31/08/2026: Had food here the weekend, 2 kebab meals and an extra drink to take away. This was after we had been out for some beers, only notice my change the next day. 35 euro i was charged, Way over charged! Obviously pulled a fast one because I was a bit drunk, 15 euro change....only I paid cash id have gone back in the next day!

18/08/2026: This place is an absolute scam, by far the worst strip club you can ever go to. They harassed us the second we walked in. when we went up for a lap dance they didn't even dance they took our money and wouldn't shut up about the private room. When we said no to the private room because we already paid for a lap dance and thats all we wanted they kicked us out. If i could give zero stars i would.

18/07/2026: 20€ entrance fee just to buy horrible drinks and being approached by girls trying their hardest to make you pay hundreds of Euro's for private shows. Stay away

24/08/2026: The worst Chinese in Ireland for food and service , they sent us out pure black and mush chicken balls , we had rang to let them know they told us they’ll come back with money and they’ll take them back , after one hour we rang back and wondered what happened and they blocked our number , we decided to drive up to the place at 12am at night and they had nothing but excuses and horrible treatment towards us , then told us never to come back after throwing money at us , would not recommend this place to stray dogs and cats never mind people, stay well clear

21/06/2026: Refused to deliver my just eat order and rang me to charge me extra if I wanted them to give me my food. As they refused to deliver e the food i had paid for. I had to contact just eat who unformed me that the take away had to cancel the order and for me to contact them. The girl on the phone was nice but the owner was very rude and it was like taking to a wall. She just kept saying she was not going to cancel it and that I needed to do it in app. Which would of charged me the full price in cancellation fees. The helpfully just eat customer service finally was able to help and got me my refund. I have eat here before not worth the hassle and we won't be back.

22/09/2026: 35 cent for a disposable wooden spoon… just greedy isn’t it? Meanwhile they’re completely free and accessible along with other cutlery at the restaurant right across on campus.

20/06/2026: College cafe - it was busy when we dropped in, great place for a coffee & sat outside & watched the world go by....

18/08/2026: Get subway a good bit around ireland with work, this one is in bottom 3 if not the worst. Wish I read the reviews before going in

04/08/2026: Cheap but gross. little tiny wrap and the wrap is raw… and they just heated up, so it’s hot but not toasted. They poured a load of mayo in it. It was so gross oh my god. Most off putting meal of my life I’d rather eat ANYWHERE ELSE. It’s like eating play dough. It’s not food. I hate subway 🤮

02/06/2026: Ingredients were not fresh at all. Could see the lettuce had started browning, rice was hard at points and the refried beans must have been refried in 2008

03/09/2026: Dump, makes her prices up as she goes along an i dont mean you get undercharged overcharged every time 30euro order came to 70 euro because my girlfriend collected it and waited over 1.5 hours one night for my food and it never came called back the next day and she said sorry can give mr a free can of drink next time I order

09/04/2026: The lunch time workers here are so clearly miserable it is insane. Feel like I am constantly walking on thin ice around them (especially the manager) it is consistently bad to the point where i dread interacting with them. The guys working on weekends and during dinner time are chill though. Emphasis on the great weekend workers!

14/03/2026: **UPDATE: They've now graciously allowed water along with dinner (which should have been the standard from the start..) Keep writing the truth in the reviews because the staff and RUDE manager Camila do read them :-)*** Where do I start. 1. Food quality: Get yourself an air fryer instead, the food quality and quantity is NOT worth it, TRUST ME, I've been here 2 shitty years - they'll either close early, sell out their food to other people that are NON-residents ie. they do NOT care that you've prepaid, trust. 2. Legality: They used to have seconds, it was in the Roebuck Castle terms and conditions, but they decided to change that even though fine print on the UCD website before said otherwise. One semester it's soups or dessert will be included with meals, and water definitely included for dinner, and the next semester no soups and no water :) Don't waste your money 3. RUDE MANAGER making service DELIBERATELY DIFFICULT by being so, unnecessarily, passive aggressive and so incredibly PETTY, towards students trying to order their lunch. Basic service training is ASKING PEOPLE WHAT THEY WOULD LIKE ON THEIR SANDWICH and not EXPECTING THEM to know what ingredients YOU have in stock and then being unduly exasperated at them when they try to tell you their order. Why are you in this line of service face-to-face with people if you clearly think we're all idiots? What kind of power trip do you have losing your mind over asking for an extra spoonful of sauce? 4. The weekend people here are the best. Shoutout Jogesh! I hope they get paid extra because they legitimately carry this place; they are nice, polite, thorough, patient. Best customer service I've ever had at Roebuck was with the weekend boys that work here now.
