The best restaurants in Dublin

09/04/2026: I had high expectations for Macari in Inchicore, especially since the place itself has a nice ambiance and looks like a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a meal. The seating area is decent, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant enough for a casual visit. Unfortunately, the food did not match the setting at all. The pizza was very disappointing. It arrived cold and did not seem properly cooked. The base felt underdone, and the overall texture just wasn’t right. The taste was also quite off, and the cheese in particular had an odd flavor that I didn’t enjoy. I had ordered a chicken pizza, but the chicken toppings didn’t seem properly cooked either, which made the experience worse. I also ordered chicken wings, hoping they would be better, but they were equally underwhelming. The flavor was lacking, and they didn’t taste fresh. For a place that looks inviting and comfortable, the food quality really needs improvement. It’s frustrating when the ambiance is good but the main reason for visiting, the food, falls short. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the pizza or wings here unless there are noticeable improvements in quality and consistency.

15/02/2026: We ordered from here and food was lovely. I had the vegetarian pizza and my partner has the Donner tray and chips. Both decent meals for the price. Service was good and delivery was quick.

21/07/2026: Solid 4/5. Very nice curry sauce. Nice to have bamboo shoots and water chestnuts in the satay tofu. Good chips.

01/06/2026: This is now the best Chinese takeaway in Dublin 12 and may include all surrounding areas. The food is excellent cooked by great chefs. Curry sauce is amazing and all other dishes are so good. It’s the freshest food to expect when going there to order.

30/06/2026: When we walked in there was a guy possibly cupping coffee so I thought oh great this is gonna be a good coffee. But unfortunately I was so wrong. Service was slow, staff had zero interest. Coffee was weak and poured so badly. The girl at the til did my coconut flat white but she didn't look trained at all. The guy on the machine seemed a little better but still the latte was awful. Cakes where very dry. Maybe there's a better atmosphere at night here but it's not a place I would recommend for coffee at all.

13/03/2026: Good food choice but not dog friendly! Try "The Edge" it's not too far away, has Good food, lovely atmosphere and is dog friendly.

25/07/2026: Got some pudding. When we got home we noticed that it expired a month ago.

15/07/2026: Just went to order a diner from these on justeat.. over 9 euro for the single kebab and now they have a small order fee a service charge an delivery taking a 9 euro order to 16 euro..absolute chancers do not order from here

14/06/2026: Food was awful chicken in the baguette was black and like rubber no veg other than 3 prices of onion bread tasted stale. The taco chips had no taco sauce and a long black hair. The kabab meat was stale and like rubber and had very little sauce The food was picked up after 15 minutes but took over an hour to get a 10 mins cycle. 45 euro gone in the bin. Never again

16/07/2026: Staff was extremely rude... I don't understand why she had to sweep and mop the floor while I was sitting there. She even forced me to lift my feet cus she thought I was blocking her way. Also she tried to take my coffee away cus she thought I've finished it. She should be replaced. Go to another cafe, this Starbucks is the worst for sure

16/07/2026: Found the souvenirs I was looking for. I was able to look over the cups for any damage or defects before purchasing.

06/07/2026: No Toilets open in a McDonald's today while the Trainee Manager tucks into his Big Mac

30/05/2026: I visited this McDonald's store during my lunch recently and I was left with my mouth open, a blonde employee named tahani not only served me ( after 30 minutes of waiting) cold fries but also a standard coke when I had ordered a coke zero I'm diabetic I tasted it from the first sip and I realized she almost sent me to the hospital if I had gone to the hospital I would have sued, instead of doing her job she was speaking very loudly and annoyingly with a person who I recalled it's her sister, she had a very mean face and a very filthy mouth and honestly this gives to the store uglyness , I believe this very young veryy rude little girl should get fired

27/06/2026: This is a first for me, as I never leave bad reviews but unfortunately my stay in your hotel was a bad experience. There were a few sour points with the stay , I booked a Deluxe double for a concert Tuesday & stayed in room115. 1. Bathroom was kitted out for a mobility spec which thankfully I don't need yet in life or did I book 2. On arrival no remote for TV in room so strolled down to reception & received replacement, my partner lets me know still no good as TV won't switch on.i realise no power going to TV, walk down to reception again who obviously knew the first time I went downstairs (hence no remote)that the TV is broken & told they will try fix tomorrow. 3. My biggest issue was the shower,it was great weather Tuesday thankfully & my partner goes in for shower but the water is cold so I go in to double check incase missed a switch or something somewhere. Again I've to go down to reception & asked if problem with the hot water in hotel. She starts telling me I'm not using shower head correctly as have to shake shower head to run hot water, then I asked if maybe there is a switch on the wall that I may have missed or something which she dismissed. I asked could somebody in maintenance have a look at the shower as it was just 3.30pm but was rudely dismissed & told nobody available until tomorrow.

13/06/2026: Where do I even begin? I was warned that it was a cheap hotel, but I didn’t expect it to be this bad. Relaxing was impossible, and the overall experience was far from comfortable. I understand that you often get what you pay for, but even at a budget price, I expected a basic level of comfort and peace.

06/06/2026: Food was served on time, so no issue there. But the taco chips are very disappointing! Bland beyond belief, and nowhere near that price-tag. Would do well to learn how to do a proper taco chips first, I think. It was like having some boiled beef on chips - very disappointing from what's supposed to be a proper chippy. Chicken fillet burger was sloppy. Chicken was tasty and big, but found the burger very damp altogether. Just not the best. Wasn't the worst I've had, but you expect better from a place like this.

25/07/2026: Got a mixed kebab...wasnt very good...chicken like over done tikka from tesco and doner not much taste..it was absolutely covered in sauce like tonnes of it...I had my suspicions when the guy serving me was also the chef

09/07/2026: The beef was undercooked and lacked flavor. The samosas were over-fried, and it tasted like they were cooked in old, overused oil. Overall, the food quality was disappointing.

21/03/2026: I've been living in dublin for four years, i've eaten a dozen times to ferrari. For the first time, an employee, old and small threatened me and refused to serve food to me and my friends because we're french. The entire staff looked speechless when it happened. He looked drunk. I respect their work but i'm never going to come back. Shame on you.
