11/05/2025: Clean restaurant; very fast and friendly service

19/04/2025: The food they have is lovely and I’m always happy to try it. Would always recommend a burrito bowl as it’s top notch but was very disappointed to come in on a Friday evening at 8:55 to all the chairs up on counters and told I could only have food for takeaway, even though they were not closing for 35 mins. I understand staff wish to go home but this really put me off as it seemed that they didn’t want my business. I was meeting friends after a show in the bord gais and had come specifically to eat in boojum before meeting them. I did not eat on this occasion but I will be back to try again as I do believe they give good quality food.

05/04/2025: I went on April 1-25, we ordered fish and chicken curry, which was not tasty, but filling. We paid a total of approximately 49 euros. It is centrally located and the service is pleasant and fast.

26/03/2025: This is a simple diner with limited seating, single-occupant restrooms, respectable cutlery, and a straightforward menu. The standout option is the Southern Fried Chicken meal, offering great value and flavor. On the other hand, the veggie burger was disappointing, with a thin and uninspiring patty. If you find the oversized chips too bland, you can request chili sauce, but be aware that ketchup to go comes with a €1 charge. Overall, a decent spot for a quick meal, but with some room for improvement

10/05/2025: Ordered two coffees today they were not good. For 8 euro two coffees. I expect a better coffee. In my experience a premium coffee makes the coffee a lot nicer and then is the skill of making coffee gives the overall taste.

03/05/2025: I loved coming here they were the only place I've found that made real home made pancakes went in not long ago, and they removed the homemade pancakes and replaced them with the cheap American style nasty pancakes

21/02/2025: My daughter and I attempted to eat here after going to the Denis O'Regan Bowie exhibition. Upon entry, we noticed lots of empty tables piled high with dirty plates from previous customers. We walked through to the little counter area to see what was available to eat. We could see some delicious looking options behind the glass but couldn't see a menu or any description of what everything was. We stood waiting while a customer ahead of us was served. There was only one very harried looking member of staff on duty as far as we could tell; which explained the mess in the dining area. Eventually, my daughter and I left because just standing in the space felt stressful. It's a shame because the food looked good but there are so many things needed to fix this café. Starting with adequate staffing and visible menus.

24/03/2025: Regularly go to boojum. I got a chicken burrito which was fine. My brother got a bowl with pork which he normally gets, this came straight up after he said it didn’t taste or feel right, very very disappointing as he and I both go regularly to other stores and never have an issue.

14/03/2025: I usually have a great experience at this Boojum—the food is always excellent, and the staff are generally friendly. However, on 13 March 2025 at 18:04, I had a disappointing experience. I was ordering for a friend, but there was a miscommunication about whether they wanted a bowl or a burrito. I paid for the bowl but realized the mistake after leaving. When I returned to request a swap to a burrito, the staff said it would cost €0.85, claiming the bowl contained more food. I briefly left but returned within two minutes to clarify. A staff member initially said there would be no extra charge if the remaining food stayed in the store. We agreed, and they transferred the food to a wrap. However, after doing so, they suddenly insisted I had to pay the €0.85. When I questioned this, the staff member became aggressive, raising her voice and refusing to listen. Her attitude was unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. Another employee stepped in, took ownership of the situation, and confirmed I didn’t need to pay. I later called another Boojum location, and they said pricing policies vary by store, but swapping from a burrito to a bowl typically incurs no extra charge. This experience was disappointing. While it may have been a one-off, the staff member could have been more polite in their style of communication.

22/04/2025: Good pizza. We had a great first experience and went back but they would not let us order a pizza to go before they closed. They had closed the kitchen early.

02/04/2025: I love boojum. It’s the best. But this store provided me with half a bowl, told me they were out of lettuce and wouldn’t offer me a substitute. Rice undercooked. Poor service. Wouldn’t let us eat inside as they were closing in 30. I repeat 30 minutes before closing. Usually 15 with most places. Belfast headquarters should inspect.

13/03/2025: Terrible service. I’m learning English, but I can communicate, and the staff member laughed in my face while I was speaking. I found it awful! I had never experienced anything like this in any other establishment.

08/04/2025: High quality cake and coffee, and friedly staff. Not too crowded when I was there 11am mid week, 2/3 tables in use, but plenty of space in the Stillorgan Village mall 5 stars for the staff; Witnessed one staff member helping someone update the loyalty card and another came from behind the counter to hold the door for someone carrying their coffee and bags out to the sun... I had their almond scone, which the staff member asked if I wanted warmed. ♡ Losing stars though, because the butter and jam are still in single use plastic instead of small washable ramekins which would have both added to the aesthetic/ambience and been better for the environment.
