01/07/2026: It’s disgusting that the staff here constantly delete reviews so I need to keep doing this so people avoid the place. I ordered a few months back and when my food arrived the delivery driver was screaming down the phone at me to come outside. My wife and child were terrified immediately, and I went outside and couldn’t see him. He rang again screaming at me, but I could now see him at the wrong door. I think he was panicking because he was parked above? I’m not sure. However he seemed really aggressive and his English wasn’t amazing. I rang Jamaal , they apologised and told me to ring the following day to speak to the manager. I did that, and the guy lied to me and said no manager was there. I was fuming because we had a huge , thuggish delivery driver screaming aggressively at me down the phone and scaring my family , why would Jamaal tell me to ring for the manager? When I said I’ll just leave a few bad reviews if an apology (all I wanted at the time) wasn’t given, the guy then said he WAS the manager and started shouting threateningly down the phone. The food is actually grand for when you’re hammered and you don’t mind eating greasy slop, and I used to enjoy it. I’ve gotten as many people as possible in Inchicore to never go there since the aggressive delivery man came and the manager berated me over the phone and I’ll continue doing so. If you want good food, rascals or even golden spoon , really nice staff there instead

09/04/2026: I ordered a doner kebab from Jamaal 5 in 1 Takeaway and the experience was very disappointing. The kebab was not good at all. It was cold and felt like it had only been slightly reheated rather than freshly cooked. The meat tasted as if it wasn’t properly cooked, which immediately put me off. The overall taste was poor and not something I would want again. The toppings were extremely limited. There was hardly anything apart from lettuce and some sauce. For a doner kebab, you expect at least a few more options or a better mix, but this felt very basic and incomplete. It was a takeaway order, and even basic things were missed. The staff forgot to add napkins or tissues, and on top of that, there was no cutlery either. It almost felt like they expected the food to magically reach my mouth once I opened the packet. Maybe he is a magician in his own shop, but in reality the food quality does not support that idea. Prices are cheap, but I also noticed the kitchen and it did not look standardized or very reassuring. The staff were rude, lacked etiquette, showed no politeness, and avoided eye contact. The overall atmosphere felt uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place at all.

06/03/2026: Ordered chicken wrap..and within 4 hours I was on the toliet with the runs. Got food poisoning from this place! Never AGAIN

17/05/2025: Los baños de señoras tienen un piso que no se ha limpiado correctamente en años. Los lavabos están sucios, sin jabón. Todo el lugar necesita un buen fregado. No es un buen baño, para los turistas que visitan la ciudad supuestamente justa de Dublín!

03/05/2025: Llegó a las 2. 00 traigo tragos en el bar. Cuando usé a las damas no había rollo de papel higiénico en ninguno de los cubículos y el inodoro estaba guiñado. No parecía limpio. Los muebles del bar en general necesitarían una renovación. La elección de comida era muy limitada.

01/01/2026: Got a quick bite. Bought a meal deal and went large on fries and drink. Bag of fries was tiny. When I queried the portion size, the manager said he doesn't control the portion size. Food was the cold side of warm.

04/11/2025: I have had chilly cheese bites in many burger king & there are really good. This one is horrible. They always give cheese bites that are made hours ago. Just reheat them and give. It was like stone. Absolute waste of money, The staff are friendly but food is horrible. Very disappointing

09/06/2026: Grew up beside it in corduff ,i was looking forward to going back after many years .My daughter booked the upstairs for few drinks after grandsons christening in corduff church facing leonards, saturday evening ,booking was free as 50+ were attending so that was a bonus, platters of chicken wings,cocktail sausages etc were served and much nicer than expected..excellent day ..then moved to centre seats when numbers dropped, major mistake as we could smell toilets more than beer,impossible for owner/staff not to smell -moved downstairs to main lounge around 9pm...i was then shocked how quite it was as i grew up there and it used to be a good busy spot...there was maybe 15 other people there on a saturday night..wow! Singer started singing- nothing but des o connor songs -way too loud,i walked outside and spent the remainder of the night outside front doors standing...if its not pulling in locals on a weekend night then something seriously wrong apart from that smell....staff were absolutely brilliant 10/10,they couldnt be faulted so thank you lads ...

