02/06/2025: My daughter rang for delivery and paid in full. She recieved a call 20 mins later saying it was an extra €5 delivery charge as it was outside the delivery area. She tried to cancel but was told the driver had left. Driver arrived and asked for the other €5 and said he knew nothing about it. Food was cold and below average. Stay away

26/09/2025: I live in Lucan and my best friend introduce me to this guys as he lives in the apartments beside, for me is the best kebabs tray around and staff are really friendly, there are days i drive over on purpose to buy my kebab tray.

19/09/2025: they messed up my order was missing items and charged me for it all. Very short and rude.

21/09/2025: Drive through food order was wrong and when brought back after driving home to eat it there was offer of anything.....

18/09/2025: THIS IS SOOOOOO SOOO SUPER DUPER GOOD 🤗🤗😋😋😋😋😋😋, I WOULD SAY ITS THE MOST ANGELIC, THE SOFTEST , JUCIEST , CRUNCHY CHICKEN NUGGETS , BUT THEY DONT DO DINO NIGGETS SO THATS NOT GOOD …. BUT I EAT HERE EVERYDAY AND ITS SO GOOD , THERE WAS SOMETHUNG REALLY WEIRD ON THE GROYND AND I TOOK A PICTURE , PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THIS RE DCURLY HAIRED MINION ISNT ON IR GRIUND NEXT TIME , THANK YOU , LOVE YOU BOO BOO

05/10/2025: Just had breakfast at Avoca Rathcoole (egg cafe)... poorest service anytime in our life... ordered 2 x breakfast...they forgot my girlfriends order...had to get out of my seat four times to ask for water, coffee and generally trying to find out what was going on with our order, staff too busy not actually doing much rashers were hard, obviously cooked a long time before and left sitting under heat lamps My girlfriend left as I brought things up with supervisor and to cap it all I was told that I was being rude to staff and upon leaving was sarcastically told to have a nice day...needless to say we will never be going back...

04/10/2025: Changed menu is expensive and now way over priced. While nice, the cost for what you get is a total rip-off. Their previous menu was much better. Now, like for like, €3 for maple syrup, €3 for berry compote, €3 for marscapone, €3 for macadamia brittle on top of an €8 pancake 'stack' = €20 for pancakes?? FYI - 2 pancakes is not a stack. Used to enjoy it, but they're now taking the piss. Will not return. (I feel for the staff who are lovely, and have to answer questions on a confusing menu with completely overpriced food.)

15/10/2025: I love Zambrero as a restaurant, and this place was very local for me and handy. Although after recent events I’ve decided to move on to a different Zambrero to enjoy my burritos. I used to always order ahead online and then pick it up in store. I found though that in my more recent online orders they didn’t even start to make it until I arrived to collect it. It wasn’t an excuse like “we wanted it to be fresh for you” it was simply that they just didn’t prioritise it. If they’re busy I get it but I usually order at slower times of the day so that I can get my food. I also only arrive at the time allocated for me to pick up my food. The laziness was getting annoying but I let it slide. What was my final straw with this branch was the experience I had the one time and ordered my food face to face, solely to avail of the student meal where I can get a free can of choice. As I was ordering the girl clearly wasn’t interested to begin with. I’m giving her basic manners and instructions so unsure what her issue was. When I get to the till I ask nicely if I can avail of the student deal and she asks me to show valid ID. I show her my UniDays profile that clearly states my name, college and even a photo of my face. She immediately shuts it down and says it’s an invalid form of ID and she’s not giving me the deal. I ask her why and she just says it’s invalid. The girl next to me in line sees my frustration and steps up to say how she always uses her UniDays ID and they give her the deal. Nowhere in this branch did it say that this wasn’t a valid ID. If something is not a valid form of ID, a shop MUST state this at the till for customers. They failed to do this. The worker gave it to me but said she’d never be able to do this if “the owner was here”. I’d be very surprised if the owner of that tiny branch is there often. Maybe a manager yes, but the owner? Ok. She very rudely sat down my items the till and didn’t even give me a bag to take away my food. I have now moved to a more communal branch and they never ask me for my student ID anymore because I am a frequent and loyal customer and also am clearly a student. They took my UniDays no issue. To Beacon, do better. You have to label what is and isn’t accepted in a shop for customers. It can’t be a surprise when they come up to the till expecting a free drink. Students everyday look for ways to save an extra bit of money. Would also like to state that you cannot set up a UniDays account without a valid student email linked to a real college. It expires every year and you have to apply for renewal so that they know you’re still a student. It’s not a fake app where you can get away with anything. State policies in stores and train your workers to not be so lazy.

21/09/2025: Place was rough. And really dirty had to ask for table to be cleaned. If it wasn't a necessary stop to use bathroom wouldn't have stayed. Bathrooms needed to be cleaned badly also.

07/09/2025: Given zero stars, I work nearby this mcdonalds, I drove there expecting to go to get quick service got to speaker ting to make my order , guy goes hello be with you in a moment. I waited there for about 10 mins no one ever got back to me. Loads of cars behind me beeping so I drove around to the hatch snd no one there I beeped a few times no one came so I just drove off. Kip of a place

30/07/2025: Ordered online fish; travelled 50 km to collect; fish sold to someone else. I booked Tuna fish ( almost 9.5 kg) online well in advance and received confirmation that it’d be ready for collection.i told them i would be reaching around 1.3 hour. I drove 50 km to the shop, but upon arrival was told it had already been sold to someone else—with no prior notice or apology. No fish to collect, and all my time and travel was wasted. I really do not recommend this shop and customer service. I had a bad experience.

30/07/2025: We ordered fish online and requested them to keep the whole tuna fish aside for us. They confirmed the order with the customer name. We were asked to collect it from the shop. We travelled almost an hour for it. When I reached there they had already sold the item to someone not giving me prior notice/ attention to me. Without knowing it, I travelled there. My time and fuel were wasted . It is very disappointing. I really do not recommend the shop because their customer service and not keeping their word.

26/10/2025: Saturday wrap offer - sweet chilli wrap - absolutely disgusting soggy and clearly old chicken in a cold wrap. I couldnt swallow the first bite - It felt like a mass of mayo absorbed by the breaded chicken for over a week

18/07/2025: My 83 year old mother canceled an order 1 night and another night she couldn't get down the stairs fast enough to the door and hadn't credit to ring them back cause I was after ringing to order for her, so didnt no she didnt answer the door, i didnt get any phone call,,, so now won't deliver to her, 30 years living and ordering chippers from whatever new chipper takes over and this ignorant bxxxx gets on the phone as ignorant as she is then hangs up no thanl you goodbye nothing. She and myself will take our money somewhere else thank you.

10/07/2025: Unfortunately, I've had my orders messed up multipe times and been outright given the wrong order more than twice from different staff and seen them mess up other people's orders and have to run after them. I mean in both the sense of getting the order's detail wrong, like leaving on onions when you asked for none, or outright giving you someone else's food. There's making a mistake and there's being consistantly disorganized. The staff arent at all unfriendly, the food is fine when you get what you ordered, but double check what they give you before you've gone all the way home. I really don't recommend going here if you have specific allergies.

21/09/2025: In my recent visit to the chipper, I was disappointed to find a burnt burger bun that greatly affected my enjoyment of the meal. The charred bun was off-putting and took away from the overall taste experience. I hope the restaurant can improve their quality control.

13/08/2025: 4 Euro 20 cent for a bag of chips, It's overpriced everyday food I wouldn't recommend.

08/09/2025: The lads are great and look after you. A decent local, nothing fancy. Decent pool table.
