11/01/2026: Went here for a sub, asked for lettuce, tomato, red onion and chipotle and they only had onion. My partner asked for a sub with just bacon on it and they put 3 strips of small bacon on it and then they said they would have to charge extra for more (first time I ever seen this) Staff were rude and argumentative especially considering their slogan is ‘eat fresh’ yet they have no salads… we told them we didn’t want the subs and left. Went to airside subway instead and we got a completely different experience. Won’t return to this location ever again.

16/11/2025: Staff are unbelievably rude. Witnessed a staff member dealing the person behind me in the queue and she was so unprofessional. The woman asked for a sandwich and she said could she have it toasted, the woman behind the till said “yeah well you have to show me which one you want like” she couldn’t have said it any cheekier if she tried. The woman behind me was a bit upset after the interaction and I was disgusted. It takes absolutely nothing to be nice to someone, especially when it’s this time of the year.

24/01/2026: Very poor experience. We were given a voucher as a gift to use at this restaurant. We arrived to the Gibson at 7.45 for our reservation at that time - got seated etc. We got our menus and waited for someone to come back to take our order or even drinks order. We had to get someone’s attention (at this stage it was after 8pm). She came back to us and asked us if we wanted “the good news or the bad news”. She told us the bad news was the kitchen is now closed (??) so we can’t order but she can bring us to the bar and we can use our voucher there. I told her i thought this was absolutely outrageous because someone just sat us down and never told us about having to order before 8, nor did anyone try to get our order in before the deadline, and she said she agreed with me but that she wasn’t the person who greeted us at the start. Food in the bar was fine. We eventually got our first drink at 8.30 - 45 mins after we arrived. When the bill came they knew nothing about our gift voucher which we handed to the initial lady, and they had to go searching around for her and the voucher. We couldn’t help but laugh at how poorly this night had gone. If you’re getting dinner in the area before a concert, would recommend Ruby’s, the Mayson or Cill Airne over this establishment.

11/01/2026: Poorly prepared steak and hygiene issues. Ordered a medium-rare steak and received it medium-well, clearly overcooked on a dirty grill with burnt residue. Replacement arrived 15 minutes later and was still wrong, medium to medium-well, while the other person's food was getting cold so she had to eat alone. For the price, the quality is not acceptable. You can get better steak elsewhere in town, even for less. Chips were cold, and the vinegar bottle was dirty with a fly inside. Yes, a fly inside. Disgusting. What i received here i can make at home on any frying pan. When we arrived, the tables were messy and we were seated anyway. During our entire stay, staff continued setting up around us, constantly moving tables, chairs, and walking by. For a restaurant at this price level, everything should be ready before guests arrive. The constant movement made the experience uncomfortable and not relaxing at all. I took a few weeks to write this review to make sure I wasn't doing it out of anger, but the food was so disgusting that I can't help but feel that way again.

09/11/2025: Hi recently brought a fudge brownie and I bite into it and to my surprised I bite into a nail. The shop assistant was very accommodating. She replaced the brownie and gave another from a new batch and gave two But she didn’t throw out the old batch which is why I’m writing this review and when I spoke about it , the concern was about other people hearing. She did apologise and said the cake comes out another store. And said they would investigate. I ended up throwing out the two brownies because I was scared to eat them and kinda feel sick thinking about it. Thinking about it has me so disgusted about It. It honestly has turned me off buying from them again. I wish I took a picture but just was so shocked

26/09/2025: I have been a regular costumer in mannings blanchardstown but my experience today was very disappointed I bought 1slice of lemon cake and 3 slice of red velvet but the new young girl staff give me 2 and 3/4 slice of red velvet and 1 slice of lemon cake and I told the staff to change the 3/4 slice of red velvet cake but instead of changing the 3/4 slice of cake she change the perfect slice one. Hoping next time that they will make the costumer very satisfied she is not friendly as well. I paid for the full price amount but not satisfied for the cake that I received.

24/03/2026: Got awful food poisoning for this place. Avoid at all costs!!! I got chicken tenders and one of them was like a piece of leather, probably left out for hours. This place is filthy and should probably be shut down

31/01/2026: Just got my order this is disgusting the lettuce looks rotting, I never asked for onion my order was lettuce tomato olives and jalapeños, one chicken best and the other one Rotisserie-Style chicken, absolutely discrete he just put 1 type of chicken threw some onion in and that's that look at this nonsense, the health and safety department should have a look at this UPDATE: STAFF WAS REALLY NICE AND TOOK IMMEDIATE ACTION

20/07/2025: Absolutely filthy. 2 staff on just sitting aeound woth tables covered in crumbs. Only one toilet and it was very untidy. Tissue on floor and obviously hadnt been cleaned in a while. Was not busy so no excuse

