11/05/2026: Great food but the “security” guard was beyond ignorant could swear he thought he was security for the White House not a burger shop would never go back purely on the fact of his attitude which is also a huge let down for the staff behind the counter as they were beyond lovely and helpful

04/05/2026: What the heck is happening? A security dude deciding who gets in to have food while it’s empty inside? Jokers.. Edit: Seriously, please get rid of this guy, he kept on insulting everyone in the inside, especially females. Behaviour simply unacceptable and I can provide more videos on request.

28/04/2026: First time getting take away from here. It was dreadful got House Special Fried Rice, Chicken Fried Rice and Salt and Chilli ribs starter. The Rice dishes had no flavour very bland. The House Special Fried Rice had the tinest bit of chicken, prawn and peas no beef, pork or other veg. The Salt and Chilli ribs were good but it was a extremely small portion. Very disappointing won't be back!

15/02/2026: I don’t know what to say other than disappointing. The prices are crazy for what you get given the quality is no better than a typical Chinese takeaway. The spring rolls were strange to say the least. Wasn’t able to tell how fresh the veg in them were. The garlic and black bean fillet beef was nice but no way was it fillet beef. The chilli beef was good too but very deep fried to the point you couldn’t taste beef and just deep fried batter. The worst thing we got at our table was the salt and chilli chicken, it was absolutely disgusting. And for nearly 30 euro - it was daylight robbery. The chicken itself didn’t look like chicken and it was drowning in oil. For the same price, I could have dined at a top restaurant in the city centre. Overall, really disappointing.

23/04/2026: Service in the Ballyboden/RathfarnhamPizza Hut has been declining steadily for many years. Yesterday when I dropped in there was one person working there. Yes, 1 person taking orders, answering the phone, taking payments, making pizzas, cooking and boxing food. Really the place should have been closed up from a health and safety point of view but you guys wouldn't pass up a days profits of course. Therein lies the problem, cutting corners to increase profits and the customer then is the victim. I may return once more, but if it's not a drastic improvement on yesterdays 30 minutes for a pizza then I will be gone for good.

20/12/2025: Pretty sure I got food poisoning from this place last night. Delightful.

19/04/2026: Ordered a margherita pizza and when I got home the pizza was actually completely different than what ordered. I called them and for my surprise, they said I had to go back to the shop to have a refund. That’s completely unfair given that it wasn’t my mistake. Shame on you 4 star pizza

21/03/2026: How are you I just placed order for 5 people and I just got a spice box with a curry sauce and there was literally 4 pieces of chicken and the rest chips I’m really disappointed since I order from here all the time

23/10/2025: It's a Starbucks in a food court in a shopping centre. I can't fault the drinks or food selection. There are usually seats free, unless it's a particularly busy time, but that's to be expected anywhere. The staff are LOVELY, friendly, polite and efficient. I dropped my coffee on my last visit, a venti mocha all over the floor. They were so kind after I'd made such an awful mess. Honestly, their graciousness and patience was heartwarming.

02/03/2026: Used to drop in there now and again over the years and it was ok. Then a few years ago it was being run by I'm not sure who but it was a trendy sort of bar and was very pleasant. The latest incarnation is however a slide down the scale from pleasant to ugggh. Visited the other day around 4pm. The table we sat at was not clean - sticky beer stains all over it; Its not like the place was so busy basic table management was not possible. I counted 11 other customers in the place Sat on a low stool (thankfully) and fell off leaving me on the floor - turns out the seat was not attached to the base - I mean seriously ‽ There are better places in the area to spend your money so don't waste it here.

15/05/2026: I ordered extra apache dynamite sauce... and somehow got zero sauce. This has happened several times with different orders, I'll order rainbow cookies and get chocolate cookies. I'll order mixed cookies and get only chocolate. One time I ordered no chicken on the pizza, and they removed the pepperoni?? The wedges are somehow always soggy and cold. I am fed up ordering from this store and will be telling others to not order from this store again. Don't know why I believed for so long.

25/04/2026: Wish I could give this place zero stars! Ordered delivery from the Hilton and they either gave the order to the wrong person or most likely never delivered. After speaking with the store, they stated it was out for delivery even though the app said delivered. All things considered, I smell a scam!!!!! Avoid this place at all costs. It has terrible reviews for a reason.

09/05/2026: *Portions reduced *Macros questionable Received our order and noticed only 6 small/medium pieces of chicken and the rest was full of vegetables in both portions. I called thinking this was a genuine error but I was advised they now weigh their Chicken. That leads me to question the marcos displayed that's advertised to suit healthy option/ gym enthusiasts as they are the same as previous size portions. I advised I order weekly and I wouldnt be ordering again if that's going to be the case but they just finished the call with nothing more to add other than its now weighed. Although the quality is good the quantity doesn't reflect the price. Customers should be advised of this new menu concept and their macros updated as unfair for people counting protein/kcals.

31/05/2026: We came here this afternoon for coffee. On the positive side the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the coffee was really good and served with a smile. However the men's washroom was awful. It was dirty and grimy. The floor looked like it hadn't been washed for weeks! It was such a let down because the actual café itself is very pleasant. I would hesitate to return.

17/07/2025: Not gonna lie I don’t eventually want to write this review. We waited 50 minutes for them to bring me the wrong order, I ordered chicken roll with sweet chilli, corn and lettuce but they gave me bread and chicken, there was some kind of seasoning in the chicken and it was cold. Had to vomit in the bathroom for 15 minutes afterwards. For €20 each this is ridiculous!

14/07/2025: AVOID. AWFUL OVERPRICED FOOD AND TERRIBLE SERVICE . Ordered vegetarian breakfast burrito. It was cooked in same pan as bacon. When I queried this it was denied by staff member. Fortunately I could see food being cooked from my table only a few feet away. When I asked the staff member she blatantly denied meat and vegetarian food cooked in same pan. I had to walk her over to cooking area and point it out to her which seemed to leave her speechless. My son ordered Irish breakfast which was inedible. No apology from staff or manager. Very disappointing. When I asked for the bill the waitress asked me if I wanted the burrito taken off bill?! Shocked at how bad this was.

15/09/2025: They have a variety of foods, cakes, breads, desserts, etc. I love the atmosphere because it's very calm, there's no pressure, and you can enjoy beautiful views. The staff is very friendly and patient. I love going there for breakfast and different drinks ☕️

09/08/2025: A lovely cafe at Rathfarnham Castle. We sat at a table overlooking the beautiful grounds. The display of food looked so fresh and appetising and we enjoyed our choice immensely. Thank you to a charming young lady, (who seemed to be new and training) that looked after us very efficiently. Such a hidden gem. Will definitely return
