The best restaurants in Dublin

30/03/2025: I would give zero stars. Waited 1.5h for delivery on a Sunday. Food was disappointing. We spent over €50 and it was a total waste. It used to be a decent place, but has gone down hill. There are a lot of places around with great quality food. Stay away from this one!!!!

24/02/2025: Osaka Sushi and Ramen is a takeaway gem! Fresh sushi, rich ramen broths, spice box and generous portions. The spicy tuna roll and savory ramen are must-trys! Friendly staff, quick turnaround, and great value. Plus, their delivery is always on time! Highly recommended!

13/03/2026: The most terrible experience over there. The staff it’s horrible , I ordered for some waffle fries with bacon and cheese and they gave something that looks like voma . Idk how they are still open . Horrible . Never again

08/03/2026: The worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Mongolia beef tasted like Mexican seasoning, noodles were in a rotten pale sauce, chicken balls were soggy, rice was awful and they forgot the curry sauce I ordered. Can’t understand how this place is still in business

25/01/2026: Great Chinese, order for delivery every few weeks and they are reliable and have lovely food. Nice staff on phone and nice drivers!

29/08/2025: We ordered off of just eat, very over priced and ths food did not match up to the descriptions given. Tenders were cold and soggy with little to no seasoning, told we would recieve crinkle cut fries but instead recieved oven chips i could have made myself for €1.50 Was very suspicious when i called the fast food restaraunt i was informed that i was talking to someone who was working in eddie rockets which leads me to believe this place is most likely a 'dark kitchen' probably using leftovers. Save your money and dont buy this absolute muck.

02/03/2026: My son ordered with cash delivery around 4pm today, and the driver didn't have enough change. He was short 5 euros after the tip, and he said he'd come back. My son just forgot about that. At 9:50pm the driver returned with money. Please say thank you to him. What an honest person. Amazing 👏

23/01/2026: Ordered online and never received my order. When I called them after waiting 2 hours twice they told me they already delivered it. Midway while explaining that I have not received my order they then hung up on me (Network issue? Or just hung up I dont know). I'll have to request a refund via customer support. EDIT: I have received my refund. Customer Support was very helpful at resolving the issue.

17/01/2026: Tyrelstown Pizza Hut-Avoid! Shocker of a place. Completely disorganised and mismanaged. Order a pizza online, for collection, go in twenty minutes later and you are made stand around another 25 minutes while they start making it! Girl making pizza also comes to the counter to get the orders and handle money! Delivery drivers hang around inside helping the staff by handling food and throwing it into the baskets to cook! Dominoes around the corner opened and will probably drive this place out before the FSA do.

25/10/2025: Not restaurant the takeaway,waited an hour and half for my food to b delivered got told the citywest riots wher to blame for the delay,the takeaway isn't even near citywest and neither is my house,food cold no apology nothing Won't b ordering from there AGAIN

23/10/2025: This place use to be the best Chinese! We got this as a family on Sunday, 3 big shrimps in a Peking chicken dish and the kung pao beef smell was unbearable.

08/02/2026: I have being ordering food from good fortune for 15 years and last night our order was absolutely dreadful, greasy slop. When I rang to complain they refused to offer me anything by way of compensation. This is my first complaint but they were no help. I will never order food from here again , food was dreadful and service dreadful

31/01/2026: Food has gone to the dogs, not a bit of flavour. So much oil, and the satay sauce tasted like a cup of dirty oil and left overs

29/03/2026: Ordered a margarita pizza with cheese and black pepper. Not only did they use whole jar of pepper on the pizza, they added chilli spice, which wasn't asked for, and made it completely inedible for the kids (who were very disappointed) that were meant to have some of it and even some of the adults. Won't be running to order from here again 😒 Photos shown was one of the better slices

24/02/2026: Please Please please do NOT order from this place they are a disgrace so ignorant and the food is disgusting so mean wit the sause on the pizza there serving bread with cheese on it and calling it a pizza, no hair nets on staff outside smoking and straight back into the kitchen without washing if you don't want to be robbed of your money do not order from this place please.

28/07/2025: €17 for burger meal in Dundrum.Looked good.No real taste off meat ,bun,kettuce or tomato.No nice sauce included? Burger was black on both sides and mot cooked in the middle.Im sure how they can justify the price?Certainly wasnt Gourmet quality.

30/05/2025: The fun began with their self-serve machine, which decided twice that it simply could not be bothered. I stood there like a chimp with an iPad, repeatedly stabbing the frozen screen while a queue formed behind me, full of people wondering whether they too would live long enough to place an order. Eventually, after what felt like a lifetime, the order limped through the system. Fifteen minutes later my number was finally called, but not before they managed to turn what should have been a simple handover into a full-blown drinks disaster. My Coke was launched across the counter like a low-budget stunt scene, showering three innocent customers. Unsurprisingly, this did not go down well. And then the burger arrived. Technically, it was a double patty burger. In reality, it was a cheap, greasy, structural catastrophe. The patties themselves looked exhausted — thin, grey, oily, and completely devoid of any real flavour. The cheese had melted into limp flaps, drooping sadly over the sides like melted plastic. And as if to ensure the whole thing was completely impossible to eat, they had crammed in a ridiculous slab of lettuce the size of a small parasol. It stuck out like the sails of a boat, making any attempt to pick it up result in an immediate collapse of the entire construction. This was not one of those indulgent, guilty pleasure burgers you rave about to your friends. It was a cheap, greasy mess you finish only because you feel too ashamed to throw it away. Gourmet Burger Kitchen needs to sort its technology, train its staff not to spill drinks on customers, and — most importantly — go back to sourcing proper burger meat. Because at the moment, it is a very long way from gourmet.

29/09/2025: The breakfast is good, but the lunch menu is terrible and the same thing every day: pasta, pizza, sandwiches. They look good, but the taste is hard to describe... Why can't there be a proper restaurant on campus? Is it difficult to offer different dishes every day or a semi-buffet restaurant?

05/09/2025: The food is very bad! The problem with Gather&Gather is that we make beautifully looking food, but unfortunately it tastes bad. Also, why don't we have normal food menus like all the other universities? TCD has different lunch menus everyday with at least four options including chicken curry, grilled beef, fish and chips...lots of options and true lunch food!
