09/05/2025: Why have opening hours if you close 20 minutes before hand?

06/04/2025: Food was absolutely disgusting and over priced. The beef in my house special fried was like shoe leather and the pawns were none existence. The Satay sause was also disgusting and it was very expensive. Can I please recommend people to not order the food from this place.

08/08/2025: Ordered for collection and was really disappointed. The order was wrong from the start, and two paid for side items were completely missing and had to be remade leaving the whole order cold. It’s unacceptable. People spend their hard earned money here and deserve much better. With the amount of bad reviews this place already has, you’d think they’d be trying harder to improve. It’s genuinely shocking how careless the service was. They should be ashamed and do better. The staff just stood around talking to eachother with no care or preparation for the food. Of any of the dominos I have tried in Dublin this has been the worst.

22/10/2024: The worst Italian meal I’ve ever had in my life! We received our meals 5 minutes apart from one another. The aubergine parmigiana was likely microwaved as it was still cold with just a melted cheese top. The pasta sauce was like a watered down chicken stock and the pizza was worse than a freezer version. With so many nice options in the area such as olivetto, belli dentro and dolce italia, I can’t understand how they’re still open!

05/10/2024: We happened to be in the area a Friday night to our surprised we managed to get a table for 4, the place was empty. Kids ordered carbonara and it tasted like no other carbonara we ever tasted before, no flavored whatsoever and was so dull kids wouldn't even touch it. My husband ordered a sausage ragu pasta and was chewie I was the only that kinda enjoyed my meal, I had the Tiger prawn risotto. The starters were so overpriced for what we got it was ridiculous to see the size of the brushetta. After all the disaster waiter came and took plates without even asking how was the food, maybe she is used to collecting full plates .... as no one will enjoy their food. If you are looking to over spend on crappy food this is your place but if you are like me ...enjoy good Italian food don't go there.

26/05/2025: This is a good take away. The complaints about service simply don’t understand the Chinese culture. They are efficient, friendly f you know how to work with them. Food is good and value is good. And fast for collection. I don’t know about delivery.

14/06/2025: I typically come here after going to Perpetua! It’s good but not great! I usually get an espresso, which is decent. And I have tried their açaí bowls and some protein shakes. Its just very convenient to have this after class, just over price for what you get

18/05/2025: Without a doubt the worst late bar in Dublin. Only do cans and bottle. No draught which I find hysterical. The staff are rude. They are the so rude and short, terrible service I would never go there again and I’m actually so annoyed about this I have told my friends how terrible it is.

06/07/2025: Stay away to order from this take away.!!!!we got rubbish..all food was rubbish. We sent the food and drink back becouse fanta and coke was not real was fake and the food we couldn't touch. My husband after drinked a can of coke got sick instantly. We was asking for refund but they didn't want to give back the money.they said that will give another portions of food but we didn't want that anymore. So ,everything was disgusting and we will never order again.

15/08/2025: Ordered food, got the wrong food so sent it back, then only after two hours i got the right food sent to me. Disgraceful, do not order from here unless u want to die or starvation and reading from other reviews, food poisoning?

09/08/2025: No stars should be shut down! Food poisoning in a container. Steer clear this is the worst food I have tasted the chicken was pinkish and slimey and to be honest I cant even confirm if it’s chicken. The curry sauce was like gelatine absolutely Disgusting and when I called no offer of refund just a “sorry about that” AVOID at all cost!

14/09/2025: Today was my first time visiting this coffee shop. The place looks nice, but I was really disappointed with the service. The young with glasses blonde barista was very rude and had an unfriendly attitude. I ordered an iced matcha, but it was a waste of money and honestly ruined my day.

14/09/2025: Myself and my Mum are here Visiting from the UK, we were a little reluctant to go as we saw the horrible reviews about the staff but decided to go anyways as it was the only place open early on a Sunday. The atmosphere of the store was warm and cozy, heating as it was quite cold and quiet background music, up to Nero standard, the coffees were amazing and we had the choice of the milder coffee which we took! The scone could also be heated for my mum! The young blonde barista was very welcoming and had nice smile on her face, very patient with us as we were deciding what to have, we returned the patience as she was a trainee. Her coworker (glasses and blonde) seemed to be very patient and friendly also, helping the trainee with if she needed and also offered to help an elderly couple with their tray as they couldn't carry it. We sat in for a while and was very nice, we did enjoy it and when I asked for takeaway cups as we needed to go, they had no problem with putting them in takeaway cups for us, would definitely come back if we came back to visit😊

13/08/2025: Stepping into KCR is like walking into your great grandas attic, if his attic was cash-only and smelled like stale pint and regret. This pub’s so stuck in the past, I half expected to be served by a bartender in a powdered wig. Spoiler: the only thing powder in here is the dust on the furniture—and maybe the clientele, who seem to have been regulars since the invention of the pint glass. First off, cash only? In 2025? I didn’t realize I needed to raid my piggy bank or swap a live chicken to get a lukewarm guinness. The sign might as well read, “No card, no service, no hope.” New customers are treated like aliens who crash-landed in their sacred land of the old time. The bartender—singular, because apparently one person is enough to “run” this place—will stare straight through you like you’re a ghost while chatting with their 70-year old VIPS. I usually wait five minutes to order, which felt like five years, especially since the bartender vanished for a “quick” 20-minute smoke break and place is empty. I’m pretty sure they were out back inventing time travel to keep this place stuck in 1972. And the flies— They’re not just visitors; they’re practically on the payroll, buzzing around like they own the kip. I’m pretty sure one of them tried to sell me a timeshare. It’s a shame, because this pub’s got a prime location that could be a goldmine if they dragged it into this century. Instead, it’s a shrine to the “coffin dodger” customers , who are clearly the only ones keeping this place afloat. I get it. loyalty’s sweet. but when the average customer age is eligible for a pigeon letter from st patrick himself, you might want to consider welcoming the under-80 crowd. At this rate, its got 5-10 years before it’s just a ghost town with a “For Sale” sign and a resident swarm of flies. Fix the furniture, embrace the 21st century with a card reader, and maybe invest in a flyswatter. Until then, I’ll be drinking somewhere that doesn’t feel like it’s auditioning for a haunted house gig. Cheers to hoping this review gets more traction than their customer service!

03/06/2025: This is definitely a pub for an older generation, who were having a great sing along with a mediocre performer. Staff were pleasant. My biggest issue is that it was a cash bar

26/08/2025: Got a chicken kebab a batter burger and a batter sausage and it was horrible chicken smells and tastes old the sausage was hard and battered burger was just awful used to have very nice food don't know what happened 😔

18/07/2025: Went in tonight for a Smoked Cod and Chips..loud musicians loud woman behind the counter who is not customer friendly. Fish was rotten... Stay away .
