The best restaurants in Dublin

21/03/2025: Took 1 hour and 40 minutes for the food to get here. I get it's Friday night but if it's going to take longer than the estimated time of 45-50 minutes, ring me and let me know, transparency and communication is key in this industry. We rang them endlessly with no answer as they took the phone off the hook. Eventually the food got here when I finally got through to the service desk and all she gave us was a meager 15% off our next order even though our food was barely warm and took double the estimated time. Absolutely despicable and completely let down from somewhere that we order from frequently and is usually super consistent. I don't reccomend Lin Kee on a weekend as they're "too busy". Thanks for the abysmal meal, really let down the party we had!

19/02/2025: Ok so this place is a joke soggy chips bacon you can choke on and barley and taco mince oh and cold. What a waste of money had to spit out the stringy cramp cooked bacon or I would of choked . They really are down the grade on food now and a very disappointing meal not the first time I can't actually stand this place and the food oh and also many times had stomach cramps after food and felt unwell

20/12/2024: My son was due a refund for food they could not deliver, he called them daily and got nowhere with them, eventually my wife had to personally visit the chipper to get his money back two weeks later. The manager kept talking over her and was extremely rude and obnoxious. Nasty crowd in this chipper, avoid avoid avoid!

29/12/2024: La comida fría de sabor horrible que se sirve cuando se le pide pan fresco no se ha servido en absoluto. Peor servicio al cliente. Después de 30 minutos le pregunté cuándo tendré comida fresca, el chico en el mostrador dijo que tomará algún tiempo que decida pagar la cuenta y se fue "dulce y especia" sin tener mi desayuno apropiado. Creo que "dulce y especia" necesita contratar personal que tenga habilidades para tratar con los clientes.

15/12/2024: Seasonal drinks are expensive for the type of inexperience service that you pay. Staff needs major improvement on making drinks as well as distinguishing different type of milks.. ordered a cafe drink with normal full fat milk but barista confidently said to me that skimmed milk is the same as normal fat milk.. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

14/12/2024: I was here today and the place was so dirty, the table tops were sticky with so much dirt, disgusting! Too many staff not doing nothing and very little effort to please the clients! The floors are also very very dirty! I guess standards are not a priority here for sure! Very disappointed, not coming back.

22/01/2025: I found this shop made you pay much much more double the price for good's than any other shop near by!!! Very bad crowd/customer's shop here one person asked me for money in the shop i will never shop there again!

09/03/2025: I don't want to winge like all the other Irish...but it has recently been changed somehow. Different staff. The guy seemed reluctant to take orders so left there for 15 minutes despite we being the only ones at the counter. I think it's to try force customers to use the screen menu near the enterance - which unlike McDonalds - was very confusing. All I wanted was a simple Whopper meal. Think you can find that most popular one on the menu ?.. have a try ! All I could see were words like " value "...I mean ! .. what the hell ?.. Oh and the bg music they use now awfull. I mean it's REALLY awfull !

06/03/2025: Brought my two children and my partner here the other day I should have just gone a couple doors down to McDonald's. I ordered from the kiosk machine, a burger for me and my partner and a meal for both of my kids. I chose the table service option and brought a table number to my table. After about 15 minutes of waiting. I could hear the young man calling a number from the main counter to be collected. I thought this couldn't be us as we are getting table service yet the place is empty so maybe it is me I walked up to the counter to find out that it was our food. I said the young man I thought it was table service to which he barely replied oh sorry. When I returned to the table my partner pointed out that there was no straws no napkins and no sauces that was supposed to come with the kids meals, and the kids drinks were wrong also. I returned to the counter to point this out. When I got to the counter I could clearly hear the two young guys cursing, and speaking in a manner that was absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant with kids in it. I pointed out that he had got the drinks wrong to which he said we don't have any of those drinks. To which I replied maybe the machine should tell us that when we're paying for them. I returned to my table thinking the confusion was over. And I opened up my burger (the big bang) to find the cheese Patty was over cooked - over deep fried and which made it hard and chewy. It wasn't this point I decided I will never be back to this waste of space again. Also one more thing to point out the young staff are so lazy in this place that half of the seats are closed to the public and the lights turned off so they don't have to clean them at the end of the day. In the 50% of the shop that was still available to sit down only half of the areas had the lights turned on. And half of those tables were dirty with food still on.. So there was literally people sitting in dark corners eating food. It is Burger King at the end of the day and I don't have high hopes for a fast food place like this. But I would at least think that the staff that their hiring can read a piece of paper and put the correct things on the tray, I could teach a monkey to do that. Don't waste your time our money

08/03/2025: Nice gentleman on till. Took my order and processed payment before taking ingredients for pizza. 🤣 he was genuinely very nice but the food left a lot to be desired. Calzone was undercooked and the chips were nothing to write home about. Go to Mizzonis if they’re open. The tenders were fine, too dry and crispy. Very average.

18/02/2025: Very bad service because when I order a cappuccino with oat milk in a medium glass, they give me half the glass with the product and the other half just foam, and when I complain, they just look at me badly

29/12/2024: The service is good but the place smells disgusting! Homeless people are harassing customers that are dining in so you can’t really stay inside and enjoy your coffee. The management should do something with security as even the staff are being disrespected by the stinky guys loitering in the cafe. I felt unsafe throughout my short stay on this place.
