25/05/2025: Staff are very good and make the hotel a good place to stay, Erica at reception is very good as is Susan in restaurant, food in restaurant is beautiful. Unfortunately the mattress we had was terrible, both our backs are killing us this morning and duvet way too heavy for a good sleep.only stayed 1 night so didn't even bother complaining but would not have slept on that bed a 2nd night(room 255)Pity as it's a nice handy spot, with a lovely restaurant but you need to be able to have a good sleep,

11/05/2025: One of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve had in quite some time. I don’t tend to leave negative reviews—this is probably my first. We travelled almost an hour to try this restaurant after being tempted by some appealing social media posts (note to self: this may be the last time I let TikTok guide my dinner plans). On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely sea view, but sadly, that’s where the positives ended. After being seated, we were left waiting around 5–10 minutes before anyone brought us menus, despite only two other tables being occupied. The two members of staff on the floor were standing at the till during this time, which didn’t make sense given how quiet it was. When our server did eventually arrive, she seemed completely uninterested. It felt like serving us was an inconvenience. We tried to shrug it off—we were out on our first kid-free date in over a year and really wanted to enjoy the evening. We ordered a variety of starters (5) as we like to try a mix of new dishes, but unfortunately, every single one was incredibly bland and lacked any distinct flavour. Easily some of the most tasteless food I’ve encountered in a restaurant. To make matters worse, the service didn’t improve. After the starters, our waitress came to reset the table for mains but simply placed my fork beside me and left the knife in the centre of the table—again reflecting the overall lack of care or professionalism throughout the evening. The mains were, unfortunately, just as disappointing. My wife’s Singapore noodles tasted like plain noodles dusted with curry powder. I ordered the “fillet beef with Szechuan hot sauce,” which was more like boiled beef in lightly salted water. I’m still trying to forget the taste a day later. We’re both huge fans of Chinese food—especially authentic, well-prepared dishes—so this was a major letdown. It’s rare we get the chance to go out for dinner together, and it’s a shame that it turned out this way. Like another review here, I’m honestly surprised this restaurant has a 4.3-star rating on Google. Based on our experience, I can’t say we’ll be back, nor could I recommend it to others

11/04/2025: Excellent food & excellent service. Everything was spot on, including the decor and music. Great choice of quality wines by the glass too. Early bird is great value, especially considering the quality and portion sizes.

30/03/2025: My mother asked me "are you hungry" quickly i became skeptical. She asked me if i would be interested in burger king; I said yes. We arrived, we entered the drive thru and waited; And waited. Shortly after, this lady came on the little order box thing and said "hi can i take ya order?" kids meal; Coke. Whopper meal; Accompanied by coke. And. A. Whopper. We pulled up to the window and waited; And waited; And waited. (This is taking a rather long time) YES! finally! €23.17 Yikes! And now; we wait. "The kids meal and the whopper yeah? " She said (whopper singular??) Thats not what we ordered... We ordered two.. Okay crisis averted everythings there. Ohh i can smell it😱 Yuuuummyyyyy Chips a tad cold but thats a okay My mother took one bite of her burger and jumped out of her seat. "THIS IS FREEZING" she screeched. Microwave time😎 It was yummy😋😋😋 Yay

27/05/2025: Visiting from the states and was hoping for freshly made breakfast sandwiches. Unfortunately, the sandwiches are refrigerated, pre-made and they only warm them up at the cafe. The chai tea latte just tasted like syrup. The pastries were decent. Nice coffee shop atmosphere with some tables outside. Parking was difficult.

09/03/2025: This is a brilliant oasis amongst the madness that is Temple Bar. If you want a chilled drink or dinner, this is the place. It's lovely to be within such a great cultural venue, really buzzy. The food was ace as was the wine. Also had beers on tap. Friendly staff. Somewhere it's easy to spend a few hours eating, drinking and talking. Highly recommend.

27/06/2025: We ordered take out delivery on our last day in Ireland. The food was delicious! Perfect flavors delivered piping hot. The bike delivery man was prompt, polite, and smiling. We had the sweet and sour prawns, Singapore chow mein, and a side of mixed vegetables. So, so good! Would highly recommend this restaurant for take away.

14/06/2025: The chef here makes authentic northern Chinese food, which is very delicious. I will come again!!!

06/05/2025: If you take an Americano, then take only a small one!!! Big coffee is just pure water. The food is only snacks, they don’t have full meals. If you are allergic, always ask for the ingredients, lots of baked goods with nuts.

29/06/2025: Tried Indian Tiffin and really enjoyed it! The food was good, flavorful and nicely cooked. A bit on the spicy side, but in a good way that brings out the authentic taste. Overall, a solid experience. I’d definitely come back and try more. Great value for the quality!

25/06/2025: Our family went to town for some official stuff and went there for brunch. By the time we arrived it may have been probably 10.30ish, not so busy, ambience is nice, cooling and calming. They kind of rushed for the order but we needed time to get our heads around the menu bcz it was our first time there. But the lady attended to us was nice she went back and came in later 😅 thankfully. It was quick for the first order and all the food we ordered were nice and yummy ( masala dosa and chicken Katti roti? With apple juice and masala tea). For the second order it took a long while to get the food on the table and we already lost our appetite 🙄. Generally, food is good, but can reduce the serving time especially for the dining in second order. Definitely will go for the next time.

25/06/2025: Came here for a private event following a wedding and it was simply fantastic! Great place that ended up accommodating 60+ people. Food was BBQ style and made to order. Drinks were reasonably priced for Dublin (can be quite pricey!) however had a great selection of lagers and spirits. Had live entertainment which was not overwhelming followed by opening up of a small dance floor. Definitely a great place for a small gathering!
