17/07/2026: The pastry was excellent. Ordered a birthday cake and they were super accommodating towards dietary restrictions. Cake met all expectations and specifications!

09/07/2026: Honestly the level of service received is incredible, presentation, professionalism amd of course the cakes! This establishment is 10/10 they are quick with the responsiveness too. Would definitely try again.

12/07/2026: The only place I've been to in Ireland with something approaching American-style orange chicken, which I was severely missing. Price and portion size is good, location is extremely convenient if you're taking the Dart in and out of Dun Laoghaire.

30/06/2026: Staff extremely friendly, food tastes great especially their honey chicken and spice bag! Generous portions and fair pricing. Would recommend this takeaway!

16/08/2025: Sadly, I have to add to the bad reviews as there must have been a change of ownership at Daddy's? Or maybe it's lack of basic staff training? Ordered two sit in americanos only to get two watery drinks in take away cups, with badly pulled shots and plenty of coffee grounds in the bottom. I used to work in speciality coffee, so can spot a carelessly made coffee from miles away. The staff were pretty unwelcoming also. I won't be back!

14/07/2025: Sorry to say I have to add to the bad reviews as of late. Daddy’s used to be known for its phenomenal food and in theory the dishes are amazing. However the standard is extremely low now especially for the price you pay. On the last occasion I visited I was heavily pregnant. I got the full fry, and everything on it except the toast was disastrous. The sausage was pale, the pudding was undercooked and lukewarm and flavour was on the turn, mushroom was soggy, egg undercooked, and the bacon was hard. I would be embarrassed as kitchen staff to send that out. As for the service, we were waiting ages to be seated, ages for order to be taken, ages for food to arrive and no follow up for us to order more coffee etc. The place was dead so no excuse and plenty of staff on the floor. I used to work in the food industry and know that bad reviews can be terrible for a place but given the previous high standard I just hope owners will make some changes to get it back to what it was. As for now I won’t be back and it genuinely makes me sad! 2 stars given for the creative menu but otherwise, 1 star from me

24/05/2026: Had a 6th year graduation here bouncers didn't let in any black people in. Left a girl stranded outside without any battery on her phone alone. Disrespectful and disgusting

27/05/2026: I only relised Brennans bread slices have got smaller and when you toast them they get smaller again no i won't be buying it any more i have changed after all them years buying Brennans bread and i wouldn't mind its the same price so thats it you can keep your small slices.

18/07/2026: You are lucky I am even putting down a star. I was doing my shopping and I put something in my pockets as I had dropped my wallet and keys bc I wasn't putting it on some mucky baby products. As I put it in my pocket an Indian security guy grabbed me and said no stealing in front of the public. I was raised to always but my stuff. He made a while scene as I told him my pockets were wide open and I could clearly see I had dropped my loot. He made me pay at the counter not the self working machines and didn't let me buy anything else. Must be because I do not look Irish the prejudice is insane.

18/07/2026: The security guard was very disrespectful we where walking around with a can in our hands and he all of a sudden has the urge to come up to us and accuse us of trying to steal never felt more embarrassed ever I feel like I’m being aimed at because I’m not Irish very disappointed and definitely will never come back here again the people around us found it very strange as well as we did nothing wrong

24/07/2026: Chicken is clean no dirty bits, chicken doesn't stink either. Very high quality ingredients and marinade. Chips are hot soft crispy fresh! Excellent customer service and Safraz is absolute gentleman - recommended us some good chicken. Thank you Chicken is marinated very well and steamed well before it goes onto the grill. 10/10 can't fault the food at all. Behind us sat some uni students who had finished eating & left the table with all their leftovers and packing -what an absolute mess, the bin was behind them (typical lazy student behavior) A family of like 8 entered the shop a few minutes later and a staff member came out and cleaned the table asap! What's a prompt good service. Very kind and very good hospitality. Cleanliness is their forte. Brilliant to see Will defo be coming again

21/07/2026: This restaurant is definitely not as good as it used to be. The chicken was dry, the service was slow, and there seemed to be little sense of urgency in satisfying customers. The pizza had very few toppings, and the niblets were undercooked and overly salty. Overall, I had a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was not worth the money.

11/07/2026: Food great delivery man came to door and complained we lived too far away don’t have it available to order on deliveroo if you are going to then berate customers for ordering but well done will not be ordering again and we would have ordered quite regularly and never any complaints but he had guaranteed I won’t again

04/05/2026: Terrible. I've been a customer on MFusion from day 1, and I expecting the same standards since the ownership/name change but I was seriously disappointed. After asking for no onions, ALL of the dishes had lots of onions. The shredded chicken tasted like it was made daysago and re-fried. When I spend €4.80 on a side order of mushrooms, I just want mushrooms....it had onion, spring onion and carrots in it?? And lastly, the beef satay was absolutely horrible. With my first bite, I got a massive chunk of pineapple in my mouth. When I called to complain I was told that's normal...I've been eating and cooking satay for 25 odd years and have never seen pineapple on the ingredients list. I also remarked that if this is how they want to make it then they should have it listed as an ingredient in the website. So disappointed

12/07/2026: I have not had food here so can’t rate it. I’ve had coffee twice and it’s ok, but not amazing. The problem is consistently the poor service, which many other reviews mention also. Today we waited at the counter, completely unacknowledged by multiple staff who avoided even looking at us or the people behind us because they were already overwhelmed with the existing food orders. This is awkward and unwelcoming and I definitely don’t recommend experiencing it.

24/07/2026: I rang the shop in Stillorgan, and asked if they did dairy free cakes, as I can't eat dairy, I think she was spanish, but so rude and just said no we don't, even if they did I wouldn't go there. They should train their staff how to have mannerson the phone. Very disappointed

26/06/2026: Insomnia Coffee is a great spot for a variety of food, breakfast or lunch. We ended up eating there twice in 2 different locations. Pastries, hot food, made to order and allergy friendly. It was a pleasant surprise. GF, DF options.

05/06/2026: D'olier street at O'connell bridge- Please train your staff properly on how to make coffee and provide good customer service. Today I ordered a soya matcha with one shot of coffee, and unfortunately the drink was made incorrectly from start to finish. Before steaming the milk, the staff member did not purge the steam wand. She also appeared unfamiliar with basic milk-texturing technique and how to handle the milk jug correctly. I specifically requested the drink extra hot, but it was served cold. The drink was then assembled incorrectly, with the milk poured into the cup first, followed by the coffee and the matcha on top. As a paying customer, I expect a well-made drink and efficient service before heading to work. Instead, I received a disappointing coffee and very slow service, which completely ruined my morning. I would appreciate it if you could provide better training for your staff, both in barista skills and in listening carefully to customer requests. Attention to detail and good service make a huge difference to the customer experience.

19/06/2026: The guy that delivered our coffee rubbed his fingers all over the rim of the cups! So gross and unhygienic. Please give some adequate training. Also, the watery whipped cream they serve with the cake is not OK - cake was good though.

06/06/2026: Coffee here is absolutely atrocious. Consistently awful. And it's the same in any Brambles café to be honest. Marlay, Knocklyon, St Enda's. Just absolutely brutal coffee, served scalding hot and burnt to hell, bitter and acrid.
