18/08/2025: The toasted banana bread is delicious. Staff super friendly. The calm atmosphere inside makes you almost forget you’re in the heart of city centre

31/07/2025: Day old pastry. Deal advertised as any made drink and any pastry ordered a drink and they then stipulated it had to be coffee with no modifications. My mum with severe allergies ordered an oat milk tea to be given the wrong tea and cows milk. Staff were more annoyed at us than apologetic even though they did admit they knew the order was for oat milk. Bad day.

24/05/2026: Ordered twice from this Chinese on Uber eats. Both times there was a problem. The first time it was late and I had to call them. They said only then that they started preparing the food. The second time it didn’t show up at all with no contact from the Chinese. Don’t order stay away

15/04/2026: They only accept cash (as they don’t pay tax) and their “fried rice” is just rice. Avoid.

20/05/2026: Mcdarrah or whatever his name is absolutely sucks as a bartender. Wow. Negative 10. Guy is just standing there with his arms crossed doing NOTHING. What a loser

01/05/2026: Ah Coppers what can I say about it, have u ever visited a place which feels more like home than your actual home. The entire experience feels like a warm hug after a hard days work in the coleslaw mines. The people were welcoming and friendly and two girls even asked myself and my colleague if we had any fast gas, I’m not sure what this is but I can only assume it’s some sort of coleslaw. The place had a lovely smell of bathroom bought cologne and gaa lads farts. The floor was exceptionally clean as the staff were practicing curling for the next Winter Olympics by constantly mopping the floor. Overall myself and my fellow colleagues had a lovely time and thankfully were able to leave at a reasonable hour as we had to check out of our hotel 14 hours later. -Brendan (arch bishop of banterbury and captain of shifting)

20/12/2025: Asked for thin and crispy garlic bread over the phone. Received a raw dough garlic bread, which was not thin or crispy. Came back to the store and asked nicely to just remake it, no issues at all. Started getting cheek from the chef that the garlic bread should be thick and fluffy. Well I don’t care because I asked for thin and crispy. Either way, his point didn’t matter because the dough was literally raw, just remake the pizza and stop chatting. Some new lady that helps making the pizzas started making disgust faces at me, as if I’m crazy for not eating a raw dough pizza. Madness.

15/12/2025: Dont order for delivery if your hungry because you'll be left famished, be prepared to wait 1hr and half, and pizza will arrive all soggy not nice at all!! Collection great! fresh! Just avoid ordering for delivery, as they wont even answer the phone for an update

21/04/2026: I don't normally order Chinese as it can be hit and miss but it was midnight and our choices were limited so took a chance on Ledgendary and the food was AMAZING!!!! Everything was fresh full of flavour and NOT greasy!! The crab claws were a standout a generous portion (about five), packed with delicious meat, and crunchy fried onions. The aromatic duck with pancakes was divine perfectly cooked (not fatty at all), the plum sauce was so rich and yummy it came with really fresh, crunchy carrots, cucumber, and celery. The egg fried rice was spot on, and the sweet and sour sauce was full of flavour not overly sugary like some places. As someone who doesn’t normally choose Chinese food, I was genuinely impressed. Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour. I’ll definitely be ordering again — highly recommend!

04/05/2026: It’s probably the only and the best KFC you can find in Ireland. Have tried many KFC in Ireland and they are all shite. Only this one has amazing and juicy chicken. Unreal.

24/04/2026: The woman today at 1pm wouldn’t take my order despite taking the order for the man in front of me. At the order window there was a sign “please order at red box”, I drove around to the other side of KFC and there was no red box, the guy in-front of me had done the same thing. I watched him order and tap his card. I attempted to order she said no I had to drive back around and queue again. Apparently the red box was before the usual order window, I don’t know how she expected someone to reverse in a drive thru queue when I’d already queued 15 mins. Ridiculous. If you’re going to take orders at the collection window then don’t pick and choose whose order you take, and place your signage sooner.

22/12/2025: I ordered salt & chiilli chicken I ate 2 pieces and realised it was lyk jelly in the inside it was completely raw I didn’t eat anymore of it I rang in 2 complain the lady that answered was very rude and asked me what can she do about that she said she would call me back in 10mins and lied I am very worried hopefully we won’t get sick for Xmas I feel disgusted please have this food place closed down before someone gets sick from it !!!🤢🤢🤢🤮

02/01/2026: Very disappointing experience. The staff was rude and unprofessional, which completely ruined the visit. I expect basic courtesy as a customer, and unfortunately that was missing here. I won’t be returning to this location.

23/09/2025: Dublin Kebab - the chicken wing meal is where it’s at. They cook the wings over their bbq grill or over the tandoori oven. Comes with a salad, freshly baked homemade flat bread and 2 sauces. I could be here all day talking about how good it is. Always feel good after it . Takes a little longer than their other stuff to prepare but it’s worth the wait in my humble opinion

02/04/2026: Ordered well done bacon on my chips 15 mins before I arrived and was notified it would be ready in 15 mins but not even started when I got there as I seen he only put on 1 miserable piece of bacon after I arrived and said I ordered online. The 1 piece of bacon which was half fat, hardly cooked, mean portion for the price, never returning and would advise to avoid

14/03/2026: I stopped by Jani’s Take Away after seeing the location and reading strong reviews. The spot looked promising and I wanted to try it for myself. The food was quick and convenient. I appreciated the fact the order was made fresh and not pulled from frozen. The fish was good and tasted fresh, which I liked. The chips were not my favorite. They were cut quite thick and ended up a bit soggy for my taste. I tend to prefer chips with more crisp, though I know some people enjoy them thicker. One part of the experience felt a little off. The person who took my order, who I imagine might have been the owner or manager, did not seem thrilled to be there. I asked about an item I had seen listed for Wednesday Fish and Chips. He explained that price was only for the Wednesday and the regular price was a few euro more. I had no issue paying the higher price at all. When I said that was fine, the interaction still felt a bit reluctant, almost like ordering fish and chips was an inconvenience. I understand running a takeaway all day is tiring, and it may have simply been a long shift. I have my own business and work extremely long days, so I can empathize. And, I still manage to smile and offer some warmth when enacting with customers. The food itself was fresh and the fish was solid. The overall experience just felt a little less welcoming than I expected.

30/08/2025: We love this spot. The bakery stuff is pretty good, I wish they had a microwave to warm the them. Coffee is okay and the environment is already pretty. You could swing by Box’d for a coffee after a walk in the path.
