16/08/2025: Sadly, I have to add to the bad reviews as there must have been a change of ownership at Daddy's? Or maybe it's lack of basic staff training? Ordered two sit in americanos only to get two watery drinks in take away cups, with badly pulled shots and plenty of coffee grounds in the bottom. I used to work in speciality coffee, so can spot a carelessly made coffee from miles away. The staff were pretty unwelcoming also. I won't be back!

14/07/2025: Sorry to say I have to add to the bad reviews as of late. Daddy’s used to be known for its phenomenal food and in theory the dishes are amazing. However the standard is extremely low now especially for the price you pay. On the last occasion I visited I was heavily pregnant. I got the full fry, and everything on it except the toast was disastrous. The sausage was pale, the pudding was undercooked and lukewarm and flavour was on the turn, mushroom was soggy, egg undercooked, and the bacon was hard. I would be embarrassed as kitchen staff to send that out. As for the service, we were waiting ages to be seated, ages for order to be taken, ages for food to arrive and no follow up for us to order more coffee etc. The place was dead so no excuse and plenty of staff on the floor. I used to work in the food industry and know that bad reviews can be terrible for a place but given the previous high standard I just hope owners will make some changes to get it back to what it was. As for now I won’t be back and it genuinely makes me sad! 2 stars given for the creative menu but otherwise, 1 star from me

29/04/2026: I paid fees to this college, but unfortunately my visa was refused. At the same time, my friend and I both paid the fees together. My friend received the correct refund properly, but I did not receive mine. After that, I requested a refund, but the college did not respond properly and did not return my amount in a fair and transparent way. There should be a clear and equal refund policy for all students, but I did not experience that here. Even after multiple follow-ups, I did not receive a proper response or a satisfactory refund. This experience was very disappointing. I would advise future students to clearly check the refund policy before taking admission and to be careful while making payments.

17/03/2026: Food is amazing!! Highly recommend! Tried for the first time tonight, couldnt wait after Pauls review and it didnt disappoint. Great prices and branding on point 👌😋 Never had prawn toast so good.

14/05/2026: I had a delivery come to my address and on my road there is 2 of the same number house but one is dublin 3 and one is dublin 5... my son was in the garden playing he has special needs and the delivery driver came to the gate and hands him the food and he comes into his mother and gives it to her... Mother then realises this isnt her immediately rings the company number on the receipt on the meal and the manager who cant barely speak a word of english couldnt understand that we didnt order the food and this was a mistake we asked could they come and get the food and they said yes but no one returned we then got a rude phone call from this manager basically accusing us of not giving back the food we have cameras on our house and this lady is off her trolly next time get the address right... clearly they were going to take the food from us and actually give it to who ever ordered it instead of remaking the order for health and safety reasons

05/05/2026: Delicious food. I've ordered several times now. Never actually ate in the restaurant itself only ordered home delivery. My usual is Yellow Thai curry with rice. My nephew always reminds me to MAKE SURE to order that amazing spice bag of theirs. ☺

06/05/2026: Poor experience. Visited via drive thru Tuesday May 5th 2026 Placed order with checker and then only be told " No soft drinks, machine out of service " Really? In 2026 🤦 Choice then was tea, coffee, water or milkshake. No mere mention of perhaps a discount for inconvenience? Even a free dessert or the like. Zero, zilch. And guys let's be real : You're talking about a billion dollar company here. An extremely successful franchise that could easily share a little extra as an act of gratitude if they wanted. Also gone extremely miserable regarding Ketchup, napkins. Constantly having to ask for more. Basically driving customers to the local fried chicken joint that recently opened nearby. Very disappointing experience.

02/05/2026: We went for take away but when we arrived home there was one less meal than what we ordered.Dissappointing.

12/05/2026: It's a local staple for a reason and it's a good one. They do few things: coffee, breakfast, lunch and they do it well. Staff is nice and welcoming and the ambient is charming.

08/05/2026: Overcharged me, made me return in order to get my money back and were surly about it, to put it mildly. Food was mid, service was bad. I’ll stick to the Lark in future 😂

05/04/2026: Just got home and realised they left out an entire burger, a Double Big Mac. That’s not a simple mistake; it’s being charged for something I never received. I have no tolerance for poorly run franchises with no customer service, no quality control, and no accountability.

11/12/2025: One star only to avoid giving it less. We were coming from Phoenix Park and it had started to rain, so we were wearing raincoats. I don't know if it was because of that or because we were Spanish, but they gave us a dirty look when we walked in. They asked us what we wanted, and we said we were looking for somewhere to eat. A blonde woman with long hair and a disgusted expression said that if we couldn't see how full the place was, we should know. That was a lie; there were free tables. I wouldn't recommend the service. Go to Nancys next door; they treat you much better!

22/08/2025: I really enjoyed my lunch here. There was a good choice of main courses. My chicken curry was tasty & the cabbage was great too. The Warbler & Wren coffee was delicious. If you bring your own mug of cofeee you get a 10% discount. It's very economical compared with many eateries in the vicinity, The dinning area is extensive and I enjoyed talking to some students eating lunch with me.

10/08/2025: It's advertised as open until 10:30am for breakfast. We went in at 09:55 and they had already stopped serving. We asked one of the staff, who was quite grumpy about telling us food was only served till 10. Went to Keoghs instead.

15/09/2025: Lovely spot for lunch. Staff are welcoming. Dissapointed recently however as coffee was pre made sitting in a fridge.

16/08/2025: Great spot! The açaí bowls are delicious, the protein shakes are excellent, and the staff is always super friendly. Highly recommend.

19/03/2026: My friends and I ordered the meal deal with the chicken pad Thai and spring rolls and it was delicious! A great amount of food for the price, everyone was very friendly, and everything was delicious!

10/04/2026: Just bought this fish. So dry, had to pick pieces from the middle out. Was also freezing cold. Silvio's food is unfit to eat for the price. Silvio you need to step your game up.

24/01/2026: I ordered chicken curry, chips and egg fried rice. Unfortunately the most tasteless chinese I ever had. Horrible processed chicken. Curry sauce had zero flavour. May aswell be eating a bowl of water. Egg fried rice was bland and tasteless. The chips were small dry, hard re-heats.

02/01/2026: Got a takeaway from Cabra. Very nice. Food 10 out of 10. Quick delivery, friendly. Will use again.

24/04/2026: i decided to try the takeaway because the cafe is decent. part of my order was 2 bags of chips. they both were less than 1 single from cinellies . i actually fit a single of chips on a sandwich not cheap either . i wont be ordering again
