11/08/2024: I would not go back!! The service was horrendous and the food disgusting and the price of the food was ridiculous!! We do not understand how this place is still opened. Take my advice,safe your money and never eat out of here

21/06/2025: Review: Visited on 21st June 2025 I had a very disappointing experience at this shop. I came in to order 15 large muffins for my son’s birthday at school on Monday. I asked if I could place the order for Saturday, but I was told that this was not possible, which I understood. So I then asked if I could pay for the muffins right now and have them held until the following day, Sunday, for pick‑up. The staff member checked with a supervisor, and I was told “no” to this request as well. I politely asked to speak with the supervisor myself, but she didn’t come out to acknowledge or discuss the request. This was very frustrating and felt like very poor customer service, especially for an order that was important to my son’s birthday.

19/06/2025: Mannings in Blanch was once a really nice shop, staff were once very friendly and cakes were really good. Sad to see that it's not what it used to be, over priced, very little filling in cream cakes and disinterested staff...

12/02/2025: I absolutely love this little café! Their coffee is fantastic—smooth, rich, and perfectly made every time. The food is also delicious, freshly prepared with care, and well worth the wait. The staff are always friendly, making you feel right at home. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with great coffee, tasty food, and genuine hospitality, this is the place to go. I can’t wait to come back!

17/10/2024: Went in this morning, got a dirty look for walking in on wet floor as one of the ladies working there was cleaning the floors without a wet floor sign, asked for 2 skinny flat whites and half way through making the coffees I was told they had no low fat milk. It clearly should have been said before she proceeded making them. Never seen staff being so rude and unwelcoming. Will definitely not come back

07/07/2025: Closed down temporarily for been absolutely filthy by the health board, faeces also found on walls by the men in white coats, it did always look very dirty when collecting previously

21/12/2024: These pizzas are absolutely amazing. It really is in my top 3 in Dublin. The other night I also ordered their chicken panini. OH MY GOD.!

18/12/2024: I've just had a smoked cod and chips from Green Italia in Rathmines, I must say the chips were fresh and cooked perfectly, the smoked cod, which was really large was cooked perfectly as well,staff were very friendly and talkative, which is always a good thing, a nice touch with the free garlic sauce, there was one downside which was the six very large bones that I pulled from the cod at different intervals, smoked cod has been a staple offering in Dublins many Italian takeaways for the last fifty years and more, I have never had bones before in a chipshop takeaway, cod needs to be filleted very well due to some very large and sharp bones within, it might be an idea to have a word with whoever is doing the filleting for you, as I said earlier, the fish and chips were perfect, but, when you have to watch every mouthful you take,it does take away from an otherwise really good experience 😋noticed that the owner doesn't answer reviews, never a good sign ,will think carefully about going there again, it's never good when you don't listen to your customers,think about it, your customers are what keeps you in business,!!!

27/06/2025: Rude security guard harassed my girlfriend to get. a group of girls into her bathroom stall quicker. Considering reporting to garda, unacceptable behaviour and place AVOID (26.06, around 0:25)

05/05/2025: It used to be a lovely place with amazing atmosphere but not anymore. It changed name and probably management. - the food was handled by staff with bare hands without any gloves - I got only half of my order and than I pointed out that didn’t get some food I ordered they did not apologise and brought me a sandwich I didn’t order. Only half way through I realised that’s actually not what I ordered and it is also more expensive than the one I ordered. - once we were sat at the table there was still an empty water jug and one glass (from previous guests? Idk) when we did ask for some water we were brought two beer glasses while we were 3 people - after leaving, turned out I got a stain on my trousers… was not even surprised to be honest… but that was a last straw that led to this review. - food was ok, coffee - not the best. - very limited milk alternatives - no oat milk for example Will not be back. Would not recommend.

10/06/2025: The Hot(ish) food looked ok until you got it to the table. Cold chicken wings that had obviously cooked ages ago and the same for the chips. Very disappointed to the point of leaving my doodon the bin after bringing the cashiers attention to it. I am off to cafe SOL.

06/03/2025: Was at the Beacon Hospital for the day to support my partner and went in search of food. Delighted to find this café had a couple of vegan food options, especially compared to Naas General Hospital where we'd been recently that had nothing. Falafel wrap and vegan Gyoza poké bowl were great options. Plant milk for drinks too.

26/04/2025: very good food, really enjoyed it beef curry is fab and salt and chili chips is great as well. Loved it definitely would go again.

28/03/2025: I am a long time customer of golden grain and I have to say it’s lovely every single time. The curry sauce is the best I’ve had and the egg fried rice is just beautiful and lovely flavor of sesame oil. This is my go to place on the weekends. Recently I placed an order and had an item missing but the staff were very kind and sorted the situation immediately and professionally. Particularly the lady who dropped off the food and who I believe works out front aswell was very nice and apologetic. Thanks you all so much and looking forward to another takeaway soon ❤️

21/05/2025: I had a nice meal here last Monday, the staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions. The food was tasty and I didn't have to wait long. I had a lovely chat with one staff member named Adam, he was very engaging. I'll be back again for lunch.

18/05/2025: Great food and reasonable prices. Sweet and sour chicken and the side orders like the Spice or Munchies Boxes are great. Lovely people too who own and run it, so very friendly.
