23/03/2026: Horrible don't go there we all felt sick chicken full of oil tasted like cardboard we are all feeling sick

07/03/2026: One of my friends suggested this place and went there. We ordered half chicken meal and it only costs 12 Euros. The Food was delicious, we ordered chicken with rice. The rice and chicken everything was delicious and up to the mark.

13/01/2026: Normally a perfect Chinese. But tonight order was messed up and offered to keep the wrong delivery after overpaying and told it wasn't there fault all I wanted was my prawn toast hopefully you dont get the customer service I got tonight

12/03/2026: It was really rude and discriminatory toward Asians. I was simply resting my feet. I took off my high-heeled sandals and stood on the sandals with my heels so I could rest my feet for a moment. Suddenly, a woman and a man grabbed my arms and told me to leave. They did not listen to any explanation from me. My friends who were with me tried to talk to them, but after asking if they were with me, they told all of us to leave. I wanted to take my coat on the way out, but they said no and pushed me outside into the cold while I was only wearing a T-shirt without my coat. They also pushed me and did not even give me time to put my sandals on properly. This was extremely rude and felt like a violation of my rights. I was only resting my feet for a moment. Maybe they did not like it because I am Asian.

10/03/2026: Seeing that many people had issues with bouncers however we were a pair of girls do it was not an issue at all. Everyone visiting Dublin should at least try going here for a good time but I highly suggest pregaming. Drinks are very expensive and there’s a cover charge which is standard. Had a good time but I preferred Diceys. Personal choice!

15/11/2025: I have tried a few dishes here and each were worse than the other. Kebab - made with a frozen slice of meat, salads and dressings limited. Gried chicken - reheated, dry and tasted mostly of pepper. Smoked Cod tasted synthetic, fish was grey in places, overcooked and the smoking was dreadful. I couldnt eat it at all. Saving grace is the chips are ok. A really shame as the staff are lovely and the space is spotless.

27/11/2025: Went in on DCU college Christmas and there was only one employee working. He did an AMZAZIMG job not having anyone waiting too long but it’s horrible that one person would be expected to handle such a big crowd.

17/11/2025: I never write reviews but in this case I had to. I ordered a kebab and chillie fries at night, the next morning woke up with FOOD POISONING. I literally spent 20€ to get food poisoning, it’s the worst thing ever. They are never busy so I’m guessing they reuse old food and they aren’t hygienic at all

11/03/2026: Another McDonald's, huh... I'm sorry, but I have to say that the restrooms in these places can sometimes have a bit of an unpleasant smell.

16/12/2025: Staff very warm & welcoming. Restaurant Supervisor was smiling, friendly & attentive. Lovely decor and ambiance. Unfortunately, to our surprise, the food wasn’t very nice. Goats cheese & beet starter was served resembling a piece of pie. It didn’t appear to be freshly made and was somewhat dry. Fish & chips very poor quality. The cod was wafer thin, hard and basically a piece of batter. I’m almost sure the chips were cooked from frozen and not “homemade” prepared, as expected for the price. Beef was just ok but wasn’t finished due to the overly fatty content and off putting texture. Table bread and salmon starter was lovely and served fresh. We did not stay for dessert. The full amount paid was €120 for two persons, this included €10 tip for the service staff. In my opinion, it’s just not worth the money based on the overall quality of the meal served. Such a pity considering the performance we went to see was amazing. We could have eaten better elsewhere for 1/2 of the price. This was our first time to eat at this restaurant..

23/09/2025: Awful experience, they say to install their app for a free coffee. After buying the coffee they put me to pay as there was no voucher available in the freshly installed app. The staff told me that the promotion is over and in their liffet is saying clearly that on the 30.09.25 expires. I won't go to any nero cafe ever again

14/09/2025: On sunday you might see only a member of the staff and of course long q and slow service. Oh, ya, one more thing to mention, you' ll see lots of tables with cutlery, cups and other left overs by customers. A big let down in relation to clean.

08/11/2025: The food is very good. That too for students its very affordable. Unlimited buffet with actually good items. From starters to main course. I recommend everyone to at least once have food from here.

17/07/2025: Not gonna lie I don’t eventually want to write this review. We waited 50 minutes for them to bring me the wrong order, I ordered chicken roll with sweet chilli, corn and lettuce but they gave me bread and chicken, there was some kind of seasoning in the chicken and it was cold. Had to vomit in the bathroom for 15 minutes afterwards. For €20 each this is ridiculous!

14/07/2025: AVOID. AWFUL OVERPRICED FOOD AND TERRIBLE SERVICE . Ordered vegetarian breakfast burrito. It was cooked in same pan as bacon. When I queried this it was denied by staff member. Fortunately I could see food being cooked from my table only a few feet away. When I asked the staff member she blatantly denied meat and vegetarian food cooked in same pan. I had to walk her over to cooking area and point it out to her which seemed to leave her speechless. My son ordered Irish breakfast which was inedible. No apology from staff or manager. Very disappointing. When I asked for the bill the waitress asked me if I wanted the burrito taken off bill?! Shocked at how bad this was.

22/05/2025: Well, the sushi is great, so far the best I've had in Ireland

16/05/2025: The server is really friendly and nice but the sushi was dry and the tuna was off, the rice was sticky and old. The miso soup was tasteless. Unfortunately if they do not improve their products, it's going to close because the sushi made me feel unwell. A couple of years ago the sushi here used to be very good. The prices do not justify the products.

15/02/2026: Sadly, after having been happy customers of Spice Guru for almost 10 years, we have decided that we won't be ordering from them ever again. We have noticed a visible decay in quality in the last 4 orders delivered to us. Reviews of other customers seemed to back up our opinions. Tonight we decided to give it a last try but the food was the worst we ever got. We must have ordered Dal Tadka 50 times and it has never been so liquid, watered down, like it had not been fully cooked. Extremely disappointing. The cheese of the saag paneer tasted a bit acid and the vegetable pakora tasted stale.

06/12/2025: Been going here for 6 years. Always loved it. Tonight, 06/12/2025, changed that. Woman running the kitchen came out with my order when the young guy usually at the desk took a break. Had to negotiate to get what I had paid for. There was no mis-understanding because she had my receipt in her hand. Bizarre behavior.
