. The only reason it's not 1 star is because the pizza was actually decent.. and hot.

14/08/2026: We ate at the sit down restaurant as the food truck wasn’t running the day we visited. Enjoyed delicious chips with our cajun calamari, scampi prawns, and haddock. Everything was tasty and fresh and would happily dine with them again.

14/08/2026: This place has gone to the dogs unfortunately. I don't know if it's changed ownership, or changed suppliers, but it's terrible now. I used to order from here on a monthly basis as a treat. It was very cheap and very tasty, now it is neither. The last few times I've ordered from here, the food was inedible, so much so that I actually threw it out and cooked a pizza from the freezer. I ordered a meal deal yesterday, It was 30 euro for the same meal deal that used to be about 20, but no drink included anymore. The meat tasted like it was expired, and the veg was greasy. The garlic bread was a soggy mess and they put cheese on it, even though I didn't order cheese, they also forgot the chili flakes I requested. The garlic mayo doesn't taste like garlic or mayo anymore and was hotter than the pizza, I don't even know what the sauce was but it wasn't garlic mayo, it was like someone had put a load of salt in gelatinous white goop. I essentially paid 32 euro to have a share size bottle of coke delivered because it was the only thing that was consumable. I don't now what happened, but this is not the pizza max I used to order from.

25/08/2026: This is a neighbourhood gem, especially if you need a birthday cake. I’m not sure people are aware that this bakery can make the most beautiful (and custom) birthday cakes. I have made several last minute requests for Victoria sponge, cream, strawberry birthday cakes and every time, they are so helpful, nothing is a problem and they create delicious cakes! This time though, I had a very special request for a 2 year old birthday cake, much more extravagant. Once again, they were so helpful. Denise jumped on the phone with me to discuss, send me some pictures of options and just went above and beyond. Just LOOK at this gorgeous cake!!!! 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Denise and team, I’ll be ordering all my cakes from you in the future.

18/09/2026: Everyone working here was so sweet, and treated my kids so well! My toddler got a little tour of behind the counter and was allowed to press some buttons on the coffee maker :) They even gave him some juice and chocolate. We shared a full Irish breakfast with tea, and it was delicious and hardy. Some of the best sausage I've had. What's more, there was wifi for customers! I highly recommend.

24/09/2026: I’ve been to this café a number of times and have always really liked the food and coffee, which is why I was particularly disappointed by my most recent visit. It was around 2.30pm and I ordered an oat latte to take away and ended up waiting close to 10 minutes. I completely understand that cafés can get busy and that staff may be new or still learning, but unfortunately the coffee seemed to lack some of the basic preparation you would expect from an established café. The milk was being steamed for quite a long time and was making a very high-pitched screeching sound, and when the latte was poured there was a noticeable amount of space left at the top of the cup. Chocolate was also added to the top despite me not ordering it, and when I asked for it to be remade without chocolate, there seemed to be some confusion. I’m actually a trained barista myself, so I appreciate that I may notice things that other customers wouldn’t necessarily pick up on, and I have no issue with someone being new or learning. My concern was more that they appeared to be working on the coffee machine without much support or supervision. I ended up asking for my money back as I was under time pressure, and there did not appear to be any acknowledgment from the other staff what was happening. Coffee is expensive these days and if you treat yourself to one you want it to be made properly.

11/09/2026: I was collecting a ‘too good to go bag’. The staff saw me coming at the door at 3.20pm. Turned her back to me after locking the door. Collecting was until 3.30pm. Unbelievably rude behaviour from the staff. So disappointing.

12/08/2026: Closed down by the FSAI. Food Safety Authority of Ireland... Read the report and it's shocking... Basically the kitchen is filthy, filthy, filthy... Old dirt and grime... How can the these people be in the food business... Should be banned and never allowed to serve food again....

10/08/2026: We went for breakfast, being a southern Indian restaurant, it didn't offer that great taste. The overall atmosphere wasn't good either may be because they moved and setting up. It's okay for once a while but better options, improved taste, service and cleaning might help to bring us back here again.
