The best restaurants in Dublin

09/07/2025: A little bit slow service, but they were very busy. Got the spicy sweet chicken, drunken noodles, spicy papaya salad, and of course the spice bag. All of the food was delicious, especially the spice bag and the papaya salad, but portions were a little bit small and the restaurant was expensive overall for what you get; however, the food was great quality

08/07/2025: Excellent food and great value for money. the protein boxes are such a great healthy alternative and everything if the menu is well made, full of flavour and perfectly cooked.

22/06/2025: Had the absolute best brunch here on Saturday! Do not pay any mind to the reviews saying customer service isn't good. We interacted with three of the staff and all were super friendly, very attentive and welcoming. The ham eggs benedict I had is the best I've had in a really long time. Best breakfast in Dalkey! Really thankful to have this local institution up back and running bringing some much needed community and food to our town.

20/06/2025: We went to the Portuguese Wine Tasting which was on during the Dalkey Book Festival. It was a brilliant evening. Fabulous service. Fabulous atmosphere. Fabulous. I wish we could have stayed for food but we had our toddler with us. ( who was also made feel very welcome❤️)

05/07/2025: I can't recommend it enough. Scrambled eggs prepared to perfection. The pancakes are light and delicious. Try their Dark Chocolate Mocha. Fair play to the cheff. Friendly staff.

29/06/2025: Staff is super friendly but food is not good and it is definitely overpriced. I order raspberry scone and once I opened it I returned it. Please see image attached. That supposed to be only raspberry, I checked with them. I also tried it and it did not have right taste. They accepted return immediately, they did not charge for it, but nothing like that should be served. Coffee was fine, spinach and cheese roll was ok, but just too expensive.

11/07/2025: Holy cow! Was not expecting the amount of food that I got, was an absolute feast! Had a steak sandwich combo. Steak sandwich was amazing and as mentioned earlier huge! If I lived in the area I'd be back every chance I could.

13/07/2025: Im a tourist in Ireland and karina accommodated all my needs she was so lovely, would absolutely come back. Im from England and we would come back just to see karina she was so nice. Apparently jager bombs aren’t popular here but karina made us feel so at home. Thank you Karina. We love you.

07/06/2025: It’s a clean and nice place, the coffee is tasty, and the staff are friendly. But sometimes strange people do come in — I actually caught someone trying to steal my wallet once. Also, there’s an issue with the ventilation system i guess. From time to time, the entire place smells like the toilet, and unfortunately, this has been going on for quite a while.

25/04/2025: We have been now at 19.00 . We asked for coffee in site.we have been told :"no ,we dont serve now ,we can only serve in takeaway cups,this is absolutely disrespectful and disgraceful, they said se don't turn on the dishes washer for you. It's a shame and the staff are so rude

10/07/2025: I adored the cookies Yana made for my little boy's 2nd birthday. These cookies are quite big in size, & also quite thick. So for the price point, I think it is very good & reasonable, especially for the high level of detail she puts into them. The also surprised me. I was expecting a hard 'biscuit' type bite, but these are wonderfully crumbly & soft. I could eat so many 🙊 I know a lot of love & time goes into making these cookies, & I can see myself ordering them at least once a year (probaly more). They were also packaged very securely, delivered on time & Yana sent me a preview pic which was a lovely touch. Thank you Yana x

06/07/2025: The Giddy Dolphin Pub in Temple Bar is a fantastic spot! It's got a great atmosphere with good music playing, making it a perfect place to spend some quality time with friends. They have a good selection of beer too, which is always a plus. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a lively and enjoyable pub experience in the area.

30/06/2025: This is a great spot. The sports bar has pool, football tables and darts as well as multiple TVs to watch whatever game is on. Plenty of staff with nice, quick service. There's even a small band stage for music. The food is smash burger type fair which is just great with a few beers.

21/06/2025: Have been a loyal customer for the last five years but their prices are ridiculous now. Definitely not value for money. A meal just went up €1.50 so I cancelled my order. Won't be ordering from you again.

17/06/2025: Absolute rip off they have increased there spice bags to €10 which is most popular with kids.. There is hardly any chicken in them mostly just Frozen chips some kids walked to counter with the original price for 2 spice bags they told them they had put them up in price and rejected them Disgraceful all for a extra euro last time ill order seen that

13/07/2025: Excellent place to try these chocolates. They also give you a chocolate with your coffee. The prices are cheaper than the coffees I've had elsewhere, and this one was much tastier.

20/07/2025: Came for tea and scones. It took almost an hour for it to come out. They only brought 2 of the three teapots we ordered. When we asked for the third they told us they put two tea bags in one of the tea pots. That just makes strong tea, not more tea. Finally they brought the other tea pot upon our insistence. The Earl Grey was just gross, it tasted like soap. We asked for honey and milk with the tea, they informed us that they don't have any honey at all. We had to ask twice for the milk. The scones were dense and they brought whipped cream instead of clotted cream. For an establishment that calls itself a tea house it was anything but. Very disappointed in all respects. The service was slow and bad at that. The tea and food were subpar. Save your time, money, and frustration by going elsewhere.
