The best restaurants in Dublin

07/09/2025: Came here with my dad, wanted to sit down in the EMPTY cafe. They guy said we can’t get one coffee and sit down and kicked us out. there was only table full of people every other table was empty.

16/05/2025: The server is really friendly and nice but the sushi was dry and the tuna was off, the rice was sticky and old. The miso soup was tasteless. Unfortunately if they do not improve their products, it's going to close because the sushi made me feel unwell. A couple of years ago the sushi here used to be very good. The prices do not justify the products.

28/09/2025: I stopped by this Burger King in the heart of the city, drawn by convenience — but my experience left me disappointed. The place is not well kept. Floors had crumbs and spills, tables were sticky, and the overall feel was grimey. Even more upsetting were the toilets: mouldy in places, poorly stocked, and clearly neglected. For a restaurant that sees high traffic every day, basic hygiene standards should not be optional. What compounds the issue is the lack of sufficient staff. The few employees I saw were working as fast as they could, but you could tell they were overstretched. Orders take longer than they should, trash isn’t cleared quickly, and things just build up. It’s almost as if they’re trying to run on minimal costs while expecting the store to look and feel first rate. Then there’s how things have shifted over time: more focus on upsells, surcharges, or menu tweaks that seem profit-driven, while quality suffers. Foods that used to be reliably decent are now inconsistently cooked; sometimes you get a meal that’s nearly acceptable, other times it’s clearly been rushed. What should be a solid, dependable fast food stop in a prime location feels more like a rundown afterthought. If management put more effort into staffing, cleaning, and maintaining quality, this Burger King could be much better.

17/08/2025: I sat by the window, enjoying the warm day, and ordered the mozzarella and rost tomato ciabatta, which was quite good! Relaxed atmosphere, a great pub!

13/09/2025: Ordered the spice bag and they were generous with their portions. The spring rolls were very big too. Got sweet chilli sauce and chilli oil to go with them and it was delicious!

05/09/2025: Girlfriend and I went and grabbed dinner. She ordered Chicken Fried rice. I ordered Chicken & Prawn Curry Rice. Her meal was decent. Mine was complete watered down crap, i couldn'teven get my container out of the bag without it pouring liquid out. I've never seen watered down curry before. Please take your business elsewhere. You'll be happier spending your hard earned money on decent food and not watered down crap. Food isn't worth one star

12/07/2025: not my first order from here. my partner orderd a chicken burger and was all good until I hear her gag and pull a hair from her mouth definitely was no our hair as it was way to long to be her and I have braids so no hair loss on my side chips could do with an update very hard on the outside and the garlic bread was swimming in grease. honestly if I didn't pay cash I would be looking for the refund button!

07/10/2025: An hour for delivery. I live 5 minutes away. Chicken burger was decent, garlic chips were rank. Went back a second time. The Irish lady on the grill took my order then twenty minutes later just yelled that the machine is broke. Only for the Indian guy on the grill offering me a substitute, I wouldn't have got my food at all. Clearly the staff only are nice to locals.

14/09/2025: Went in for lunch yesterday. We had to wait a bit to get a table, which was to be expected as it was quite busy. When we were finally seated, it took the waiters at least 15 minutes to take our orders. Our food arrived promptly after we ordered, however before our drinks had made it to the table. The tap water we had asked for and another drink we ordered was never brought out to us and no one stopped by the table to make sure everything was going okay. The food itself tasted good, although the portions were a little small for the price. When we wanted to pay it took us another 20 minutes to get someone’s attention to get the bill. I eventually had to just get up to ask the host for the bill not once but twice after waiting another almost 10 minutes after the first time asking. When the bill arrived, it included the drink item we had ordered but that was never brought out to us. After we made them aware that the item was included on the bill, they immediately removed it. Overall, the food was good, the ambiance was nice, but service was slow and lacking in urgency, while the staff remained friendly.

05/09/2025: The staff wasn't paying attention when we tried to order. Maybe because it was busy, but at 2 p.m. there were no sandwiches, no wraps, no quiche. Exactly what we wanted. Corona without lemon, with a glass. Fizzy lemonade came from a can. I expected fresh. With ice, even though we'd requested it without ice. A glass was brought, but never returned. The menu was missing the middle pages, so I thought certain items weren't available.

03/10/2025: My wife and I are locals and have been customers here before, but we had a terrible experience. She had just finished her wine while I was still drinking my beer, when an older man who seemed to be in charge came over and abruptly asked if we had finished. When I replied that if he wanted to seat someone else at our table he was welcome to, he aggressively told us there were “lots of people waiting” and effectively invited us to leave. This is no way to treat loyal, local customers. The attitude was rude and hostile, and it completely ruined the visit. Sadly, this is not the kind of atmosphere you expect or want from a neighbourhood pub. After this experience, I looked at other reviews and saw many similar complaints about rudeness and poor treatment. Unfortunately, it seems this behaviour is not unusual here. We will not be returning and cannot recommend it.

24/09/2025: Very nice pub. Old wood style with a fire out back. Large comfy couches in the front. A very friendly old git as a barman. A good trad session most Wednesdays 9:15 to 11.

14/09/2025: Great food, the spice bag was splendid, the peppers, onions, chips and shredded chicken with many spices go great together, it was €16.00 just for a rice and spice bag delivered to the house, was a bit too expensive but it is a lovely place to eat and would get delivery from there again.

30/08/2025: First time ordering in a long time and i was saddened to see my have received my order and EVERYTHING in the bag was soggy and clearly recooked the paper box for salt and chilli chips is not a good idea the underneath of the box fell through when i removed it from the brown delivery bag, sorry but never again wasted my money on slop

02/10/2025: The man who served me this morning was so rude. No hello,no please & no thank you! He very abruptly said "Your coffee's there!". Extremely unwelcoming & must not like his job. Coffee was lukewarm & the croissant was given on a wet plate. He also didn't bother to offer me the two free sweets for the two coffees that I ordered. I won't be returning. Hopefully this man can work on his customer service skills!

02/08/2025: Have been ordering from this takeaway for a while now. Their Punjabi samosas are the best I've had in Dublin, absolutely delicious and I just LOVE the spicy chickpea accompaniment 😋 I would like to try some other dishes as we usually go for Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken or Biryani. All bursting full of flavour and aroma. The chapati bread is always so fresh and delicious too. Really like Rasoi, Ranelagh 🌶
