27/09/2025: Filling station, deli counter & Burger King. I stopped in here today for a quick bite. The place is filthy. The tea & coffee stations, general food areas, areas where people eat their food & dont get me started on the toilets!!!!! I don't know who the manager/area manager of this place is, but you need to get your finger out and get this place scrubbed, before someone gets poisoned.

18/08/2025: Good shop but the deli closes at 2:30 in the afternoon which is very early.

25/04/2026: Great place for dumplings. Avoid the buffet and ask the lovely staff about the dumplings. They're handmade and super tasty! The lamb and carrot filled dumplings were especially delicious. I recommend the lamb and carrot dumplings.

11/04/2026: Usually avoid 1 star reviews but I'm annoyed with my experience, ordered online at 18:30 was giving a collection time of 18:45 arrived to collect on time and waited while many orders came and went eventually severed at 19:11 I'm sorry but that's an unacceptable time. (3 people order not something excessive)

15/12/2025: Breakfast is cheap not worth the money 17 euro . This is what you get, One Tomato burned and no taste left that on the plate small beans cheap ones again no taste. Some tiny roast potatoes what ever you call them. And toast extra for tea . Ripp off its a pity people don't review more on rip off places in this country name and shame them..if he asked me at the till.how was my breakfast I'll ask him to read this.

12/12/2025: Location is nice next to food court in Liffey Valley mall. It is quite spacious place. I ordered prawns taco. They were average. Instead of fries I asked for side salad. Salad was average but they served ketchup with this.(Maybe they forgot that fries were replaced by salad). Anyhow prawns were crispy and yum.

17/05/2026: It's clear the staff at this place have zero passion or interest in what they do. I ordered something and it was missing the main sandwich and no straws to drink the soda. When I called them for help, all they did was apologize and pass the whole problem on to Deliveroo. Now we don't know how this will be resolved. No sandwich and no cola. A disgusting lunch experience. This is ridiculous.

22/03/2026: Avoid this Chinese at all costs!!! Wish I could give this lower than 1 star. Used to order from here about a year ago and loved the shredded chicken, ordered again for the first time since and the chicken is completely different to before. It was disgusting, stringy, purple????and completely raw - it went straight in the bin it was inedible, I genuinely don’t know how they can serve food like that. Afterwards I came and looked at the other reviews because I actually thought I had made a mistake and ordered from the wrong restaurant by accident but unfortunately not, it just seems to be a common thing that they don’t cook their chicken for any of their customers now 🤷‍♀️

21/01/2026: Have been ordering food form here on and off for 3 years.. today all I can say was its was dirt.. the photo attached is meant to be salt and chillies chips.. but yet its the dregs of the chip pan.. the curry sauce you could build a wall with its that thick. . And as portion of chicken balls is 10.. so how is a half portion 4....

26/05/2026: Definitely not worth ordering food from waste of money and delivery took 40mins

05/05/2026: I ordered here for the first time and the food was delivered quick which was good, but the food itself was not very pleasant. I got a 4in1 with shredded chicken, 2 chicken balls,1 spring roll with a can of coke zero. The curry sauce had no flavour other than salt, the batter on the shredded chicken was the same, the spring roll was good and the chicken balls were crispy and tender but very bland but overall decent! The best part of this meal was that the wrong drink (diet coke) they had provided me was washing the salt burn off my tongue! I'm not sure if I'd order here again.

11/04/2026: I ordered a curry and a garlic naan bread. When I got home it no garlic bread I rang immediately to inform them. I asked for it to be delivered. But he said his drivers where busy. I said I don't mind waiting. He said he couldn't that I need to go back to collect. I said there is a €5 fine for wrong order if I go back to collect. And he said he wouldn't pay this.... Am I wrong? Or what do you think I should do.?

09/04/2026: We ordered 2 packets of Chicken Tikka Biryani yesterday from this place. The order was placed around 10 pm so it was mentioned on the app that someone from the staff would deliver it, the food was delivered unusually quite early than we thought. Now, instead of Chicken Tikka Biryani, we received Vegetable Pulao with Peas and some pieces of chicken which were very dry in taste. Instead of salan, got mix vegetable curry. Further when we enquired back to the person who delivered the food, he denied being the staff first and then said Chicken Tikka Biryani is prepared this way only and he saw it being prepared in the kitchen. The side mint raita was also given as a single portion instead of two. Highly dissatisfied and never going to order from here again.

17/08/2025: If you want a tasteless, dry burger, sauce should be optional! and bad fries for €21, go for it.

13/08/2025: Enjoyed the braised short ribs. I also got to try the Guinness bread(recommend).

10/05/2026: I'll start with the positives, extra piece of chicken in snack box, driver was a gent, Followed note Chips tasted like where cooked last week, Chicken was nice but skin was soggy.. I'll take my tune ordering again Used to be lovely

17/04/2026: I get food here regularly - always the same thing, chicken burger & chips. Large portions of homemade chips and quality chicken burger. Lady behind the counter chats if it’s not busy but there’s always a crowd. I’m just about to go up now 👍

29/12/2025: When you arrive at Vela restaurant, the welcome is friendly and they have great menus.

01/12/2025: Vela is now Sheela's Palace. The place has a lot of potential and can accommodate large groups and big gatherings. The place also has plenty of parking, so that shouldn’t be an issue. The food was tasty, with plenty of dishes, especially from Malabar. The price was reasonable too. You get both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options for about 22 euros per person, drinks not included. The atmosphere was good, but the cleanliness, lighting and temperature need attention. The lighting was dim, the space was quite cold and a few of the dishes were cold as well. Overall it isn’t a bad option, and the experience could be much better if the points above are addressed.
