15/03/2026: Great experience at McDonald’s Donaghmede today! The fries were fresh and hot, the staff were very friendly, and the dining area had a calm atmosphere with no loud music. It made the whole visit really pleasant. Definitely a nice spot for a quick and relaxing family meal!

08/10/2025: Very good food, the menu changes everyday. Prices are alright for the portion you get. I got the morrocon chicken tenders with couscous which was 7 euro and it was so refreshing and nice. The queue was quite long though and many of the seats were taken up

06/10/2025: The overall experience is positive but there is a lot of food and service quality issues here. The food ranges from good to poor and it's like a lotto depending on which chef is working. The catering staff are inexperienced, some of them have no idea how to prepare food so you sometimes get very sloppy serving and inconsistent portion size depending on who is serving you so there is no "standard". The final thing is, and usually it would be fine but considering this is a food business in a university catering to students, it's terrible that they are earning tens of thousands a day from students but yet still charge .30 cent fee for takeout boxes + .50 cent for wooden cutlery with every purchase!

20/03/2026: DISGUSTING PLACE. I ordered chicken katsu and they gave me pork instead, i bit into it and since it looked similar i didn’t realise until i tasted it. I will never order from here again, if you’re muslim or don’t eat pork in general do not go here.

25/01/2026: Lovely takeout restaurant! I loved the avocado cucumber cream cheese norimaki roll: I bought one set, then I had to come back 10 minutes later to order a second set. The staff that served me was really polite The place is tiny, they deserve a bigger location :D

14/02/2026: Staff here lack the basic competence to organise the orders. After 25 minutes of waiting while they sent order after order out through delivery drivers for all the various food apps. My order, upon enquiry, had not even begun to have been made. This is the 3rd time this has happened here where I have elected for a refund after wasting 30 minutes of my time, to end up with no food and to move on to somewhere else. Avoid this place at all costs if you value your time - the lack of care for having taken so long was not unnoticed either….. terrible

03/01/2026: Food was great. They gave us the perfect amount of sauce. Price was low. The tables,chairs, and floor was really clean. The bathroom was open and it wasn't loud.

16/02/2026: Very bad service. I asked for chicken wings and told they were out of stock. Then I asked for too cans of soft drinks and I was told that they can’t sell them to me. Rathmines branch is gone to hell !!!

05/03/2026: I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this an actually disappointing drive-thru service. Tonight my order number was #153 (see pic).They forgot the fries in 2 meals. I understand you’re all tired at 3am but i’m tired too and just want fries. You’re not making a michelin meal you’re putting fries in the bag. Whoever packing up the stuff to give to the customer tonight please get your eyes checked or change glasses to a higher prescription.

04/03/2026: Terrible experience, everytime go through the drive-thru forget to put some items in the bag and have to go back in the drive-thru again . Staff very rude questioning as if we were looking for a freebie, not good a customer service at all. Stay away from this establishment.

12/02/2026: I ate here a few times. My chicken wrap was fine. They kindly offered to toast it for me. The coffee was good as well. Sometimes it gets busy. It can be hard to find a table and the seats are not comfortable. Otherwise, it's a nice restaurant.

21/02/2026: Absolute joke of a place. We ordered from lins palace on Wednesday night & as the time was 30 mins past the delivery time & it came up on just-eat that food was delivered. I rang & was told they couldn't get through because of the night run which wasn't completely true as the way they come isn't the only way to access my house. Then she said they'd tried to ring my husband a few times which they hadn't & when I said he had no missed calls she then back tracked & said oh no the driver was just about to ring your husband. It was already 30 mins past delivery time & it said it was delivered. We asked for a refund & was told to contact just eat as thats were we placed the order. We did that & still no refund why because lins palace had marked the order as delivered. No apology or even offer to send the food for a delivery later the same evening or even a later date.

06/03/2026: Pita pit has some really great options. The best thing is that it has all the calorie content on the menu, which makes it easy to make an informed decision about what to eat. The food was lovely too.

02/02/2026: Ordered chicken tenders because I needed something quick. Waited 15 minutes for them to reheat two day old stale fried tenders on the grill. €10. I'd pay maybe €3 for these at a children's football concession, but this is garbage food. An extra star for lovely staff and service and the restaurant is clean, but I'm here for food. Their crisps were ok.

23/09/2025: I’m really surprised to read the review posted by John Redmond dated 22/09/25, as my own experience at this café has been completely different. I was there at the same time and witnessed the interaction mentioned. The staff member in question was polite, respectful, and provided their usual great service. I’ve always found the team here to be welcoming, hardworking, and attentive, and the food and coffee are consistently excellent. It’s a shame to see such an unfair review when the staff go above and beyond for their customers.

22/09/2025: I popped in to this cafe for a quick coffee between meetings I ordered a cappuccino only to be served by quite possibly the rudest most abrasive individual ive had the misfortune to bump into. Absolutely no manners whatsoever.He literally slammed my coffee on the table I then approached the till to pay for the coffee only to endure yet more bad manners and aggressive attitude. To the individual dressed in black that ' served ' me this morning you really need to learn how to treat customers respectfully, your an absolute disgrace
