30/08/2025: The customer is always right when you say no veg I mean no veg donor kebab that comes with chicken . When you know you know 😜

07/08/2025: The quality seems to have been going down for a while, but since its close we order anyway. Today though we orderd doners and they were absolutely inedible. Not sure if the meat is old or not stored properly, but I ended up binning the food and will not order from Romayos again. I wouldnt recomended anyone else eather.

22/08/2025: Great meal in there on a busy Saturday evening. The bruschetta had so much freshness and pesto I want to marry it. One main was stunning and had to take some home there was so much. The sea food linguini was brilliant with one on top for photos to friends! Few glasses of house red to assist it all go down. Fantastic Italian food in a great little spot.

05/08/2025: A low-end restaurant with tasteless dishes. A disgrace. The only positive note is the polite manager.

07/10/2025: Very disappointed with the decline in food quality. I used to get my lunch here a lot. However, recent experiences have been unsatisfactory. Today, we ordered the Crispy Chilli Chicken lunch deal and the rice was undercooked, vegetables were a mixed of both fresh and old. and the chicken tasted unpleasant.

06/09/2025: I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, the kebab was a huge disappointment. The meat was badly overcooked, dry, and tough, which made it almost inedible. On top of that, the flavor was awful — instead of being rich and savory, it tasted burnt and unpleasant. To make matters worse, the portion was shockingly small. The meal was supposed to be for two people, but it was not even enough for half a person! Overall, this was one of the most underwhelming dining experiences I’ve had, and I cannot recommend it.

15/07/2025: Premises a bit dark, could be brighter.

03/08/2025: We were not allowed to enter because one of my friends was wearing sportswear, we all have normal jobs and were intending to have a pint. DISCRIMINATION based on appearance. Shame and disrespect together with rudeness from the manager. At the same time security manager was smoking vape while talking to us (apparently it was ok according to their policies). The lowest hospitality standard I saw in Dublin.

18/07/2025: Just illegal behaviour, not allowing me to pay cash that the ATM gave me 'just because'. It is illegal to refuse taking cahs, that, and I was refused to be served when I told them. I'm not surprised that the previous company that owned that place went bankrupt. I wanted to buy drinks and pay, and I was refused because of using a 100 euro.

11/10/2025: Really nice food and very friendly staff. Great place and reasonable price.

28/09/2025: Staff are the biggest asset to the restaurant. Breakfast is ridiculously expensive for what it is. I was excited by the quality of the ingredients e.g hicks meat but they honestly have no idea what they are doing with them. I think the eggs were baked?? They looked too gross to eat for me personally. Such a shame but for €17.50 it was honestly a joke. Sorry. For 3 people having breakfast and coffees it somehow came to €68, won’t be back

28/07/2024: Nice design and great food: I ordered sausages and mashed potatoes without expecting much, and the dish was a very positive surprise! The venue has a nice design too, and there was overall a great atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, despite one slight issue: we were a party of 9, but only 8 chairs were prepared, and we had to wait quite a bit to get a 9th one.

25/07/2024: Absolutely delicious food. Group ordered a variety of dishes and everyone was very happy. Tomato salad was spectacular. Everything prepared with great skill. Highly recommend.

30/09/2025: Availed of a deal with ticket for play with two course meal beforehand. Staff were excellent and the choice of food very nice

29/09/2025: Great atmosphere, great location, but above all the staff are very friendly, as are the regulars. When my wife was suffering from a migraine while out, the staff kept the store open past closing so she could sit and wait for her medicine to kick in. From that time alone she has made tons of friends at the café both new and regulars, and I thank them for providing such a lovely environment for the local workers in the area. Also, in relation to a more recent 1 star complaint, I'm sorry you felt intimidated by the regulars at the cafe talking loudly. Maybe they were trying to talk over you, as you were being incredibly xenophobic & talking about all the "foreigners committing crimes and stealing jobs," and that's not the kind of person welcome in such a lovely establishment. Food for thought, lady 🤷‍♂️

23/08/2025: First time in this pub. A friend's band 'The Tango Lizards' were playing there in July 2025. Turned out to be a great spot. Very big bar and nice evening. They're playing again in this pub in September 2025 and we'll be back.
