02/09/2025: Had never had Nigerian food before, would defo recommend, the okra stew was so good. Though a tad spicy 🥵

28/08/2025: They ACTUALLY make 'Party Smoky Jollof rice. Certified smoky delicious jollof is served here with beef for 14 euros. Worth every cent. I travel down to get it. Their signage outside the restuarant is a bit hidden but you'll see it once you enter the busisnes park and turn left.

26/08/2025: Great coffee. Best Espresso around so far. Good sitting areas and spacious you migh be able to use your laptop or charge your phone. Power close to tables. Good cosy and quiet atmosphere. Its a regular.

23/11/2025: This is a gorgeous restaurant in Blackrock. Food is fabulous, service is amazing and nothing is too much for them. My son arrived very late but they insisted on making a fresh meal for him.

17/01/2026: Absolutely awful experience. Service was diabolical the place was extremely loud and expensive. I paid €8.79 for 4 mozzarella sticks with a bland sauce and neary 30 euro for a bacon and cheese burger with a small portion of chips. Waiting 20 minutes for someone to take away my starter after I had finished and was not even given a knife or fork for my main course. Avoid this place at all costs, you will pay nearly half the price for better food and service in Eddie Rockets across the road.

21/09/2025: We got the sushi combo Dublin. The quantities are good enough and the presentation is very nice. The fish was fresh, but the rice was not good, which devalued the taste. Staff were super nice. It’s a super location.

19/09/2025: My fav sushi in Dublin! Every time in city center I order some. They are super delish and always send some extra pieces as well which is very kind.

15/01/2026: Don’t know where to start, eggs from microwave, everything frozen, sandwich are simple and extremely overpriced as everything there. Owners aka managers have no clue how to run business and if you planning to get soup, be aware some of their soups are open for 3-5 days. Avoid this place. There’s many good coffees around with fresh cooked food, not heat up wannabe food.

15/01/2026: Cozy small café with a small breakfast menu and good coffee. It was quiet when we came in, and we got a window table straight away.

07/03/2026: Came here as a party of three for brunch. Seated straight away, however we were left waiting for a while before our order was taken. Food was delicious but staff could be slightly more attentive.

28/02/2026: On the evening of 27 February 2026, at around 6:26 PM, I entered McDonald’s Dún Laoghaire intending to order food. I sat down at one of many empty tables while waiting for my wife, who was about 5 minutes away. We had spoken on the phone and planned to order together before going to the cinema. Within literally a few seconds of sitting down (no more than 3 seconds), a security guard wearing an RFC security badge approached me in a very aggressive manner and told me that if I didn’t order immediately, I had to leave. I initially thought I had misunderstood, so I asked him to repeat what he meant. He repeated it in a confrontational tone: either order right away or leave. I calmly explained that I was about to order, but I was simply waiting for my wife who would arrive within minutes. Despite this clear explanation, he continued to behave aggressively and dismissively. I then went to the counter and asked to speak with a manager. The McDonald’s staff were polite and professional — a supervisor came over and appeared surprised by what happened, and I was told the guard should not have acted like that. However, the guard continued staring at me in an intimidating way. By the time my wife arrived, we already felt very uncomfortable and decided to leave without ordering anything. As we were leaving, the situation escalated further. The guard made direct verbal threats, stating that in a physical confrontation he could seriously harm or even kill me. This was shocking and completely unacceptable in a family restaurant environment. Shortly after, he appeared to be arguing with another customer as well. This behaviour raises serious concerns. Security staff are supposed to make customers feel safe, not intimidated or threatened. Someone who speaks so casually about violence is not suitable for a public-facing security role, especially in a place visited by families and children. For identification purposes: the guard was of average height, bald, dark-skinned, and wearing an RFC security badge. This was a deeply upsetting experience. Until this matter is properly addressed and I receive a response, my wife and I will not be returning to McDonald’s Dún Laoghaire. I hope both McDonald’s management and the security company investigate this situation seriously. Kind regards Lucian

13/12/2025: Awesome hot chocolate and carrot cake. Iago the cashier is very cute too. Will definitely come back and the price of the chocolates sre so reasonable. No wonder there is a line. Perfect gift for friends and family

16/10/2025: They claim to have an accessible toilet, so as a wheelchair user I decided to visit this place. Thought I'd check out the toilet before ordering pints. Turned out to be a wise decision. So called "accessible toilet" was a joke. Tiny little bathroom with a bend in it which was impossible to enter in a wheelchair. Front entrance is accessible and it is on the flat but NO toilet facilities.

11/09/2025: Stopped here on our first night in Dublin and the bartender took great care of us, I managed to leave my wallet sitting on the bar with my ID, cash, cards- the lot, and the bartender kept it safe and got it back to me which absolutely saved my life as I would have been here on holiday two weeks without a wallet - he wouldn't let me give him any cash for getting it back to me either pub has a great location, nice vibe inside and the bartender is a real angel on earth!

30/01/2026: First time getting Ly in a few years. It use to be massive but the spice bags are flavourless now, just 90% onions no garlic like it use to. The fried noodles tasted just like pepper and the only thing that was decent was the curry sauce. Plus you miss the 2 Jess’s. Place was flat

22/12/2025: Ordered the Panang Curry with prawns and egg fried rice. Delivery was super fast. Delivered in 26 mins from order. (5km). Everything was warm to hot still, without having to heat up. I ordered the more spicy option. At first I didn't taste any extra spiciness, but after about 30 seconds I began to feel it. It was just the right level without blowing my ears off. Great dish. Will order again. I also selected the egg fried rice. When I opened the carton I was disappointed as it looked like boiled rice with fried egg pieces added. And that's exactly what it was. I guess I was expecting fried rice as one would expect for example from a Chinese restaurant. It tasted great anyway, especially when combined with the curry. Altogether, a great meal and great delivery. Would order again. Perhaps change the description of the egg fried rice.

06/01/2026: I visited the Easons store on O’Connell Street today and purchased several items. Upon checking my bag while still at the checkout area, I realised that I had not been given a receipt. When I raised this immediately with the sales assistant, I was told he had another customer to attend to, despite the fact that I had not yet left the till. I noticed that one of the items purchased was priced differently from the price advertised on the Easons website, and I wished to return it. When I asked again about the missing receipt, the assistant stated that he could not assist and called for the manager, suggesting that I was requesting an additional receipt. I clarified that no receipt had been provided in the first place. Although the return itself was accepted without issue, I was incorrectly informed that the online price excluded delivery costs, despite the website clearly stating that delivery was free. The manager processed the return; however, she was also unable to provide a return receipt or any written confirmation of the transaction. As a result, I left the store having both paid for and returned goods without receiving any proof of purchase or proof of refund, which is unacceptable from a customer service and financial accountability perspective. I find this practice concerning and believe there is a clear need for improved staff training and clearer procedures around receipts and returns. I would appreciate clarification on how this situation is addressed to ensure customers are not placed in a similar position in the future. Additional comment: The refund was made for the item to bank account but less €5. The exact amount of a dispute. So Eason stole that money of me. UPDATE: after a while and another visit in the store the refund was finally completed in full. The manager on the day admitted there was an error in their system. Still no reply to email sent to the company though.
