22/03/2025: Extremely disappointing service. I stood at the counter waiting to be served while two staff members cleaned the coffee machine, completely ignoring me. No greeting, no acknowledgment, nothing. To make matters worse, the manager then came out and started cleaning the counter behind them, also ignoring me. I felt completely invisible. After waiting for what felt like an unreasonable amount of time, I left and took my business elsewhere. I won't be returning. This cafe clearly doesn't value its deaf customers

15/03/2025: Was in this store today with my 86 year old mother and the air conditioning and door was wide open. Had to keep coats on and staff member wasn’t very understanding

29/08/2025: Irish Prets are still depressingly bad at vegan options. If the answer is another sludgey "falafel", you're doing it wrong. Still excellent oat lattes tho.

17/08/2025: Open early morning on Sunday. It’s a great spot to have something little for breakfast, I tried an interesting latte with ube. It’s a bit cold due to the air conditioner in some places.

18/08/2025: Was walking by, and saw there's a new dumpling option for a starter, so popped in as I love dumplings, the woman working there was very nice, asked if wanted pork or chicken, asked her preference, she said the chicken was her preference..... and they did not disapoint. Seemed like were steamed, then pan fried, just like how I like mine, only regret is not buying a portion of the pork ones also. Will be back for more dumplings!

16/07/2025: I have ordered here for a number of years, and the reason I continued to order was the food and solely the food. Even at a time when their prices dramatically increased, we still continued to support, until last week. We ordered one main, fried rice and spring rolls and it came to 36 euro. The beef and black bean main was small with scarce pieces of meat, and the spring rolls were inedible, as if they had been sitting in oil all day. The final straw was when I rang to speak to the staff, they were extremely rude and patronising. Whatever about mistakes and errors happening with the food, there is absolutely no reason to be rude, especially as a customer who has supported them over the years. I will be ordering again and would not reccommend going forward.

17/04/2025: I’ve been to Starbucks all over the world, and here in Dublin, I visit almost every store with the exact same order every day. Today, I went to the Dundrum branch and had a really disappointing experience. A barista named Claudia told me she couldn’t fill up the cold foam on my drink because “it’s not secured.” I was genuinely confused. I’ve never been told that before. Another barista came over (she was lovely) and kindly asked, “Do you want me to fill it up?” which I really appreciated. Claudia then rolled her eyes and shook her head in disapproval multiple times, which felt unnecessarily rude. Her tone was very dismissive, and to be honest, it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a Starbucks barista. I’ve always loved how friendly and welcoming Starbucks staff are, both here and abroad, but this was the first time I felt genuinely uncomfortable. I just wanted to flag this because her attitude doesn’t reflect the usual great service I’ve come to expect from Starbucks.

19/08/2025: We had two byranai last night they were fabulous. Portion was good taste even better. Will definitely order again

30/04/2025: Ordered takeaway from Spice Guru the other day. Service was quick and smooth—Palak at the counter was super friendly and efficient. She made sure my order was correct and handed it over nicely packed with a smile. Really appreciate the warm customer service. That said, the food just wasn’t the same as before. The flavours felt a bit dull and the quality overall has noticeably dropped. I’ve been a regular here, so it’s disappointing to see the change. Hope the kitchen picks things back up, because the front-of-house staff is doing a great job!

21/07/2025: On Sunday, I experienced racial abuse from an elderly man in his sixties at Costa in Shankill. Accompanied by my nine-year-old daughter and my younger brother, I witnessed an unsettling encounter. The man struggled to use the card machine, resembling an iPad, prompting my brother to politely suggest that he tap the top part. In response, the man aggressively retorted, "Mind your own f-ing business and go back to where you came from." He further stated, "You are in Ireland now." When I asked him to elaborate on that statement, he refused to respond. I also heard him mumble something about being a woman, though I couldn't catch the exact words. His behavior escalated as he began licking his lips and eyeing me in an unsettling manner. He had a distinct accent, which I could not pinpoint—possibly African or New Zealand—but it was clearly foreign. When I confronted him regarding his remarks and inquired about his origins, he merely laughed and declined to answer. This experience has left me feeling unsafe about returning to that Costa. Such behaviour is utterly unacceptable and should not be tolerated in our community.

05/07/2025: Bright, spacious café on two floors. The barista (tall, red-haired guy) was very fast and skilled, yet he always found the time to smile. Perfect spot for meet-ups and my cortado was delicious!

24/07/2025: I got food poisoning after eating there few times and i saw a staff that wasn’t wearing gloves and she just throw things in the burger with her hand. Very unclean and unhygienic

13/08/2025: Ordered Sandwich and Chips 2 glasses of wine ! After a 25 minute wait we paid for the wine cancelled the food! They appear to give priority to their Deliverroo orders! They need to up their game! I wouldn’t recommend it! A couple at an other table were waiting 40 Mins and it still had no food! Advoid!!

04/08/2025: Visited from Belfast because of good reviews. The mango strawberry mochi did not disappoint, whipped cream blended well with flavour & mochi. But the Asian guy tending the store last 29/8/2025 at round 4pm was nasty. I asked politely if they still make a specific bun but he answered sarcastically and was making faces when I was trying to pay using my mobile. Maybe I was treated poorly because of my skin colour but regardless I was with my white husband still got a bad service. Would still come back for the mochi though.

08/07/2025: You can buy a variety of breads at a cheap price!! I ate pineapple bun? and bacon bun Both were above average delicious I will visit again to buy other breads next time!

06/09/2025: hookah is absolutely not tasty, 0 strength, I didn't like the place at all, and especially it's expensive, I don't advise anyone to come here

30/07/2025: My son loves the spice bag. I think combo 1. I got spring rolls and they were tiny but nice. I have had chicken balls with curry chips. They were freezing they went straight into the bin. Tonight I got honey spare ribs and they were delicious. The staff are extremely rude

20/08/2025: Children are definitely not welcome, if you want a place to eat with the family then don't go here!
