06/02/2025: Small coffee shop Across from the RDS, only a 1 or 2 min walk. Pre-packed sandwiches or rolls. Various cakes and biscuits and the usual variety of coffee. Small seating area inside and outside. some bar like tables and stools with power points for charging.

08/11/2024: Asqueroso 🫣 🤮 fila hecho kebab y las cosas muy groseras y decepcionadas, encontré un pedazo de plástico en mi plato y el cordero era completamente fila incluso sangre cuando estaba tratando de explicar al personal (un hombre de cocina me preguntan "y" , creo que hizo el plato 🤮🫣y me cobraron precio completo incluso no comí, no puedo comer carne de fila , nunca más ir allí, no recomendar

20/04/2025: I only gave one star so that they would let me write, the truth is that I always travel and something like this has never happened to me. The receptionist broke my lock because I made a mistake and used the Wrong locker made fun of me to my face he laughed and treated me in a derogatory manner I spoke Very little English and I asked for a translator who was in the Bar, a guy who speaks Spanish and he didn't allow it, he is simply disrespectful, he broke my lock, they took my things out of the room, yes. Call me and ask me what happened He says that he Hotel can do those things to you I asked him to show me the policy where it says that they can do that and he laughed at me. I didn't even understand that he only spoke English and that if I didn't understand, he wasn't going to do anything. I mean, they broke my lock, they exposed my luggage and in the process, they took it from me. The staff at the reception is a shame. I was very excited because I liked the hotel for the price-quality ratio but with this insecurity that they do things without looking for other solutions, changing the box while I arrive is a solution or calling me on the phone. In short, 0 points for customer service and the worst thing is that the lock did not want to pay me. I only gave one star so I could write this review. The truth is, I travel often and nothing like this has ever happened to me before. A staff member at the reception broke my lock because I mistakenly used the wrong locker. He laughed in my face and treated me with complete disrespect. I don't speak much English, so I asked him to use a translator or to call over the Spanish-speaking guy at the bar, and he refused. His behavior was completely disrespectful. He broke my lock, removed my belongings from the room without calling or asking me what had happened. He claimed the hotel is allowed to do that, and when I asked him to show me the policy that says so, he just laughed at me. He said that since he only spoke English, if I didn't understand, that was my problem. So not only did they break my lock and expose my belongings, but he also mocked me for it. I asked for a complaint form, and he just gave me an email address for someone named Carlos Martínez, supposedly the manager, to whom I should send an email to report the abuse from this employee. I hope this message reaches management and they take a serious look at who they have working at the front desk. It’s really a shame because I was excited to stay here, I liked the hotel and thought it had a good price-quality ratio. But with this level of insecurity and lack of proper solutions, like simply moving the locker or calling me, it's unacceptable. Zero points for customer service. And the worst part? He didn't even offer to pay for the broken lock.

27/02/2025: I have a dairy allergy and specifically asked for coconut milk. I took a sip of my drink and asked the barista if it was coconut milk. She checked with her colleague (blonde girl) who had made the drink. The blonde girl just laughed and said no even though she clearly heard me asking about vegan options. Food allergies are serious and not something that people should mess with. The blonde girl was very rude and dismissive but her colleague was very kind and made me another drink. Thankfully there is a pharmacy nearby so I could get my medicine and I am okay. Please take food allergies seriously.

15/02/2025: Order a hot drink and it will be served with a complementary small cupcake. I had a bacon brioche to go. The egg was too cooked, the bacon wasn't crispy and the brioche was a standard white bun. It was good but expect average quality.

09/02/2025: Bakehouse CHQ is a simple but effective place for a lunch break. The sandwiches are decent, the place is clean and pleasant. Fast service, ideal for a meal on the go

04/05/2025: I just ordered tonight for a first time in ages, girl on the phone was lovely and very helpful, order was delivered within 20 minutes piping hot and absolutely delicious , delivery driver was so nice and pleasant he even gave me a bag of prawn crackers for free because I forgot to order them 😋 overall absolutely gorgeous food 😋

02/04/2025: I ordered a veg rice, a dal makhni, a mushroom kofta curry and naan. Omg, i am a non vegetarian but this mushroom veg curry is my new fav. Their food is affordable, fresh and good quality. The food was steaming hot and my god, my fav veg restaurant till now.❤️❤️

15/01/2025: Had coffee in cafe nero on Dawson street today, and all was very nice until I went to the toilet. Toilet was very dirty and clearly had not been cleaned for some time as demonstrated by the bin, which was covered in grime. The stairs leading down to the toilet was also very dirty. The cafe itself was fine. Hopefully, this will be addressed. Great coffee

14/01/2025: I was in Christmas week in Nero, to grab a coffee to warm up my day … and it was a good experience since the service, and the cappuccino as it was delicious!!! :)
