The best restaurants in Dublin

04/10/2025: Food quality is terrible. The kids goujons and chips are deep fried and very, very fried. The chips were a mixture of skinny chips and skin on chips? Felt like it was the ends. French toast was only ok, didn't come with maple syrup, just a drizzle on the plate, wasn't very filling at all for the price. I did like that the area was spacious where the round tables are (the other tables are cramped). Very few vegetarian/vegan menu options on the main menu (except plenty of starters which is odd?) and no vegetarian options on the kids menu. Highchair was filthy I had to clean it myself. Service was non-existant, we waited about 15 minutes to order and then had to go up to the counter to ask for the bill. Definitely won't be back, quite poor service and low quality food being the reason.

08/07/2025: My latte today tasted like a cheap 3-in-1 instant version. There was absolutely no foam. My friend's cappuccino was also like slop. The staff cleans the tables and floor when the customer sits down to drink coffee. Not when they leave. The tables are dirty. We were drinking coffee at a low table sitting in chairs and a guy with a broom came and started sweeping around us, even though the rest of the place was empty and in need of cleaning. To us it was like "Get out of this cafe!" I will never come to this place again. The foam was only for washing your hands, not in the coffee cups.

09/12/2025: This is a good emergency stop if you need somewhere dry to wait for a bus after 6pm, if you actually want coffee go somewhere else. Coffee was served cold, muffin was stale. Disappointing for price.

07/12/2025: I recently moved to the area and decided to try this Chinese takeaway tonight. When I arrived, I noticed they had combo meal deals displayed in the window (as shown in the photos). I went in and asked for Combo Meal 10, but the staff told me they had never heard of it and said they would check with the manager. When the manager came out of the kitchen, she told me, “Oh, that’s false advertising — we don’t do that meal deal.” I was honestly shocked, considering it was clearly advertised in their own window. I said that surely this shouldn’t be allowed, and she replied that there was nothing she could do about it. When I suggested they remove the sign, she said it was “how you get people in.” At that point I left, completely stunned. Our new neighbours had already mentioned the food wasn’t great, but I wanted to give the place a fair try. After this experience, I’m extremely disappointed and won’t be returning. I’d rather travel further for a proper Chinese than deal with misleading advertising like this.

10/12/2025: We enjoyed a delicious lunch at this cosy restaurant, with the hotpot being my favourite. The waitstaff were very welcoming.

13/12/2025: Embarrassing, staff not able to make a burger, order a Big Mac couple of times and got the bun and the meat. Definitely not recommended, if you can go to another a different location, so it.

11/12/2025: Ordered, waited for quite some time and then they just deleted my order number from the screen, as the machine gave me no ticket I went to them and asked if everything is ok with my order. Waited again, they just thrown a bag and two drinks and there you go. Checked the bag and was not even half of the order in, told them, waited again and kind of lost my patience, took the bag for the second time and left. Just got home and got 3 burger and two chips at the bottom then the bag full of tissues and some straws and at the top a chicken roll, basically no chicken nuggets and the two meals that I ordered were replaced with tissues! Too late and too far away bow to go back… Horrible service!

06/11/2025: Don’t leave reviews much. But had to for here. A staple of Crumlin Chippers. I use to order it when younger 20 years ago. The fact it’s still open says a lot. Anyway their taco chips are uniquely beautiful. They contain a little bit of small mushroom and carrot. They’re €8.20 and worth every penny. Huge portion. Feed two unless you’re ravenous.

10/10/2025: Didn’t even explain about the food! The guy on the till explain the way sounds like dips are free but actually he charged for that! Not enough veg on the spice bag, chicken is very hard, and the potatoes are too dry and hard too. Over all taste is very poor.

13/11/2025: When I was there, it wasn’t a take away yet. I’m not a vegan, but on that particular evening I ate a vegan pizza and it was very tasty. The place was cozy and the service was very friendly.

09/12/2025: I would say greeting is everything when in the food service industry. Unpleasantness will make or break a food industry. Food: The breading on the fish was soggy. The chips were not crispy at all. Everything was just edible not worth a 2nd visit. I’m sure you can find better else where. All the other reviews were extremely accurate regarding staff and the food.

16/11/2025: Very solid. My first time eating fish and chips . Tummy was filled