10/08/2025: Hi how’s it going my son was in at ur pub today roughly at about 11:30 he was told no straight away by the bouncer lorcan he has had problem there before where he was told to come back in a month or 2 he left it for 3 to 4 months and rang up to confirm he was allowed back he apologised multiple times and was let in last week tonight he asked to speak to manager or head bouncer about why the bouncers wore saying no he then spoke to mark in oriordans and explained everything he then went back around to try speak to them he told them he was let in last week with no problem they then assaulted him and grabbed him by back of his head and twisted his hands he said I can walk by myself please and they continued

02/11/2025: Got two grilled chicken kebabs they were nice but I ordered grilled chicken and it was reheated chicken in the kebab . Overall flavour was very good but you could tell the chicken was reheated and not freshly grilled which is a bit condensing of the name of the restaurant. If it the chicken was freshly grilled easily would be the best kebab around this area

07/09/2025: Dont order off their website!! We ordered for delivery, and an hour later went to check if it had been sent out, only to be told that their website often glitches and dumps the order, now we've no food en route an hour later, and have to wait 48hours for a refund. They couldn"t even take our order over the phone to rectify it although they freely admitted that it was their tech that caused the problem! (And frequently does so but only solution is to order again) I havent ordered in a while but the food certainly used to be good, although reading recent reviews fills me with doubt on that still being the case! Sort out the website lads!!

19/07/2025: Visited Wingman in Clontarf recently and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The burgers were just ok didn’t resemble the photos they post on Instagram. Looked and tasted pretty average, like something you’d throw together at home in a hurry. The loaded truffle fries were completely inedible. Soggy, oddly textured, and absolutely drowned in an overpowering artificial truffle flavor. Couldn’t even finish them. We also tried the chicken wings, which were dry, overcooked, and barely had any sauce on them. For a place called “Wingman”, I expected way better especially when wings are supposed to be a highlight. That said, the staff were friendly and welcoming no complaints there. For the €57 we spent between two people, we expected something far more enjoyable. Overall, it felt overpriced for the quality we got. Safe to say we won’t be rushing back.

28/11/2025: If I could leave 0 stars I would absolutely horrendous customer service. Came in asking for a dip after ordering a bag of chips next door they told me go back where you came from. Appalling customer service don’t accept card either. Don’t put any money into this business AVOID!

06/02/2026: Food is great if it ever comes! The last few months has really gone downhill- it now takes minimum an hour to arrive. The two times I’ve tried to phone up, once because my order took 2 and a half hours to arrive, and the second because I received the wrong order I was basically just told pfft not my problem you need to sort it out yourself. Would not recommend unless they sort out their delivery situation

26/01/2026: If I had known prior that crab legs weren't, you know, actual crab legs, but rather a lovecraftian abomination. Baby crab craws stuffed into a battered imitation fish ball, it was horrifying see video attached. I immediately had to throw those, and looked forward to tuck into the rest. To save a lengthy review. Sweet sour sauce- like syrup. Chicken chow mean anemic. Rice, alright but pork been cooked cooked at different time to rice. But the worst thing was; I ate a chicken ball to recover from the crab legs, and the batter.. it was fried in same oil as the crab legs. So all I could imagine while eating was little emaciated crabclaws sticking out of a ball of flesh. The taste after four forkfuls of the remaining ballast, left a lasting foul taste in my mouth, and I actually had to chuck away all of it, and rinse my mouth out twice with listerine. Im considering court action due to the PTSD I suffer since I ordered an hour ago

07/09/2025: The initial professional welcome by the chap on duty was my highlight, thereafter it was interesting as this dinky and oh so trendy eaterie beyond the ladies 'leisure shoes' section positively leaked customers. No 'Front of House' staff stationed at the entrance, with, it seems, only two staff seemed manning the fort, a third on barista duty. We watched bemused as ignored and impatient ladies walked away while the priority seemed to be to clear tables. Ok, to the food: elegantly presented maple bacon croissant for me and a chorizo hash were tasty brunch items with decent herbal teas and coffees. Two poached eggs with each were cooked perfectly and the croissant was good for the 'mopping-up'. There's a good buzz in and around this place so maybe BTs has finally got a good café formula. Tweaks will come and the hard-working staff will hopefully get some leadership..

01/08/2025: Kinda Terrible... Order: Chorizo Hash (€17.50), Chicken Wrap (€15.50), 2 × Americano (€8.40). Total: €41.40. for a below average brunch. The chorizo hash was mishandled twice. First plate arrived with hard-cooked eggs; when I queried it, the response was awkward with the waiter, another staff member rescued the situation from afar. The second plate swung the other way: the egg whites were undercooked and runny, you know like snotty egg white (gag) and the dish was over-sauced and oily. The chicken wrap and coffees were fine, and the room is pleasant, but at these prices I expect consistency and properly poached eggs. Service was willing; execution wasn’t. Bottom line: disappointing overall — we won’t be back. I'd suggest, don't waste your time / money here.
