23/08/2025: In viaggio a Dublino ho mangiato più volte in questo posto, sempre molto soddisfatta. Ottimo il loro piatto della tradizione fish & chips, per me in versione senza glutine con una perfetta panatura croccante e non unta. Atmosfera informale ma con stile e servizio attento e curato. Una nota particolare alla professionalità e simpatia di Simone!

22/08/2025: GOT A HAIR IN MY FOOD !!! WHEN I POINTED THIS OUT TO STAFF SHE SAID THE HAIR IS BLACK , AND YOU HAVE DARK HAIR . BUT OTHER STAFF HAD LONG BLACK HAIR ALSO . I GOT NO APPOLAGY NO SORRY NO NOTHING. SHE JUST WALKED OFF AS IF IT WAS MY PROBLEM NOT HER'S. RUDE , AND CHEEKY STAFF . UN TRAINED IN FOOD SAFTY OR CUSTOMER SERVICE. DONT EAT HERE , ITS A DUMP.

30/10/2024: Deliciously Amazing food, Biryani is suggested for sure once in life time. Fully suggested for family gathering and specially kids play area is re-visit for kids. Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Royal biryani kitchen known for its tantalizing BBQ kebabs & biryani. As a fan of grilled delights, I was eager to see if their offerings lived up to the hype, and I was not disappointed. Atmosphere: The ambiance was warm and inviting, with rustic decor that complemented the BBQ theme. The smell of smoke from the grill filled the air, heightening the anticipation before my meal arrived. The seating was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making for an enjoyable dining experience. Menu Selection: The menu featured a variety of kebab options, including chicken, lamb, and vegetarian choices. They also offered a range of marinades that promised to elevate the flavor profile. I decided to try the classic chicken and lamb kebabs, accompanied by a side of their signature garlic & mint sauce and fresh bread paratha. Taste: Both kebabs were grilled to perfection. The chicken was tender and juicy, marinated in a delightful blend of spices that gave it a smoky flavor with just the right amount of kick. The lamb kebab was equally impressive—rich and flavorful, with a slightly charred exterior that added an extra layer of depth to the taste. 20/08/2024: Very smelly and your shoes will for sure stick to the floor as never been cleaned. Very poor service not sure why people rate it. Maybe good for takeaway service but don't waste your time here.

31/07/2025: Don’t order from Macari 66 if you want 1. Your order to be correct and 2. For the mistake to be rectified effectively. I ordered 2 quarter pounder burgers and 1 chicken fillet burger. The two quarter pounders arrived but when I opened the bag marked ‘38 chicken fillet burger,’ I was surprised to find a third beef burger. I rang Macari 66 as one of the group does not eat beef and asked for the mistake to be rectified. Instead of apologising and sending out the correct item I was told ‘that was strange’ and was I certain they had sent the wrong item. I had numerous separate calls across the space of 15 minutes from different members of staff questioning how the chicken burger possibly couldn’t have arrived when they didn’t have any cooked chicken burgers left behind in the shop. To the staff on the phone, it was more likely that I would bother of going to the effort of ringing the restaurant and lying to them to get an extra burger delivered 30 mins after the rest of the food over them simply making an error. As can be seen from the photo, the burger which was wrapped in the bag marked beside ‘chicken’ is clearly beef… If they had maybe taken a moment to reflect before ringing me as much as accusing me of lying, the staff may have realised that it was in fact possible, that the reason they had no cooked chicken burgers left in the shop is because somebody placed a beef burger into this ‘chicken’ bag and my chicken burger into a ‘beef burger’ bag which was ordered by somebody else!

03/09/2025: The app of how you order food is poorly done. When you put in your address you are given the thumbs up if it delivers to your address or not, then you go onto pay. Then to be later sent a txt to say your address is too far and you will be refunded in 3-5 business days.

18/08/2025: My son and I shared a meal here last week. It was delicious food.now the only thing… The fillet beef (€24! was very lacking on texture . Just strange and gangily (If you get me) I felt over soaked/over softened. No bite. Now in fairness I give 5 stars. This meal was replaced with no question, with a very tasty chicken dish. The atmosphere is lovely. The staff are very nice. The spare ribs were Devine. Great satay sauce ( the mark of a great Chinese restaurant in my book) Noodles DEVINE! Smoked chicken starter was George. We got a side order of broccoli and this was THE MOST DELICIOUS broccoli I’ve ever tasted. I’d go back just for that. It was €100 with a pot of China tea and two soft drinks. So the drinks + 2 starters 2 mains Noodles Rice Side dish of veg. Well worth €50 each with a nice takeaway for my son to have the next day. We loved this place and will go back. QUESTION; Why do so many oriental restaurants ruin their fillets of beef with soaking/swelling/ softening. I’ve yet to have a decent bite friendly beef black bean! Anyway everything else was superb. I highly recommend ♥️

21/08/2025: Lovely hot chocolate and excellent chocolate treats! I bought one and enjoyed it so much that I had to buy four more just to be sure they were as good, and they were. The only downside is the limited seating. Most of the tables were taken by people working on their laptops with just a small coffee or even just a bottle of water. Two people were each occupying separate tables, and when we left, they were still there. I understand needing a quiet place to work, but perhaps a larger café or even a library would be more suitable. Maybe management could do something to make sure tables are available for customers who actually want to sit and enjoy their drinks and food.

05/06/2024: It's very sad to see this place closing down. I came here a few times with my late nan and her family when I used to visit Dublin, and the food was delicious, both dinner and deserts. Best of luck in your new ventures, guys, and may the memories last forever.

06/07/2025: I tried the Doner Kebab and the Spice Box, but unfortunately, both didn’t meet my expectations. The flavours were lacking, and the Spice Box was overly spicy without much taste balance.

16/06/2025: The donair / gyro sauce was “odd” like a bbq sauce. Maybe thats the way in Ireland. Not a fan but it was ok. Generous portions and everything else was great
