10/04/2025: Honestly the nicest Chinease we’ve ever had in our lives. We got a munchy box and the seasoning was unique and delicious, the meat was full, fresh, literally peeling off the bone, unbelievable taste. Everytime we picked up an item from the box we looked at each other with amazement! Our tastes buds were tingling. Definitely my next go to next time I’m in Dublin!! Well done guys, cured our hangover well!!!! Oh and the amount of the food you get wow- says feed 2, it would easily feed 4

05/04/2025: We ordered the chocolate milkshake and the warm brownie. The brownie tasted good, but the milkshake wasn’t packed properly and spilled everywhere during delivery. It also didn’t taste good. They could have packed it better.

27/03/2025: Honestly the worst experience I've had in a restaurant completely unprofessional, the person who served me had absolutely no respect and had a dead look on her face, the blonde girl should not be working there, she proceeded to make faces at me when i gave my order. The food was over expensive and turned out to not be worth it, absolute waste of money and wish I went too Bunsen instead.

05/04/2025: Cute little place in clonsilla , seating for around 20 people. First time eating at this place and in short the food and place were lovely. If you like noodles I tried malysia nasi goreng which I'll definitely recommend. I'm fan of spice boxes and I'll say their mega spice box ranks 2md in my list in Dublin , go for it , not the same taste as chinese place but it's really good , cooked well, spices used are good , and the crunch is to the point. Green chicken thai is just ok , I have tasted way better , maybe they miss out on the right amount lemon grass or galangal . The cost for the dinner for 2 people will tops 50 euro, we took 3 dishes and had to take home half of 2 main dishes . Complimentary prawn crackers are served . All in all I'll prefer this place anytime compare to other fast foods nearby . Will definitely visit again to try more . Fast service and ambience is warm .

04/04/2025: Went on a friday evening...food was lovely, staff were lovely. Alot of foot traffic for pickups...would click n collect next time rather than having people oogle my food! Lol Bad timing on my part...deffo recomend sit in for lunch though.💖

31/03/2025: Used to love this place. As a French person their baguettes used to be great but it’s gone downhill lately as they scale and then we ordered a birthday for our 9 year old which they didn’t make and blamed us, Square, everyone else but themselves. Wouldn’t rely on them!

13/03/2025: Ate breakfast (porridge for €2 - tasted great) and lunch (sweet potato salad is lovely) here serveral times during a short trip. Excellent selection of food and drinks, decent prices and fantastic staff/service and a generous sitting area. Would gladly recommend.

03/03/2025: I had for takeaway a blueberry and chocolate which were really nice, but I was a Bit dissapointed by the Cappuccino. The Service was fast and friendly. The seating area is very simple and for me not very cosy. Overall I would reccomend the Food and times.

14/04/2025: Just been to sweet basil this weekend and I have to say what a hidden gem. Food was excellent, arrived on time and was hot a fresh. I was really happy with the service and this is the place to go. Hidden gem in romford.

10/04/2025: Lovely food, good prices. Bought here for 30 years. Sad that they now ask for the Just Eat Code number. No I dont kive in a House of Multiple Occupation (HMO). Sadly I will buy from another place in the future.

03/04/2025: One star less because a coffee and a pecan pie is €7. Four € for coffee and €3 for a small pecan pie. It’s a bit on the expensive end.

20/04/2025: I went in here for a quick pint before dinner on Sunday 20th April, 1.30pm. The woman behind the bar was very rude and had a very hostile attitude. Won't be back.

24/03/2025: Wonderful service and beautiful store with a great selection of tea and coffee beans! Definitely a go-to when you want something more unique and flavorful than the typical store bought stuff and/or you’ve particular interests. Their freshly made coffee is also delicious.

02/03/2025: This is such a cosy spot. They have flavoured coffee beans and it is delicious. We bought a few bags to bring home and they gave us a free cappuccino to drink there or takeaway which was so generous. The upstairs seating is fab, great views and just a cosy atmosphere. Its not easy to find a place like this in town these days. Will definitely be back. Thank you so much

12/04/2025: In the current circumstances, the owners here have done everything possible to make their premises safe, with clear signage and appropriate screening in place - the food is great too!

08/03/2025: most grim takeaway of my life, pizza so under cooked it stuck to the box, it was only held together by the inches of cheese on top, most appetising part of the meal was the pepperoni. we ordered onion rings and only 2 came in a portion, these were undercooked and had about 7 layers of onion, on the inside you can see there’s raw batter, also came drowned in grease. the chips were bendy and undercooked. overall a rank takeaway i would never eat her again please save yourself.

02/02/2025: Visitamos La Cueva con la esperanza de una auténtica experiencia gastronómica francesa, pero desafortunadamente, la comida y el servicio no cumplieron con las expectativas. Como nota positiva, el lugar en sí es hermoso y tiene un ambiente elegante, preparando el escenario para lo que esperábamos que fuera una gran comida. Sin embargo, la comida estaba lejos de ser auténtica, y nos dejamos cuestionando si el chef tiene formación formal en cocina francesa. Comienzo: La sopa de cebolla francesa fue decepcionante y careció de los sabores ricos y profundos que definen este plato. Principal: La caña de cordero era promedio en el mejor de los casos, y las guarniciones no la complementaban bien. Los sabores se sentían desiguales. Postre & queso: La selección de quesos sabía como si procediera de un supermercado local, y las galletas saladas eran galletas saladas estándar de Carr directamente de un paquete, difícilmente lo que se esperaría de un restaurante que tiene como objetivo ofrecer una experiencia gastronómica francesa. Tampoco había servicio. Mientras que los camareros eran amables, tuvimos que pedir todo — agua, limpiar la mesa, e incluso el siguiente plato. Hubo poca atención, lo que hizo la experiencia frustrante. En general, aunque La Cueva tiene un entorno hermoso y elegante, la comida y el servicio no estuvieron a la altura de las expectativas. Desafortunadamente, no lo recomendaría para aquellos que buscan una verdadera experiencia gastronómica francesa.

12/01/2025: Me encanta el ambiente acogedor de la bodega. La selección de vinos es excelente. Las comidas tradicionales son bastante buenas, a un precio muy justo dada su céntrica ubicación. Quedamos satisfechos en general y probablemente volveremos de nuevo.
