29/04/2025: Dear Four Star Pizza Phibsboro / Just Eat, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint and demand a full refund for an order I placed on 28/04/2025 via Just Eat, which was never delivered, despite being paid for in advance. Here are the details of what occurred: Communication Issues: My phone was not operational at the time of delivery, preventing me from receiving or making calls. However, I spent over 30 minutes outside, walking up and down, checking my window, and constantly reviewing the app, but there was no sign of the delivery. Confusion with the Delivery Driver: A white car arrived and stopped near my building, but it had no visible branding or indication that it was from Four Star Pizza. The driver remained inside the car, showing no intent to deliver or communicate. There was no attempt to contact me through other means, such as ringing my doorbell or emailing me. It was impossible to identify the car as the delivery vehicle. Order Status in the App: When I checked the Just Eat app, it showed that the order had been marked as delivered, which was clearly false. After failing to reach the restaurant due to my phone issues, I had to enlist help from a family member to contact Four Star Pizza Phibsboro. I eventually spoke with the manager of the restaurant. Unacceptable Customer Service: The treatment I received from the manager was completely unacceptable. Instead of attempting to resolve the issue, I was met with rudeness and aggression. I was yelled at, told my complaints would not be heard, and that I would not be refunded. Furthermore, I was told that if I wanted the same meal (already cold after waiting over an hour), I would have to pay an additional 3 euros for re-delivery. This behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I did not receive my order, and the customer service I encountered was appalling. Given that I did not receive my order and the service was entirely subpar, I am requesting a full refund of the amount I paid. This is the least that should be done after such a poor experience. I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter.

07/04/2025: Recently had a function here and couldn’t be more complimentary of the service provided, bar staff were firing on all cylinders and working hard to make sure everyone was having a good experience(even the owners got stuck in and helped when was getting busy)Food was great, pints where great..highly recommend if your looking for a few pints, but of food or a function in one of their areas. 06/04/2025: Pedí bebidas y comida para la familia de 3 y me senté allí durante 25 minutos ni siquiera un vaso de agua dado cuando se le preguntó cuál es el retraso en la entrega de la comida sin bebidas , los entrantes y la red se mezclaron. El salón estaba vacío, la comida entera se fue cuesta abajo incluso después de que esto no regresara. El tiempo en familia es un odio precioso. No tenemos un buen pub local limpio en el ongar.

19/04/2025: Another great insomnia shop. The team on duty were all great this afternoon. Some insomnia shops don't have any parking. This shop has plenty of parking and it's free. They also have ice in the water jug for the customers. Great job!

04/04/2025: It’s extremely calming for me tbh it’s small and it gives off one of those teen romance movie vibes where you can just sit and enjoy yourself Problem I have is the order isn’t similar at all to the pictures but that’s the only complaint about the drinks (the Food is fine) Services is well dependant on who but sometimes the woman at the front seems like she’s sick of customers coming and would rather spend her time chatting while I don’t mind that It’s kinda scary seeing the facial change from smiling to “Oh you.” But that’s just me Would totally recommend

10/04/2025: First time trying this place as new to the area and its absolutely delicious, full of flavour even the 2 year old is milling the food and its hard to get him to eat anything! Also 5 stars for that driver that delivered my food too, so chipper he actually cheered me right up with his greeting over the phone, I've had a bad day😅 then he wouldn't accept my tip because it was "too much" and insisted on not taking it, but I wouldn't take it back so he gave me an easter egg 🥹 legend

11/05/2025: I had the chicken biryani and the mixed kebab. The biryani was decent — about 7/10 — but the mixed kebab was fantastic, I’d give it 9/10. The staff were polite and welcoming, but the service on the floor could be a bit more organised and attentive.

15/04/2025: Very rubbish service . The staff are very rude. Ordered chicken donor kabab . They gave me mixed kabab. They said it's my fault .Behaviour was very bad .Food is very unhignic ... Eat your own responsibility . I will never come back again. Bad experience.

11/04/2025: In mu first time i went in there i was so shocked of how good they do their mixed shawarma wraps but when i went again i was so disappointed of how the tray and the sandwich was no suace or salad or bread in the tray just a little small box of shawarma i feel you can do better

14/04/2025: Great when the lads from Ballyfermot are there. Clearly the others are cutting massive corners when they are not. We won't mention the price but just got served microwaved left overs from the weekend. Awful, borderline inedible. Would give 1 star if the lads were not usually the best service and the freshest around. Really not fair though to serve that to regular customers. Really spoiled a special occasion. Thanks.

05/06/2024: It's very sad to see this place closing down. I came here a few times with my late nan and her family when I used to visit Dublin, and the food was delicious, both dinner and deserts. Best of luck in your new ventures, guys, and may the memories last forever.

18/04/2025: I’ve been a regular customer at Boojum Blanchardstown for over 4 years and have always had good experiences—until today. I visited the restaurant today at around 4:30 PM with a friend who is visiting Ireland for the first time and doesn’t speak English. I was translating for him and asked the staff about the types of meat, specifically if there were two different kinds of beef. The staff member serving us seemed visibly annoyed by the questions, which already made things a bit uncomfortable. What really disappointed me was that after we moved on to the add-ons section, I overheard the same staff member laughing and making jokes about me to his colleague. I chose not to react at the time because my friend didn’t notice, and I didn’t want to make him feel awkward on his first visit. I’m really not the type of person to leave complaints—I've only written one in the past few years—but this experience was genuinely upsetting. It felt disrespectful and unprofessional, especially towards a loyal customer. I hope the management takes this seriously.
