01/07/2025: Avoid at all costs. First, the place looks run down. It looks like it never got renovation since it first opened. Badly needs maintenance. Service was ok. Ah old lady but couldn't wait to swipe my card. I hadn't ordered 3 minutes and it was ready. The portions were very small especially for the price. They use the rice trays to put the main course in and all veg no meet. Terrible scroungers. They will only lose customers going on like that. And your looking at one. Never again.

12/05/2025: This coffee shop is all function, no flavour—at least when it comes to atmosphere. The interior feels like a stripped-down fast food chain: sterile lighting, plastic finishes, and absolutely no warmth or personality. It’s surprising for a location like Dundrum, where you’d expect more thought, more style, more anything. The food? Let’s say it won’t stir your senses. Pre-made, reheated sandwiches sit behind the counter, each one a clone of the next—dense, doughy bread packed with hearty but uninspired fillings. My sandwich was substantial enough to keep hunger at bay, but it lacked the flavour, texture or freshness that would make it memorable. A glass of wine or soft drink is on offer too, but it feels oddly out of place in such a rushed, cafeteria-like setting. This spot works fine as a pit stop if you’re killing time before a movie. But with the prices on the higher end and the experience so forgettable, it’s hard to justify a return visit. The lack of English-speaking staff made the ordering process more difficult than it needed to be, adding to the sense that this place isn’t really trying. All in all: filling, but not fulfilling.

15/12/2024: Asked for a simple cheese and ham toasty and was told that they can’t make stuff from scratch has to b off counter and my gf got one of rolls of the bar and couldn’t eat it as tasted like it was made a week ago. Terrible service, terrible food and overpriced 🤬🤬

01/06/2025: Ordered chips with a tub of curry sauce, got home and chips burnt and shrivelled, looked like old recooked chips, straight in the bin 😡

28/05/2025: Do not order anything from there. The only good thing in the entire experience was that this slop arrived quickly but even then delivery driver did not followed the instruction to come at the back gate and came to the front. Chicken in the main dish was boiled and rubbery, not even fried, just boiled and rubbery, it tasted faintly of salt and thats about it. Sauce was dreadfull. I also ordered vegetable spring rolls, what came was an abomination. It was filled with chicken and disgusting cabbage, vegetable spring rolls with chicken. Not only that those were not spring rolls, it was a slop that I would not give to a dog wrapped in a soggy crepe, battered and deep fried, it also tasted like it was deep fried multiple times. Spring rolls needs to be wrapped in rice paper, not crepe... fries were dry and were definitely refried not fresh. After eating not even 30 procent of that thing (I was really hungry) I felt like I just drank a soup made out of vegetable oil alone, its not fresh, its not good tasting, it makes you feel sluggish and sick and it was not even what I ordered. Its crap. Do yourself a favour and if you want to eat something and this place is your only option just chew on your shoes for a bit. You will have vastly better experience.

05/07/2025: Please don't make mistakes with orders. Properly train your staff to not speak when handling food as spit might get on it.

05/07/2025: - Food are very greasy/oily - Customer Service is non existent, crew are all non-Irish, that does not speak decent English & all are very rude, you will never see them smile - Dining area are always dirty & oily, full of left overs - Toilet is the worst, disgusting place you can ever go to - I don't know why people are still buying from this store

07/07/2025: In fairness I haven’t eaten in Andrews since Covid began. I checked the menu tonight to discover that for example Malaysian curry but no description of what’s in the curry. Just extras ie Boiled rice or fried rice. Yes you can pick your protein or veg but what else s as re they putting in. Also how hot is the curry

14/04/2025: Ordered online, ordered a dish and put special requirements on that dish. It came without the special requirements and when I called I was told they don't see them. Very rude service. Very unhelpful, won't be ordering here again.

29/06/2025: Ordered from this store, was charged and after a half an hour the food had not shown up but was showing as delivered on the app. Called the store to check and was immediately told that this happens in error occasionally and the food would be with us soon. This was without me providing any detail on the order (number, address etc.). I asked the attendant to check the specific order and I was told the order would be with us within 15 minutes. The food never showed up despite being charged and the store did not answer my calls thereafter. Very poor service.

