The best restaurants in Dublin

20/03/2026: Terrible experience of all time. Waterloo of clubbing life. For random DJ event they dare to charge 35€ each person, cuz they thought they are KitKat or Berghain. If you don’t want to have nightmare and get angry then don’t go to this horrible place. Plus, the bouncers here are not nice.

17/03/2026: I was there with my wife. We were there without reservation but they found a table for us (Friday afternoon) for 1.5 hours. We ordered calamari as starter, it was great, the sauce has garlic; my wife liked it but I couldn't eat it; anyhow calamari was great. We have ordered 2 pizzas, they were perfect and too big. Service was great, fast and all people we have seen were great, they were smiling. We ordered white wine, it was good. Toilets were clean

05/02/2026: Decided to pop by and try out the Lam inn and I got a 4 in 1 and it was super nice, the curry sauce tasted really nice and very good prices

15/01/2026: Probably the worst doner kebab I’ve ever had. I ordered a meal, but when I arrived they only gave me chips and kebab — no drink. They said the meal doesn’t include a drink, even though it’s listed as a meal, and refused to swap the chips since they were “already cooked.” The doner wasn’t properly cooked, felt like rubber, the portion was tiny, and there was no tissue in the bag. Very disappointing. Will probably never go there again.

01/03/2026: Well, Great Pizza. Friendly staff. Perfect location. The crust was really cripsy and fresh. The service was fast as well. Will surely visit again.

15/02/2026: I placed an order through Deliveroo at approximately 21:10, with an estimated delivery time of 21:45. While I understand that delays can happen for various reasons, the delay in this case was excessive. We waited an additional 15 minutes past the estimated time and then called to check on the status. We were informed it would arrive within 10 minutes. However, by 22:30 there was still no sign of the order, which was quite frustrating. What concerned me most was the attitude of the male employee who answered the phone. He was very rude and stated that the order would arrive “when it needs to,” which I found unprofessional and inappropriate. Is this the standard of training provided to your staff? Are phone calls recorded? I believe this interaction should be reviewed, as the employee clearly requires further training in customer service and professionalism. While I understand that employees may not always be able to resolve delays immediately, there is no justification for speaking to customers in a disrespectful manner. I strongly recommend reviewing your staff training processes, as experiences like this will make sure you start losing out customers.

11/03/2026: We come here quite often and usually get the Spicy Bag. It’s really tasty and the portion is very good. The service is always great and the staff are very friendly. We will definitely keep coming back.

23/10/2025: Usually nice ice cream selection! Disappointed to say they closed early today! Usually they open till 5 but we were told @ 16:05 its closed and they cant serve

16/08/2025: Sadly, I have to add to the bad reviews as there must have been a change of ownership at Daddy's? Or maybe it's lack of basic staff training? Ordered two sit in americanos only to get two watery drinks in take away cups, with badly pulled shots and plenty of coffee grounds in the bottom. I used to work in speciality coffee, so can spot a carelessly made coffee from miles away. The staff were pretty unwelcoming also. I won't be back!

14/07/2025: Sorry to say I have to add to the bad reviews as of late. Daddy’s used to be known for its phenomenal food and in theory the dishes are amazing. However the standard is extremely low now especially for the price you pay. On the last occasion I visited I was heavily pregnant. I got the full fry, and everything on it except the toast was disastrous. The sausage was pale, the pudding was undercooked and lukewarm and flavour was on the turn, mushroom was soggy, egg undercooked, and the bacon was hard. I would be embarrassed as kitchen staff to send that out. As for the service, we were waiting ages to be seated, ages for order to be taken, ages for food to arrive and no follow up for us to order more coffee etc. The place was dead so no excuse and plenty of staff on the floor. I used to work in the food industry and know that bad reviews can be terrible for a place but given the previous high standard I just hope owners will make some changes to get it back to what it was. As for now I won’t be back and it genuinely makes me sad! 2 stars given for the creative menu but otherwise, 1 star from me

26/03/2026: The staff are amazing ! But the pub itself is one of the greatest in Dublin! Very traditional Irish pub used to sell fabrics so the ruler is there !!!! They even have MODELO beer! Great - BEST SPOT!

20/12/2025: Food was bland and they only give you a handful of chips was pretty much an insult for the price. The burger had no taste and was almost very greasy. Such a shame but won't be going back again. Very old chipper. Man came across very ignorant especially when I wanted my bag / handful of chips in a separate bag.

08/10/2025: Asked if the lady had Taramasalata. She said no, but she have a touch of lumbago. We laugh. Nice pub.

23/08/2025: First time in this pub. A friend's band 'The Tango Lizards' were playing there in July 2025. Turned out to be a great spot. Very big bar and nice evening. They're playing again in this pub in September 2025 and we'll be back.
