The best restaurants in Dublin

20/08/2025: Ordering online for collection was pretty handy & quick. Pizza was delish. Will return. Probably won't get a large for myself again as you need to be a right fatty for that.

26/07/2025: I was waiting for my order inside and watched how they were making pizza, a guy was topped up pizza with some vegetables, put a slice in his mouth, leaked his fingers and continued. Few drivers were talking and laughing loud in one corner like in medieval market or pub after 1am. Never back again.

29/08/2025: Drinks were overpriced and overly sweet. Food was mediocre at best but still was €20 a plate? One of us had fish and chips and the fish was bland, the batter rubbery, and the tartar was sulphuric. Staff was kind, if tired. Seats uncomfortable and music quite loud. If you want somewhere near a hotel, go to one of the pubs around the corner.

04/08/2025: You’re looking at the reviews and wondering why they aren’t consistent? Tonight would be an example. The group of five in front of us had their various drinks brought out, then their food in the time you would expect. They’d probably give five stars and rightfully so. However, our group of two waited way too long for each step, including 40 minutes between our two starters and our entree and salad. Yeah, we split a pasta entree and the salad, so it wasn’t overly complicated or overwhelming for them. In the end, roll the dice going here. You might get five star service or you might get something a lot less.

11/07/2025: If you're going to be rude to someone calling up and placing an order, at least check to make sure you hung up your phone properly. I don't appreciate being seriously insulted by the woman on the phone, when she thought she had hung up, because I didn't want to give my credit card details out over the phone and saying l'd call back tomorrow as I didn't have any raw cash on me. Lost a customer who's ordered from you for years.

15/08/2025: Wether you order in store, online or in drive thru, this restaurant will never fail to mess up your order, I have never once gotten my correct order from here, staff are very rude, even with a receipt to prove they got my order wrong they wouldn’t do anything, I will be finding out what other stores are in the franchise and will be avoiding at all costs and not wasting anymore of my money

04/08/2025: Worst experience ever! Think twice before going, your night can be ruined very easily The staff is very rude and aggressive. I had a very bad night there. The bouncers working that night were disrespectful, touching and speaking to me aggressively and inappropriately. Refusing to give me the possibility to show my ticket that I bought online without giving me any reasons and with the same ticket my friends got inside the club. So the explanation for this rudeness doesn’t exist or maybe is related to some kind of discrimination but of course i will never know because apparently it is not my right to know why I experienced all of this. Its your choice to still go and give it a shot but remember that I was alone with my tears and my frustration and no one helped me there. I want again to say thank to my friends that supported me. Be careful because this can happen again and maybe next time Is gonna happen to you or your friends.

08/07/2025: My latte today tasted like a cheap 3-in-1 instant version. There was absolutely no foam. My friend's cappuccino was also like slop. The staff cleans the tables and floor when the customer sits down to drink coffee. Not when they leave. The tables are dirty. We were drinking coffee at a low table sitting in chairs and a guy with a broom came and started sweeping around us, even though the rest of the place was empty and in need of cleaning. To us it was like "Get out of this cafe!" I will never come to this place again. The foam was only for washing your hands, not in the coffee cups.

29/07/2024: The worst dining experience I have ever had!!! I wouldn't give anywhere a bad review but this was shocking. Firstly me and my wife were greeted with as much as a grunt and a "Sit wherever we are empty anyway" attitude. We were sat at a table where menus were basically thrown at us. The layout of the menu is awful the mezze boards were written all over the place, when my wife tried to order the Syrian platter the owner repeated Beirut, she pointed at the Syrian on the menu and he repeated yes its the Beirut, which of course when it came it was not what we wanted on the platter at all, and at a price of €25 is too much to be wrong. We ordered the rest of our meal which was promptly rushed out of my wife as if he had better things to be doing. All the time we were there we were never asked for drinks so I had to ask as he had no interest, and on the menu it said it came with ice and lemon, but it arrived with neither. Our mains arrived and my Wifes tasted like the yoghurt sauce had turned, and there were no pomegrante seeds as stated on the menu. Mine was rock solid, molten hot (Microwaved) and contained plastic containers for sauce that you would expect from a take away. The meat and rice were so hard and inedible that as I write this I feel physically ill. I proceeded to try and ask could we get the bill and explain that the food had been inedible but to my surprise me and my wife were left completely alone in the restaurant with no one. I went into the kitchen and found someone and asked could we sort the bill and where our waiter was to be told he has left and we would have to wait until whenever hes back. This is outragious he left his customers completely alone in the restaurant and we were expected to stay than pay for attrocious inedible food. The poor kitchen porter was super apologetic and even looked afraid of what will happen when his boss arrives back. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

07/08/2025: A friend recommended this place and now it’s one of our go-to takeaways! The black bean beef with green peppers was full of flavor, and the spice bag — with crispy fries, chicken strips, and wings — is just perfect. Their bubble tea is also great, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Orders arrive hot and on time. Highly recommended!

05/08/2025: famous is definitely one of my favourite places to eat at in lucan!! i think the portion sizes are perfect and i’m always full after eating from them. had a thai fried rice last night and it’s probably one of my favourite things on the menu… maybe second to a megabox. it’s a little bit spicy for me personally, but the overall taste surely makes up for it.

24/07/2025: Bought the spice bag for delivery which came slowish I then had a spice bag with curry on top despite not being given an option to put it on the side. It also gave me veg despite saying no veg. Had half the spice bag because it was just pure filth wouldn't even feed me dog with it, went on with my night had some cereal then later. Woke up at 5 am absolutely dying feelin sick and start getting sick in the toilet thinking it's that cereal but no. Not one bit of the cereal to be seen it is pure Spice bag, the spicebag was so greasy and bubbly scuttery I ate more food and it digested before the spice bag. Do not order your spice bag from here anyways. Horrible night.

09/02/2025: One large room basically, unfriendly staff. No atmosphere. Would not return.
