30/03/2026: I also had a disappointing experience at this location. It was just before 5pm and I wanted to buy a couple of cold drinks (a can of Coke and a bottle of lemonade), but the staff member told me the till was closing and refused to serve me. However, I stayed nearby with my friends for a while and noticed that the shop was still open. In fact, just a few minutes later, I saw another customer being served and buying a bottle of water. This felt confusing and unfair, as I was turned away even though the shop was clearly still operating. I hope the management can address this inconsistency in service.

14/02/2026: The bored Chinese speaking barista from the 14 feb morning shift should be trained in vocals: mumbling names, no one hears and drinks get cold. Since they jack up the small Americano to 4€ they should also increase the customer service levels.

03/07/2026: Unable to rate food as I was not served, I came in before closing and I was refused service and when I asked for any details the employee was very rude to me, used to love this place but I’m much less likely to come again now

22/04/2026: I had a hilarious (and tragic) moment when a seagull snatched my lunch, but the staff at Wok In were absolute legends. They were so kind and gave me a fresh replacement bowl for free! The service is amazing, the staff are lovely, and the food is delicious. Highly recommend—just watch out for the birds!

10/04/2026: Just bought this fish. So dry, had to pick pieces from the middle out. Was also freezing cold. Silvio's food is unfit to eat for the price. Silvio you need to step your game up.

19/10/2025: Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the "Italian coffee" expectations the logo suggests. The coffee has a bitter, acidic aftertaste, and the desserts are a bit dry.

12/10/2025: On Sundays at 8 a.m., there aren't many options for a small vegan meal. I'm not a fan of coffee, but the other options were superb: friendly, ambiance, food, and open on Sundays. The vegan options are clearly listed on the website. The apple crumble was our highlight 👍👍👍

11/07/2026: Its ok, not bad but not brilliant. The main was with tofu but there was no veg at all in the dish. A bit of veg would be better also portion was quite small. Flavour wise it is ok. Might try again with something else

19/07/2026: Excellent cafe, food is creative and very tasty! I do love their ethos of using their own grown and reared food to serve. Always and interesting menu, beautiful salads mix ❤️ i sometimes find it very noisy/echoes with the open plan though. Maybe some higher screens to seperate sections would help? 🤔

13/06/2026: Service was extremely slow. 20 minutes just to take our order. Overheard the short thin guy being extremely emotional and short, giving out to staff for taking too many food orders at the same time and I counted 19 people in the main part of the restaurant. A couple on the table beside us ordered drinks and then left 30 minutes later because nobody came back to take their food order after being told they could only take drink orders for a while. Nobody said this to us but our lovely waitress got scolded for taking our drink and food order together. From the moment we were seated, it took 55 minutes for our food to arrive and it wasn't anything special - sandwich, salad and kids chicken and chips. The most frustrating part was the wait for our child, one of two kids there and they didn't care that they were waiting a child wait almost an hour for food, usually restaurants send out the kid orders first. Probably won't be back.

24/04/2026: i decided to try the takeaway because the cafe is decent. part of my order was 2 bags of chips. they both were less than 1 single from cinellies . i actually fit a single of chips on a sandwich not cheap either . i wont be ordering again

20/07/2026: Ordered (albeit on World Cup Final night) at 23:20 and it didn't turn up until 00:45 or so. I had to ring to confirm it was coming and despite Just Eat saying it was out for delivery, the restaurant said the courier had only arrived and it would be another 15 mins. When it finally arrived they charged me more than the order price on Just Eat. Portions were small and poor value for money and taste wasn't as good as it has been previously. Won't be ordering from here again any time soon.