27/05/2025: Wouldn’t recommend ordering here my pizza came over hour late and cold and Alex who was working here was so unprofessional and rude I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody and employee role should really be looked at

21/06/2025: Literally the worst "cafe" in the country. Everything is microwaved, nothing is fresh. The garbage food is also overpriced. The staff are rude and unhelpful, they seem to enjoy being unpleasant. The staff are incompetent and can't make decent cappuccino, always boiling hot. They are extremely lucky with the location, located in a gym, because they'd have closed years ago anywhere else.

19/04/2025: Literally just leaving O'brien clontarf 16.17pm Saturday I'm a bus driver and usually gets lovely flatwhite there. I for few mins and order a flatwhite and the girl at the counter was like " ah sorry I just cleaned the machine " I was like so no coffee she was like I gave to wait 10mins..was extremely rude and unprofessional. Guess need to find another shop for my coffee

16/07/2025: Absolutely loved this place when it opened gor food the other night sealed it up in a linchbox to have for lunch next day opened it and there was fly eggs all over the food. And the food wasnt left out it was in an airtight container. Made me sick will never order from here again its cheap food for a reason

19/06/2025: I had a deeply disappointing experience at this Subway location. Staff were treated unfairly and spoken to in a disrespectful manner. In particular, I witnessed employees being verbally mistreated and racially stereotyped, including offensive comments towards Indian staff. Additionally, I observed unsanitary food handling, including reusing bread that had already been served to other customers. These practices raise serious concerns about both workplace ethics and food safety standards. I hope Subway headquarters seriously reviews the conduct of this franchise and protects both customers and employees.

15/03/2025: The staff were lovely, no faulting them there. I had a 3 item breakfast, eggs, pudding, and a hash town. As well as a cup of drip coffee. All of the food and drink were as bland as I've had in a long time. Just felt and tasted of very low quality. So in short, very poor food and coffee, but staff were very nice. Someone needs to step it up in terms of quality

04/05/2025: Booked function room for 18th birthday party. Lady came into party little after 9pm accused a boy from take her phone from behind counter party put to a stand still with every one standing so cctv could be viewed to see which person take the phone when cctv was viewed owner or manager not sure her name is kelly had left her phone in kitchen another worker went in and got phone from kitchen and then they all apologised full party left so embarrassed definitely will never be a customer again shocking experience from a company so unprofessional apology doesn't work that way. By cot by all means !!!!!!

06/02/2025: To be fair the person working was nice enough but makes awful sandwich the topping portions were so off it was basically just an onion and bread sandwich that’s it , only plain white bread option available and nothing else and got a really hard piece in the taco beef I think it was bone Bread was kind of stale too overall not very good :(

03/05/2025: Fresh Food and Friendly Faces but Let Down by the Plates I visited O’Briens Café in Jervis Shopping Centre with my son early on a Saturday morning. It was one of the very few places open and serving food at 10.30am, which was a real bonus when everything else was still closed. The convenience alone makes it worth considering if you are in the area early. The sandwiches were genuinely tasty. The bread was fresh and clearly good quality, and the ingredients felt well chosen and nicely balanced. What really stood out though was the staff. The two team members on duty were warm, welcoming, and seemed genuinely happy to serve us. That kind of positive attitude makes a big difference and gave the place a bright, upbeat feel from the moment we arrived. However, there was one detail that did take away from the overall experience. The sandwiches were served on basic plastic plates, which felt out of place given the price. It gave the meal a slightly disposable, rushed feel that didn't match the quality of the food or the care put into service. I understand it is part of a food hall setting, but a switch to proper crockery would go a long way in elevating the overall experience and better justifying the cost. In the end, O’Briens offered a quick and satisfying bite with genuinely fresh ingredients and excellent service. A small change in presentation could easily turn a good visit into a great one.

25/04/2025: An excellent automotive workshop that takes the time! I had my Golf GTI lowered here. Together with the mechatronics engineer, we then selected a new exhaust system that really roars. For me the visit was worth it, even though my drop center rims were scratched when I got onto the ramp.