20/05/2026: All set for 4 of us to go in for dinner to be (eventually) told it's only on Thursday Checked social media before going and nothing about it, we did see a small generic menu The staff I attempted to ask barely spoke English and took three attempts too get this information

17/07/2026: Always got the spice bag meal deal, it recently went up by €1 and the bag has actually got smaller in size, not a great way to keep customers!

13/06/2026: I saw this restraunt on Facebook. A guy did a review of it. I had to look up the address from their page. I also got the menu from their website. When I asked for a particular item he looked at me and said that's not "our" page and became very rude and refused to service me. I ordered chicken balls and chips but got given fried rice. The chicken balls were very burnt and the rice was dry but ok. The curry sauce was delicious. I won't be going back.

31/07/2025: We really enjoyed X Spice, its tasty dished like the Hot Box and its friendly owner and staff. Sadly it closed permanently this month.

23/07/2026: Extremely disappointed with my experience at Dicey's. I was asked to leave the venue without being given any clear explanation or the opportunity to understand what was happening. I wasn't causing any trouble, yet I was removed in a way that felt unfair and disrespectful. I am a travel content creator and influencer who regularly shares my experiences with thousands of people across my social media platforms. I always try to recommend places that provide a good experience, but unfortunately, I cannot do that in this case. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect and given a fair explanation before being removed from a venue. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dicey's. I will continue sharing my honest experience on my Instagram whenever I talk about places to visit in Dublin, so people can make informed decisions before spending their money there.

22/07/2026: A pretty crazy place - in a cool way! If you're into partying and colors, then Dicey's is definitely worth a visit!

28/06/2026: 2024: I think it’s under new ownership as is so different, Food was bland, ordering was awkward. Unfortunate as previous owners ran a great shop. Update 2026 (with photos) Really poor food, terrible quality of meat / ingredients..awful smell of fish in the shop, dirty inside. The chicken seemed old and refried as was extremely greasy and tough, the prawn toast was so poor, laughable really, 2cm thick at most. A real shame as the previous owners of this place slung some seriously good grub. Avoid.

24/07/2026: I came early in the morning and barista didn’t pay any attention, I said good morning and still no attention she was just continuing to do what she was doing, until another next customer came. It is rude service

19/05/2026: Felt very welcomed by the 2 employees who were working hard at serving people and cleaning out the restaurant. Drink was made perfectly and employees were smiling. A 5/5 in my Starbucks book.

29/06/2026: Ordered Veg Pizza, Spicy bag and shredded chicken for the first time and the taste was amazing… I even ordered the second time and the food was good

22/06/2026: Pizza was very good and done very quick. I went to pick up the food myself and the people there were very kind, I didn’t have to wait at all for my food which is lovely. Definitely enjoyed it!

06/07/2026: Direct order from the Deliveroo app at 1:30am, 2:20am and it was still with the status of preparing the food. We called to find out how it would be and at first the staff hung up on me saying that they were already closed. I called again after a certain time asking about the order and he asked for the address and that he was already on the way, I asked for how long and he hung up on me again. I called twice more and they didn't answer. I had to ask for help from support directly from the app where they returned it saying that in 7 minutes it would arrive at the residence and it didn't. All this time of call and contact with the chat was already more than 2:40am and in Google it already said that they were closed. Bad service, if you don't want to work better resign and leave the job to those who really need it.

26/05/2026: Old style suburban dublin pub in tymon north tallaght, we had a carvery lunch and it was quite nice , staff were friendly and helpful in their old school Dublin way which i found amusing .very pleasant.

23/06/2026: When we arrived we ordered 2 matchas with a Cup of ice on the side, The barista has served us in bad ways and with a bad face. We ordered a brownie to accompany it and it was so hard that we couldn't eat it. The matchas didn't taste like anything, they were bad. We won't return
