07/05/2025: We love stopping by The Loft in Dundrum—it’s become our go-to spot before or after a bit of shopping. We’ve been a few times now, and the food and service are consistently great. Everything is always fresh, tasty, and reliably good. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a cozy, dependable place to eat in the area!

14/03/2025: I went upstairs for the first time in nearly one year grabbing food downstairs, because I wanted to have a different experience. I was quite happy with the service provided on the ground floor. Although the menu at Loft was not very inviting I felt like having something simple just to get to know the place and I am never coming back again. The staff who saw me first, instead of waving they would sit me soon, kept doing what they were doing with a very grumpy face. Then once I was seated the same person left me waiting and never came back to get my order, it was when a second waiter came that they took my order. They brought me the food and didn’t say anything and turned their back without giving me the chance to order something else. Only the third person was really nice and smiled a lot and took good care of my extra request. I wonder if the owner or the manager understands that a customer service is key. Because it’s not the overpriced chips that will bring me back to this place.

02/04/2025: Have ordered for years as the food is lovely. Went in this evening to order, and while literally just clarifying a small detail in my order - the staff member was extremely rude, no manners whatsoever and sighed at me like it was an inconvenience for her. I get deliveries from here often and the delivery drivers are lovely and have more manners than this staff member. Really off putting as I’ve only ever had lovely food from here but the customer service today was awful.

24/03/2025: 0/1000000000000 Worst customer experience I have ever encountered in my 46 years on this planet. My daughter accidentally ordered on line and chose the incorrect County. Human error eh. Rang immediately and was told the food was cooked and nothing could be done to rectify the mistake. They really need to take a long hard look at their customer service. Mandatory1 star has to be ticked in order to post. This is the only reason one star is attached to my review. Just to add I rang within 60 secs of the order been placed. There was no way the order was in progress within 60 seconds. The Oriental Express Kilmacthomas in Waterford via Oriental Express Dun Laoghaire... Easy mistake for a teenager to make.

19/02/2025: Avoid Only One Nana at all costs! The food and service were abysmal. The Egusi was an over-salted disaster—completely inedible. The chicken? Spoiled and unfresh. When I politely shared my concerns, the owner didn’t just dismiss me—he was outright rude, condescending, and combative. Instead of taking feedback, he arrogantly claimed the issue was with my taste buds. If you enjoy being served bad food with a side of hostility, this is the place for you. Otherwise, steer clear. Spare your tastebuds and your money

30/01/2025: I dont think its Nigerian restaurant .I think its better to allow culture base to make its own cuisine. Pounded yam was made different and i wont say your food is not good, its not just a taste that suit me. I will prefer authentic Nigeria food . Your meat are not enrich with season. The meats are not small but tiny which is not acceptable. Understand that there are tourist who goes around tasting food. Good luck

Dijimos que no queríamos tener menú pre-teatro ya que estábamos apretados por el tiempo, así que pedimos filetes del menú a la carta. Esperamos 20 minutos para una bebida, y recordamos al personal de espera dos veces para la orden de bebidas. Mientras tanto, parecía haber un problema con nosotros pidiendo filetes, ya que abiertamente, los gerentes nos estaban señalando como caminando. Parece que pensaron que estábamos reservados bajo un paquete de estancia, pero este no fue el caso. Finalmente, después de hacernos sentir bastante incómodos con el señalamiento y hablar sobre nosotros, se acercaron a nosotros y confirmamos que no estábamos reservados bajo ningún paquete. Después de 40 minutos llegaron nuestros filetes, salsa equivocada en el mío, y honestamente los peores filetes que he visto. Sólo podía comer la mitad. 29/03/2025: Overall quite bad experience in this place, mostly because slow and messy service. Food was good and tasty. We went for lunch and, in line with other comments I read here in Maps reviews later, even if there were less than four tables busy, our food took very long time (simple egg fried rice and noodles with veg wok dishes, that other places get ready in 10 mins). After finishing our starter and waiting a while (it was by then around 3pm and we were very hungry), we asked and only then they realized our food had to be cooked. Even then, as our food was delivered plate by plate, when we finally had most of our food, one of the orders was missing as well as a side order or egg fried rice. We waited another 15 mins or so and then once again, one of the waitress asked if all was OK, but after we explained the fact one of the mains was missing, she just wanted to take details of the missing food and order it all over. By them most had eaten and the person with the missing dish just had a light lunch taking a little bit from each of the others, so we just paid and left. Note: if you order juices or sparkling water, you won't get a bottle but actually a glass of the drink, served behind the counter.

05/05/2025: Ridiculous, you pay for food and have to sit listening to teenagers mouthing away at the next table who aren’t even customers. The security guard “Francis” was more interested in sitting with them flirting with the very young girls and being pals than asking them to leave or at least be quiet. One lad was squeaking a dog toy from the time I sat down with my kids until I asked him if he planned on carrying on the whole time. They then left and start banging on the windows which “Francis” stood with them watching. Joke of a place.
