The best restaurants in Dublin

30/08/2025: Very delicious food and good service

28/08/2025: I've been a regular here for over an year and have introduced 10+ friends to their chicken biryani because I think it's one of the best in town. However, after a recent bad experience, I'm changing my review from 5 stars to 1. 3 of us went to dine in a couple of weeks ago when it was 27C hot. They had the AC off, so we were sweating throughout. Then, when the bill came, they charged 10% service fee... which is mentioned nowhere. The prices of the items are already higher if dining in (€16 biryani is actually €18 if dining in). I found their service charge egregious, also considering how terrible the service and ambiance was with the AC off. If you are going to treat your dine-in customers so poorly and have such deceptive pricing practices, might as well close the place down and open a hole-in-the-wall take-away joint. Don't waste everyone's time trying to be a dine-in place. Extremely disappointed and will never dine-in again.

18/08/2025: Popped into Butlers Chocolate Café for a quick bite and got my go-to, the carrot cake. It was seriously delicious, moist and full of flavor. If you're a carrot cake person, you won't be disappointed!

16/08/2025: straw not good OK why are you guys just giving us like paper straws? When like actually my straw machine I couldn’t even use it anymore completely.

12/06/2025: Food is nice little mix up with the delivery so was delayed but the staff were lovely the driver was really kind. They gave a large drink as an apology. Will order again

08/02/2025: It’s a chipper - a fine example of a neighbourhood classic. Quarter pounder with cheese was excellent.

05/09/2025: The new Glasthule location is dreadful in comparison with Monkstown. I've given it every opportunity, but breakfast, lunch and dinner were all awful. Such a disappointment as Monkstown restaurant is fantastic. Even the orange juice in Glasthule is advertised (and charged) as freshly squeezed, but they later admit that's only in Monkstown. Glasthule is out of a carton. Talk about risking your brand!

19/08/2025: Low key vibe with great service. Food was solid apart from the nuts in the banana bread (why do so many places ruin cakes and desserts by putting nuts in them?) and yogurt portion size. Full breakfast vg. Toilet was a bit smelly.

24/05/2025: The two girls working there are lovely, knows how to serve customer make them feel good, great hospitality,will come back again.

22/03/2025: Enjoy going here for a coffee.lovely quiet place with old style seating and furniture.Great if you just want a good cup of coffee and a place to relax.Really good coffee but a bit pricey

03/08/2025: We were not allowed to enter because one of my friends was wearing sportswear, we all have normal jobs and were intending to have a pint. DISCRIMINATION based on appearance. Shame and disrespect together with rudeness from the manager. At the same time security manager was smoking vape while talking to us (apparently it was ok according to their policies). The lowest hospitality standard I saw in Dublin.

18/07/2025: Just illegal behaviour, not allowing me to pay cash that the ATM gave me 'just because'. It is illegal to refuse taking cahs, that, and I was refused to be served when I told them. I'm not surprised that the previous company that owned that place went bankrupt. I wanted to buy drinks and pay, and I was refused because of using a 100 euro.

25/05/2025: The lads are really doing a great job. It’s slowly becoming one of the best pubs in the area. Great lounge area at the back for darts & jars. Music always great

28/06/2025: This is the best Chipper ever!!!! Love their fish and chips. They also do great value specials all the time. Portions are a good size.

10/08/2025: We had dinner here. There's no place to sit, so you have to stand to eat. The pizzas are delicious and worth the wait. The prices are reasonable.

15/05/2025: Order at your own risk!! My order never came and it’s not there first time doing this . Just look at the rest of reviews. This could very be a problem with just eat . Not the pizza place it self. The restaurant apologised and were very professional about it. Type just eat on google and you will see numerous examples like mines in the reviews. I ordered just a pizza and a drink with a dip sauce with just eat. Had to wait 15mn for the order to start preparing,then it was supposed to come at 1:10am . 30mn after being late they have the audacity to mark my delivery as being delivered. They never picked up the phone the whole 1 hr I waited. I never got my order in the end . I don’t recommend this place at all . And I see in the reviews that it’s not there first time. Be aware of this pizza place. They will prepare your order. Not pick up the phone. Be late 30mn , Only to not come at all . Zero stars.

21/08/2025: Everything looks delicious, the prices are really good considering the freshness of the food, which looks homemade and smells sooooo good. For the French, this was a very pleasant surprise: friendly and cheerful staff, a quiet break to rest for a few minutes.

12/06/2025: This is the most relaxed insomnia I have visited in Dublin. It's got a great Vibe. Service with a smile. And Great Coffee. It's a Cool Coffee Shop. Cool People and a cool Vibe. I would definitely recommend

06/09/2025: Ordered a pizza, 3 cookies and 3 drinks at 2am, called repeatedly and eventually told it would arrive in 5 mins (this was at 3.25am) at one point they just started hanging up. Sent friends down in the cold to look out for driver, nobody came. Will be chasing full refund and never ordering here again. I'm a former staff member of Apache and the way this branch run the same chain up here is disgraceful.

28/08/2025: They have huge signs up offering £3 slices, but it's only for 3 hours a day. So I order a whole pizza. They say it'll be ready in ten minutes. Ten minutes later I ask and they say 2 minutes more so I order my Uber. The Uber is outside, I ask about my pizza, they ask me what I ordered so I they them. THEY NOW START TO MAKE MY PIZZA!!! I had to leave because it's been 20 minutes and my Uber is outside. I was the only customer in the store. I think they have mental problems

15/08/2025: Everything was pre prepared and sitting in glass heating case. Something similar to a hot food counter in a shop. Cutlery was dirty but the waitress exchanged them when she was made aware. Staff not very friendly

09/07/2025: Overall a good shop, not too many options in that area. Prices very good, some of the products may not be so fresh need to look yourself and choose wisely..

10/09/2025: recently went to the tgi Friday in blanchardstown after it closed in town. Excellent food, better than the one in town. Also shout out to our waitress aydan for her exceptional service. Haven’t seen this type of attentive service since I left America.

07/09/2025: If not for the location this place wouldn't still be in business. €27 for a plain burger with no sauce, onion, or cheese? Cop on now. Service was friendly but impossible to get any after initially ordering, despite plenty staff on and not being busy. Strange and severe mismanagement

31/07/2025: They have a nice area , though the day I went the rooftop or balcony was closed for cleaning . You can pick the pastries you want bring them on the counter and order your drinks. The day i went they dont have the raspberry ice matcha so i went for ice vanilla matcha . The matcha was nice but tooo sweet . Its full of milk and vanilla i seen only a bit of matcha was been put . Might as well call it vanilla milk latte 🤭thats why probably i didnt taste the matcha that much but its nice .
