The best restaurants in Dublin

06/09/2025: Had a family breakfast at this place with 4 adults and one kid. Lovely place for family gatherings.

24/08/2025: Always good tasty food at Kays Kitchen no matter where you find one. Blackrock's one has great views from its upstairs location in the mall. Plenty of room, tables and seating. No real wait time for food. Give it a go if you haven't already.

07/09/2025: Centrally located. Only the parking situation is a bit complicated. There is an underground garage, but spaces are limited.

06/09/2025: We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Dublin. Less than 10 minutes walk to Book of Kells. The staff were amazing particularly Christina ( Restaurant) and Maria (Front Desk). Actually all the staff is are excellent. Food was great especially the soup. As seniors travelling for first time in a while, they were fantastic sorting out event and train tickets. We will come again just for the friendly professional staff.

19/10/2025: Truly awful experience today for lunch. We had been on many occasions before and were always wowed by the atmosphere food and service. A group of 6 of us arrived for lunch today and were seated next to a group of 50 people which appeared to be a christening. The noise was deafening, children running around screaming and staff were few, and very overwhelmed. The food was really poor, the accompanying salad with the prawn tempura lacked freshness, the steak was as tough as old boots with no marination, and the ice cream for dessert was similar to what you’d get at a children’s birthday party. I complained to management and they did discount the bill, a solid gesture but not what I was looking for! We were looking for a nice meal in a ‘small leading hotels of the world’ restaurant but it felt like a cross between McDonald’s and a roadside cafe. Management need to step up, this is APPALLING, and we will not be stepping in there ever again

04/10/2025: I was there the other night got a kaba and onion rings the minute I finished it i knew i wasn't right afterwards i spent the night in the loo and miss out on a day's work the next day so wouldn't recommend going there at all

28/09/2025: I really liked it, the service is top-notch. The guy who was handling the fries did everything perfectly; honestly, Donatella is running thanks to him. The food is tasty, but a bit pricey. I’m giving 5 stars for the Asian guy 👍🏻

06/10/2025: Always loved this place. Used to be renowned for very generous portions of chips. It seems to have changed owners/staff in last year. What's the issue? Its a potato. Got a snack I box. Tiny amount of chips compared to before. Lukewarm. Staff are fairly cheerless too. Total shame because standard of chicken and chips is usually intact.

23/09/2025: I entered the place to ask a question about one dish. They answered it while rolling their eyes; and when I said I would probably come back later to place the order, the eye roll was even stronger... It's hard to judge a place without tasting the food and in fairness the prices are competitive. As other reviews mentioned -- the staff attitude can be improved!

16/09/2025: Used to love the Sandwiches. Coffee is great. Have not been back since about 3 months ago they appeared to change the sandwiches. They didn't respond to an email regarding this. I'll try again sometime soon to see if they have gone back to the super sandwiches they used to have. Nope. No change. Not for me!

15/09/2025: They have a variety of foods, cakes, breads, desserts, etc. I love the atmosphere because it's very calm, there's no pressure, and you can enjoy beautiful views. The staff is very friendly and patient. I love going there for breakfast and different drinks ☕️

09/08/2025: A lovely cafe at Rathfarnham Castle. We sat at a table overlooking the beautiful grounds. The display of food looked so fresh and appetising and we enjoyed our choice immensely. Thank you to a charming young lady, (who seemed to be new and training) that looked after us very efficiently. Such a hidden gem. Will definitely return

07/08/2025: Nice pleasant café. Bright and airy. Pleasant staff. Mainly coffee and pastries. A selection of 3 pre made sandwiches. So not the place for lunch. Please provide a relish or pickle for the very plain sandwiches. That would really help. Especially at 9euro each. Some nice cushions would really be appreciated. Both the plastic chairs and wooden couch seats are very uncomfortable. Thanks

25/05/2025: a place where you can drink a nice coffee and feel comfortable. Clean and high quality. The staff is friendly and warm. If you want to get your coffee and start the day positively, this is the right place for you. Thank you

13/07/2025: Strictly Not recommended. We have ordered family mix meal for 26€ and when we get its made already and food isn’t fresh when we request to change chicken piece they said its the last one we have. We ask them to give us anything fresh in exchange they give us chicken strips and same no fresh made. It was look like made yesterday. Then we almost binned everything. We have chicken strips left and we requested again to change and then they gave the same one re-fry. It was a bad experience.

10/10/2025: Didn’t even explain about the food! The guy on the till explain the way sounds like dips are free but actually he charged for that! Not enough veg on the spice bag, chicken is very hard, and the potatoes are too dry and hard too. Over all taste is very poor.

27/09/2025: I'm a seasoned Taro drinker and this places Taro boba was really bad. The milk was watered down and very little Taro was used in the drink. Go somewhere else folks there are other lovely boba places in Dublin.

23/09/2025: The place was empty and spacious, they wouldn't allow me to bring in my mobility scooter.. avoid this dive..Disabled community are obviously not welcome so don't give them any of your money
