30/10/2025: Poor service, not nice food. Wouldn't return

10/10/2025: Really understaffed cafe. One person on the till and making the coffee/tea the queue was long. Tables were very dirty. Coffee was great

03/10/2025: Best spicebag! But Google maps and the website opening times need to be updated. At the moment it says it’s open till 1am on Thursday when it is actually 12pm. I ordered online for collection at 12:35pm but got a call at 12:10pm saying I needed to collect my order asap as they were closing. This should be amended to avoid confusion in the future!

30/09/2025: Today , I'm order the Duck black bean ( less salt , less msg , less sugar , no carrots) and long tray boil rice . But they make the food sweet in duck black bean and boiler rice warm .. the food not delicious and 1 star 4u

14/08/2025: For a building that has so much history to and known name its a shame that the building isn't cared for. From a bus empty holders for flower boxes, tampons and durex on display instead Plus side food and pints are on par with any pub nearby

16/06/2025: Extremely rude barman. Was told we wouldn't be served because we had kids with us. Barman seemed to be unaware of law allowing kids on premise until 9pm. Very few other customers even in the pub. Avoid!

23/08/2025: Una agradable cafetería con algo de comida disponible, si eso es lo que quieres. Todo lo que queríamos era un buen café, y lo conseguimos, además de algunos lugares para sentarse y usar el wifi. Y entonces estábamos en camino.

23/06/2025: We went to the local restaurant with low cuality flavour but the problem is that we found living snails in the pizza when receibed, they resigned to pay back because they said it was our fault. The sanitary rules of the stablishment should be overlooked.

30/07/2025: Yesterday i have ordered butter chicken it was not even upto mark ,it was so sweet and it doesn't have any spices and it can be improved and biryani is also very mild with artificial colours and it was not good

19/10/2025: Food wasn't great. Got a snack "C" box which is shredded chicken, salt and chilli chips, chicken balls and curry... the shredded chicken was very dry and stringy. The chips had absolutely zero seasoning and zero chilli. The chicken balls were huge and the chicken in them was good but the batter was soggy. The curry was heavy on the 5-spice which as a dip was nothing special but poured over everything was actually delicious. We added fried rice which was also good. Overall it was passable but there are a ton of better Chinese takeaways in tallaght... unfortunately this was the worst one we've had. I think I would try something else on the menu as it is highly recommended but not rushing back. I don't know if it was just a mistake by the takeaway not frying it off with seasoning and veg but it badly needed it. Maybe it's wrongly described on the menu? I didn't phone them to rectify as didnt fancy driving back over. Staff were pleasant upon collection.

16/10/2025: This is our most go to Chinese never had a bad meal they are like my 2nd kitchen for food 🤣 Highly Recommend Love the food here and the chips do be so nice 😊 and the staff are so nice people to 💖💖💖

12/10/2025: A beautiful venue, spread across three floors. The party featured a magician, an orchestra, and dancers. The waiters and staff were friendly and helpful.

21/09/2025: No food. The game was fun, the sound system could improve. It is too loud. EUR 7.90 for a pint of hophouse / perroni.

11/05/2025: Estábamos en Sandymount acogedor en busca de la cena y casi se pierde este lugar local - es bastante tranquilo y discreto desde el exterior. Por suerte, decidimos entrar y pedir una mesa. En el interior, el lugar tiene un ambiente cálido y único con mucho carácter. El personal era muy amable, y la cocina abierta con un horno de pizza visible añade una gran sensación de transparencia y autenticidad. Comimos mejillones en una deliciosa salsa de vino blanco, seguido de dos platos de pasta diferentes, ambos estaban muy buenos. Disfrutamos de la comida con una copa de vino tinto, una noche perfecta.

02/07/2025: Went in to order my usual drink which I had had in another branch earlier this morning and was told it isn’t on the menu anymore. I explained how it made as it my regular drink and every other branch makes it no problem but was told no by this rude blonde lady in this branch. Terrible service and the fact you charge almost €7 euro for a large coffee with oat milk and caramel, should be able to cater to a drink that every other branch does!

06/09/2025: Food is well it's Macdonalds fine for the occasional meal lol you know what your getting. But I will say for the love of god how difficult is it to get a order right. Everytime if large order something is missing

19/10/2025: The bar is an extension of the famous Temple Bar, with an incredible variety of local whiskeys where you can try their signature spirits (I recommend the 12-year-old). They also make the typical Irish coffee. If you're also interested in cigars or pipe tobacco, they have a wide selection. A tip: Entering through here, you can enter Temple Bar from the back, as they're connected and it's easier to get in than through the main door.

28/09/2025: Not a massive fan of whiskey but the service here was great. The bartender gave me great suggestions on what to try!
