15/09/2024: Burger was exceptional. Chips were unfortunately a bit soggy. Burger good enough to earn 5 stars despite the chips.

13/09/2024: Got the double cheese burger, both pattys were overcooked and tough to chew. The chunky chips were awful and the "homeslaw" coleslaw was disgusting and a little tiny bowl of it was €6 which is simply just thievery. Would recommend everyone to avoid this place completley, just not up to standard at all. If you want a burger go around the corner to Five Guys, even McDonald's would be better .

17/07/2025: Dangerous. Lacking air con stale air, I completely understand young people working in a cinema but the ratio of teens to adults working there on a busy night is a recipe for disaster. I almost passed out with the heat and not one person checked on me, loads of young workers passing by but sure what would they do? Place should be shut down if not a complete changeover of management, no longer fit for purpose.

08/06/2025: I truly enjoy my experience across Starbucks as my daily coffee run. Between the specials and now trying the dirty Chai which came to an incredible surprise with an incredible aroma and notes. A special thanks to Ms Kubra , I believe is the manager who recommended the beverage and showcased exemplary service and patience when explaining the drinks. A take this moment to write as a reflection of a fantastic member of the team as the highest standards it has to offer. 06/04/2025: I came to Howth today for the 1st time. I ordered squid. I'd just like to say that I think I paid a lot for a squid potion : €12.90 (is that the tourist price or the normal price ?). For 12.90€ it must come with something else because it was in a basta box. It's really not fair to rip off tourists !

11/02/2025: The coffee was good but not exceptional to warrant the cost. One coffee was €5 which is very expensive even for Dublin. The bathroom was very dirty and the staff was not particularly polite.

14/01/2025: It's close to my house and some friends of mine and associates drink while waiting for all the people that take places in darts or pool but while you wait the points of Guinness are pulled with perfection or down the drain if it's not good enough for you they'll make sure that you get perfection and the beer and larger pulled are just crisp and fresh. If you want to eat in the lounge then you will be given the best food around and the service is second to none

08/07/2025: They were sending out coffees with bubbles on top! Not full to the top either. No proper foam on the cappuccino. So expensive for what you got

09/04/2025: €11 for 2 small drinks is outrageous, the drinks are horrible here aswell, the coffee is sour and too strong which the frappes taste gone off. The bathroom are a disgrace and the seats where dirty and uncomfortable

29/05/2025: I placed an order at 8:25pm and it was scheduled to be delivered at 9:30pm, more than 1 hour and yet the pizza was delayed another 26min to be delivered, that is, more than 1:30h for a pizza to be delivered.

11/05/2025: The new Lemon pearls drink pretty nice though. Not too sweet and I like it.

18/02/2025: Very bad service because when I order a cappuccino with oat milk in a medium glass, they give me half the glass with the product and the other half just foam, and when I complain, they just look at me badly

24/07/2025: Great hostel, nice facilities and great location. Only reason I’m not leaving a 5 star is the for the treatment by bar manager. The Argentinian bar manager shut down the Kareoke because I said to him he can’t run the bar and kareoke at the same time (the were understaffed). When the bartender came back he refused to run the kareoke as planned because he got butthurt by my feedback. Sorry his pride was hurt but he’s not a child he’s working there. Also his colleagues complained about him too so watch out for him!

24/07/2025: The hostel is not located in the city center, but it’s accessible within 10–15 minutes either by walking or taking the tram. That part was convenient enough. The bar food was okay, but the staff were completely indifferent—not friendly, not rude, just completely uninterested. The music in the common areas was so loud that it was impossible to get any personal tasks done or even have a quiet moment. Shared bathrooms and toilets were clean, which I appreciated. However, the en-suite bathroom in the room was poorly ventilated and honestly quite awful. From the hallway, there was already a damp, musty smell, and unfortunately, the same smell was in the room. I had booked three nights but ended up checking out after two because I just couldn’t stand it anymore. The staff at the front desk didn’t smile once. It was my first time in Dublin experiencing such robotic service. If it’s going to be that mechanical, they might as well just install a self check-in kiosk. The only good thing I can say is that there are a few decent cafés and supermarkets nearby. But overall, for the price I paid, I really don’t understand how this place has such high ratings.

29/07/2024: The worst dining experience I have ever had!!! I wouldn't give anywhere a bad review but this was shocking. Firstly me and my wife were greeted with as much as a grunt and a "Sit wherever we are empty anyway" attitude. We were sat at a table where menus were basically thrown at us. The layout of the menu is awful the mezze boards were written all over the place, when my wife tried to order the Syrian platter the owner repeated Beirut, she pointed at the Syrian on the menu and he repeated yes its the Beirut, which of course when it came it was not what we wanted on the platter at all, and at a price of €25 is too much to be wrong. We ordered the rest of our meal which was promptly rushed out of my wife as if he had better things to be doing. All the time we were there we were never asked for drinks so I had to ask as he had no interest, and on the menu it said it came with ice and lemon, but it arrived with neither. Our mains arrived and my Wifes tasted like the yoghurt sauce had turned, and there were no pomegrante seeds as stated on the menu. Mine was rock solid, molten hot (Microwaved) and contained plastic containers for sauce that you would expect from a take away. The meat and rice were so hard and inedible that as I write this I feel physically ill. I proceeded to try and ask could we get the bill and explain that the food had been inedible but to my surprise me and my wife were left completely alone in the restaurant with no one. I went into the kitchen and found someone and asked could we sort the bill and where our waiter was to be told he has left and we would have to wait until whenever hes back. This is outragious he left his customers completely alone in the restaurant and we were expected to stay than pay for attrocious inedible food. The poor kitchen porter was super apologetic and even looked afraid of what will happen when his boss arrives back. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

26/11/2024: Lovely to deal with , but holy jasus the food is disgusting, got a battered sausage and the thing was cremated was giving to the black bin , gotten it 3 or 4 time and won't be coming back 🤢🤢 burgers have stale buns dryer then the Sahara dessert . Over all bad grub .

16/07/2025: Food is garbage. I've been cooking Thai food for decades and this is about as far off you can be from any semblance of authenticity. It's essentially the McDonald's of Thai food.

09/07/2025: Eat here last night, allergic to dairy so checked with the server about the meal I was ordering, he checked with the manager + I was assured there was no dairy in a Chicken Thai Red Curry with egg fried rice, that they only use coconut milk. I was sick as a dog afterwards, and was going onto a music event in the 3 Arena so my night was totally ruined. More care should be taken with folk with food allergies, might add the food was lovely - just clearly contained dairy 😭.
